I noticed Mr. Perry and Mr. Nolan call each other by their first names, and Mr. Perry says, "Good to see you again" to Mr. Nolan.
This shows that Neil's father made a close relationship with Mr. Nolan. If Neil were to get a "bad" mark on a test, or get in trouble, Mr. Perry would IMMEDIATELY be notified. Neil's father watched his every move, and ensured he excelled in school.
I find it scary how Mr. Perry stated, "Well he won't disappoint us. Right Neil?" and Neil replied "I'll do my best sir."
Not father, but sir.

neil autism. neil being super upset when mr perry changes what extracurriculars he's taking without his permission. neil stimming when he's writing the fake permission letter. neil wanting to be an actor because its far easier to play out a pre-written interaction than to have an actual interaction. neil "autistic extrovert" perry.

dps is such an autumn/winter staple, but it always breaks my heart that neil perry never got to see the spring.
neil died when it was dark and the trees were bare and the cold raged outside his window and he never got to see the sun rise or the flowers bud. early spring is when the world itself begins to hope, ease into the gentleness it deserves. it breaks me that neil perry never got to see that.

first on the list !! @desire-mona (they/them). mona is everything and I love them. makes the absolute best posts ever and is just so fucking funny. you will see rsl posts very frequently. also posts about house md frequently. one of the best mutuals ever !! their tags under stuff they reblog are the best okay, they're either agreeing with you or it's something like "hey. *leans up against my anxiety diagnosis*" that's an actual tag I've gotten from one of their reblogs btw.
and now @i-am-in-love-with-todd-anderson (she/her). ania is one of the sweetest people ever and is so supportive. also very smart !! her analysis posts over the movie make so much sense and are mostly things I would've never thought of but still make so much sense. (those posts are either so depressing or are just a nice little experience.) also, she's like in love with Meeks. do I need to say any more.
@askthedeadpoetssociety (she/her). also just such a nice person. makes beautiful fan art and takes requests !! pretty sure she barely joined herself so there's not much else to say but I am very excited to see what her blog leads to !!
@pinksnail55 (she/her). everyone knows pinksnail55. we've only recently learned her name is Caroline !! her account is mainly reblogs, which I think is absolutely perfect. you would never miss a single amazing post.
@cimacally (I don't know pronouns, sorry). is also pretty new to the fandom ! comes on every once on a while to post the most accurate headcanons you will ever read in your entire life, reblog a thing or two, goes away (?), and then repeats. blog is still definitely worth checking out !!

hi!!! having a moment of pure happiness rn and I have to share this headcanon/idea with you!
Imagine Neil and Todd first kiss being after one of Neil's plays, one unfortunately the others couldn't attend due to personal things tbey had to do. But Todd managed to free himself last minute and surprises Neil! He goes to congratulate himself with Neil backstage, and Neil is just so happy the play went well and that Todd is there for him that he just kisses him
At first Todd is taken back and so shy and awkward about it, but then kisses him back and from there they start dating!!
When they finally tell the others it's a sweey moment because they're like, "So, we wanted to tell you guys something... Me and Todd are dating." And they kinda exchange sweet looks amd hold hands
AND I JUST SEE CHARLIE GOING "wait you weren't dating before?"
kissing you on the mouth. this is perfect. im in love. and it's so in character too?? their first kiss would so be a spur of the moment thing. neil gets excited and just kisses the shit out of todd because he can't contain it and *ugly sobbing*
and charlie's response as well oh my god. cameron would be the type to go "fucking FINALLY i can't handle watching you two pine over each other anymore" and get slapped by charlie or meeks
