Hi so I read the childhood story of ace with y/n from a previous request and I loved it so much <3 I was thinking if you could create a continuation of maybe the both of them reuniting after y/n moves away? Sorry if it sounds a bit mundane I just love the story so muchh

So I'm kind of glad that you sent this request in, I've had so many ideas since writing it, like, this could go in so many directions. I hope you like it!

When he’d first found out that you were moving, he hadn’t been sure how to react. There’d been so many swirling emotions in him. Sadness, pain, anguish, and anger. How could you be leaving? You were one of only 2 friends. Why were your parents moving? Why did you have to go? Couldn’t his parents take you in? He couldn’t be separated from you. He’d suggested running away together. Afterall, you were both older, he could make that tree house he’d thought of, you were old enough to make sandwiches, he could get a job delivering papers or something. You two had made it about 3 blocks before your parents caught up to you and grounded you for trying to run away. His parents had convinced yours to let you see each other one last time on moving day. He almost hadn’t let you go. He didn’t want to let you go, but his mother convinced him that not letting go would make things worse. So he had, but not without a kiss on the cheek and elbow band that he always wore. He’d sulked for months after that, angrier than ever, something Sabo had picked up on immediately. He knew how much you meant to him, Sabo may have been his first friend but you’d been his first friend after he’d moved. You’d been close.

Ace sighed as he walked down the street, hands shoved in his pockets. It was your birthday, a day that was always hard on him. He’d been the only one at your birthdays, but neither of you cared. Since then, he still celebrated your birthday in the hopes that somewhere, you would somehow know that he was still celebrating you even if it wasn’t with you. He had years of birthday presents stacked up in his closet, mostly small things, a small plushie of your favorite animal, friendship bracelets, a picture frame and picture of you two, a necklace. He knew he probably wouldn’t ever get the chance to give them to you, but he couldn’t let you go, not yet. You’d been his first crush, you’d meant so much to him, and while it had only been on the cheek, you’d been his first and only kiss. He’d tried dating other people in high school, but that hadn’t worked out well. Heading home, he let out another sigh. He’d grab a pack of cupcakes from the store so he could ‘celebrate’ your birthday.

Looking around, you smiled slightly. The city had changed quite a bit since you’d moved, stores that had popped up or disappeared, parks that had been renovated, yet it was clearly still the same place you remembered. Parting from Ace had been hard. He’d meant so much to you. You’d sobbed for you didn’t even remember how long and had refused to talk to your parents for much, much longer. To the point where they’d become concerned that you’d stop talking altogether. You’d considered it, you hadn’t made any friends and barely talked in school. But you’d eventually decided to keep talking, you didn’t want to lose your voice, you wanted to be able to call out Ace’s name the next time you saw him. Even at that age, you’d decided that you’d do anything to see him again and that you would see him again one day. The day you turned 18 your parents had convinced you to stay long enough to graduate since you were already close to doing so. The day you’d graduated, they’d begged you to not up and leave immediately. You need a plan, they’d said. You need money. So many reasons to try and get you to stay. Your mother pleading with you, telling you how much she loved her baby girl and didn’t want you to leave. Not that it had stopped you, at least, not for too long. So for your birthday gift to yourself, you’d come back. You didn’t know where you were staying yet, you didn’t have a job yet, but that could all come later. You had the essentials and every dime of cash you’d gotten your hands on since your first job babysitting. Hopefully it wouldn’t take too long to find Ace, you might be able to convince him to let you crash on his couch for a little while. Though part of you worried that he wouldn’t, that moving away meant that you would have grown apart, that he wouldn’t care about you anymore. Walking into the supermarket, you decided to grab some cupcakes before looking for Ace. It was a special day and you were going to celebrate it. Spotting some cupcakes, you hurried over, reaching out to grab the package when your hand ran into another.

“Oh, sorry. I-” you looked up into familiar dark eyes, eyes that widened as they landed on you.

“Y-Y/n?” he asked in shock, not sure if he was seeing things. Your surprise morphed into delight as you threw your arms around him.

“Ace!” you cried out, drawing the attention of the entire store as you smiled and laughed. His arms wrapped around your waist, his own smile growing as he swung you around, careful not to knock anything over.

“Please tell me you’re back, not like, a couple of days, but actually back.” Ace said as soon as you were standing on your own again.

“Sort of? I don’t have a place to stay and I promised my parents that if I hadn’t found a job and a place to live in 3 months I’d go back, but-”

“Stay with me!” Ace shouted, cutting you off, once again drawing people’s attention, not that he cared, you were back. Giggling, you nodded in agreement, the both of you heading back to his place, completely forgetting about the cupcakes. Entering the apartment, the two of you laughed, catching up on the missed years. The two of you spent the rest of the day and a good part of the night catching up, telling each other stories and laughing with each other. Eventually, you’d fallen asleep together on the couch, too worn out to keep your eyes open any longer. It was nice to be back with Ace, back with your best friend and first crush. Neither of you had forgotten each other, your friendship, or your feelings for each other. And this time, you’d make sure nothing could separate the two of you.

This idea came from my own brain that is always getting distracted from stuff and zoning out

Summary: You just happened to be the Luffy version 2.o of the Strawhats.

Roronoa Zoro:

- Oh fuck, another Luffy?

- Yeah, Zoro can handle you. Well, barely.

