“Thank you for today’s dinner! We had fun!” Lumine thanking Scaramouche as Ajax closed her door.
“Yeah, yeah whatever you said Lumine. Now go home safe you two, me and Mona have another plan to attend” Scaramouche pulled her by her waist, which made her squeal.
“Wait, we do?”
“Yes, we do” Scaramouche smiled widely, and Mona felt a cold breeze on her shoulder. “Are you cold? I can lend my hoodie if you want” Scaramouche proceeds to unzipping his hoodie and cover the girl as they are passing their goodbyes to the other couple.
“Thanks, Kuni” she gives him a little peck on his cheeks that’s made him a complete mess inside. “Come on, let's go now...” she walks towards his car and got herself in.
The man is still frozen, and his heart almost jumped out. Mona just kissed him, not exactly kissed him, but a peck is still something, right? He slapped himself into reality and then quickly get to the car, not wanting the girl to wait.

“Thanks for tonight, Kuni. It’s fun and I almost forgot about my finals” she awkwardly laugh.
“No problem, Mona. I don’t mind treating you once in a while. You also messed your diet like crazy... You need to take care of yourself too” Scaramouche then put his hand over to her thighs.
Mona squeals and stares at the man’s face in disbelief. "What are you doing, Kuni?! Do you have no shame?”
“But you didn’t push my hand away... I assume you like me, no?” Scaramouche smirks at the girl’s reaction.
“I don’t hate it...”
“So, you like it? Just be honest for this once, Mona” he caresses her thighs even more. “You know, sometimes, I just hate how I treated you”
“Is that so?” Mona hummed. “You finally realized that you had been treating your friends like shit?”
‘It’s not about them, it’s about how I treated you, Mona Megistus. I wish I treated you better than what I did this whole time...’ Scaramouche just sighed.” Yeah, maybe I did but you don’t you rephase them like that”
“Hehe... Funny to think that we actually are enemies and look at us now” Mona held the man’s hand who is resting on her thighs. “I actually don’t really care if you hate me, but for now, can we just stay like this? I just want someone to be near me, to listen to my bullshit, even though you have a very different opinion with astrology, but it would be better if we stay like this together” she then stares at their hands that are sticking together.
“Scaramouche, do you like me?” the question asked by the girl and he just grunts.
“I think you are okay, but you are still annoying with your stars and competitions”
“Silly me to ask that” she laugh and just stare into the driving man.
“You are quite a charmer, huh? No wonder the girls are all over you...”
“But I only look at you...” he muffles under his breath.
“Did you say anything?” Mona asks the driver once more.
“Nothing important, that’s for sure...” the man finally stopped his car and look at his date. “Come on, the stars tonight will mesmerize your eyes” he planted the sweetest smile on his face.
“How did you...” “No, shut up, I just know, okay? Come on, let’s take a seat outside”
Mona nodded and Scaramouche walked outside. He was still smiling to the girl which made Mona almost melt when he pulled her by his side. “No, shut up, again... Just don’t say anything...” Scaramouche pulled his cap to cover his blushes, hoping the girl didn’t notice.

