Every day of your life
Pairing: Queen Ravenna x reader
Genre: fluff
Words: 1600
Note: So I lied and wrote the last part anyway cause I genuinely thought Chili would come back and request it (to be fair I got other asks for it but they were so detailed they'll have their own fanfics). This is the last part to Desperately by her side and Get you to fall in love. I hope it's a good and deserving ending, thank you for the support.
After a few months at the service of the queen, you grew to actually like her. She never lost the ethereal beauty that got you to your knees every time you met, but she became more of a normal person. You were wary to her at first, keeping your distance and your relationship completely professional. You didn’t ask about anything she didn’t tell you herself, you protected her from the few steps behind the protocol ordered you to keep. You didn’t overstep any boundaries or rules, after all this was your employment now.
Ravenna didn’t like it one bit. She wanted you to keep close by, stand by her side for support in hard decisions and shout your opinion whenever you had one. She understood you followed the rules, it almost surprised her you did so to a dot. But she wanted you to become more than her guard, she wanted to make you her confident and lady. But it seemed any suggestive remark flew over your head, her puns falling on deaf ears. She admired your dutifulness but despised it at the same time.
With weeks growing into months, she grew more and more desperate. How come nothing she did got a reaction out of you? She could throw herself at you all she wanted and all she got back was polite excuses. It was driving her crazy. You were slowly warming up to her, keeping your pace behind her closer, furrowing your brows when you didn’t agree with her plans. She learnt to read you like a book, all the gestures and nonverbal communication you showed when you thought no one was looking.
But so did you, you learnt her routine like your own schedule, knew exactly when she needed a bit of quiet space or a strong coffee to keep her going just a little bit longer. At the end of the day you could always tell if she’d want her covers warm or cold based on what she did and how she felt during the day. Once she gave you one of her books to read, almost commanding you to come back to her with how you liked it. Your relationship grew into a confident friendship, even though you tried to avoid it in the beginning, but she was simply irresistible.
The closer the end of the year neared the more scared she got thinking about your leave. Would you be willing to stay, at any role she’d offer you? Sure, you became friends, there was no denying that now. But was it enough for you to not want to leave her side? Were you friendly to her only because you thought your job requested it? She wouldn’t call you cold by any means, but you were still overly respectful to her liking. When she changed in front of you, you never took even the smallest peak, decently turning around. When she took you swimming in the lake you stood at the shore, your observant eyes lingering anywhere but on her body.
Maybe she wasn’t attractive enough? No man could ever resist her charm, but why was it never working on you? Were you in love with someone else already? She wouldn’t stand for that. But the though of you looking lovingly at someone else got her all insecure and unsure of herself, something no one could ever do to her. Why did she let you so close to shatter herself? No spells could actually make you genuinely love her, so that wasn’t an option. But how is she supposed to get you to fall for her when you don’t leave any room for romance to grow between the two of you?
Even now, when she practically begged you to sit on the other chair by her fireplace, your back was straightened and you seemed ready to jump on any sign of threat. She reads her book but the lines dance on the page, her brain unable to comprehend the words she’s barely paying attention to, so she hasn’t turned the page in over ten minutes. That doesn’t go unnoticed by you, your observant nature picking up on her nervous lip biting.
“Are you alright, my queen?” You ask, obviously interrupting her thoughts.
“What? Oh yes, yes, I was just thinking.” She answers settling on a smile. “And how many times will I remind you to just call me Ravenna.”
“Sorry, Ravenna.” Partly you teased her, partly it still felt weird to call her majesty just by her name.
“Y/n do you think I’m pretty?” She decides to directly ask you, she was many things but never a coward.
“I… uh, what?” Her question got you coughing in surprise.
“Do you think I’m beautiful?” She pierces you with her pointy eyes full of curiosity now.
“Well, of course you are. You are very pretty.” You try to sound as nonchalant as possible.
“Then how come you are never interested in me?” Ravenna almost whines, but sounds completely serious. “How come you never want to do anything with me?”
