saying boys cant be lesbians excludes us

saying girls cant be gay dudes excludes us

Love, platonic or not, is vast and comes in many forms

For example I could’ve sworn I’ve seen that video—the one of the cat with the flower hat, moving its head to one of the most popular Leslie Gore songs—at least a million times

And yet I can’t help but smile and be filled with love when each of my friends sends it to me, because I know that they do it when they’re reminded of me. That they know I’d send them the same if I thought they might like it as well :)

Could you not tag "mlm and nblm only" if you don't want to include all nblm and your post isn't applicable to all nblm? It sucks that the nblm tag, which is supposed to be for everybody nblm, to be full of posts we aren't sure were meant for us.

Sometimes I reblog these posts just out of spite, because if they didn't want it reblogged by me they shouldn't have tagged it nblm.

Could you not tag something as for nblm, and then say "she/they dni" or "female-aligned dni". If you don't want certain nblm to interact, just find something else to tag it. It sucks to be told something is for nonbinary people, and then be excluded because you're not the right kind of nonbinary person. Also, its enbyphobic to call female-aligned nonbinary people straight women.

Just don't tag your post with nblm if it's only meant for one type of nblm.

I'm so done with binary people treating nonbinary people as "girl nb" and "boy nb", or invalidating the gender of certain nonbinary people by treating them as if they were women.

I want the nblm tag to be about the unique experience of being a nonbinary person attracted to men. No matter what kind of nonbinary person one is, their attraction is inherently queer, inherently a nonbinary person's attraction.

I want a space where I can find likeminded people talking about how our nonbinary identity influences our attraction, how a nonbinary person's attraction is inherently different from a woman's or a man's attraction. I want the nblm tag to be that, not posts about the mlm experience tagged with "mlm and nblm only".

Please stop. It's supposed to be our tag.

Things to actually help you when you’re poor (masterpost)

General tips:

Fetch Rewards- solid rewards point app that I’ve gotten two gift cards off of so far, all you do is scan receipts, works very well especially for dumpster divers if you gather random receipts

Online coupons!! Way easier to keep track of, you can pretty much Google anything and you’ll find some for what you’re looking for, especially on electronics

Speaking of electronics, go refurbished. Gazelle is a reputable site I’ve gotten a phone and an awesome ipad from

Try thrift stores first! It’s hit or miss but they have everything from power outlets to plates to furniture if you look in the right stores. Furniture is usually like $20 even for a whole couch and you can get really lucky some days

Sign up for rewards with places you frequent, some add up really fast like starbucks or jimmy johns

Use Venmo if you have to do online transactions, paypal has more fees

If you’re a college student, FILE YOUR FAFSA!!! Really important to get financial aid

Check if your area has food pantries or free clothing places. Again for students, bigger college campuses are likely to have food pantries for you and places to get professional clothing. Churches also run these kinds of places sometimes

Check your subscriptions and make sure you aren’t being charged for something you don’t use anymore (gym memberships, Apple subscriptions, prime….)

Check out things like afterpay if you need to make a big payment, be careful for high interests rates and make sure there’s enough in your bank acc on the day of loan return