- They can never control the overly active captain, and now how would they deal with you in the mix?

- All hell broke loose.

- You and Luffy would constantly be the first ones to get the WHOLE crew into trouble EVERY SINGLE TIME and Nami and Usopp are this 🤏 close to turning you guys in XD

- Yeah, but your mossy boyfriend would, thankfully, comes to your defense everytime this happens.

- As for Luffy? Well, Zoro let the others deal with him.

- Having ADHD since childhood, you have hard time paying attention to others. Not to worry cuz Mosshead here would be the one to pay attention for you two, well, sometimes.

- Ya know, cause he likes to get lost and napping with you.

- LMAO, I THOUGHT OF SOMETHING!

- I was about to end Zoro's part here but nvm that!

- One time, when you guys were running away from gigantic animals (can be in Skypeia or Little Island), you got distracted by a cute bunny so you decided to chase it instead of going back to the ship.

- So being the 'more' responsible in the relationship, Zoro went away to find you, just to get lost himself.

- The others have to go back and fetch you guys (mostly Usopp would do this cuz Nami and Chopper would always win in their Rock-Paper-Scissors game) lol

- So yeah, you + Zoro (with a Luffy on the side), everyday is a chaotic day with the Strawhats :D

Blackfoot Sanji:

- Sanji, my wonderful man!

- This dude is most likely one of the most responsible in the whole crew. Well, except when he's in his simp mode.

- Anyways-

- Sanji deals with Luffy's obnoxiousness with an ass beating. But with you? Oh boy-

- "Sanji-kun! Would you please tell Y/n to pay attention to our discussion???" Nami groaned, pointing at you with her thumb.

- However, Love cook is not paying attention to her (wow, shocker) nor the discussion, he was busy looking at you with that dopey smile of his as you run around catching butterflies.

- And when you got into trouble because of acting repulsively, Sanji would not scold you. He would, instead, baby you while the others would facepalm at the two of you. (They already taught Luffy a lesson, no worries.)

- Sanji could never scold you! But sometimes, he would, in a very light manner tho.

- "My love! Don't you ever do that again, okay? Because I don't know what would I do without you 🥺!"

- So, uhm, I take back what I said earlier. Sanji can be a bit irresponsible with you. But rest assured, he would definitely pay attention to things just for you~

Uhm, I think I have ADHD too??

favorite .。･:*:･ ace x reader | modern au

synopsis: you celebrate your birthday with asl and a seven-year-old luffy has all your attention

check out my birthday event!

1.9k words | no warnings | with portgas d ace (they/them reader) | ace masterlist

a loud crash of pans causes you to jerk up from your bed, the blankets falling off your body as you clutch your chest. the left side of the bed is empty, ace’s body warmth no longer taking up space, signaling he had been up for a while.

“shh, you’re going to wake them! luffy, put that down! the batter isn’t cooked yet.” a voice demands causing you to chuckle slightly before you crash back into your covers. sabo always forgets how loud his voice can be, and how close your room is to the kitchen.

“both of you need to keep your voice down, you probably woke them up!” ace scolds. following his reprimands, you can hear the beginning of luffy’s cries.

“ow ace! that hurt,” the 7-year-old screams. both ace and sabo begin to groan as they attempt to quiet luffy down but to no avail as you hear a soft knocking at your door.

before you can get the chance to say come in, your door is pushed open just a sliver and a small head of black hair peeks up at you. when you smile at him, his sobbing continues as he runs to your side of the bed crawling up the side so he can lay down next to you.

“y/n! ace hit me!” he cries, balling his fists up to wipe away his tears. you try your best to sustain your giggles, grabbing a tissue from your bedside table to clean off his face. “he’s a meanie head,” luffy whines, turning his head away in anger.

a short knock causes the boy to jump and hide underneath your shirt as ace gazes at you in defense. “i didn’t even hit him that hard! he’s being a baby,” he replies in defense, only his head visible from the crack in the door. “and hey! get your head out of there!” ace yells.

as a saving grace, sabo calls for luffy and like a switch turning on luffy jumps out of bed a giggling mess, completely forgetting that he was supposed to be getting ace in trouble. running in the direction of the door, he plows into ace’s legs causing the items in his hand to fall to the floor. the loud clatter that follows has all three boys pause in shock.

“fuck! luffy!” ace lowly groans, dropping to his knees which causes the door to open all the way, giving you a view of the accident. what you see before you were a wooden tray, now on its side on the ground, and various breakfast foods splattered against the tiled hallway and the bottom wall.

a hand reaches up to cup your face, both at the kind sentiment from your boyfriend and his family, and the mess that now was awaiting clean up.

“ace, why did you spill y/n’s breakfast?” luffy innocently asks which signals sabo to whisper something to the boy to remove him from ace’s current wrath. “oh that’s right!”

luffy disappears from your sight for a moment before coming back into the room, stomping through the spilled contents on the floor, with a balloon in his hand. once again, he runs all the way to your bedside with a wide grin on his face. “happy birthday y/n!” he smiles.

“thank you luffy,” you gush, picking him up in your arms and peppering his tiny face with kisses.

ace annoyingly stares at the two of you as sabo kneels down to help him clean up the inedible food while patting his shoulder. “don’t worry about it dude, we can just remake it,” he suggests, attempting to lighten the mood.

