that is the sweetest compliment ever !! thank you sweetheart, i appreciate it so much<3 ben is one of my faves! i kind 'f strayed off a bit i feel but i hope you enjoy :)
he doesn't wear the hat all the time i swear
i just don't think it's all that comfortable for him to wear (why does link wear it at all??)
i know canon he's pictured as majoras mask link but i picture him more hyrule warriors link
his hair is a bit more ashy though, not like a super-pigmented blonde
only wears the outfit while on hunts, does NOT clean it either
probably sticks w green colours but also stupid graphic tees (see; jesse pinkman outfits)
eyes don't consistently bleed but like atp its stained there
i mean he could wash his face but.. will he??
with all of them, they can have pretty violent mood changes but i think honestly ben is on the more mellow side
yes he's been through some shit, but he's had a lot of time to come to terms with it (barely aging does that to 'ya)
i think he like ages super slow btw so he's not like 8 forever lolz
but on average he's pretty decent with emotions n shit
still has bad days but handles it better than some of the others do
bad nightmares tho which he does not handle well
very observant, always looking out for people
more of a show not tell guy?? if he notices that someone hasn't eaten then he'll hand them smth silently yk?

Hand stilling for a moment, Helen's brows slightly furrow together in confusion.
"A worm..?" he questions.
Replying with a chipper "yea" they sit behind him on his bed. "Like, if I was a worm, would you still be with me? Or would you break up with me?" He places his paintbrush down and spins around to look at them. "Uh. Probably not." They pout at his response, opening their mouth before being cut off with a laugh.
"I'm joking. I'd find some way to be with you still, though I'm not sure how it would work"
He seems to ponder it for far too long, thinking of how it would work out. "Hm, maybe I could make you a habitat out of one of your cute tins." :)

-aaa of course !! i love jeff and toby so much
for my canon, I like to think that i just kind of make the characters more real. For most of their original canon stories, or for the fanon versions of them, their characters are made to be just killing machines with a little bit of angst and the story of whatever caused it. I base them off my favourite versions of their stories (or combine), but i give them flaws and little quirks that make them into an actual character rather than a person. I also try to write in how they are all traumatized people because thats usually brushed off. I wouldn't mind going into more detail if you'd like :3
jeff the killer
incredibly close with liu before everything went down, now he just feels guilty being around him
hardcore metal and punk fan. Screeching Weasel, Benighted, To The Grave. stuff like that
Has night terrors. Rooms with Ben because he's the only one who can calm him down when he awakes.
Soft spot for animals (usually prefers cats but doesn't say anything to Smile)
Grew up in a very strict catholic family
Is the self-proclaimed "white boy" of the mansion but is hispanic
Pushes his emotions away until something really triggers him
When he finally gets triggered, it does not end well
Full breakdowns. Rage, Depression. He goes through all of it in the span of like 2 days.
Everyone gives him space except Ben

- I am SO glad someone wants stuff for helen, i have got so much written about him. I don't have many headcanons for silver, so I've decided not to write him at the moment. Feel free to send in another request for him and i'll get to it though !
Helen is a severe insomniac

I think painting started as a hobby for him but eventually turned into a coping mechanism

absolutely hates silence but too much noise irks him

really close with Jason, they're in each other's room often just watching the other do whatever

Hello! This ended up becoming a LOT longer than I had meant for it to, I apologize.
I think Ej and Toby are the most powerful of the creeps. Both are insanely clever and I don't think they get enough recognition for their abilities. Though it depends on what versions of their stories you read or consider canon, I know that there are a few tales of Ej killing a cult group of over 100 people. Plus his medical knowledge of course. Toby is a smart kid and knows how to get what he wants. For my personal headcanon, he is still able to pass as a teen well into his older years and can be highly charismatic which could aid in manipulation. Along with him seemingly holding no mercy towards people and his loss of pain. So I think the two of them are the most powerful. Besides slender of course.
As for the Zalgo war, I could see it going both ways. I think Zalgo is an incredible villain, with practically unlimited abilities, but I don't think that his "followers" are truthfully very loyal to him. Most were only there because he gave them a place and only stayed out of fear, I don't think they would lay their lives down for him. Slender, on the other hand, has a significantly higher amount of people, who seem to be very loyal and willing to risk their lives for him, and each other. The war could go either way, but my bets are on slender.
As for Ben, I don't believe he would be a spy for Zalgo. He has too much at the mansion that I don't think he would leave it. The mansion holds a home for him. A family. The most he could get from working for Zalgo would be some kind of power, but I don't think he would go for it. Out of everyone, I think Dark Link would be the most likely to spy for Zalgo.
And my fave creep is probably Helen or Cody!!

