Beautiful Ones is a song about fiercely expressing romantic , devotional love you have for someone. Beyonce gives full justice to the song, by singing it flawlessly and energetically.
When I first listened to this song, I soaked it up and felt a longing for someone I could dedicate this kind of fierce devotion and love to.
But after a few listens, here’s what happened. Whenever I listen to it,
The song first gets me in touch with my own, driven, devotional side.
Then I’m filled with a powerful feeling of trust that this thing Id devote myself to is so close within my reach, its almost as if its within me. And soon enough I close my eyes and get lost in meditation.
Meditation is powerfully calm awareness.
Its more powerful than any emotion or thought.
Many more such songs make me feel this way, and I dive into meditation.
The fierce song with aggressive high pitches and a lot drum work effortlessly turns into something as steady as a flowing stream, perfectly whole, in its flawless realization of life.
I end up feeling like i took a dip in truth.
Its very humbling.

UTOPIA
by Bjork
‘Bird species never seen or heard before The first flute carved from the first fauna
Utopia (It's not) Elsewhere Let's purify
You assigned me to protect our lantern To be intentional about the light
Utopia It isn't elsewhere It, it's here
My instinct has been shouting at me for years Saying let's get out of here Huge toxic tumor bulging underneath the ground here Purify, purify, purify, purify toxicity’
Paradise to me is a state of mind and place that never ceases to grow. It’s an everlasting, abundant place of creativity, life and peace. It’s the state of mind that occurs when I’m listening to a meditative piano composition, an unshakable state of mind, intense with peace.
Paradise is a place where I need no food, or water. I need nothing.
Bjork gives me a glimpse of such atmospheres so well with her ingenious art.
Its almost as if she gives birth to music itself. She combines so many different kinds of elements of music and sounds in her songs. This particular song, Utopia, not just offers great music and lyrics, but she’s done a spectacular job with the music video too.

Why can’t we be friends? (x4)
I see you walking down in Chinatown
I called you but you could not look around
Why can’t we be friends? (x4)
I paid my money to the welfare line
I see you standing in it everytime
Why can’t we be friends? (x4)
The color of your skin don’t matter to me
As long as we can live in harmony!
It’s time to watch this movie again and bawl my eyes out. Movies don’t usually make me cry, i bawled forever watching this one.

If you ever feel distant from yourself, watch this ferociously uplifting clip from Pose.
This show, was heartbreakingly gorgeous. Elektra’s motivating confidence, Blanca’s fierce motherly warmth, Pray Tell’s wit and charming energy, Angel in all of her soft femininity , Papi and Angel’s true love, Papi’s commitment to Angel, every character is glorious.
The ballroom glamour, the celebration of all body types and talents, everyone’s fierce commitment towards their dreams, the fashion, the love, the heartbreak, the pain, everything was brilliantly perfect!
Not to forget the music!!!
And the songs featured! Whitney Houston’s “My Love is Your Love”
Aretha Franklin’s “I Say A Little Prayer”

Fasting vs Feeding
I write under this title, not just about feeding oneself with food, but with anything.
It could be your daily habits, it could be taking in sunlight, enjoying a movie, enjoying someone’s company.
We’re mortal, and we definitely cannot not feed ourselves, but there’s a certain peace, you can feel, when you do fast from as many things as possible.
Check your lifestyle. What are the little things that you think you can’t live without?
Or what are the bigger things that you think you can’t live without?
Try eliminating as many things as possible, from that list of items, prepare your mind for the worst possible life you might lead. Perhaps you have a cake when you’re having a bad day. Eliminate that. You can still get through.
I’m not saying that enjoying the pleasures of life is bad. But holding on to them, and suffering if at all they’re not present isn’t good.
I’m not saying suffering because of something is bad either. But there’s a thin line between if something is worth going through all the suffering or not.
Hold on to the things, that are important in your life’s worst case scenario, and only hold on to things that give back the life you give them.
Cleanse yourself from every tiny item that is unnecessary.
Fast from as many things as possible, and simply watch your potential grow in multitudes.
Feeding your soul can be a very nice experience. Catering to yourself can be nice. But in the depths of motivation and will to do something, lies emptiness.
A good kind of emptiness. An emptiness that you can harness a lot of energy from.
The heavier your soul, the harder it gets to feel light.
Fast, take to cycles of fasting, at the least.
Feed your soul with things that are only necessary.

I listened to this song for an entire sixteen minutes. This is music that lifts you up from the world, and breaks all unhealthy ties, only if you are open to it.
This is music that makes you want to simply sit and listen, the weight of your emotions, slowly releasing.
Music like this is unheard of. I was disappointed to see that Tumblr doesn’t have a blog that appreciates Hindustani music.
It’s not just music that is wonderful about India. In my blog, perhaps soon, I’ll post about more things about India.
India is a struggling country, and its beauty sometimes fades into the background, when it feels like, for its people, that there are more important things to learn and do.
Humanity should simply not be put through such a fast paced, and stressful lifestyle.
Atmospheres that induce meditativeness, is of utmost importance right now, to humanity, and the rest of the world.