“So, this spot is good for stargazing... Here, I brought a little something for you” and he handing over a can of Matcha tea to Mona. “You always carrying Matcha tea around the campus, so I thought you loved them a lot. If you really love them, I can bring some to you. Mother loves Matcha too”
“I don’t know that you noticed those little things about me, Kuni... Quite observant, aren’t you?” she teases Scaramouche again, hiding his face.
“You witch... I just think you are pretty, okay?”
“Eh?” Mona looked stunned.
A silent pause entered the room. Scaramouche just sighed.
“Yes, I think you are really pretty, stunning, beautiful, gorgeous... Yes, I think you are annoying, stupid, blunt and an absolute mess... who will try to get any close with someone like you?” he paused “A maniac, yep. And that manic is me, Raiden Kunikuzushi, the who stupid enough to fall to their enemy?”
Mona left speechless, she tried to say something, but the words stuck in her lungs. “I... Wow, Kuni, I really can’t say anything... “she awkwardly chuckled and Scaramouche only sighed.
“If you don’t like me, just say so... I can’t blame you since I treated you like shit before...” Scaramouche then stood up and lent his hand. “Come on, let me send you home. This is the least I can do”
“But Kuni... I... I wanted to tell you something first” she is fidgeting her fingers and give a puppy eyes “Please?”
“Make it quick, I don’t...” he sighed as he thought he was rejected “I just can’t hold my tears now” a stream of tears fell from his eyes. “The fuck is this...” he wipes his tears off and Mona reach out to his face.
“Stop with what you’re doing! Don’t pity me”
Mona then cupped his face, she gave him a genuine smile to him, and he was stunned.
“I never say that I didn’t like you, silly...” she chuckled. “But, your tears, it showed me how much you value me as a love interest? I don’t know myself, but for what I saw just now, it’s enough...”
“The fuck are you talking about, witch...”
“I liked you too, dumbass” she pulls him into a hug.
“I am offended that I only get a hug” Scaramouche slightly pushed Mona aside. “I don’t recall confessions only with a hug... You know that too, right?”
“Shut it, idiot! At least I confessed my feelings to you!” she crossed her hands, looking at Scaramouche, bashfully.
Scaramouche slowly pulled her hand on his. Mona stares into the deep violet eyes.
“Mona Megistus, from the first time I met you, you took my breath away”
“Ok, that’s a little overreacting” she chuckled “Shut up woman. Let me finish”
“I know I used to tease you with saying that the sky is hoax...”
“And they don’t”
“Mona, please let me continue... I will strangle you if you cut my words again”
“Ok, ok! Sorry ‘sir’!”
“Mona Megistus, from the first time I met you, you took my breath away. I felt like I struck gold for the first time. I didn’t bother to get to know you like a normal person. Well, I pretty much don’t have feelings, despite being a human. I just don’t know how to talk to people, okay?” Mona left a chuckle. “Yes, I said the stars and sky are hoax. I admit, I did say that. But do you know why I said that?’
“Just to make me mad?”
“No, because...” he cupped Mona’s cheeks. “My star is you, you are my sky, Mona Megistus. You are the one who shines than those things you called ‘stars’...” Scaramouche sounded pissed. “I love you, Mona... I really do...” he finally pulls Mona into a quick kiss, which Mona secretly waited.
“Raiden Kunikuzushi, I love you too...”