“yeah, and y/n can help us!” luffy cheers as you watch ace stare at luffy as if the small boy had the audacity.

“that was so good y/n! you make amazing french toast,” luffy compliments, licking powdered sugar off his hands.

“they weren’t supposed to make their own birthday breakfast,” ace grumbles under his breath while shoveling a spoonful of eggs into his mouth. you kiss your boyfriend’s cheek as you begin to clean up the plates and set them in the sink for washing.

“anyways,” sabo says, wanting to deter the conversation, “what else do you want to do for your birthday y/n? did you have anything fun in mind?”

you tap your chin, thinking for a little bit before luffy cuts you off. “i thought we were going to take them to a movie like you said sabo, and then go to that ice cream place they like?” he asks.

sabo’s mouth drops open slightly as he glances between you, ace, and luffy hoping that ace doesn’t burst into flames with how upset he is.

“luffy… that was supposed to be a surprise,” ace complains frustratingly, rubbing his temples in a circular motion.

“well, since the cat’s out of the bag,” sabo jokes earning an unamused glare from ace, “for your birthday i wanted to give you something real nice. i talked to my boss and i was able to get us a private screening of your favorite movie today!”

your jaw, along with ace’s, drops to the floor as you run into sabo’s arms, squeezing him tightly. “oh thank you, thank you, thank you sabo! this is the best gift i could’ve asked for!” you beam, sabo’s lighthearted chuckling following in suit.

“alright, alright. don’t start something you can’t finish,” he teases, patting your back, “it’s just a little something to show you that we appreciate and love ya.”

“yeah! we love you y/n!” luffy chants, marching around with excitement until you pick him up. you spin in circles with the young boy in your arms as your giggles fill the room.

“looks like y/n has a favorite, yeah?” sabo teases, patting ace’s shoulder as they both watch you interact with their baby brother. ace glares at sabo, his eyes piercing right through the blond as he hands him his empty plate.

“that movie was so funny!” luffy smiles, still chuckling as his tiny fingers grip onto your hand. following the illuminated pathway, the both of you exit the theater with your boyfriend and sabo following behind as the blond pats the back of his brother.

“didn’t even get to make a move, now did ya?” he jokes knowing that it couldn’t be truer as luffy sat sandwiched in between the two of you.

your boyfriend sees his chance when luffy becomes distracted by movie posters, too busy being entranced by the vibrant colors to continue the conversation.

ace tosses his empty popcorn bucket into the trash can, scooping up luffy in his arms and tossing him to sabo. his hefty arm laces around your waist as he walks the two of you out of the theater relieved, he had the chance to get a minute of your time today.

after a content sigh from you, he musters up some courage to ask a question that’s been on his mind all day. “so, how’s your birthday going babe? feel like eating something sweet now?” he asks, hopeful that this day wasn’t a total disaster for you.

before you can utter a single thought, luffy begins complaining once more. after a couple of hushes and some struggling noises, luffy pushes between you and ace, separating you once again.

“something sweet?! i want that too! ace, can i have it too?” luffy screams, causing that vein in ace’s forehead to throb once again as they round the corner to a small ice cream store.

“sure buddy, we’ll get you a cone,” he impatiently smiles, gritting his teeth together.

with his eyes sparkling, big and wide, luffy wrestles out of sabo’s hold making a mad dash for the shop. ace can’t even process his anger about having to chase after his dumb little brother as the three of you full sprint right after him. how a seven-year-old could run faster than three 20-year-olds were beyond any of you.

“and i’ll take another scoop of vanilla and then strawberry, oh and chocolate too!” luffy requests, smiling widely as the worker hands him a cone with seven scoops on it.

“that’ll be $15.50,” they say, watching as luffy points his small finger at ace who had just caught up to them, leaning against the counter heavy breathing.

“my brother will pay for it,” luffy assures, licking away at his cone without a care in the world.

“what the f—”

sabo trifles through his wallet, pulling out the cash for another scoop for him as well. “i got it, and a scoop of pecan swirl for me too,” he smiles, exchanging the currency for the treat to settle an unhappy ace. “how about we go sit over there luffy? give ace and y/n some alone time,” sabo insists, pushing the occupied boy to an empty table.

“no! i want to be with y/n! sabo—”

“luffy, i’ll give you ten dollars to shut up,” sabo offers, feeling himself reach his limit too.

“okay,” luffy smiles, slumping down in his seat and happily licking his ice cream. you giggle, but then drop your playful expression once you notice how tired aces is.

“one scoop of strawberry to share,” ace faintly grins, handing the man the change. offering you the first lick, ace gently pins back a strand of your hair. “i’m sorry i couldn’t give you more than an ice cream cone for your birthday,” he apologizes at a whispered volume.

you shake your head, disregarding everything he just said. “what are you talking about? this was such a wonderful birthday,” you argue.

“how could this be a great birthday? nothing went right today,” he sadly replies, his voice cracking throughout his sentence. his face droops into an expression that made it seem like he could cry right here in this ice cream store.

you glance down, grab his unoccupied hand, and take him outside the shop hoping that a breath of fresh air would help.

