FunTatas or Potalose? 🥔🍟
To see is to believe and to know is to experience. If I'm going to describe the food stall with words, I think that will be fitting. What could possibly be the experience that awaits you? What could possibly be the thing to hook you on experiencing it again?
For the past blogs, I've done reviews on the food and entertainment the stall offers. However, I realized that I haven't really given a review "Potato Corner" as a whole. There are things that still need to be talk about. Example are the locations of Potato Corner's stalls, the aesthetics, the flavor options, the menu, the pricing, etc.
For the location of Potato Corner, I believe almost every mall has a Potato Corner that is serving customers. SM food courts have Potato Corner, Riverbank Mall have a Potato Corner, and even at the opposite side of the street in an urban area have a Potato Corner. The brand is so successful that it is not surprising to see different branches opening. The stalls are not that hard to find thus being accessible to anyone.
For the menu, not all branches of Potato Corner have the same menu. The classics like cheese, barbeque and sour cream, are always available but flavors like cheddar cheese, wasabi, adobo, chocolate, etc. can't be seen on different branches. It is understandable that for a stall it is not present because the funds, place, appliances, and resource are not the same throughout their branches. With that in mind, don't always expect if a flavor or product is not available on your branch. Despite that statement, it shouldn't discourage you from the fact that every flavor is worth a try.
For the pricing, It is a bit inconsistent and overpriced. Example for a regular size of Potato Corner, the price ranges from 29 to even 40 pesos. With not a lacking amount kf fries on their small cup, it is overpriced. The difference on the price on different branches raises an eyebrow for me. I remember that on one stall, the price for regular is 29, but when I go to the other stall on a different mall, the price is 35. The rent on the place might be the reason but it is absurd to have this inconsistency that leads to overpricing. Additionally, this might not be true to all but there is this rumored marketing strategy that they put "out-of-stock" or "unavailable" on regular size for people that are craving for their product buy a larger size which cost more money. That is a bit discouraging for me but it is just business and we still have the free will to eat or not to eat.
In conclusions to my statement, even though I am enthusiastic about the brand, there are still good things and bad things that we should consider. To see is to believe and to know is to experience. I am merely giving my reviews and take to this brand and product which means that is still up to you if you want to give it a shot and experience it.

Two in One  🍟 🍟
I think this idea of having two flavors on one bucket of Potato is amazing. I mean it is not unusual to have more than one but for me the experience of having a barbeque and cheese-flavored fries at the same time is awesome. It's like a blessing for me that I could to that so to honor it and give it a review, I will write in a poem.
Mirror, mirror, on the wall Who is the tastiest of them all? Can't decide if it will be cheese Or barbeque that I miss.
Then I thought "oh nevermind" "'Cause I can make them combine" My words may not be flowery But that's the best on expressing my sincerity. Why should I be confused about picking If I could eat both Two flavors in one serving Makes my mind goes float.
However, not all combination is great Some leave a bit of a confusing taste But that doesn't discourage me Because my will is bounded by curiosity.
To conclude my side of the potato It is something that everyone should try Witness the experience of consumption On a product I can't deny.

"Better-ah-ah-ah With Fla-a-a-a-vor" 🍟
I want to sway direction on my food blog and talk about one of the catchiest things I've encountered in the Filipino food stall. It Is of course the Potato Corner Jingle. Many of the bigger stalls that Potato Corner have has a television that mostly played their products, flavors, mini shows like the PotatOlympics, and especially their one-minute and twenty-five seconds dance and jingle.
The title of the jingle is "Potato Corner Better with Flavor". It is a one-minute and twenty-five that features what the brand offers to people of different ages. The jingle includes a dance number from lots of people from different backgrounds. The jingle's content is about how Potato Corner can be everyone's go-to snack to feel better. As someone who consumes this product at SM Cherry Antipolo, there is this more than one television that the stall has and one of them plays the jingle on repeat. It doesn't bother me at first but eventually, the song got stuck in my head and realized to myself that I am jamming to the beat of the song. The jingle when it comes to the composition of the instruments is what you expected to be a lively catchy song. What got me hooked up is the lyrics that go "Better-ah-ah-ah With Fla-a-a-a-vor" because I think it is silly and with dance steps added, it is very charming and groovy. It's this kind of thing that gives joy to my little soul. Just simple things from my favorite stall that creates their own image or icon to be recognized that it is them, it is "Potato Corner".