“…That would be completely unprofessional, my lady.” You need to clear your throat suddenly horse as she leans closer to you, engulfing you in her perfume.
“Maybe I want you to be unprofessional…” She suggests and you need to lean back, getting up from your seat.
“It’s getting really late. I suggest you got to sleep soon, my queen. Good night.” With a bow you flee the room, allowing yourself to breath outside the door.
Did she catch onto your feelings for her? Was she testing your professionalism or loyalty? It took everything in you to not fall to her feet right then and there that night, but if you wanted to complete your duty you needed to stay alert at all times and her being too close to you would only distract you, putting her life in danger. And you couldn’t allow that, even if it meant torturing yourself with being always close to her but never close enough. So you remained in the torturous distance where you could almost touch her but never hold her.
There were merely weeks left of your service in her castle, and you still weren’t decided if it’s better to leave and never come back or prolong your torture for the prize of her presence and meeting her every day. You heard the commotion before you saw it, Ravenna turning the corner before you could stop her. In the few seconds you were filled with both fear and courage, swiftly pushing her behind yourself while making a short process with the intruders with your sword. As the rest of the guard made sure every one last of them was either dead or imprisoned you turned to Ravenna, holding her face in both your hands frantically inspecting every inch of her skin.
“Are you alright?” No answer she’d give would be satisfactory to you enough anyway.
“Yeah, I think I’m fine.” She answers lost in your eyes, hardly comprehending what happened just minutes ago.
“I’ll take you to the infirmary.” You decide, dragging her by her arm before she could protest.
As the nurse looks Ravenna over you never let go of her hand, your fingers protectively entwined with hers, mindlessly drawing shapes on the back of her palm. She is cleared in fifteen minutes, but it’s hardly good enough for you. Yet you’ll have to believe the nurse, it’s after all the best opinion you can get around here. Even when you’re left alone, you still hold her hand afraid to let go, that she might disappear the moment you’re not touching her.
“I’m sorry.” You admit after a long silence. “It was my only job to protect you and I couldn’t do what I promised you.”
“Are you kidding me? You were amazing.” Ravenna counters, putting your entwined hands in her lap, refusing to let go. “If it wasn’t for you I probably would not be here anymore.”
The admittance weights on both of you like a heavy blanket, suffocating the light and warmth out of the room. As if just now you both realized how close to death Ravenna actually got. It got you all distraught and agitated. You couldn’t imagine they’d actually succeed in taking her away from you. With a heavy sigh you sit on the bed next to her, embracing her in your arms and wrinkling the duvets with your dirty boots.
Ravenna being unable to take the tension and stress anymore uses the opportunity to finally catch your lips in a kiss, at least once, so she knows what she could have had. But contrary to her belief you return the kiss, hugging her to you so close she almost can’t breathe, your determination and self-control finally breaking and crumbling like a house of cards.
“I love you, please stay here with me.” Ravenna shamelessly begs you, her truthful eyes burying deep into yours.
“Okay.” You agree with a smile, kissing the top of her head.
It is safe to say you won’t be leaving the castle any time soon. Even Finn warmed up to you after that, saving his sister’s life proving to be enough for you to earn his trust and appreciation. Not only did you make sure anything like that could never happen again, you finally allowed yourself to love the queen as she deserved, fully and wholeheartedly, giving her every minute of your day and standing by her side on any occasion. After Ravenna’s insecurity you vowed to show her how amazing and perfect she was every day of your life.

Get you to fall in love
Pairing: Queen Ravenna x reader
Genre: fluff
Words: 1500
Note: A second part to Desperately by her side. There might be a room for one more in the story if it's requested, but for now that's it. Thank you so much for being a devoted reader of my work.
Tumblr media
Finn’s task proved to be considerately more difficult when you not only didn’t want to be found, but were actively hiding from his guards and raiders. With each day his sister’s demands and threats got more and more obscure and impossible to fulfill, and every time he thinks there’s nothing worse that could come, she proves him wrong. They still needed to find Snow White, and that’s why she wanted to find you so desperately, he thought. So why did it seem like she’s more fixated on you than the culprit herself?