“why’re you saying that?” you coo, softly brushing your fingers against his freckled cheeks.

he sniffs, unable to look you in your face. “luffy’s your favorite,” he mumbles, almost ashamed that he was even admitting this to you. “and he got all your attention today,” he whines.

you can’t help but let the laugh burst through your lips, almost dropping your entire cone on the floor. ace pouts until you regain calmness, a red flush staining his cheeks while your hand flies to your chest for a moment. “you think that little booger is my favorite?” you joke as you both glance inside the ice store to see luffy throwing pieces of his cone at sabo.

you both chuckle as you kiss his cheek, “i loved how we spent today,” you clarify, “and you,” you say, poking his nose. “…are my favorite for going along with all the crap that happened. it takes a boyfriend with real willpower to endure luffy as much as you have,” you giggle causing him to do the same.

ace cups your cheeks, showering your face with many kisses until you’re as red as he is. “that is true, luffy is a handful,” he agrees as you watch luffy run outside to the both of you.

“y/n! ace! can i have another cone? it’s for y/n’s birthday,” luffy cheekily asks, bouncing up and down. the both of you share an amused smile, nodding your heads in unison.

“sure buddy, whatever you want.”

Movie Date with Luffy

S/O: Female

- Bored out of his mind, Luffy decided to crash at your place. Seeing that you're not home, he decided to raid your fridge, blasting some random song on your radio (yes, you have one)

- He did random things: messing with your clean bed, going through your closet and trying on some random dress (he even took a silly pic in your dress, posting it on his socmed account) and lastly, he laid down on your couch, a pizza on his mouth while watching some random animal documentary.

- While on the way home, you got a notification about Luffy's post. Smiling, you went to click it just to gasp at its content.

- "What the fuck is Luffy doing with my dress? Moreover, what the fuck is he doing at my house!" Agitated, you zoomed past the busy street and slammed open your front door, panting heavily.

"Yo!" Luffy grinned, scooping a huge spoonful of (Favorite Flavor) ice cream out of its tub. "Want some?"

You just sighed, dropping your belongings by the door and lazily sat beside your goofy boyfriend. "Yeah, gimme some, Luf." And then the black haired boyfriend gently shoved a spoonful of ice cream in your awaiting mouth.

"Yummy, right? Shishishi" Luffy laughed when a speck of the frozen treat landed on the tip of your nose. You couldn't help but laugh as you tried to wipe it off.

Luffy then suddenly leaned in and kissed the spot clean, making you gasp from surprise. He looked up innocently with a smile, which only caused you to blush more than before.

"Thanks babe..." You mumbled shyly before turning away towards the TV.

Luffy grinned at you before turning to watch the TV too, placing his head on your lap. "We should watch that movie."

You groaned. "That movie again? We already watched it for so many times already. Can't we watch a new one?"

Luffy shook his head. "No. It's too good. And this is gonna be our last time watching it together, I promise!"

You scoffed. "What if we just watched something else. Like an anime or something."

He thought for a moment before shaking his head. "No! I want to watch this!" He puffed his cheeks out stubbornly.

You rolled your eyes before giving up on convincing him. "Fine, fine." You huffed, crossing your arms. "We can watch some other movie next time."

Luffy grinned. "Really?"

Your lips curled into a slight grin. "Yes. Now come over here so I can have my cuddles." You poked his stomach teasingly causing Luffy to giggle. He happily moved closer to cuddle against you, resting his chin on your shoulder.

"This movie is really cool though." Luffy whispered as he continued to watch it.

You nodded in agreement. "'S pretty cool."

The two stayed like that, enjoying each other's warmth until the end of the movie, when Luffy was snoring lightly and fell asleep, you giggled and decided to turn off the TV.

You tried getting off the couch but your boyfriend's strong hold on you prevented you from doing so. So after a bit of trying, you finally gave up and decided to lay back down with Luffy, wrapping your arms around him and resting your head on top of his.

The two of you remained like that until you started to doze off, Luffy's calming scent and warmth lulling you to sleep.

"Love you Y/n...Zzzz"

"Love you too, Luffy."

Hey guys, it's been a while. Sorry for not updating for a long time.

I've been stressed lately with my schoolwork, especially with the exams. I didn't get much sleep because of those damn exams 😭, dammit.

And to think my efforts on studying would be such a waste, wtf.

I don't know anymore.

Maybe I really should've been carefully with choosing my Senior High Strand before. But no, I just have to be so freaking stupid.

Your face lighted up in excitement as Ace showed you one of his many fire tricks. He always did his best to surprise you with his powers - it was a useful exercise for him, always discovering new ways to use his power was something that came in handy during battles. But really, the main reason behind all that training was simply you.

He loved how happy you would get every time he showed you his new talent, how proud you were when he finally mastered his new attack. With you, Ace always felt seen, appreciated, loved - he would have done anything to impress you, to spend as much time as possible with you. And he did. Just like that, sporadic moments of "hey, y/n! look at this!!" became entire afternoons spent together trying to figure out exactly what he could or couldn't do with his powers.

"Careful! I don't want to burn you." Ace screams out as you got dangerously closer to the fire he held in his hands.

"This is so cool Ace! Don't you realise?!" you point, the flickering of Ace's flame reflecting your eyes. With a dazzling smile on your face, you cup his freckled cheeks in your hands and leave a gentle kiss on his cheekbone, excited about Ace's new accomplishment. Letting out a slightly embarrassed laugh, he quickly wrapped his arms around you, holding you closer to his chest and causing the two of you to lose balance.

