There's something so aesthetic about taking notes on graph paper. I used to be strictly lined paper for subjects with more writing and graph paper with math. I am so happy that I can use graph paper with more heavy paragraphed type subjects. I used frixion markers for diagrams and I love using frixion for diagrams like these. Eventually they'll disappear, but this is why I take pictures of my notes sometimes :) anyway, hope you enjoy my little blog. This paper I got from Staples since the store is closing soon near my area. This is high quality paper that I got for really cheap. No bleed through, just some ghosting. I used uni Propus Window highlighters, Bic pastel highlighters and Mildliners. My black gel pen I used was sharpie s gel pen in 0.5mm.

I'm getting the hang of OneNote and decided to share with you all on what you can do with OneNote. I'm using the block note taking method just to do some review on what I learned way back. I do have an exam coming up, so I think this is very helpful just to regurgitate information and review it in blocks since I'm a visual learner. :) Hopefully I can get a video up on YouTube and show how I use OneNote for my studies as in a tutorial.

Hello! I wanted to post my study plan! How I do this, is I use the 10 minute type planner/tracker system. Each 6 squares represents 10 minutes so in total it's 60 minutes. I color code, so I know what goes where. I hope this is useful for some people. :) It gives me an overall breakdown on what I do when studying and such. Anyway have a good day :D

I decided to change the set up of my notes to keep them more organized! I hope whoever reads this blog enjoys my notes! :) I'm using Pilot Frixion pens. I know that earlier, I rated them low, but I'm starting to love them again and decided to try them out again because I had a coupon for Staples and decided to just buy them with my coupon xD. I also found a frixion pen in my box of markers that I stored up in my closet. It worked when I tried it! Even through the heat wave and my apartment getting up high into the 90s, I guess my one frixion pen was safe in my closet! Now I'm storing them in a bag near a cool water bottle and inside of my closet, so they don't get exposed to heat. ❤️ I'm just hoping that they last awhile!!! Anyway stay safe everyone!

Hi everyone! So I made my own study plan template for the week inspired by paperian believe time tracker. Basically just add if you want to do a reading from the textbook, writing notes, or an assignment. The graph below is a 24hr time period in 10 minute increments from left to right, so it's basically a tracker on how much time you spend studying each day! Follow me on Instagram @crazypastellady and message me if you want the link to my OneNote notebook to get my templates!

Diagrams are great for helping to study!!! I used some pilot frixion pens and markers. I know in a recent blog, I told you all not to buy, but I somewhat change my mind. I found a good working pilot frixion pen in a box in a closet with the rest of my markers and pens, then I decided to go out and buy some more since I had a gift card to Staples. I found a good way to store my frixion pens now! I put them in my backpack then in my closet, so that even if the apartment gets too hot, they won't be exposed to the heat. They do work pretty well when taking notes and drawing diagrams. I also used my Whitelines book and registered them all to my Whitelines app in case any of the notes disappear with heat, so I have them permanently on my phone. :) My review went up to 3/5. I still wouldn't recommend them for regular note taking, but if you have a whitelines notebook or you have a way to take a clear picture of your notes, or maybe scan them in (I use HP Smart app, which is an amazing app for scanning pages on your phone), then you should be good!! That's the end!! :)

I wanted to show Jasmine that her book "Study with Me" is helping me a lot on keeping my notes more organized especially with math! Thank you Jasmine! She is an inspiration to me and she's so young and has accomplished so much!

I wanted to do a battle of the gel pens review so here it goes....
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, I was actually surprised by one of them but I won't mention it until later. My favorites are starred. I did some closeup images, as well so that it could better be seen. I also used yellow highlighters because they are notorious for smearing the most. The tombows smeared the most and so did the Mildliner pastel yellow.
My absolute favorite gel pen out of all of them is going to be the Pentel Energel 2S because this pen does not smear my highlighters. I also love the Pilot Envelope Sign because it does not smear any of it, even the tombows. Tombows I have noticed will smear with anything, even with some ballpoint pens, so you really have to choose wisely which pens to use with tombows. The one that I was really surprised with was the sharpie gel S. My black sharpie gel S actually dried out, so I had to switch to the blue. They surprised me because they don't dry as well as the Pentel Energel. Good job sharpie. The sharpie pen also reminds me of the Pentel Energel 2S formula. I was actually surprised by the Sarasa Gel Select 3 (I don't have a black one) because it does normally smear with other colors, but this time it didn't smear.
Let's get into the worst ones. The absolute worst one is the Pilot Precise V5. Don't ever use these when highlighting. I also don't like the papermate inkjoy gel pens because they also smeared the highlighters. The pilot G-2, zebra sarasa clip, and the knock off muji gel pens are also not good choices to highlight over due to the smearing.
The Pentel Energel regular does have a slight smear that is almost unnoticeable. It's ok, but you will still see a tiny bit of smearing, so I opt for the Energel 2S.
Now the bleed through....
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Pilot Envelope sign is the worst bleed through. This pen is the best at not smearing highlighters, but the bleed through is the worst, so it depends on what you are willing to compromise with. The paper I used is actually very thin paper, so I recommend going for the Kokuyo Campus type paper of the whitelines from the actual website that I can't remember at all because the paper are thick. I haven't tested the FiveStar, but I believe the FiveStar reinforced paper may be on the thicker side as well, so it is useful.
That's my review and I hope it was helpful!

