Prompt for The Quarry: Your two favorite counselors reuniting post-game
I'm gonna do rylan I have to
Ryan couldn't help but think about what he had said to Laura, about liking neither Kaitlyn or Dylan. He thinks about it as they drive back to the lodge.
"What's on your mind?" Laura asks from the passenger seat. "Thinking about your boy?"
Ryan sputters in confusion and she just waves him off. "I could tell by the way you said you were closer to Dylan. It felt loaded."
Ryan sighs, "Yeah I was thinking about him. Hoping he's okay."
Laura gives him a sympathetic smile. "I know how you feel."
Travis pulls the car up to the lodge and they all get out.
Ryan looks around, not even sure where to start looking for Dylan. Luckily he doesn't have to look far as the boy walks out of the lodge alongside Kaitlyn, Abi and Emma.
"You're okay!" Ryan says.
"Yeah, we're all okay," Kaitlyn says, her tone turning surprised as Ryan grabs Dylan and holds him at arms length, nearly bringing him in for a hug.
"Okay might be overselling it," Dylan says.
Ryan chuckles and pulls the man in for a hug at long last. He looks clearly surprised by the act. "Didn't know you did these," he says.
"I'm making an exception."
"Oh! I feel so special," Dylan said, only partially joking.
"I'm glad you're okay," Ryan said, holding him at arms length once again.
"You too, man. I'm happy to see you."