Ace was still laughing as both of you were now laying down on the floor, you body on top of his. Placing your hands on his muscular chest, you held yourself up a bit to take a better look at him: how his raven hair spread above the floor, how nicely his freckles graced his face. You could feel his gaze almost piercing through you, his strong hands resting at the end of your back, holding you still. Every inch of you was connected with his, the warmth radiating from his bare skin extending to your body like the cozy heat of a fire place - he felt like home. As you lazily draw imaginary lines on his chest, softly running your fingers on his nude skin, you felt Ace's shivering, goosebumps slowly forming as you tailored your hands around his torso.

"What?" you ask naively.

Ace's licks his lips, tilting his head back, trying to find the right words - your body on top of his was driving him insane, every time you touched him he felt like his chest was about to explode.

"Please.." he plead, adjusting himself to look at you. Shifting his weight onto his elbows, he leans towards you, your foreheads now touching. Your hands instinctively reached for his hair, playing with the strands that framed his angelic his face. A clever smile appears on his face, as he brushes his nose against yours before kissing you softly, his lips tenderly exploring yours as he holds you close.

"You drive me insane.." he whispers, his lips still brushing onto yours.

Mystery Machine!!

Summary: High schooler Luffy, Nami & Usopp got dragged into a science-y mystery by their eccentric and also weird, science teacher. What would happen next?

“Yes!! School’s out! Woohoo!!” A raven-haired teenager named Luffy cheered as his two friends trailed behind him while shaking their heads. “Must you always say that every time?” Usopp, a long-nosed male, drawled out, tired of his friend’s shenanigans. Nami, an orange-haired girl, nodded with a tired sigh, agreeing with the long-nosed teen.

“Shishishi! Sorry!” Luffy laughed out with a smile, not looking apologetic at all. This irked the two. “Well, at least look like it!!!”

As the three walked towards the school gates, a voice stopped them. Curiously, they looked back just to see their science teacher, Mr. Ceasar calling out to them.

“You three! Come and follow me to the Science lab!” The odd request peaked the teens’ interests, prompting them to follow their teacher back to the school building.

As they walked after Ceasar, Nami whispered quietly to her friends. “What do you think he’ll make us do?” They thought about it before Luffy snapped his fingers, mouth grinning.

“He’ll give us food!!” The raven haired said, making the other two sigh, having expected this from the food-loving boy.

“Maybe we’re getting detention?” Usopp’s suggestion made Nami and Luffy shudder in fear. Having seen their fearful reactions, the long-nosed smiled sheepishly at them as he scratched his cheek. “Or maybe not…”

As the three continued to mull over their thoughts, they didn’t noticed that they have arrived at their destination. Ceasar opened the lab’s door before speaking. “Follow me.” The students gulped nervously as they followed after their teacher into the room.

Stopping in front of the wall, the adult placed his hand on it, as if searching for something. This intrigued the trio as they witnessed Ceasar pushed open a secret door leading to another room.

“Welcome to my super secret lab!!” Ceasar cackled, as the group went in the chamber.

“Whoa…” Nami gaped at the dim room, examining every detail of it. “I didn’t know there’s a secret room here?”

“Me neither.” Usopp agreed, gaping beside the orange haired girl.

While as Luffy ran around excitedly, shouting “Awesome!” and “Cool!” at the things that amazed him, which were everything. Ceasar grew annoyed at the boy’s antics, yelling at him to calm down. Pouting, the raven-haired teen obeyed, albeit reluctantly after the teacher threatened to put him in a detention.

“Now, I called you three here to witness my invention!” The science teacher announced happily before pulling off the cloth from the giant object in the middle of the room.

Lo and behold, there stood a giant machinery with a very complicated look. Awed, the three friends inspected it, pointing out the parts that stood out to them.

“It’s a Mystery Machine!!!” Luffy yelled out, waving his hands excitedly with sparkling eyes.

Nami and Usopp looked at each other with a raised eyebrow. ‘Scooby Doo?’ They both thought, watching as their overly-excited friend keeps on jumping around. Ceasar, once again, annoyed, shouted at Luffy and the others to stand by the sidelines.

“Now, where was I? Yes, of course! Now witness the greatest invention of all time-by yours truly- the Smile Cloning Machine!!” The teacher cackled, making the teens to sweatdropped at the odd name. ‘Smile?’

“Uhm, Mr. Ceasar? What’s a ‘Smile’?” Nami asked, interested at the cloning machine. Having expected the question, the eccentric teacher chuckled darkly. Like an evil scientist does. I mean, he is one.

“What’s a Smile, you say? Well, my dear students, Smile or as I called Smiley, is my beloved creature, of course!” While explaining, Ceasar took the said creature from a glass container and presented it to the three.

It had a pink jelly-like body and two glowing yellow eyes. It basically looked like what a slime does. This, of course, spooked out Nami and Usopp, while as it thrilled Luffy.

The teacher then put the Smiley (cell) on the conveyor belt of the machine. “Now, watched as the magic begins! Not that magic exists anyway…” Ceasar pushed a button on his remote control and the Smile Cloning Machine started working. The conveyor belt moved the creature into the machine.

The scientist then waved his students over to watched how the machine works.

“The machine (Cell Cycle) have two main parts (Interphase and Mitosis) and both have sub-stages.” The scientist explained, gesturing to the machine before them. “The first main part (Interphase) of the machine have 3 stages while the second main part (Mitosis) have four.” The Smiley then entered a section called G1.

