Stop being Racist please! It’s not fair to them
People are dying on the streets, not having a home to go to, a hospital bed to get treated and yet there are so many insensitive people, making racist remarks about the Chinese. In a recent CNA article, it has been clearly proven that the Chinese labs did not create this virus. In this pandemic, we should all unite and not spread hate.

Let’s fight against the virus instead of fighting against one another and being racist. Blaming one another is ineffective and we should work together to overcome the virus!

Stop the spread of the “discrimination virus”! We do not realize that we are emotionally wounding others with our groundless insults. Let us handle the Covid-19 with compassion and care for others.

This video shows what its like for a typical Chinese- American. The behaviour of the American man shown in this video is EXTREMELY INAPPROPRIATE and should not be condoned. We should stand against such horrible behaviour. ❤️ This video is made by Yashika Verma (27) 3SY.

Recently, Trump called the Covid-19 “Chinese Virus”. This comes out as very offensive to the Chinese race. We should stop using a virus that affects everybody equally as a tool to power discrimination and xenophobia. Both of which may seem trivial but may just shake the world one day with hatred charging it.

This is a sign at a nail shop in Phu Quoc, Vietnam.
Although Covid-19 originated in China, the virus has no nationality and does not only affect the Chinese. Hence, we should not use this as a reason to discriminate against the Chinese. Amid this Covid-19 outbreak, we should not spread hate, but instead spread love and support one another.

This photoshop is actually done by Danish newspaper. The Chinese embassy in Copenhagen said it “offends human conscience.” We also feel it is a very insensitive of them to do that and such forms of racism should not be encouraged at all. Using a country’s flag to mock a country is very offensive. Although Covid-19 originated in China, it is very rude to just blame it on them

“It's from China. #ChineseVirus." University of Washington. Seattle, WA, USA.
Although Covid-19 was originated from China, it was not asked for, we shouldn’t be putting the blame on the Chinese people and categorise Covid-19 as the “Chinese virus”. Covid-19 is a virus so as racism. We should stop racism and focus on fighting just one virus, Covid-19 instead!! 🙌🙌

Student from Singapore hurt in Oxford Street attack
Jonathan Mok, 23, said "I was attacked because of the colour of my skin"
He was beaten up by a group of men who told him: "I don't want your coronavirus in my country."
Covid-19 ≠ Chinese people
We should not discriminate against the Chinese people around us and be rude to them but instead, we should show care to everyone around us and support one another through this tough time.
It’s NOT the time to put blames on one another BUT it's the time to support one another!!

“Toxic; Made in Wuhan." Pasadena, California.
Many people have shown hate on Chinese people by regarding every Chinese person they come across as “Toxic”. Covid-19 can hurt people so as racism. We should stop hurting others by being racist and should instead cheer people up so that we can all pass through this tough time together smoothly!! 🤜🤜

“Go back to China!” Woman yells at a Chinese Tesla store employee in Sydney, Australia.
Amid this Covid-19 outbreak, many people have been ranting their anger on Chinese people merely because Covid-19 was first originated in China. However, a virus outbreak is undesirable and uncontrollable. Hence, instead of putting the blame on one another, we should work together as a whole and defeat Covid-19!!🤗🤗

Covid-19 is not pleasurable so as racism. We should put ourselves in the victims’ shoes before even considering being racist.
According to the International Journal for Equity in Health, exposure to racism was associated with an adjusted point estimate indicating a 41% increased risk for total emotional and behavioural difficulties.
We should STOP being racist,
work together hand in hand,
and fight against Covid-19 TOGETHER!!🤝🤝🙌🙌

An overwritten racism playbook. Artists succumb to sarcasm to shed light on the racism brought about by the pandemic situation. Chinese and Asians are being targeted and discriminated against due to this new coronavirus. This is extremely inhumane and unfair. Spread love, not germs and racism!

Donald Trump’s stoking of anti-China racism over the coronavirus puts Asian-Americans in a tight spot. On top of the economic and public health challenges, Asian-Americans are also the target of xenophobic attacks fanned by the major-power competition between the US and China.

A coronavirus meme spread by Hong Kong university students, blaming China of playing with fire. An assumed purpose is to keep the anti-China movement alive, and demonise people from China. However, the Covid-19 crisis extends beyond Hong Kong politics and China. Many Singaporeans and Hongkongers have been racially targeted overseas because of the virus. Pinning the virus on China only reinforces bigotry and racism.

A comic inspired by a real event reported in Gothenburg, Sweden, a 15-year-old girl of Singaporean descent, born and raised in Sweden, was tapped on the shoulder by a young woman who, after first mentioning the coronavirus, asked her to get off the tram, by artist Lisa Wool-Rim Sjöblom.
Even those of different nationalities, but of Asian descent, are targeted due to the covid-19 pandemic. This highlights the fact that discrimination does not only come in physical and verbal attacks, but in subtler actions too.