I've already said this, but spaghetti is his main comfort food
likes doing the most random-ass experiments on people, even if he knows the outcome already
takes walks around the mansion very often, it's calming for him :)
he's very good at reading people
adhd central
get's along with kagekao very well
suprisingly sarcastic
has a lot of scars n scratches bc hes v clumsy
band/theatre kid energy
likes watching the bill n ted movies for some reason
along with that, he likes unrealistic movies a lot
plays fortnite (he just likes the characters)
get's rlly excited abt things quickly
but also gets emotionally distant quickly
almost killed masky on accident I think it was an accident??
doesn't get emotional much
has taken a great liking to seedeater, n often makes food for him. he doesn't know seedeater eats kids lol
has a slight lisp, hates when people talk about it
has heterochromia :)
fairly short, but still taller than ben

- ahh here you go !! you didn't specify what type of headcanons you wanted so i just did general ones, i hope that's okay :)
idk if it's canon or not (i don't remember much of his og story) but i like to think his eye colour changes depending on his emotions. they stay in similar colours to yellow but would change slightly orange if he's mad, etc.
he acts fairly rude n reserved to the creeps, but will 100% be sweet if someones sad
his eyes are sensitive to light so i usually only leaves his room at dawn n later
probably listens to set it off
likes games that make him really think (poker, chess, etc.)
takes something small from his victims' rooms. he doesn't know why. jane thinks he does it so he remembers his victims, incase their families forget them
get's along with jane and kage very well
likes apple juice
can and will be an asshole if you get on his nerves
him and lulu watch howl's moving castle alot
hums to himself when he's bored
people think he would be a mature person, but he does the absolute dumbest shit
has so much dirt on people it's scary
he forced himself to forget most things about his past self, and often goes into breakdowns when asked questions he doesn't remember the answer to
even though he's very reserved, he doesn't like being alone because it makes him feel empty
cries over songs from flatsound, crywank, and panucci's pizza even though he doesn't usually relate to them. it's just that the absolute raw emotion in their voices hurts him
has a hard time processing his emotions n often feels them so aggressively in his body but he can't do anything about it (i explained this so horribly ebufwsigtef)
really prefers to talk things out instead of using violence, but usually throws the first punch

- aka just a few headcanons i have for the creeps. i’d be glad to go into more detail on some if you’d like :)
ben actually, really likes baking. contrary to popular belief, it gets tiring having the ability to cheat on things all the time. n since you literally cannot cheat at baking, he finds himself doing it quite often. (ej once caught him, n actually ended up helping, n they're kinda like baking buddies now :))
toby hates waffles. they spark a traumatic reaction from him because they bring up bad memories. when toby first came, they didn't know about his reaction. as soon as he saw the food, instantly went back in his room. he locked himself in there for a while. nobody knows what happened
lazari has social anxiety, n she doesn't often talk to other creeps besides slender and sally. on a good day, she'll talk to helen or lulu :)
lulu likes classical music, her favourite song is 'Clair de Lune, L. 32' though she also enjoys the howl's moving castle theme
helen n jason sometimes work together on things. it's nice bonding time for them. occasionally, jason will even let helen paint a toy
liu n sully have a small house outside the mansion. sully doesn't do well in the mansion when he's upset, so he goes there. it's actually a very lovely place
cody's comfort food is spaghetti. he has no idea why
clockwork likes to play otome games just to purposely get the bad endings.
ben glitches when his emotions are very strong. (happy, sad, angry, etc) he's even slightly teleported before
jeff has night terrors. he rooms with ben a lot because of it. nobody but ben n slender know
masky actually has a really good sense of humour. he get's along with a lot of the creeps because of this
jane is horrible with her emotions and often bottles them up. this often leads to panic attacks and manic episodes
nina doesn't like dressing as feminine as she does all the time, but she feels it's the only way she'll be seen as valid.
toby likes collecting things :) he has a bunch of little collections
hoodie's insecure abt his height :(
