okay it finally went through.... idk to tell you what it was but istg i have been doing captchas for the last 15 min, i'm over it. I suspect it was some problem with my adblockers bc i was submitting through firefox and captcha is in fact a data training machine. Anyways 🤞

I was just in the middle of typing up a reply to your other ask with instructions on how to email us your app LOL but I'm glad to hear it worked now!! Sorry for the trouble too and thanks for still applying despite the difficulties.

I am trying to apply (I know I know, last minute) but I am getting an error submitting the form saying try again later because I think there may be too much traffic on the form? 🥲

The forms are still open on our end and I've never encountered this error before so not sure what advice I can give in this case... maybe try on a different browser or device? If it still doesn't work, let us know again and we'll try to find an alternative!

hi! I saw in the carrd that this is a for-profit zine, does that mean the contribs make money from this?

That depends on how much we make from sales. Profits will first be used to produce all the items, then to cover full bundles for contributors. If it's not enough to give all the contributors a full bundle, they will have the option of paying production price for it. If there is still money left over after that, it will be divided between everyone equally!

hello!! I was just wondering, when applying for artist positions, do you count artistic nudity (with no sexual connotation) as NSFW? I have a few pieces in my portfolio with it and different people have different qualifications for NSFW, so just wondering!

You can include it but also write a comment on that in the notes section of the app so that we're aware!

Yes! But if you are accepted into the zine, we will require that you scan the artwork to a high resolution (300 dpi).
