Monster Boy Voice Claims/Updates

These are my own little headcannons for how I hear my boys' voices in my head. I do have a sort of have a few big ideas for what I wanna do with these boys and their world, but I just don't really have the time or materials at the moment. I am currently reworking the lore of their world and their individual lore too tho, and hopefully I'll find the time to write some more!

Strange Earth Custom

A small little drabble about Apollo finding out food here on Earth. (he's trying his best...)

Apollo is, curious to say the least.

There have been times where you caught him just staring at random things around the house, or even when you guys go out, wondering what it is, what it does, and how it works. He goes off on little tangents about how fascinating Earth was and how it's so different from his home world, and you just sit there and listen to his adorable little rambles.

Today, you decided to make him something special.

Ever since Apollo came to Earth, the main thing he loves about the planet (second to you of course, he adores you) is the food. He’s just so fascinated by all the different food here. The smells, the tastes, how it looks, he’s just obsessed. So you decided to make him something special for dinner.

As you were cooking, Apollo just happened to walk in to see what you were doing.

“Starlight? Dearest, why are you over the fire box?”

You couldn’t help but chuckle a bit about how he described the stove.

“Just making dinner for tonight. It’ll be ready in a bit.”

Apollo watched as you cooked, noticing the steak you were cooking.

“What is that?…”

“It’s a steak, I’m pretty sure you’ll love it!”

Apollo tilted his head a bit as he watched you cook.

“This meat.. it came from an animal, yes?’

“It did..”

“Well, did you bury its heart back into the ground, that way it can have a nice life when it is reborn?…”

You then gave him a look. Apollo has told you how his species hunt when it comes to animals, so this was gonna break his heart, well… more like break both of his hearts.

“Apollo… We don’t do that here on Earth.”

“…. What?…”

“We don’t bury the hearts of the animals we eat hon. Their meat just gets sold in the stores.”

“You… You humans don’t do that? But… what about the animals?…’

“They just get fed to be fattened up and then sent to slaughter."

Apollo's markings went a soft blue. The look on his face just broke your heart. He looks like he was on the verge of tears. On Apollo's planet, burying the heart of an animal before it's eaten is giving its soul back to the planet and hoping it has peace in its next life. You thought for a moment and had an idea.

"How about this hon... I'll cut up a small piece of it, and we'll bury it in the backyard. I know it's not exactly it's heart but is a close second."

"A-Alright... I... I guess that can be acceptable... at least the poor thing can have some kind of peace in its next life. You humans.... your customs are so strange."

"I know hon."

Hi

I know I haven’t been really active on here, I’ve just been trying to find motivation in order to write about the boys again. I have a lot of ideas but can’t really find the motivation to write them. Also I did just finish my first year of college last month so I’ve just been, unmotivated to do anything lol.

But now, I think I may start writing again, while also just doodling the boys if I have the time or energy.

I will design a human form for him soon, but siren form is just too much fun to draw :D

I give you a concept that has stuck with me, so I want you to have it instead.

Here’s some concept are of a monster, it’s supposed to be for a variant a merfolk, but I seem to have forgotten about it. So I’ve decided I’d give it to you. And I’d like to think your megalodon merman would be titan bride sized, when in human form.

Shark Frenzy

A little short story about Zayne’s more shark side

Warnings: small blood mentions

Zayne tends to go a little crazy around blood. He is a mershark after all. He never lets you see his frenzies in fear of scaring you off. How primal he can be, even around the smallest drop.

And that’s how we got here.

You were teaching yourself how to sew since you noticed a few holes in your favorite pair of jeans (and cause Zayne has a habit of ripping off his shirts)

You were so focused on your little project that you didn't hear Zayne walk through the door.

"Babe?... Hey Babe!"

"Oh hey Zayne." You felt the bed dip, meaning Zayne plopped himself down on it.

"What'cha up to?"

"Learning how to sew. My favorite jeans were tearing at the seams."

"Well look at you being all crafty."

You couldn't help but snort at that. Zayne reached over and gave you a quick peck on the cheek, then he started to pepper your face in kisses.

"Zayne- haha! Zayne calm down, I have a needle in my hands!"

"Not my fault you're so cute!"

"Okay, let me finish what I have to do, then I'll give you all the attention that you want, Okay?"

He agreed and let you go back to your work. You went back into the zone, but then you felt a prick and dropped everything.

“Ow!”

“Babe!”

“I’m fine, I just pricked my finger.” You said and you popped your bleeding finger in your mouth. What you didn’t notice is that Zayne cause scent of your blood. His eyes slowly turn a pitch black and you heard him snarl behind you.

“Zayne? Are you— AH!” He pounced right on top of you, and you tried your best to hold him away.

"Zayne! Snap out of it!" As you tried your best to hold him away, you then began to piece together of what sent him into a frenzy. You then reached for something to cover his face with. You grabbed one of Zayne's shirts and covered his face with it. You felt him slowly calming down. His eyes slowly returning to a golden yellow. You gently cupped his face as he tried to regain his thoughts.

"Babe?... Oh God.. I-I'm sorry- I-"

"No, it's okay. That was just you're instincts."

He took a deep sigh and held your hand cupping his cheek.

"Are you alright though?"

"Yeah, it's just a prick nothing serious. It's just a prick."