"Ang BiBiQu" ♨️🔥🍟
"ikaw pa rin ang BiBiQu, ang BiBiqu". Of course, that is my BBQ. The most exciting flavor of french fries that I have ever tasted in these 17 years of existence. It is part of the big 3 of Potato Corners' flavors. Together with cheese and sour cream, bbq is a staple on every stall in the country. You can't deny that it is popular with the masses because of its kick and savory to the people's taste buds. In my first blog about how cheese became such an icon to me, I mostly talk about how it became nostalgic to me and how it affects me in an emotional way. I never truly focus on what it made. For that reason, I would love to include what makes the fries really good, and how barbeque flavor became my favorite. So how do they make Potato Corner fries? According to foodiepileonline.com, Potato Corner fries are made with Idaho potatoes that are cut in a fitting size for people to enjoy. Idaho potatoes are one of the best potatoes out there according to finediningloves.com. These potatoes are Russet potatoes that came from North America where they are produced in an environment that has light soil from volcanic soil that supplies the rich minerals that create high-quality potatoes. The fries are tasty but there's not enough excitement about eating it and that's why all classic barbeque existed. Looking for how Potato Corner's barbeque seasoning was made, I haven't found what are exactly the contents of the seasoning. I only found other ingredients and ways from allrecipes.com which is quoted as "brown sugar, paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne" but not anything related to potato corner. I am not sure if this is correct or flavors and ingredients of the brand are secret recipes. Even though I don't know the ingredients of the barbeque, I know that it has some magic in it. The first time I tasted the barbeque flavor, I immediately fell in love with it because it made my experience of eating French fries better because it is a bit spicy but with a touch of sweetness. Every time I finish a set of it, I don't know if it's weird but I really love eating the extra barbeque that was not eaten that can be found mostly on the side and it still tastes delicious. Eating this flavor also helps me to ease negative feelings in my body because when I eat barbeque French fries, I am distracted by savoring the magic it has to offer than thinking about my problems. It's like a friend that comforts you when you are feeling down. Unlike cheese, it is something that I want to eat over and over because the charm of eating this never gets old to me. Even though I am tasting varieties of new flavors, I always found myself ordering barbeque as my default choice. It is how amazing how much thought was put into this product and how it came from soil from the opposite side of the world to our country, to a local brand, to a local stall, and to my stomach. Additionally, the flavor that I really love that I can taste it by thinking about it. I believe some people can relate to that feeling because everyone cherishes something and food became our comfort.

Ez Cheezy🧀
So we all probably know what is “Potato Corner”. For those people who have not yet witnessed or tasted the magic of this food stall; Potato Corner is a Filipino brand food stall that sells french fries and other snacks. When I started putting this product inside my digestive system, the first flavor that my tongue remember is cheese. Am I the only one who thinks that cheese is one of the safest flavors to consume on a snack when you want to be hooked on it? ‘Cuz I really got hooked up by its flavor.
There is this just feeling of “oh wow, it does taste like cheese with fries” when I ate it. I said it like that because there are times that it’s either there’s too much cheese on the fries, small cheese on the fries, or the cheese doesn’t compensate for the lack of flavor on the fries on other stalls.
By the way, I am consuming Potato Corner’s fries at SM Cherry Antipolo because it is the nearest branch that existed in my area.
Additionally, the taste of the cheese flavor mixed really well with the fries. Potato Corner fries are often a bit crispy which is satisfying and the cheese adds sweetness to the overall flavor. If I’m going to compare it to other snacks, the feeling is like eating a fishball with gravy that is a bit viscous which completes the overall experience of the snack. Speaking of the overall experience, after eating the fries, it is expected to have cheese powders on the consumer’s finger and also on the cup which gives u a “finger-licking” experience if you are into that.
Now that I am writing this, cheese flavor is something that I miss because today, I try different varieties of flavors that the stall offers, and cheese is one of the least because I prefer new and more exciting.
Nevertheless, cheese flavor is a beginner-friendly and safe option because of how versatile and how tasty the fries will be. The overall experience of eating the fries will engage you on going back to it again and trying lots of different flavors and also different snacks that they offer.
Obviously, I’m a fan, and just like they said, “it’s better with flavor with potato corner”.
