a/n: been thinking about basketball player eren (x reader) way too much recently so i just wrote this really quickly. this is TERRIBLE and i also have no knowledge of the technicalities of basketball so please bear with me lol
basketball player!eren who has always loved the game, would be on the court all day everyday if it was possible
basketball player!eren who got recruited for his high school basketball team after the coach watched him complete ten 3-pointers in a row with perfect form. he goes on to become the team’s captain and takes his team to the state championships. he’s named mvp at the end of his senior year.
basketball player!eren who decides to play for the german national team for a year to take some time away while still being able to play.
basketball player!eren who got drafted first round, first pick overall in the nba. so many things blinding his vision, the bright lights, his family hugging him, the prospects of the million dollar contract fogging his mind, and yet all he can think about, the most thrilling of his thoughts were reserved by visions of you. the stranger he had bumped into in the grocery store. were you watching? were you proud of him?
“im so sorry,” he said with the doppiest of smiles, completely entranced by this beautiful stranger in from of him. after a few moments of silence and contemplation in eren’s mind, he goes for it. “hi, im eren,” he reluctantly lends his hand out for you to shake. his hand was so big, albeit a little dry and veiny, it enveloped your hand in a soft warmth. little did you know how hard you guys would fall for each other
basketball player!eren whose team trains on the other side of the country, who makes as many trips to see you as humanly possible. even when exhausted from training, after a close game, he trudges his way to the airport, the only fuel in his body being the affections he holds for you. he arrives to your apartment in the eery hours of the early morning, and quietly slips into bed next to your sleeping body. so calm, so soft and sweet he feels when with you, such a contrast to when he’s on the court.
basketball player!eren who’s financial priorities seem to lie with funding your passions and endeavors. he cares little for the gold chains and sports cars, all he cares for is to see your smile, to see you happy and content, to see you motivated and ambitious. his financial advisors hate him for it, but he could care less. “why don’t you invest? maybe buy a percentage of this team?” they ask while he waves them off.
his first purchase on his first paycheck was spent on taking you to a nice restaurant in the hopes that it be sufficient in expressing his gratitude for you. it’s nothing too crazy because he still doesn’t understand just how much money is on his hands, still a family boy at heart who prefers the modest family house and meals made by his mom over the hyper modern houses that his teammates seem to be buying left and right.
basketball player!eren who is the epitome of human physical greatness, with some of the highest records set in basketball history. the god-like body is just a result of his rigorous regiments, and you know people are drooling over him. it makes you insecure sometimes, with the horrible reputation the nba holds, and knowing just how amazing of a catch eren is. with him being away so often and knowing how he prefers to keep your relationship more private, it makes you think of the worst,
when eren receives your texts about wanting to talk, and how you’re not sure about this, he sighs a breath of sadness, sadness over the fact that you’ll never know how much he likes you, how utterly obsessed he is with you, how happy you make him. you’re the only one for him; ‘if it’s not you, it’s nobody’ he tells you quietly.
basketball player!eren who wins his first nba championship and subsequently his first championship ring. his team goes to the local club to celebrate, with copious amounts of money, alcohol and beautiful women. but eren seems to be missing. in actuality, he had ignored and rejected all of his teammates’ efforts to convince him to go out and went straight home to you. he’s so tired but when he gets to you, he shows you the ring and has you try it on. it’s so sparkly and heavy, your finger dripping with white gold and god-knows-how-many diamonds.
the sight of you with a ring on makes eren resume his thoughts about buying a different kind of ring for you, one that would actually fit your finger, one that would symbolize something much greater and sweeter than a championship.

They got their Ph.D-MD in biomedical sciences and genetics. They wanted to be able to clinically practice and still do research, since that’s where their main interest lies.
And honestly? They thought that it would be a fun challenge to get the degree and work towards it. Even now, they still find it to be fun, challenging, and rewarding. And yes, they do make Levi and everyone refer to them as Dr. Hange Zoe for a solid month after graduating.
Languages come very easy to Hange and they like to study them in their free time. So, Hange is multilingual! They’re fluent in English, Turkish, and Greek. They’re currently intermediate in Arabic, and are starting to learn Mandarin! They tend to switch between languages without fully realizing it.
They will absolutely hit on you and flirt with you in those languages if you’re dating. They’re also notorious for teaching you things that aren’t actually what you asked to learn. Mostly dirty talk instead of sweet things.
Even if you've been together for over ten years, they never stop flirting with you.
They're big on calling over texting. However, if you don't pick up their call, they just send you an audio message instead or they send you a video of them talking. They do this even if they're in public and it's just them cooing and telling you how much they love you.
Sometimes you need to physically put Hange to bed because they will just… not sleep. They’re used to the little sleep that comes with being in med school, and then going through residency and now as a full fledged doctor. So, they never know when they’re actually in need of rest. You have to wrestle them away from work and tuck them in for them to get the message.
Levi has been trying to break their addiction to coffee and energy drinks for a while now.
They are notorious for misplacing their glasses, so they have so many spares. Even their friends have spares of their glasses around their place.
Their favourite genre of music is pop music from 2005-2012. Especially Ke$ha.
Being their partner means that you’re both subjected to Hange’s teasing and pranks as well as expected to join in on tormenting Levi, Erwin, and Moblit.
If you both decide to get married, Hange keeps their ring on a necklace around their neck since they work with their hands so much. They don’t want to risk losing it or ruining it.
Hange gets weirdly heated about shows and commercials. And for the dumbest reasons. “Who the fuck would spend that much on yogurt? Why is she so happy? No one is that happy when eating yogurt.” like, Hange, babe, please calm down, it's just a commercial.
They’re allergic to shellfish.
They love in words of affirmation, and like to be loved in acts of service and quality time.
Hange loves to squish your cheeks. Just grabs you between their fingers and smushes them. Always presses a kiss to your lips when they do that.
Big fan of doling out forehead, temple, and cheek kisses.
Hange loves PDA. They will always hold your hand, have you hold their arm, wrap an arm around you, and even press kisses all over your face.
Once, they left a strap-on in their desk drawer when they knew Levi was coming. They asked him for something in the drawer, and absolutely lost it when they saw the colour drain from his face when he was face to face with their yellow strap. Replied with a quick “Sorry - my partner was here earlier. You know how it is.” with a wink. Levi has never recovered from the trauma.
They have two separate Instagram accounts. One is for private that’s not associated with their name or anything, where they share weird memes and pictures of the two of you, and one is for more professional reasons.
They really like it when you come to visit them in their office/at work. It makes them so giddy. Spend lunch with them and they’ll be over the moon for weeks.
They keep a picture of you two on their desk and gush about you whenever someone asks who is in the picture with them.
Though they’re a bit forgetful for dates, since they have so much on their plate, they always put a great deal of effort into their presents and plans with you. Perhaps they forgot Valentine’s Day, but you can expect to be celebrating a week later with an elaborate day/night planned.
They are notorious for never throwing things away. They will just keep boxes, mementos, scraps of paper, etc. because “what if I need it in the future?”

Thinking about Attack on Titan ending brings me so much pain in my chest like i feel my heart physically clench😭😰. I’m so sad cause I know i will not be happy with the ending😕😕 like im so scared that I haven’t been able to watch the last 4 episodes, I actually went back and started rewatching it again from SEASON 1 EPISODE 1!!!!!! And now im on season three😭😭
Dont even get me started on Eren, everytime he says something a part if my soul is sucked out of me. He makes me so sad😭😭😭😫😫😫😫 Everything makes so much sense and I just want him to be happy thats it💀💀💀