BUYER BEWARE!!
So...don't buy Pilot frixion pens. I think these pens are a total waste of money. I swear on not buying them anymore because they do this to me...
Tumblr media
The first few times that I bought frixion highlighters and pens, I do blame myself for because there wasn't a disclaimer that these pens are sensitive to heat and that's how these pens erase, so I left these highlighters and pens in a hot car because honestly, I didn't have a place to put my pens at the time. I was living in someone's garage if that says anything 😅. Anyway...those dried out and I swore on not buying these pens again. Well...because I watched another studytee video, I really loved how she used the frixion pens for her notes. I had two pens from a pack that I had already bought anyway and decided that I was going to use them again. Well, they both stopped working. The heat wave came and made my apartment hot, so I threw one of them away. I kept the other one because it was still working at the time. Another heat wave came and now this one stopped working. I threw it away but ended up fishing it out because I read that if you put these in the freezer then the ink will come back. I put this pen in the freezer for hours and well ...the ink came back all right. The ink came back super light, I could barely see it!!! So, yeah. I'm not buying these pens anymore. I did put some markers in my Amazon shopping cart, but now I'm going to take it out because I don't think these pens are worth it. I live in a too hot state that I will stick to my regular ballpoint pens and markers/felt tips. I rate these a 2/5 because I do love the idea behind erasable pens and to erase them with friction/heat, but I don't like that these types don't erase well in the first place, because there is still some ink left behind and also how sensitive it is to heat that even if you keep it in an 80° household, these pens will stop working completely. These pens are not worth the price to me, so I'm just putting this up to let anyone or someone know to not waste money on a product that will not last a long time.

Hi everyone! I wanted to do a review of the Uni Emott Fine Tip Markers.
Tumblr media
I think the box is aesthetically pleasing so that's one point for these markers!
Tumblr media
I want to say that I do love how these markers write and love how it pairs with most of my Mildliners. Plus these markers have more colors to choose from than the Mildliner line. I'm more of a visual learner so seeing colors helps me learn more effectively.
Tumblr media
The only drawback that I have is that these markers do bleed through thinner paper. This paper is a little bit on the thinner side, but honestly it isn't bad to the point where I can't see my writing through to the other side. All in all, I give these markers a 4/5! Anyway thanks for stopping by!

Today is mask day with my boyfriend. I love it and wanted to relax and enjoy these types of moments with him. For real though, I didn't think he'd want to do it with me because to me guys think masks are for girls. No. It can be for boys, too. :)

I really love math notes because you can make them look aesthetically pleasing with minimal effort ♥️
I'm using a uni jetstream 0.7 4 in 1 pen and a uni alpha gel ballpoint pen in 0.7. At first, I didn't like the alpha gel ink because it was too light and skipped, but I find myself using this ballpoint pen more than my Pentel Energel gel pens. The calculator is a TI-84 Plus CE. Just love the pastel mint color so I grabbed this one over the other graphing calculators.

My Whitelines Review
Tumblr media
So, I captured my handwritten notes onto my phone with the Whitelines app and I am mostly pleased with it. The notebook is good quality, but I am a little upset about my purple notes not being captured well on my app. It is functional and I like to have my notes on my phone so I can review my notes on the go actually and not take my notebook out especially when it gets too late and I don't have a good light source. Yes there is a distraction when it comes to reviewing the notes on the phone, but I can share these notes onto my OneNote app and have them on my computer and start annotating my notes from my textbook which saves me ruining the notes I already have written down. :") By the way, I got a 2in1 Dell Laptop so that I could use it mainly for school. I see people with an iPad and apple pencil, but to me apple is too expensive, so I got a laptop that I could also use as a tablet and use the OneNote free app that I got with the laptop. Overall, I am happy with this app.

My Desk Tour~
Tumblr media
I set my desk up to keep my markers, pens and notebooks organized.
Tumblr media
Here are extra pens and highlighters plus a storage for some of my important papers. I also keep flashcards and post it notes in this area.
Tumblr media
Here are some shelves where I keep my backpack, my computer paper and another binder. I keep my textbooks for biology class here, too and a paper shredder for documents with sensitive information and to clear clutter.
Tumblr media
Here is my drawer where I keep my flags, calculator for math, Kindle, correction tape, sharpies, cords, tape and anything that I need to reach for. I love having a drawer organizer so that I can keep things sectioned and make it look less cluttered even though it is still a little bit cluttered. x)
Tumblr media
Next to my desk is my art desk. I just love my pegboard and the wired notebook type holder things that I got from Ikea. This is basically my art section because I love to doodle and draw a little bit when I'm not studying. I also love to practice calligraphy when I feel like it. Oh and that's my boyfriend sitting in his area, which he is more of a messy person, so I don't want to show that part 😅 anyway that's it!! Have a good day!

I'm studying for Biology. Making flashcards to me is fun and it helps me memorize the things that I need to memorize. I usually like to write one word on each side to make a sort of connection from one word to another. Because I can't memorize paragraphs it's easier for me to think of it like this "Heart to aorta" sort of like that. One is "thyroid to calcium" which ended up being a test question and I ended up getting the answer right. Just making the connections to me is easier and helpful. Anyway, thanks for stopping by and be safe. :)
