Okay so Iâm trying to figure out just how much the Death Note corrupts a person, because there is literal canonical evidence that Light is much different to how he is when he has the Death Note. During the Yotsuba arc, Light straight up contradicts the beliefs he has as Kira. He says that he would never manipulate a woman bc thatâs against his moral code, but Kira!Light literally manipulates women for fun. Not to mention the fact that Light fully claims that he disagrees with Kira and while we can assume heâs lying for obvious reasons, he still technically doesnât have much of a reason to lie because from his perspective he has no idea who Kira is and he thinks heâs innocent, so we can also assume that actuallyâ he genuinely doesnât agree with Kira.
And this post isnât a âLight was good all along he was just corrupted by the death noteâ post Iâm just saying, itâs safe to assume that Light pre-death note was definitely nowhere near as evil and morally fucked as Light post-death note, and it is likely the death note itself had a part to play in it, because Iâm pretty sure canonically the death note âpossessesâ the user.
but anyway, thatâs not the point of this post. The point of this post isâ let me put this version of Death Note to you:
L touches the Death Note, and when he does it like... actually corrupts him. Because letâs be real, L has never been 100% good we all know heâs just as bad as Light is and all he really cares about is winning rather than actually whatâs morally right. So if heâs corrupted by the Death Note and actually decides to join Kira, just imagine a scene after the Yotsuba arc where heâs like âLight I know youâre Kira and I want to join youâ and he eventually convinces Light that heâs actually serious about this and it isnât just trapping him and just...
Iâm sorry but L and Light both being Kira, an absolutely unstoppable force, enemies to lovers but more like forced lovers due to corruption, theyâre literally the worst people youâve ever met and they can never be caught because Lâs on his side now. But obviously L canât just stop the investigation so he has to trick the task force that heâs still hunting Kira, but he can use this to just straight up kill them all from the inside without anyone suspecting him.
And low-key to keep the same ending where Kira loses, L could like... fake his own death in a way and Near still takes over the investigation and his smart, smug ass still manages to figure out Light, but either he doesnât figure out L and itâs one hell of a plot twist (and Lightâs manic laugh at the end is because he still has won and L just reveals himself to Nearâs absolute horror) or he also figures out L and the complete betrayal everyone feels and like...
Honestly this AU is mainly just bc sometimes instead of the hero and anti-hero ship trope I think the gays should just get to be evil together and kill anyone who annoys them both <3

MAGICK NOTES:
Introducing water magic to everyday life is the easiest of all the elements!
While making tea, imagine putting good energy/intention into it and then drink it to have a good day! Afterwards (if you have time and skills) you can feel free to do divination, using leftover tea leaves.
While taking a bath/shower in the evening, imagine the water pouring onto you to be white/light in color and the water dripping off of you to be black/greyish color. I use it to cleanse myself of all the negative energy.
Looking into mirror as a divination is a very disturbing experience for me! Like, itâs effective, it can get weird though.
Water in a spray bottle can be used for space cleansing if you donât wanna use incense all the time. Also itâs good for the indoor plants if you have any!Â
Washing dishes is another ritual of mine and itâs a good way to meditate. I just get lost in thought.Â
If you want to practice water magic, follow moon phases and use them to your advantage!Â
Water magic is not necessarily only gathering water and using it, but also perfoming spells or doing anything spiritual during specific weather conditions (ex.: raining, storm, snowing, hail stones).
TYPES OF WATER USED IN SPELLS:
Moon Water - great for all kinds of spells and craft! Moon water can have different abilities, all depending on during which moon phase we charged it in. The best water is the one charged during full moon or super moon as it is the most powerful.Â
Sun Water - keywords: positivity, strenght, happiness, courage, good health.Â
Rain Water - good for cleansing, meditation and relaxation. Keywords: growth, regeneration, cleansing, rest.
River Water - good for warding or spells with a clear goal as river water has a focused energy. Keywords: movement, action, flow.
Lake/Pond Water - I find it good for connecting with nature or animals. Could be used in animal magic. Keywords: wildness, nature, hidden, isolation.
Swamp/Mud Water - good for curses, hexes, binding, wishing someone bad health. Keywords: disease, dirty work, sticky, messy.
Sea Water - good for protection, banishing and any form of spell that needs powerful but calm energy. Keywords: vastness, life, fear.
Dew Water - keywords: vulnerability, peace, refreshing, delicate, calm, waiting. Good for Fae communication or any creature that is elusive.
Storm Water - good for spells that needs a lot of power. Be warned though, itâs very different from the sea water; itâs uncontrolled, chaotic and doesnât last long. Thereâs a lot of anger and destructive energy.
Ice/Snow Water - keywords: endings, change, patience, harmony, growth.
Cemetery Water - good for necromancy, of course. You can put some in a spray bottle and spray it in a room in which you want to communicate with the dead.Â
Well Water - keywords: wishing, domesticity, home, family, community. Could be good for communicating with spirits/creatures living near or in your house.Â
Fog/Mist - keywords: invisibility, mystery, hidden, blindness. Spells including âclouding someoneâs judgementâ, those in which you want to stay anonymous as much as you can or those who will slowly start working over time.
