people always make morgana a normal cat in persona 5 non-metaverse fanfics. stop doing this. morgana should not be a cat he should be joker's annoying younger brother who wears cat ears (but they are NOT cat ears, they are the ears of his epic OC Mona who is a PHANTOM THIEF and STEALS TREASURE) and who goes into Joker's room every night at 8pm to yell at him to read him a bedtime story before going to bed. It's also funnier this way because it means Ryuji has beef with an elementary schooler

Non-serious theory my caffeine fuelled brain blessed me with at 1am: Evan and Lucius are, in fact, not the same person.
Evan has been there since before the Thundermans moved to Hiddenville, which we know because Tyler mentioned that they had been friends since middle school. Not only is Lucius' superpower inconvenient for long term undercover missions, if his job was to watch over the Thundermans, what was he doing there?
A possible explanation would be that there might have been another undercover family living in Hiddenville before, since the hero's league also replaced the Thundermans immediately when they had to move. This, however, is unlikely, since Darcy mentioned that her best friend used to live in that house. While it's not entirely impossible that said friend was a superhero (and would frankly explain some stuff), it's overall rather unlikely.
In addition, Evan's personality drastically changed later in the series and especially that episode. In his previous appearances, he was clearly the socially unaware nerd character; meanwhile in the episode of his reveal, he's overall far more nonchalant and arrogant than he used to be. This could technically be explained by Lucius getting tired of this facade and mixing things up a bit, but now we have two hypotheticals, neither of which seem exactly likely.
So, what happened to the real Evan?
It's actually hinted at in the episode in question, when Kickbutt says that they'd never delete Cherry's memories because they're the good guys. The latter part is immediately debunked, but the memory delete is not brought up again. But since Kickbutt herself disproved her statement, it's not that far off to assume that the hero's league does, in fact, delete people's memories, just not in Cherry's case now that Phoebe got involved. Much unlike... you guessed it, Evan, who most likely didn't have a superhero by his side to protect him.
So in conclusion, the hero's league deleted the real Evan's memories in order to replace him with Lucius.
This is obviously a totally stupid way of going around the inconsistencies a majority of such series have, but it was still fun to think about.

Obanai: Mitsuri made me care about stupid things.
Sanemi: Like what?
Obanai: Family. Humanity. My well being.
Mitsuri: Don't forget Tomioka!
Obanai, gagging: Tomioka.

Funny enough, it's also one of the extremely rare cases where I, at no point, shipped my two favourites?
Like, that's a reoccurring pattern that applies to almost all my comfort ships/pieces of media I like somehow. Servamp. DQXI. Danganronpa. JSHK. BSD technically (it doesn't really count because I started shipping them before they became my favourite characters individually, but the pattern still applies). You know what, even the first part of Octopath.
But here? My two favourites are being shipped, I see it on my dash fairly regularly, and I totally see how it makes sense, but... no. Nothing.
I'm not really going anywhere with this, I just thought it's an amusing observation and wanted to talk about it
Octopath Traveler II may be the first piece of media I'm into in years where the thief isn't my favourite character by default and you'll never guess which one my mind picked instead.

Knowing the background, there's something really funny about how Arcanette reacted to Temenos's mistake from his chapter 1. This isn't even her faith and somehow she has to tell the inquisitor to do his job correctly. I hope Temenos made her suffer through every bit of her act just by being himself.

the downside to harassing a cat constantly is that you run out of ways to bother them. so sure she's "well socialized" but how am i supposed to get revenge when she is being SO so annoying?

This is something I'm seeing more and more on AO3 that I'd never seen when I first got into fandom stuff, so I wanted to find out how you all feel about it.
What are your thoughts about seeing posted fanfiction that isn't commissioned, where the creator says that they have never read/watched the source material? For example, someone putting out a fanfic for a show they've never watched that includes the tag Author Has Never Seen Suchandsuch.