“The Smiley (cell) first goes to the G1 (G1 phase), the cloning machine’s first part (Interphase), where it increases in size and also it’s nutrients (cytosol) because of the activation of the machine’s laser ray (Proteinsynthesis). G1 also checked the Smiley’s (cell’s) DNA and made sure they’re okay (DNA Integrity).” Ceasar stated, before continuing. “Also if the Smiley’s (cell) G1 phase failed, it’ll go through a small compartment, G0, (G0 phase) to improve and to be able to proceed to the next stage.”

Luffy, Nami and Usopp nodded in understanding, walking after their science teacher as they stood next to another section of the cloning machine.

“Next, the now bigger Smiley (cell) goes through S-Phase, where it’s genetic materials, DNA, gets duplicated/copied.” Ceasar explained, also stating that S-Phase is the longest process of the Smiley’s (cell) cloning (cell cycle). The three students watched in awe as the creature got zapped by different rays, closely paying attention to every detail of it.

The teacher then waved the three over to watch the next section. “G2 (G2 phase) is the final stage of the first main part (Interphase) of the Smile Cloning Machine (Cell Cycle). This is where the Smiley’s (cell’s) DNA replication and DNA integrity were inspected to make sure they’re complete.”

“Ohhh~!” Luffy leaned forward to see the Smiley, that was being scanned, more clearly but got pulled back by Usopp, who’s shaking his head disapprovingly at his antics.

The raven haired teen’s carelessness, of course, irked Ceasar, again. “Don’t suddenly just go closer to the machine! It might break!” He scolded.

This dumbfounded Nami and Usopp, as their eccentric science teacher cared for the machine more than their safety. ‘Typical…’

“Sorry!” Luffy just laughed while smiling sheepishly. His actions made Ceasar clicked his tongue in annoyance, dismissing his student’s reckless behavior before starting to walk again.

“This way, please.” The three friends, having no choice, followed him.

Nami groaned in exhaustion, “I wanna go home already!” Usopp and Luffy agreed with her but got silenced by their short-tempered teacher.

Ceasar once again continued explaining. “Now after being scanned, the Smiley (Cell) was then moved to the second main part (Mitosis) where the machine’s (cell cycle’s) 4 subdivision’s PMAT, begins. The Smiley (cell) was then moved to P1 (Prophase) where the jelly creature’s (cell’s) chromosome’s pair up.” Ceasar smirked as he eyed his 3 students gaping at the x-ray window where it showed how the Smiley’s (cell’s) chromosome being paired up. He snorted, “Kids.”

After P1 (Prophase), the group watched as the Smiley (cell) moved to M2 (Metaphase) section. “The Smiley’s (cell’s) paired up chromosomes then line up at it’s equator.” The students nodded at the scientist’s words, eyes still glued to the machine.

“Hey, those looked like the candy I ate the other day!” Luffy commented, referring to the chromosomes. The said boy then turned to their teacher and asked, “Can I eat those worm like-thingies? I’m starving!”

Usopp and Nami laughed when Ceasar hit their food-obsessed friend on the head. The long-nosed boy and orange head girl, still chuckling, moved after their irked science teacher. Luffy, getting left behind, pouted as he went after them, grumbling to himself. “I just wanted to eat…!”

“On the next stage, A3 (Anaphase),” Ceasar said while gesturing excitedly. “The little claws (mitotic spindles) separate the Smiley’s (cell’s) chromosomes and pull each strand apart!” He huffed, proudly boasting that it took him 3 months just to perfect A3. But the students paid more attention to the slime than to their prideful teacher.

After A3 (Anaphase), they moved onto the final phase: T4 (Telophase). In this, the Smiley (cell) got pinched into half by another claw (chromosomes reach to the poles).

“The original Smiley (cell) was now split into two (two new daughter cells)!” Finally, the conveyor moved them towards the end of the machine before stopping altogether.

Ceasar squealed happily, grasping the 2 Smilies in his hands, presenting them to the students. “The experiment has been a success!!” He laughed. Luffy, Nami and Usopp leaned forward, aweing at the jelly creatures. “Whoa!”

After that, the science teacher ushered the teenagers out of his secret lab. Nami, who had been curious from the start, asked, “Mr. Ceasar? Why did you wanted us to witness your Smile Cloning Machine (Cell cycle)?”

Said teacher just smirked at them, “Well, you were the first people I saw after the school bell dismissed all the students today.”

The trio sweatdropped as they were once again pushed out of the room and Ceasar slammed the door on their faces, leaving them dumbfounded.

“I’m hungry!” Luffy stated and started walking away. Nami and Usopp just shrugged before walking after their friend.

“Luffy!!” A voice called to the raven haired male once the trio walked out of the school gates. The friends looked to the side, seeing Ace (Luffy’s big brother) and Iza, a blonde girl and the freckled male’s (Ace) girlfriend, together walking towards them. “Oh, Ace! Shishishi!” Luffy laughed.

“Where have you guys been? School’s out, ya know?” The freckled male asked. His younger brother started telling the events occured back at Ceasar’s “super secret lab.”

The group then started walking home, Nami and Usopp occasionally correcting Luffy’s exaggerations to Ace and Iza.