Today is the day. The day that Mona Megistus waited for so long. The day where their finals for the first semester were to be announce and the day to see if her efforts paid off.
Mona walks into the auditorium with the other scholars from different courses. Her eyes spark when the dean list is finally shown on the big screen. Obviously, Raiden Scaramouche got onto the list, he is well-known to be a genius after all. If his attitude matches his face, it would be a lot better. Mona stared at the smug nemesis who was smirking at her, admitting that he had won. Mona looks back to the screen to search for her name, Mona.
A little gasp left her mouth as she found her name was not included in the list but instead the professor's son, Michael, was on the list. She turns her vision back to Scaramouche who is still smugly smiling to her.
'This is not fair...' Mona thought, blaming herself for her failure to get on the dean list. 'But it can't be, right? Is my hard work just a waste of time? The professor might make a mistake when they are correcting the papers?' Mona bit her fingernails, anxiously. Without noticing the man's presence, Mona almost squeals as he pokes her cheeks.
"What do you want from me, Bowl-cut jerk?", Mona asks him, unamused.
A grunt escaped from his breath, "Where is your name, Miss Astrologist?" Scaramouche teases her but then stunned when she just hugged him tight. "Megistus, are you okay? All I'm asking is if your name was listed on the list" he comforted her by returning the hug and slowly turned away to see if her name was listed on the screen. His expression went indifferent when he saw another name than the girl's on the list for Astrology course. How can an overworking, bright student like her, especially Mona herself, fail to get onto the list? "Is this a joke?"
"Scara, can we go somewhere else? I don't feel well", without arguing with the sad astrologist, he picks her up, from her knees onto a tight bridal lift. She was flustered by the sudden sweet treatment, yet it is still embarrassing to be held sweetly like that in front of the other students. "You idiot! I order you to release me this instant!" she ordered but only replied with a soft hum.
'Wait, why is the mighty Scaramouche holding the hot babe from Astrology course that tight? Just look at him, holding her so close'
'Aren't they like enemies?'
'Lucky girl, I wish Scaramouche held me like that'
People whispering as the two of them quickly walk out from the auditorium. "Megistus, do you want to go anywhere? Come on, I'll treat you" Scaramouche ask her, still holding the girl tight to his chest, walking straight out from the academy to his car. Slow and careful, Scaramouche pulled the car door to put the sad Mona in his car, seating herself in the passenger's seat.
"Can we get something to drink? I think I need them now; this stupid semester messed me up" Mona groans and then pulls Scaramouche closer to her; which caught him off guard.
"Megistus, what are you trying to do now, huh?"
"You are my enemy; yet you are the one who came to comfort me. Why? Why are you being so nice to me?" Mona stared into the male's eyes, pleading for an answer.
Scaramouche just avoid her gaze and walk straight to his seat, starting the car as the sign that they are moving somewhere. "Mona , does steamboat sounds good?" and he only receives a nod from her. "Want me to invite anyone, just in case you are not comfortable with me alone?" He asks her again and Mona just shook her head.
"You can just invite your friends over, I'm sure they will enjoy it too", she softly adds, and Scaramouche just nodded.
"Well, I'll call Rosaline and Ajax then"
Mona just chuckled and smile to the man who is texting his friends. He quickly drove his car out of the parking lot. The girl took a glance over to her nemesis again; yet shocked at a focused man who is driving herself to find comfort from her heartbreak.
'How can one be so selfish and caring at the same time? How can someone like him become so soft for their own enemies? The longer I watch him, the more I fell for him' back to her senses, she pinched her cheeks. 'What am I thinking?! There is no way that I am falling for that douche! Yeah, right! He's an asshole! Get your senses back, Mona! You are better than this!' she kept cursing to herself and pinching her cheeks over and over again.
"Mona, are you good? Do you need any pills or anything?", Scaramouche shows some concern which confused Mona even more. "Hey idiot, I am talking to you over here?"
Mona just smiled but that didn't satisfy him at all. "Mona, in this world, the one thing I hate the most than my mother is liars. Your face looks red, it's hideous." Scaramouche is still driving his car.
The reply got her pouting, Mona just brushes the feelings off of her. 'Maybe I'm just being delusional. Yes, that's probably it!'. As she finished with her thoughts, Scaramouche had already parked the car and stared at her.
"Oi, you didn't answer my question woman" he leans forward with made the girl almost squealing but instead push him off. "Hey!"
"I'm fine, so don't worry about it! Is this the restaurant?' she pauses "Oh boy, I am hungry! I could eat a cow!"
"Definitely, you could. Your diet is pretty much concerning, I might add. You have to eat something better, once in a while. So! Consider this offer as a reward from me, forget about the dean's list!" He walks out of the car and opens her side. "Come on out, we need to cook before those two idiots come"
Mona quickly smiles and pats his head like a cat, "You are acting weird, but I like this weird part of you, Kuni" Mona picks his hand and leads him inside the restaurant like a newly dated university couple. "One table please, for 5 people if you don't mind" she talks to the cashier.
"Five? All I know is that you, Ajax, Rosaline and I are the only ones who will attend this little dinner we have. Who is that other one person?"
"Lumine? To think that she is Ajax's girlfriend, I think she might come along with them"
"And who will be paying for her portions?" he lifts his left eyebrows.
"You?"
"Whatever then, let's get this all over with. Show us our seats please?" he politely asks the nearest waitress. The waitress pointing at herself, and Scaramouche just rolled his eyes. "Yes you" he paused.
The waitress smiles wide like Chester cat and being all touchy to Scaramouche which made him disgusted, Mona then quickly pulls Scaramouche closer to her and sticking her tongue out causing the waitress to be pissed. "He's mine, lady. Didn't mommy teach you to not mess with other people's property, no?"
Still looking pissed, the waitress quickly shows them their seats. "Help yourself, call me if you need something"
"No, thank you. I'll ask someone else if I need something. I appreciate the attention, but you sure have a big, massive voluptuous balls to flirt with my date"
"Certainly, I am so sorry", the waitress left hurried and Scaramouche just smirking at the sight of the jealous astrologist.
"So, I am your date, huh?" the words came out from his mouth "Damn, I thought that I am only a friend that always being an asshole that you can't get rid of. I am touched to hear that you called me as your date"
Flustered, Mona just whispers to herself. "I don't have a choice, do I? I always fell for one who shows me a little affection"
"Darling, I heard that. The wind really on my side, huh?"
"Oh, you heard wrong, mister! Now! I'll get the veggies for the soup, and you get the meats so they can come with the food served!" Mona quickly ran towards the vegetables section, leaving Scaramouche alone.
Smiling to himself, "Well, stupidly, I do fall for your honesty and beauty with that brain too. God, hope you can wait still, Mona. I still need time to prepare myself for the confession. I'll make it the best day of your life"

