Every time I watch "The Office", I'm reminded how genius the show is. The self awareness, the uncanny, and unhinged humour is a class apart. Shows like these do not exist anymore.

When I was a boy, my father, Avatar Aang, told me the story of how he and his friends heroically ended the Hundred Year War.

Thousands of tons of cosmic dust are estimated to reach the Earth's surface every year, with most grains having a mass between 10−16 kg (0.1 pg) and 10−4 kg (0.1 g). The density of the dust cloud through which the Earth is traveling is approximately 10−6 dust grains/m3.
The best spots to look for and find the extra-terrestrial dust particles are surfaces with little vegetation and erosion, where, once landed, they remain collectable for a long time: for example on ice surfaces in the Antarctic or on the seabed. Researchers from the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin and the Freie Universität Berlin now want to tap a new source of the scientifically very valuable material. They are counting on the active support of Berlin citizens.
Cosmic crumbs
“We want to collect micrometeorites, they are usually less than one millimetre in size, from Berlin roofs,” says project manager Lutz Hecht. The idea has already proven successful: The researchers extracted 63 micrometeorites from many kilogrammes of dust from a roof area of around 5000 square metres. They are now identifying further roofs, which could be good places to find more due to their location and nature.
At the selected locations, the material is swept together and the particles from 0.1 to 0.8 millimetres in size are sifted out. Magnetically reacting particles are then extracted from these. The yield is washed, light particles discarded and the remaining material is dried and examined under microscopes. “This is a very time-consuming task that requires the help of volunteers who help us picking out the interesting objects,” says Hecht.
Whether the interesting objects actually are micrometeorites will be checked with an electron microscope. The museum’ geochemical and microanalytical laboratories are equipped for analysis

I recently went to the Museum für Naturkunde which roughly translates to Museum of Natural History in Berlin.
This was my first ever experience of seeing actual dinosaurs(or whatever remains of them)
I also got to see their least favourite reindeers, which are comets basically.
I realized I will never be tired of visiting museums (even though the moralities are always in question when it comes to museums and zoos)
Nonetheless it was a cherished experience.

There was an old man who lived by a forest. As he grew older and older, he started losing his hair, until one day, on his deathbed, he was completely bald. That day, he called his children to a meeting…
He said, “Look at my hair. It used to be so magnificent, but it’s completely gone now. My hair can’t be saved. But look outside at the forest. It’s such a lovely forest with so many trees, but sooner or later they’ll all be cut down and this forest will look as bald as my hair.”
“What I want you to do…” the man continued. “Is, every time a tree is cut down or dies, plant a new one in my memory. Tell your descendants to do the same. It shall be our family’s duty to keep this forest strong.”
And so they did. Each time the forest lost a tree, the children replanted one, and so did their children, and their children after them. And for centuries, the forest remained as lush and pretty as it once was, all because of one man and his re-seeding heirline.

“ The Chroma Conclave “
This started out as a very late night sketch to help me fall asleep but I just had to finish it. This took me right back to my younger years of drawing nothing but dragons and it really gave me a good spark of inspiration. Drawing them will always be my favorite!
I can’t wait to see this bunch again soon.

A keen hunter takes his wife deer hunting for the first time in her life.
He first explains the basics to his wife, and then says: “One thing is super important: Whenever you shoot something, you must claim it right away. Or else if someone else gets to the kill, they might claim it. So if you want deer meat in the fridge, make sure you’re quick to claim it.”
Of they went to their deer boxes to see if some deer would show up. In a matter of minutes, the hunter hears his wife’s gun. He wants to make sure she claims her kill like he’s told her, so off he goes to investigate.
He finds his wife arguing loudly with another man. By the time he gets there, the man is looking panicked, and has put both hands in the air, saying: “Sure lady, fine, whatever, if you insist, this is YOUR deer. But can I please take my saddle off your deer before you take it away?”

21 years of k3g; an evolution in style, music and drama
yesterday marked the day when 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' hit the theatres in 2001, setting off a an unprecedented domino effect that would be felt even 21 years later. Set on the most melodramatic premise known to man, where a son gets disowned for marrying below his social status, his brother goes from a chubby kid to having an eight pack and a sixth thumb; where the second lead drives to school in a lambo, it has got it all. The melodrama of it all is not why it lives in my head rent free, it was the colours, mood and the ambiance that K3G introduced me to.
This movie was my first introduction to a pastel based wardrobe, everything that 'Poo' wears in this movie can only be categorised as Y2K classics. Starting from the pink jacket and choker ensemble in 'Dewaana hain dekho' to the cream colored beaded 'Sharara' in 'bole Chudiyan', Manish Malhotra and Kareena Kapoor set the bar high for the metric of serving looks. Kapoor's backless spandex-leather outfit in 'you are my soniya' absolutely mesmerised millions of girls like me and definitely did set a template in mind for club aesthetics- sleek, sparkly with just the right amount of skin. I think it's worth mentioning that Kareena's outfit in 'Bole Chudiya' did kickstart the trend of bell bottomed salwar suits, and started my love for rhinestones. One could say, 'Poo' was the purveyor of the desi coquette aesthetics, for her use of pastels, brands and obviously, her brother-in-law's money.
One cannot just speak of the characters and not be reminded of the flowing and the beautifully fusioned music of the soundtrack. Jatin-Lalit, Sandesh Shandilya, Aadesh Shrivastava did a wonderful job of blending the 2000s bollywood with a sensual R&B of the western end. In my opinion, Anil Pandey absolutely outdid himself with the sensual lyrics of 'Sooraj Hua Maddham', with the Egyptian background and Sonu Nigam and Alka Yagnik's voice, it was heard to cut through the palpable romanticisim of the song. Additionally, being the revolutionary that KJo is, he introduced us to one of the best wedding songs of all time; the fact that you'll have to think a bit to pick your choice says enough.
Yesterday marked not only the 21st years of the release of a era-setting film but also the capstone of core memories for desi millennials all over the world. With its memeable dialogue, wonderful visuals and playback button hitting songs, K3G will forever live on in our heads.
