It should be illegal to require that any device or software connect to the internet just to run. I shouldn't need to log in with microsoft to open any of their programs on my local computer. All games should be playable without access to an online server. All media you pay for should be downloadable to local disk as a raw file and if they don't like that because they know you'll share it and upload it, tough shit. They took your money already, they'll live.

It's gonna be such a funny mess when Donald Trump dies of a stroke on April 1st, 2024.
Naturally everybody will think it's fake because of the date only to lose their minds (both positively and negatively based on their opinion of trump) when realizing it's real
There will be massive celebrations in the streets and on social media and lots of predictable "don't speak ill of the dead" discourse about those celebrations
Weird evangelicals will pull some weird number trick talking about how Jesus was conceived on April 1st and that makes Trump a sort of messiah and people will make fun of that
The Republicans (after they're done with the faux-sadness and faux-outrage) will stomp over each other to be his successor but none of them will succeed. They'll tear each other apart and have no single nominee for the November elections.
There will be discourse about if Biden and the living former presidents should go to his funeral (they won't, he was a traitor insurrectionist)
The Ukraine-Russia War immediately goes in favor of Ukraine as morale in the Kremlin is reduced. China similarly backs off from its threats on Taiwan.
Ten thousand new memes are made, some sticking around for years to come.
Not a month later a bunch of unofficial biographies of Trump hit the bookshelves, many with new details about just how awful he was.

now my parents have worked themselves out of poverty, and live comfortably. guess who they voted for last election.
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, to listen to doctors and get my flu vaccine and any shots i could because they remembered Before.
then they started fighting Covid precautions.
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, that the ozone was disappearing and the earth was dying and we needed to recycle and save the planet.
now my parents think climate change is a myth.
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, that racism was a plague, that we had to love and accept everyone, that we should never judge before walking a mile in their shoes.
then they told me that protesting for my Black siblings was wrong.
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, that we needed to give to the poor. working at soup kitchens. making quilts. collecting food and money and supplies. building houses. because it was the christian and just plain right thing to do.
now they look at me, on food stamps with their grandchildren, and lament the "welfare state".
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, that it was easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven and that any rich man, especially an immoral one, should never run our country.

iâm tired ALL the time. recently my friend mentioned that maybe i should look into endometriosis. and it hasnât left my brain. i feel like i probs donât have it. but that could be because in high school i was told that one of the essential symptoms is bleeding between periods. which i have never had. but i do have HORRENDOUSLY terrible period symptoms (controlled by the combined pill) that would be debilitating and take me out for 1-4 days.
but endometriosis is so tricky so i donât know. i also donât think itâs causing me enough trouble to try and be diagnosed for the next 9 years.
and there are plenty of other reasons for me to be tired ? right ? even though when i was vegetarian i was sent off for blood test after blood test because i couldâve been iron or B12 deficient (i wasnât) and then maybe i was tired because i bled so much on my periods. but now i donât get my period and i eat meat now. so. why has it arguably gotten worse ??????

feeling loved right now. the guy who sexually harassed me for a year was on my universityâs magazine editorial team. every time this magazine would post a tiktok, my flatmates would comment things about how itâs crazy that they have a sexual predator on their team.
today the magazine dmâd them and asked them what they were talking about. after explaining. the magazine has said they have been removed from their position!
