Kenja no Mago Anime~

An Isekai anime is out again peoples! Is this an isekai marathon after Tensei Shitara?! Ohmo~

So we are up to episode 1 which is out last April 10 and i guess will be updating every wednesday. Also called as "Magi's Grandson"

So for those who haven't read the manga or novel please beware of some slight spoilers below~~

Okay, I watched this just after watching One Punch Man Season 2 Ep1 (It is out you guys~!)

And I was a little bit skeptical cause I heard from my beother that the animation was like Cardcaptor Sakura (Latest Version) with all the cutesy dokidoki sparkles kinda thing. But I don't really think so

The animation was very nice. More like a Satou-san (Death March) thing. But I love love love the action scenes!

The magic! the martial arts! and the cinnamon roll seiyuu of the young Shin Walford got me squealing!!!

But

I would just like to point out my peeve in this based on the episode 1...

Is that it is sooooo fast paced. I felt like I went to several chapters squeezed into one episode. But i get it, those first parts aren't really all that necessary. *shrugs

Anywaaaay~~~

Merlin and Merida's art! Ohmoooo hahahahaha

they lost the old cool abd old sexy vibe i always feel at the manga even their young counterparts especially merida looks like a teen lolli of some kind hahahaha.

Ahem. Sorry for that. I just woshed they retain the aura per se

So all in all I am hoping this will be a good one and they stop fast pacing it. Both the female heroin and male heroin loooks good too.

Reaction:

The animation is great especially the effects. The scenes and art may be on par with Isekai Shokudou. The ecchi theme of the manga has been portrayed just the same and the seiyuus are totes great!

I am expecting a lot of power-showing of the MC and get that OP feeling but based on the manga, we might get the harem-showing more, if you get what I mean haha.

All in all, I am glad there's a new one on our list!

I know there are more of these in the coming months. Especially an anime about that Slime ya know 😏😏

Isekai (異世界)

Isekai (異世界) anime are "alternate world" (sometimes called "strange world") anime where characters from our world are somehow transported to a different world. This other world could be virtual, magical, or just... different.

Some leads (MCs) are transported through video games, books, or when they die, or some other strange phenomenon and may be accidentally or on purpose. Some are summoned and meet their summoners which are often gods of another world or by a strange ritual and are often gifted overpowered skills with or without them knowing. But there are also some who don't possess anything and may later grow throughout the adventure.

Not much knew of this genre. I for instance just ended up getting addicted because I longed for overpowered MCs. 😅

So....on this one most of them I have already watched and some are not or just maybe going to on the nearest future because right now I am pretty occupied with novels hahahaha.

This is not on any order or ranking though not like the first list. Comment if there is something I forget. I tend to some times hahahaha 😋.

No game No Life - for now maybe the best isekai animation I have ever watched. I still rewatched both their movie and anime and still gets goosebumps.

Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyousoukyoku - okay, another harem isekai though this much I can handle. They are like a small family of sorts though the problem is, I have re-read the current translated manga chapters a dozen times making it so boring to watch the anime so I put it off for now but I really like the story albeit a bit slow and not much action. Maybe I'll post a short review after this 😗

List of Recommended Isekai Novels

As of April 16, 2018.... This are the list of Isekai Novels I have read and recommended and with ranking. I will change it and add if there are new ones. Forgive me for some minor spoilers *wink*

Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken - so most Novels I have read always start from the manga and if it is not enough I head to Novels and this is my very first isekai novel. I really love OP MCs.

Potion Tanomi de Ikinobimasu - dang! The smartest MC I have ever met! Read the novel all through the night. I can still myself shaking from all the excitement

Magi Craft Meister - currently ongoing novel. I had to re-read the manga a thousand times because the novel is still not enough to satisfy me even though it already spanned 10 volumes and 298 chapters. I love how OP the lead is but still making sure he has fun, and doesn't kill anyone...as much as possible.

Kamitachi ni Hirowareta Otoko (Man picked up by Gods) - another OP MC that makes sure he has fun on the other world. A very good businessman and researcher. The translated novels aren't enough huhu. Still waiting for more.

Otome game no hametsu flag - loving this funny novel very much! It's the very first novel I read which is completely translated so it satisfied me a lot!

Saving 80,000 Gold Coins in the Different World for My Old Age - okay what a long ass title but totally worth it. Not as smart as the lead in 'Potion Tanomi' but she really has quick wits and is very brave despite not having magic powers except for one....teleportation.

Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi - One of my favorite Isekai mangas. Very relaxed and somehow like Isekai Shokudou because of all the food hahaha

Seijo no Maryoku wa Bannou desu - I love how carefree and OP the lead is without the other world people knowing who she is truly is hahaha. But some got the gist of it.

Takarakuji de 40-oku Atattandakedo Isekai ni Ijuu Suru - I love how he helps lot at the people from the other world but I feel bad sometimes that he isn't physically strong for the manual labor done in that almost ancient-like civilization. Huhu poor lead.

Genjitsushugisha no Oukokukaizouki - I love how he is managing the government because he is smart or maybe just quick-witted but the polygamistic then and then the harem and then these bunch of terminologies of countries you can't understand in the mpnovel unless there's a map makes the novel hard to understand, only albeit.

Risou No Himo Seikatsu - I love how sweet the two on the novel and it's theme but when I went to the novel, the male lead just seem like a government puppet to me who always compromise. I ended up skipping paragraphs of the novel and only read certain dialogues to get the gist of it.

Comment and suggest if there are other good ones, I am open for anything as long as it is not to heavy-a-isekai. Toodles~