“Wow…” Iza laughed, slapping Luffy’s back in amusement. “So Sissy (Ceasar) showed his machine to you too, eh?” Ace chuckled, nodding as he agreed with his girlfriend.

“Too?” Luffy, Nami and Usopp asked, all confused.

The couple, amused, told the three that Ceasar also showed them the machine before but it was still unfinished back then.

Ace decided to share his and his lover’s experience when Ceasar dragged them to his secret lab to witness his self-proclaimed greatest invention. Iza added that instead of working, the cloning machine exploded. The trio laughed at the couple’s story.

From the lab’s window, Ceasar gazed at the departing students, sipping on a glass of wine.

“Congratulations to me for creating the Cloning machine I always desired since I was a child!” He chuckled, reminiscing all the times he stayed late all night just to tend to the machine.

Suddenly a shrill scream broke out, making the teacher flinched in surprise. “What the?!”

“Go away!!” Teach, the school’s janitor, keep yelling at the weird slime creatures crawling on the floor. Ceasar gasped before going to fetch his dear creatures, cursing at his forgetfulness. “Oh no, my dear Smilies!!”

Napping together with Ace

S/O: Female

- Ace asked you out on a date. So naturally, you agreed

- But turns out, the rain wanted to intervene your first date with the freckled man! 🥹

- You were probably pouting on the couch all day long and was very sad that your date was postponed due to the storm brewing outside. You were really excited for this day but no! Stupid storm just have to ruin it! 😭

- "U-uh, Y/n? Do you mind letting me in? It's kinda freezing out here!" Gasping in disbelief, you bolted towards the front door, opened it and was shocked to see a shivering Ace with a bouquet of wet roses in hand.

- "C-can I come in?" The male smiled sheepishly, albeit his teeth were clattering due to the coldness.

- And of course, you let him in and helped him get dry.

"What were you thinking, Ace! There's a storm today yet you chose to continue the date?" You scoffed, angrily scrubbing the towel on the newly-showered male. "You could've gotten hurt!"

Ace let out a soft chuckle from where he was sitting on the couch, his eyes closed as he was enjoying the feeling of your soft fingers threading through his black hair. "Yeah, but I wanted to continue the date, not even a storm can stop me from being with you," he said quietly, his lips twitching upwards.

Your cheeks flushed a bright red and it took everything within you to hold back the words that almost tumbled from your tongue. He had a point there and if you were honest with yourself, you would've done the same thing.

"W-whatever! Just don't get sick, you idiot!" You snapped in embarrassment, walking away to wash Ace's wet clothes. A small yelp came out of your mouth when you felt something wrap around your waist and pull you close against a hard chest.

"Aw, are you mad, babe?" The ravenette chuckled, leaning down to place a light kiss on your temple, the warmth making you feel better. "Well I suppose it would be the best if we cuddle that anger away, right? What do you say, beautiful?"

You nodded slightly in hesitance and allowed him to pick you up bridal style before laying down with you on the couch. Despite the cramped space, Ace's warmth drew you in.

You two stayed together watching TV for awhile longer, Ace occasionally humming under his breath as he played with your hair while gently massaging your scalp. "So, Ms. Y/n, what can you say for our first date, hm?" The freckled whispered, braiding your hair with those long fingers of his. "Good?"

"No, it was pretty shitty. I was actually expecting to eat some good food but somehow a damn storm ruined it! Ugh!" You groaned, faceplanted on the hard planes of Ace's muscley chest. As for the male, he pouted.

"So you didn't like my cuddles??" He looked down at you in horror and sadness. You quickly turned and raised an eyebrow.

"Of course not! I love cuddling with you but I really wish you'd think about how fucking stupid of what you did! Like, how could you be so reckless! It's dangerous to be outside in the middle of this storm! Especially without a jacket or umbrella!" You gritted out, poking his chest as you punctuated each word.

"But look at us now, babe!" Ace smiled, grabbing onto your hand and bringing it up to his cheek. "We're cuddling and you still like me!" He laughed triumphantly, causing you to roll your eyes and push him playfully.

"I guess you have a point there." You mumbled under your breath, turning away to look out the window to try and hide your embarrassed blush. And after a minute of comfortable silence, you spoke up again.

"Hey, Ace?"

"Hmm?"

"Did you mean what you said earlier? When you told me that you wanted to be with me?"

You were afraid of the answer you might hear. Sure, you knew that Ace liked you a lot, even going as far to declare that he loved you at one point. You didn't doubt that part of the confession but... You have this nagging feeling that he just pitied you.

When you didn't get a response, you looked up and saw that Ace was staring you with half-lidded, loving charcoal eyes. You frowned. "Are you okay?"

The freckled male seemed to snap out of whatever thoughts had taken over his mind and turned his head to smile softly at you. "I'm fine~" He hummed, placing a gentle kiss on your forehead. "Just thinking about how lucky I am to have someone like you by my side."

You blushed and buried your face into his chest, trying to hide your embarrassment. "Stop saying cheesy shit like that, you dork." You muttered, though you couldn't help but smile.

You heard him giggle as he pulled you closer to him. Your heart fluttered a bit and you closed your eyes to savor the moment.

"I love you, Y/n. And I will always be here with you," Ace whispered softly into your ear as you slowly drifted into sleep.

"Love you too, Acezzz..."

The freckled male laughed quietly as you struggled to open your eyes and mouth just to reply to him.

