I am trying to either make a pastel painting, an acrylic painting, or an oil painting, and I find myself...stuck. So I was hoping that sketching would help. So I sketched Cyclops and Megatron, but it's not working at the moment.

I don't know. Just read issue 37 of Mirage Comics' TMNT and the painting will make sense. It is what it is.

Drew this sketch because...one of the things that bothers me about TMNT fan art is when people don't take their shells into account. They either draw the clothes/armor going through their shell or they forget the shell, draw the clothes/armor, remember the shell and just draw the shell on top.
So I hopefully didn't do that.

It has been a long time...so here's a work in progress. Based off of Mirage's TMNT volume 1 issue #37. Still got a lot of work to do.

Unfinished Spider-Man sketch. Because the last two turned out terribly and third times the charm. And because I saw the trailer for the Spider-Man sequel for the PS5 and it made me want to get one. And now I just watched Across the Spider-Verse and that was really...really good.

I’m also at DriveThruComics.  All four issues are up on both DriveThruComics and Amazon, but the first issue on DriveThruComics is “pay what you like.”  So if you’re not sure, then go to DriveThruComics and read the first issue and see if it’s something you’d like to read.

Posting the work in progress on issue 5 of my comic, Book of Heretics.  It’s been difficult to keep going and making these.  And, if I’m honest, I’m probably not going to get anywhere with this or really receive any attention or enough attention to sell these.  But I want to complete this.  I want one series that I can say is done, even if it doesn’t sell at all past the few that I’ve sold already.  I don’t know how I’m going to finish it all, but I’m going to try.

Work in progress on a digital painting using Realistic Painter.
I just hope it looks good when it’s all done.  And feels right as well.  I need to finally get a hang on digital painting and just digital illustration in general.  Or just illustration as a whole.
It’s a never-ending path of learning and improvement and utter confusion.

So...in order of what I've built.
Barbatos Lupus Rex is probably the flimsiest one out of all of them. I usually put that one away rather than leave it out because the hands don't like to cooperate and the back pops off.
RX-78 feels the sturdiest out off all of the Gunpla, even compared to Gouf Custom and G-Gundam. I never feel like I'm going to break it by looking at it like I do with Lupus. I hope to build a MG or a RG version when I get the money.
Barbatos felt okay. Better than Lupus, but not as good as RX-78. I think it was after this when I started to pay more attention to the torso to make sure it was thick enough before I buy. And to make sure to use tweezers when placing those stupid stickers.
Gouf was my first time building an MG Gunpla. And while I like how it looks, I feel weird about posing it. Especially while holding its shield and sword. And those tube bits were the worst part of building this Gunpla. It took a lot to put that together.
G-Gundam is the latest one and feels good to pose and manipulate. It feels solid, though I have some trouble with the rear calf armor falling off if I open it up for Super Mode. I don't get why Bandai used rubber for the normal hands and the soles of the feet. I'm afraid of posing it with its beam sabers because of it. Still cool though.
I do want to build a MG RX-78, but I want to try a Gunpla from Gundam Wing. Hopefully I can find a job and afford both after my first paycheck. And food. But mostly Gunpla. I have my priorities.

The first four issues of my comic are on Amazon Kindle!
$2.00 a piece, or $8.00 total for all four issues.
And I really need people to buy this.  Because I need to feed myself and making art is probably the only thing I know how to do and get anywhere with it.  Even if it’s half a step forward.  So...whoever is reading this...please buy my book.  I hope you do enjoy it.  And I hope you respond, even if you don’t.

Issue two of my comic is up on Drivethrucomics.com.  Book of Heretics: The Little Death.  So hopefully, I’ll actually get the attention of someone here and they’ll see these samples and buy it and want to see more.  Or something.  I don’t know.

I’ve posted my comic for sale over at DriveThruComics.com.  Its only 2 dollars an issue, and hopefully I’ll have issues 2, 3, and 4 up by tomorrow.
I just hope someone buys.  I hope the price is reasonable, and I hope this all goes well.

It made sense to make this...but now it doesn't and I really don't know why. But I did and here's Michelangelo, the Last Ronin.
It is amazing that an unused script from Eastman and Laird got stretched out into five issues. And that that its getting a continuation and possibly a video game. I don't know if its how timeless the Mirage Turtles actually are or how tapped in they were to their audience and people in general that even the stuff they didn't use gets over. Kinda scary as well...for reasons I don't want to put out into the air considering how the year has gone.
