Just checking in. Is everything alright?

Things are good for the most part! I did manage to find a job, which I work 5 days a week currently, but I’ve been in much better place thanks to it. It is a bit tiring for me however and has been killing my art motivation lately. Granted we’re in the holiday season now and it’s only going to get more hectic from here on out.

Thanks for checking up on me btw! I had been so caught up with other things that I neglected to give a life update here when I should have. Maybe now with Deltarune being a thing I can find the motivation to return to my UT projects. If not this comic, then definitely the ask blog

How has your life been?

It’s been busy, mostly with trying to find a job, which I am very close to getting. I still don’t have the energy or motivation to pick this comic back up, so it’ll unfortunately remain on hiatus. Probably until I get my financial situation under control.

hey i have herd of this work and love it to death and i dont wanna be pushy im just asking if the comic will come back? you draw really well and have great storytelling abilities and i love your work! just wondering

I do want to return to working on this story. It’s just that I haven’t been doing the greatest financially and I’ve been spending my time stressed over it. Not to mention my mental and physical health have been all over the place

Until I can get my life more in order, I don’t think I’ll be able to pick up a project this big. At least not for a while longer.

I had to close it because I was getting overloaded with asks. I’ve had no time, energy, or wellness of health to be able to sit down and draw much of anything. And it’s probably gonna be that way for a while unfortunately. My life isn’t at a good point health wise

A note on translation requests

Since I’ve been getting a lot of them lately, I should mention that I do have rules regarding them. They can be located here as well as future listings of any translations I approve: http://corecorruption.tumblr.com/translations

To translate this comic, translators need to be fluent in their chosen language of course. They need to be experienced (i.e. have examples of previous works public), they should have a program that does decent text, and they need to get my permission first.

For any approved translations, I ask that they be linked back to me either here @corecorruption or anywhere else I host the comic (like my dA or smackjeeves accounts). You must also let me know in advance if you wish to host the translation on any other site besides tumblr. I will add other sites to the listings page!

I love how you added an entirely new character, and finagled her (static) into the comic. Some au's these days just seem like blatant copy and paste. Y'know? I also, enjoy how you made the over all "vibe" of the book a kind of gradual build up. It gently pulls at your heart strings. Its refreshing, and enjoyable.

Static ends up in anything I get into lol. She’s my go-to girl for these things

But that being said I’m an advocate of fan characters and I feel like they can add something really nice if done right. It’s something different and that’s what I’m trying to do with CORE Corruption.

I don’t even consider CC an AU tho. I write it as more of an alternate timeline, since there is nothing different with the characters. Kinda doesn’t fit what an AU is supposed to be, at least to me it doesn’t.

Hey thanks! I’m glad to hear that! For a while I’ve been thinking about the overall pacing of the comic so far. I’m trying to be careful and not let it drag on for too long, not without building up suspense. I’m hoping the last few pages of chapter 2 will help pull that off.
