One afternoon in 1999, while watching TV in the dining room, a new show appeared on the “Magic Kids” channel. It was a different cartoon, its drawing style was something I had never seen before, that “Japanese cartoon” was called “Dragon Ball”.
Dragon Ball was the door that opened me to a whole new path, a path that today, at almost 37 years old, I continue to travel, the path of anime. I remember the furor that was in the schools, we all talked about Dragon Ball. The boys playing in the yard replicating the fight scenes, or learning to draw using the muscular characters of the series as a reference.
Dragon Ball was part of the childhood of many children born in the 90s and 2000s. It is a series that even if you are not a fan of anime, you have at least heard about it. We all know who Goku is and we know something about his feats, his kindness and his strength.
Akira Toriyama has shaped the childhood of billions of children around the world and was the giant whose shoulders served as support and foundation for many mangakas of the shonen genre who were inspired by his work.
You will always be remembered for your great works and for the beautiful messages you gave us with them.
Thank you for everything Mr. Toriyama.

Last Friday I watched on Netflix “Miraculous Ladybug”, The Movie.
I followed this show since the first concept art releases and the “2D PV trailer”, so yeah, I`ve been here for a while.
I watched the show and I loved it. Sadly I quit at the end of season 4 cause I was really dissapointed on how the story was developing and how the characters were changing for bad.
A few weeks ago I decided to finish the show cause I really wanted to “end this” one way or another.
MLB The Movie was everything I expected from the show since day 1. That magic in the narrative, that visual beauty of Paris at night, the moon, the stars and the romance between the main characters . . . everything looked perfect just as I imagined (I fucking cry all the time watching the movie)
I believe that this movie had a strong influence from the “2D PV Trailer” cause I found moments, scenes and caracter designs and personalities that were exactly like in the trailer (like “The Mime” which I love)
Honestly is amazing how the same director, Jeremy Zag, and all the creative team with a different influence and a different perspective can make a totally different thing, and that thing was this movie.
8 years of show . . . healed in 1 hour and 40 minutes, THAT my folks . .
is TRULY MIRACULOUS