Mona humming to herself, picking the salad from the fridge. Watching the other couple teasing each other at the nearest seat, envy grew, and she doesn't even understand why.
'What is wrong with me now? It just a couple having fun' she pouts as she finally walking back to her table. Someone then taps her shoulder cause her to look behind. It was the blond twin sister, Lumine Viatrix, with her boyfriend behind her.
"Mona! Congratulations on the finals! You got second, that is impressive!" Lumine hugs her and she just shrugs. "Where's Scara?"
"Maybe at the table already, come on. And you too Ajax, don't go anywhere" Mona warns him as she about to go to the ice cream section.
"Man, you are no fun" he pouts and follows the other two.

"Oh, didn't know that Ajax arrived a little earlier than me" Rosaline finally shows up. "What's up, Gremlin Child?" she pats Scaramouche which he just groans.
"Stop that, Rosaline. I don't like people patting my head. You'll make a mess on my hair and ruin it"
She backed out and took a seat next to Lumine. "So, what's up with calling us over for dinner? It's pretty rare for you to call us for something like this" she took a glance at Mona who is still cooking the meal with both Ajax and Lumine. "Or is it because of a certain one?"
Scaramouche just pointing outside as a signal to talk with her privately while Rosaline just smirks. "Okay then; if that what you are asking for" Rosaline then stood up to outside, followed by Scaramouche. Mona carefully eyeing them and Ajax just smirks at the sight.
"You know, if Rosaline brings him off like that, it always means trouble. Rosaline is like the big sister of the house, so you don't have to worry if your boyfriend is being taken over by her. It might just be about the shitty wi-fi problem or his messy studio at home", Ajax explains and quickly smirk again. "Do you know that you are the only girl that he ever asked out, Mona?"
Stuttering and embarrassed, Mona awkwardly smiles. "No way, Ajax. Girls always around him, so you are just fucking around with me, no?"
"I wish I was joking too, Mona but this time" he shook his head "I am not lying, Scaramouche might be in love with you for so long" he scratches his back awkwardly. "I actually knew this earlier, but Scaramouche might kill me if he knows that I told you"
"Damn, and right here, Mona actually likes him too! What a coincidence, I see! Mona, how about confession? You always ask me about him a lot and then get drunk, thinking about him still!" Lumine menacingly smiling to her best friend "Come on, get yourself a man! Windblume festival is almost here! At least get a date for that festival, girl!"
"But how can I even confess? The stars told me that it was a bad day to confess for Scorpio's! I don't want to be a clown for Scaramouche's jokes too! What if Ajax just messing around?!" Mona panicked.
"Dear, you wouldn't lie to me, right?" Lumine glared at Ajax. "This is my best friend we are talking about, so if her confession gone wrong, I'm sure you don't want me to beat your ass up"
"I will never lie to you! Heck, I am just trying to help Mona too!" Ajax hugs his girlfriend close and stare to Mona "I am genuinely trying to get you laid"
Mona quickly slaps the man's shoulder and both Lumine and Ajax laughs.
"You both are mean..."

