IMPORTANT FACT ABOUT THE 2020 HEBREW TRANSLATION OF GOOD OMENS THE BOOK
So, throughout the whole of Good Omens the book, Aziraphale calls Crowley ādearā or some variant (āmy dearā, ādear boyā, ādear chapā) five times. However, in the newest 2020 translation by Tomer Ben-Aharon, this number goes up to six.
And it all goes back to this Iconic scene:
I seems the translator was worried that āAngelā was not a common enough term of endearment in Hebrew for that gag to work, and so this scene was slighly reworked. Translated back into English, it reads.
"Can we get on?" said Crowley. "Goodnight, miss. Get in, angel."
"I'm coming, my dear" said Aziraphale.
Ah. Well, that explained it. She had been perfectly safe after all.
THIS HAS BEEN A VERY IMPORTANT FACT ABOUT THE 2020 HEBREW TRANSLATION OF GOOD OMENS THE BOOK

Book designs?? Been trying to unearth the Crowley and Aziraphale that Lived In My Head back when I started reading the book in 2016 while on a school trip to London - I stopped reading halfway through because I didnāt want the story to be over!!

Mr.Gaiman, I have a question,
When Aziraphale is called the āAngel of the Eastern Gateā what gate is that referring to? In the TV series the Garden of Eden doesnāt appear to have any gates and the only thing I can think of which it might be referring to is the small crack in the wall of Eden. Is that what his title refers to or is there a different gate which he is the Angel of? Thank you for writing such a brilliant detailed story!
This is his gate.

Aziraphale: So, I thought I might pop up there myself and investigate!
Crowley: Fair enough. What time's your train?
Aziraphale: Actually I rather thought I might take the car.
Crowley: What car?
Aziraphale: Our car.
Crowley: We don't have a car.
Aziraphale: Of course we do. Isn't she a beauty?