You travel through the land with nothing but your sword and a few practical possessions, choosing to travel light in case you needed to flee suddenly. The warrant for your capture was still out and many would take any chance to get on the queen’s good side and earn the reward for themselves. You escaped her own soldier by short a few times yourself. But the memory of her golden hair and stone-cold eyes made you wonder if it would have been so bad, going back and meeting her again, even when you were certain it would be the beginning of the end of your unfairly short life.
You were currently staying in a little town in the north of the kingdom, keeping your profile low. Exchanging the animals you hunted in the forests for potatoes and warm wool, working to earn a bit of money to get by around here. Growing suspicious and unnecessarily paranoid over the last couple of weeks staying in such a small place brough you calm and a little peace of mind. Surely no one would even look for you in such forgotten place on the map, right?
You shouldn’t have assumed though, because you are woken up by two soldiers covering your mouth and tying your hands. As you trash around to get out of their grasp, they drag you out of the small house where you were staying with a welcoming old man. He now stood in the doorframe taking a full bag of gold coins from one of the guards, hardly sparing you a pitiful glance. You cuss yourself out for having such open trust in people and humanity, when they’d sell you for tomorrow’s dinner. You can’t help but fear for your life as you’re helplessly taken back to the castle, the carriage speeding through your beloved land.
“Put her in the dungeon.” Finn orders when you arrive deep into the night and the soldiers throw you behind bars.
The dungeon was cold and moldy, you couldn’t help the shake going through your bones. The darkness didn’t feel welcoming but dangerous, like you didn’t know what could attack you from the deeps of the night. The steel bars are freezing your hands but it feels like you’ll get lost if you let go of them. The floor is covered in a thick layer of dirty straw, that being the only place for you to sleep or sit. So you sit down with your back to the cold stone wall, curling up into yourself to keep at least a bit of your body heat.
You are woken up by a harsh tug of your restrains, the guard walking your through the castle without as much as a single word. The moment you stand in front of the queen again, this time completely vulnerable at her mercy, your fear is once again overtaken by awe. There’s a different crown on her head this time, her hair precisely braided into a bun. You could say whatever you want about her personality but the truth was even a blind man would have to admit her ethereal beauty.
She looks at you with her hawk sight, analyzing your out of shape form. You seemed dirtier than the last time she saw you, and there was a tiredness to your face and shoulders she didn’t recognize. Maybe that’s just what months in hiding do to a person? Constantly looking behind your back must be hard on the neck. She couldn’t help but feel somewhat sympathetic for you. You still had your fierce and wit, but the over-the-top confidence was gone as was your sword and apparently even your sleep and nutritious food. You spent minutes just looking at each other, she analyzing you and you trying to guess how far the end of your life is.
“Aren’t you gonna bow to your queen?” She asks after the silence grows heavy and one of the guards kicks your knees in.
“I didn’t think my queen would care for my respects.” You counter, at least you’re gonna go out with grace.
“I’d be careful with your insolent tongue, I’m deciding how you’re gonna live the rest of your life.” She warns you as if it wasn’t the only thing you thought about ever since you got here.
“If it’s back in the dungeons I’d rather my tongue brings me the execution earlier than later.” You admit determinedly.
She furrows her brows at that, how could someone actually prefer death over life? But that wasn’t at all what she wanted to do with you, so she ordered the guard to bring you into one of the servants’ rooms and lock you in there. She’ll pay you a visit soon enough, but now, she needs to have a word with whoever threw you into the disgusting dungeon instead of giving you a proper place to sleep of bringing you to her immediately. And it was pretty clear who’s fault that was.
“Finn!” She couldn’t believe she was related to such a dumbass. “Care to explain why you would treat our guest so poorly!?”
“My dear sister, she’s a criminal! You should execute her for her impudence and disrespect immediately.” He disagrees.
“That’s no way to treat people we want something from, Finn. I have no intention to execute her, nor imprison her.” She clears. “Her talents would be of no use was she dead.”