Summary: You were a new member of the Strawhat Pirates, even though you were just 14. Even so, your crew accepted you like their own family (⁠◍⁠•⁠ᴗ⁠•⁠◍⁠)⁠❤

Roronoa Zoro:

- Zoro is indifferent when you showed up one day, Luffy carrying you like a sack of potatoes (is that how you use that lol).

- I mean, Luffy usually bring weird beings on the Sunny so yeah, it's pretty normal to see the goofy captain carrying a normal looking teen

- Though he was skeptical and a little suspicious when Luffy announced that you would be a new addition to the crew.

- You're 14?? You're 3 years younger than Chopper! You're too young to be a pirate!

- Zoro tried to talk about it to Luffy but the latter just dismissed him with a laugh.

- Guess he have to stick with it now, it's Captain's orders after all.

- At first, you look like hesitant and uncomfortable with the crew but over time, you were bonding with them like you know them for a long time. Except for Zoro

- You always tried to approach him but it seems like he's still a little suspicious of you so you were dejected, thinking he's mad at you. Nami and the others always scold him for his unsual cold demeanor towards you.

- When it has been a year after you joined the crew, you decided to give everyone friendship bracelets you have made.

- Everyone was ecstatic, wearing their respective colored bracelets (Luffy-Red, Zoro-Green, Sanji-Blue, Nami-Orange, Usopp-Yellow, Chopper-Pink, Robin-Violet, Franky-Light Blue, Brook-Black, Jinbe-Teal)

- When you handed the green bracelet to Zoro, he didn't bother to hide his surprised expression.

- "You're giving me one, too?" You just laughed at his "(⁠‘⁠◉⁠⌓|’⁠)" face

- "Of course! You always helped me carry heavy stuff around the ship, protect me from the enemies and even give advices to me when I train! Thank you for everything, Zoro-nii!"

- "Pirate Hunter" Roronoa Zoro has never blushed tremendously until that very day.

- Heck, everyone in the crew always giggle whenever they tease Zoro about it.

- Ya'll can always see the bright green jewelry wrapped around the big and tough swordsman.

- One time, a dumb Marine laughed at him for it and Zoro shuts him up with a slash on the face.

Blackfoot Sanji:

- You're a new member of the crew? Guess there's more mouths to feed, Sanji mused.

- Sanji was very wary of you at first, thinking that you might backstab everyone when they're not looking.

- But you're clumsy and innocent self dismissed those suspicious thoughts the cook have

- Gradually, Sanji mellowed a bit when it comes to you. And when you showed him your cooking skills? Oh my!

- "This looks... nice?" Sanji chuckled nervously, nudging at the weird looking food with his fork. He sniffed at it, curly eyebrows raised in surprise. "What... It smells good?"

- You huffed at him and decided to shoved a spoonful of your cooked meal into Sanji's mouth, taking him by surprise.

- ✧⁠\⁠(⁠>⁠o⁠<⁠)⁠ﾉ⁠✧ was literally his reaction towards your food

- You and Sanji technically became besties after that, talking and arguing about what the crew should eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner plus the in-between snacks.

- Unlike Zoro, Sanji doesn't mind if you're just a 14 year old. Though that doesn't mean he won't protect you and the ladies from harm!

- And when you gave Sanji a blue friendship bracelet, he was gushing at it like a little kid.

- "No one gave me something like this before!" He exclaimed with a charming smile.

- Expect to have the most delicious meal of your life after that 😉

Monkey D. Luffy:

- He see you. You see him. He smiles at you. You smile back at him.

- And in a blink of an eye, he's all over you, insisting that you should join his pirate crew, jumping around like a monkey.

- Overwhelmed, you thought about it for a few seconds before agreeing with him.

- And in another blink of an eye, you found yourself on the Thousand Sunny.

- Well that was fast, you gawked in disbelief, looking around the layout of the ship as Luffy toured you around. Afterwards, you came face to face with an equally overwhelmed crew.

- "Guys! This is Y/n, our new crew member! Shishishi!" Luffy presented you proudly. (You know that Will Smith meme? Yeah, that's the one)

- "H-Hi...!" You shyly waved at your gawking fellow crew members and in another ANOTHER blink of an eye, you found yourself being swarmed with curious questions.

- While you were being interviewed, you can see Luffy jumping around outside of the human circle formed around you, trying to get everyone's attention by shouting XD

- After settling down, you finally learned about everyone's name properly and thankfully, ya'll get along pretty well.

- Chopper would definitely get you to call him Chopper-nii, like a certain Rabbit Mink would.

- Not only Chopper, you also called everyone else your big brothers and sisters. Even Luffy who sometimes act like he's younger than you!

- Several weeks have passed and you decided to give everyone colorful friendship bracelets to show them how grateful you are for their warm acceptance.

- And let's just say Luffy treasures his red bracelet just like how he treasures his strawhat 🥰

Bonus!

+ Luffy tried making you a friendship bracelet but to no luck, so instead, he gave you this rare bug he found (like the one he found in Jaya). You decided to keep it as a pet, although you were hesitant at first but you came to love the bug in the end.

+ Luffy told you its name was Meat so Meat it was XD

+ Your favorite hobby was to nap with Luffy on the lion figurehead during a sunny day (⁠ ⁠◜⁠‿⁠◝⁠ ⁠)⁠♡