"What do you want to talk about?" he tucked his hands into his hoodie's sleeves.
"So, Mona Megistus huh? A very fine lady in my eyes, didn't know that you are interested in her" Rosaline leans to the vending machine next to the seat outside the steamboat house.
Scaramouche pulled out his hand and took a dollar or two and put them into the money slot. Observing the options and he chooses Coke and passes one to Rosaline. "Yes, and why would you care?"
"Kuni, you always bad with feelings, so as your friend, I would like to help you. Especially when the girl is clearly likes you too"
Scaramouche gripped the can he was holding on and threw his vision back to Rosaline with a pleading eye. "You sure? I never have this kind of feelings before..."
Rosaline pulled her Cola's tab and took a sip. Sighed, she just smiled. "Do you think that Ajax have the ability to bag Lumine without my help? He seriously helpless than you are... But still, I can see how much you are in love with Mona. I can sense the love in the air"
"Just like how you and Rostam?"
"Hey, Rostam is better than you idiots. I just hope he's doing fine, even though I missed him so much" Rosaline smiles and takes a sit at the nearby bench. "Come on, Kuni. You are better than this! How are you going to confess to this cutie? Who knows, if you take your time to think, there are a lot of people who will confess first" she took another sip.
"Then? How am I going to confess my love to her? I don't want to do a public one like yours!"
"How about a little trip to the beach tonight? Just you and her. She likes stargazing, am I right?"
"But everyone knew it's a hoax, Rosaline. There is no way that you believe in that thing too" Rosaline just sighed.
"Don't say that to her please? You have to respect her interest, Kuni! That's the first rule you need to know"
"Urgh! Maybe for this once I will listen to you, okay?" Scaramouche then walked back into the restaurant, leaving Rosaline alone outside.
Huffing at her friend's behavior, Rosaline sat still and pulled her phone out and called her fiancée.
"Rostam, sweetheart. I missed you so much. When will you come back?"
"Rosa...."

"So, that's how you going to get him, my girl!" Lumine talks to Mona who is stuffing herself with the salad. "Oh, Scaramouche is here!" Lumine smiles at him.
Scaramouche quickly took a seat next to Mona and took a tissue nearby to clean her face. "You got things on your face, why are you eating like a child, such a mess!" He wiped her face and both Lumine and Ajax stared at them, smirking and satisfied at the sight that they were playing.
"My, my... You two already being lovey dovey without me, that is so unfair!" Rosaline faked her reaction but actually pretty much happy for the both of them.
"Tch! Shut up, Rosa. And you two idiots, stop with your silly smiles. I'll stomp all over you both if I want"
"Kuni, that's mean... Sorry about this, Lumine. He can be a bitch sometimes"
"I can tell, just like how you always ramble, isn't he?" Lumine smirked at the girl, and she just flustered.
"So, I guessed right. You do talk shit behind my back after all. I am hurt, Mona"
"It is not like that, okay?! Lumine, you... "
"Then, explain yourself..."