Finn couldn’t see whatever it was his sister saw in you, to him you were just an entitled girl you’re a naughty mouth who needed to be put in her place or better, completely gotten rid of. He didn’t understand why Ravenna cared about such a low life all of the sudden, treating you to an actual room with a bed and warm food. To him you were no better than the rats in their outfall, your life completely useless and worthless. Meanwhile the queen was possessed with her fondness of you, ordering the kitchen to bring you enough food and making sure you are given fresh warm duvets and clothes. And after that, she visits you again the next day, even knocking on your door before entering to give you some false sense of privacy.
“How are you today?” She asks with a demeanor that makes you bow down to her instantly. “Did you think about your time here?”
“I’m still not hunting Snow White down for you.” You stand your ground, why else would she want you back here? “I’m not the right person to call for a dirty job.”
“No, I… wanted to give you a different offer. You might have noticed a person in my position doesn’t have many friends but has a lot of people out for their head. I want you to become my knight…” She explains with a vulnerability she wouldn’t show to anyone else.
“Why would I do that?” You surely weren’t the most trust earning person in your time here. “You’d trust me with your life after I disobeyed you?”
“I can pay you.” The queen offers, in her experience money could buy anything and anyone. “And I saw your incredible skills, I wouldn’t entrust my life to just anybody.”
“I don’t care about your money.” She should have noticed that by the way Finn described your lifestyle.
“Then what do you want, hm? Fortune? Beauty? Infinite life? I can give you that…” She promises, getting a bit desperate. “I can give you anything you want, anything you’ll ask for.”
What could she give to someone who already had all they needed? She feared you won’t find a reason to stay here, and she couldn’t just force you. not if she wanted you to grow some genuine likeness for her. You reconsidered and weighted the situation, you weren’t particularly thrilled about a service at the castle but you also wouldn’t reject help to anyone in need, and she has so far always treated you decently and with respect.
“Okay, I’ll work here for food and housing for a year. Then, I’ll reconsider my need here.” You finally accept, hoping to not regret your decision.
“Great! I’ll get your chambers prepared.” With a genuine enthusiasm she practically runs out the door to get you settled for your stay.
A year would be enough to get you to fall in love with her, right? And then she won’t have to fear about you ever leaving her side again.

Desperately by her side
Pairing: Queen Ravenna x reader
Genre: fluff (basically)
Words: 1400
Note: Right when I thought noone reads Ravenna fics anymore, I got such an amazing request! Thank you so much, I hope I didn't let you down.
Tumblr media
The situation was slightly getting out of hand. Queen Ravenna was desperately trying to hunt Snow White down for weeks, even months at this point. And it was successfully getting her nowhere. Her guard always came empty handed, soldiers returning with nothing but dumb excuses for their incompetence. If she didn’t need to stay here and rule, she was starting to believe that even she herself would have a better success finding the girl. She needed for someone to finally get her and her patience was running thin.
“Finn!” She ordered for like the tenth time that day. “Why does everyone fail! It’s not that hard to catch a little girl, it’s not like she’s some witch!”
“Well she knows the land way better than our soldiers do…” the man was scared facing his sister’s anger.
“Then find me someone who does!” The queen orders and he scrambles away to execute it.
However unsuccessful they were trying to find Snow White herself, it didn’t take long to fins Y/n. Her reputation preceded her, Finn hearing all about the mighty warrior on his road. Apparently she knew the craft of swordwielding like no one else, and could track down her pray from weeks old tracks. Following precisely all the directions he was given from people in the village, he must have had the wrong house. Sure a woman that magnificent and skilled wouldn’t live in a small cottage in the middle of nowhere? He knocked non the less, asking your name.
“I’m looking for miss Y/n.” He barks, not wanting to waste any of his precious time.
“Yes, that’s me. What can I do for you?” You question with hands folded over your chest, leaning lazily on the doorframe.
“You?” His reaction didn’t offend you anymore, given your reputation no one ever expected the seemingly fragile girl of small stature.
“Yes, me.” You assure him, waiting for him to register the information.
“Then why do you..?” He critically eyed your small home with hardly three rooms, decorated cheaply but warmly.
“Did you come visit me to discuss my living choices?” You cut his train of thoughts, trying to get back to the topic.
“No, excuse me madam, I was just surprised.” He fixed his language and attitude back to someone who needs to employ you. “I come at the behalf of her majesty the Queen. Would you please accompany me back to the castle so she can discuss her offer with you?”
Judging by the few guards standing behind him at the forest road it wasn’t really a question, so you take your knitted sweater, place your sword by your hip and with a shrug of your shoulders you get into his carriage. The road wasn’t long, taking you straight to the capital city. Finn wasn’t one of the most talkative people you’ve ever met, honestly he wasn’t talkative at all. You thought maybe it was because of the knights riding with you, but maybe he was just like that. Quiet and intimidated by everything and everyone.
You stop at the courtyard and with just a quiet ‘follow me’ he takes you straight to the queen’s throne room. The walls are lined with pillars and guards, tall windows let in colored light and in the middle her throne stands, tall and cold, ruthless and strong as his lady appears to be. She wears a metal crown that makes you wonder if her head doesn’t hurt from the weight after a long day wearing it, her golden hair flowing down her shoulders. She’s mesmerizing, coldly gorgeous and mercilessly splendid.
You watch her as Finn runs to her side, whispering about you to her ear and she watches you intently. Her face changes facades from surprise to disbelief and it finally settles on something close to villainous satisfaction, an expression that leaves an unsettling feeling in your gut and makes your spine shiver in cold sweat. You have never seen a person of such angelic appearance with such an evil soul. It was like even the air around her was scared of her malice.
“My brother tells me you are an excellent fighter.” She states, her sight burying deep into your soul.
You stand in front of her stiff as one of the columns, mesmerized yet petrified at the same time. Now you understood why people spoke so highly but warily about her, maybe they were scared she’ll actually hear them. Her beauty had no comparison, but her presence put people on notice and her piercing eyes seemed to look right into the essence of your being.
“And you can track people?” her patience was clearly running thin, forcing you to answer her.
“Yes, your majesty.” Gaining up some of your courage and shaking her bewitching spell from your shoulders you step from foot to foot.
“Excellent. I have a little someone I need to find, yet my soldiers always return empty handed. You think you can find her?” She challenges you.
“I can find anyone.” You answer confidently this time. “What is their crime madam?”
“Let’s say she took something dear from me.” She plays with her words, charmed by your curiosity. “Say your price, I’ll give you anything you want if you bring me the girl alive.”
“You need to tell me who this lady is first, my queen.” Remaining polite you state your terms.
“Are you familiar with the girl named Snow White? I need her to come back here.” Of course you were, everyone knew the princess.
“No.” You shake your head shocking everyone in the room with your impudence.
“No?” Ravenna repeats in shocked disbelieve that someone had the audacity to oppose her.
“No. I know Snow White, and I know she wouldn’t have done anything to deserve your wrath.” Squeezing the handle of your sword for confidence you explain.
Before the queen could even register your determined resistance, Finn himself gave a silent order to the guards along the room. They all closed on you so fast you had hardly the time to even draw your sword, but your training and skill proved itself in a fight against the queen’s soldiers. Being pushed by Finn to leave the room and flee for safety, she couldn’t take her eyes off of you, gracefully moving between the armed men like in your own kind of dance, effortlessly cutting their limbs and piercing their bodies like it was nothing but a piece of fruit, your hidden muscles showing off now in a combat of death.
As she looses the sight of you, she’s not angry, she’s enamored. She didn’t care for the lives of her knights, they were nothing but her pawns in the great scheme of things. But you, you were truly something. As she paces the throne room now bathing in blood with her bare feet, lifeless bodies laying around like nothing but ragdolls, she admired your talent and skill, and adored your unrestrained personality. You were long gone, the guard watching you run out the city gates, and suddenly a feeling of longing settled in her chest.