SCARS THAT ARE BEAUTIFUL || CYNONARI

Tighnari still remember how painful it feels when he got struck by the unknown lighting from the last couple of days. Dehya and Lumine along with Paimon really worried about the forest ranger as he kept flinching and groaning in pain after getting the purple scars on his back. He had been resting in his hut for 3 days straight since the accident and are forbidden to go out for any work purposes since he was badly injured. Collei kept insisting Tighnari to let her take over his works, not leaving one left behind. Stubborn, Tighnari still working on the paperworks which made Collei worried. Since her Eleazar was cured, she is free like a bird to fly around the forest and roam to the outside world, yet the sight of seeing Tighnari in pain still make her feel bad since she couldn't protect Tighnari on that very specific day.
" Master Tighnari, do you need help with applying the serum over your scars? Again, I am so sorry that I couldn't help you that day. I'm such a bad student " she look down, upset that she failed to protect the one she loved and adored.
Tighnari sighed, " Collei, it is not your fault to begin with. Besides, you have been apologizing for a whole three days straight since the time Dehya sent me here. Please, don't worry about me, okay? I am not that weak, it is my duty to keep you safe ", Dottore's voices booming into his head, asking Tighnari to hand over his specimen back to Sneznaya. As a caring friend, it would be obvious that Tighnari will decline the offer since he know that Dottore only want to harm Collei. He smile to Collei again, asking her once more, " Anyways, how is Hapasyia? Is she doing well? "
Collei clench her fists, " Master, you still thinking about other people even you are the one who is in pain ", upset, she look straight into Tighnari's eyes, " Why are you being so nice to people? The fact you are prioritize others before yourself makes me sick. You should know that you should care about yourself first "
" Collei ... ", he softly calls her who is standing near the study table. " It is my duty as a Forest Ranger to keep my people safe "
Collei snapped and accidentally scream, " Duty that, duty this! You always say that! Why can't you listen to me for once! Can't you see that you need a real medical attention right now? Not some random crazy scholars! "
Realized that she's snapped, Collei quickly covers her mouth and her eyes watering real quick. " Oh .. no... I am so sorry! I'll leave this instance! " she quickly run out from the ranger's hut, before he could say anything.
His ears flops, ' Seems like I crossed the line this time. I am so stupid, I hope Collei will forgive me... ' he thought himself and buried his face into the pillow. Groaning, he just think about how stupid he sounds like. ' Oh, good job, Tighnari. You managed to upset her, now she's going to do reckless things to cheer you up '
As he burying himself with the pillow, a faint footsteps could be hear from a distance. Someone open the door without saying anything to him and stood there still as Tighnari say, " Please ask permission before barging into someone's house. Didn't your parents teach you manners? " He then look to the person who opened the door.
" Yeah, my parents went to get milk and forgot to teach me manners, but I'm sorry that I didn't knock before entering. I should've known better about it ", he still standing on the doorstep. " But hey, I brought some honeyed dates for you "
Shocked by the sentence, Tighnari froze. " That is the darkest joke that I heard all day. Damn, I'm sorry that I didn't know that was you who opened them " he then invite him inside. Cyno then place the box on the table.
" Hey, you shouldn't be too harsh to Collei, dear . She's just trying to help you. Also, I'm sorry that I came later after the day ... You know. The works for the Akademiya is too much, the sages assigned me more that what they usually have me "
Tighnari held his back slowly, sighed, " Don't worry, my General. I am quite fine "

" Cyno, this is only a pretend relationship, okay? You need my attention, and I need your fund for my studies. After this, we are only friends. Did I made this clear? " Tighnari slowly huff.
Cyno then turned silent, but hug him tighter.
" I know ... But, you still can try and fall to me, right? "
" I never a fan of being in love, so it's hard for me. I... I will give you a chance, of course ",. Tighnari slightly blush and smile at him.

" Uh? Okay? Are you like, into me or something? Because man, I'm not looking for love "
" But you are looking for money, isn't it? ", Cyno look at him, interested. " I can give you money that you need, love " he then hold Tighnari's chin up. " You look really, really adorable, Nari "