For a moment she forgot all about Snow White and her petty disputes, remembering your pretty eyes instead. She couldn’t help but wonder what it would be like to have such a strong, uncompromising woman by her side, mighty yet compassionate and gracious. She used to be like that herself, a long time ago before the world hardened her smooth skin and sharpened her warm eyes. How you managed to keep your pure righteous heart in this cruel place and time was an enigma to her.
“Finn!” She calls again as he crawls to her presence more frightened than ever before. “Find her. You did it once, do it again. Find me that girl.”
This time it wasn’t to threaten or execute you for your actions. She wasn’t mad at you, she wanted you desperately by her side. Not only would you be a perfect protector for a hated figure in her position of power, you seemed to have a wit many people could only dream about. You were determined, strongminded and you weren’t scared to disagree with her, yet you did so politely and non-judgmentally. Maybe protection of her life wasn’t the only reason she wanted to keep you close after such a short encounter. Maybe she would be able to see you as her equal friend and partner.

What characters you write for
Thanks for asking!!
Currently the characters I write for are:
Lady Lesso from The School for Good and Evil
Andromache of Scythia from The Old Guard
Queen Ravenna from Snow White and the Huntsman
Abby Anderson from The Last of Us
I thought of adding Natasha Romanoff to the list, but haven't yet, and there will be one Ellie Williams fic coming out next month (but I'm generally more interested in Abby).
I write fluff, angst and comfort fics of any kind. I don't really have experience with smut and don't feel like writing any for now.
Lately I feel like my fics aren't very liked, so after I post what I have already prepared I think I'll write Andromache and Ravenna only for requests and not on regular basis anymore.
Please request anything that comes to mind❤️

Just a bad memory
Pairing: Abby Anderson x reader
Genre: fluff
Words: 1800
Note: I swear I'm not doing it on puspose I'm just too invested in this story line. It's crazy how few people write actual outbreak TLOU. I hope you'll like this one. Let's celebrate Easter with this.
Tumblr media
You stood at the edge of the harbor, looking out for any signs of a boat or a raft coming your way. It’s been a week since Abby Anderson made contact with your camp, promising to join your forces once again. It should have taken her just two days from Santa Barbra to the Catalina Island, so your team was slowly loosing hope of her arrival. You didn’t want to imagine all the things that could have happened to her on the way, convincing yourself she probably just got delayed.
You haven’t seen Abby since you were both teenagers, you being a medical student in the Salt Lake City hospital and she being your boss’ daughter. But after the tragedy of both Jerry and Marlene dying and your station disbanding, you traveled with what was left of the Fireflies from place to place and she joined other survivors with her friends. The only image of what she should look like now after years was the few photos of your former friends Leah sent you.
You arrive back at your dorm at the base, spending the evening looking through the photos of your group laughing together and reading an old book you found at one of your search missions. You didn’t have many possessions but anything of seeming unimportance you found and claimed as yours had a special little place in your heart. You didn’t have any people left to deem important so you had to cling onto things. At least loosing things didn’t hurt as much. Things can’t unexpectedly die, just get lost. They don’t suddenly stop existing.
The next morning you’re woken up by Ethan, your best student, making him the second-best doctor this place had at just seventeen years old. If you got hurt you wouldn’t hesitate to place your life in his hands. Together you make your way to breakfast, eating in the basically only communal area you had around here. The kitchen wasn’t the best, but it kept your stomach full and that’s about as much as you could have wanted in the apocalypse.
“I’ve heard there’s a big action planned for today.” He informs you munching on a makeshift burrito.
“Like what, I haven’t been told anything.” You furrow your brows, they always told you when there were bigger than usual damages expected.
“Maybe it’s just training, you know how serious they can get with it.” Ethan offers shrugging.
“Yeah, maybe.” You agree half absent, already lost in thought.
“Quick! We have arriving at the port!” one of the soldiers on duty interrupts your conversation snapping you out of thoughts.
There was already an alert blaring, so you jumped out of your seat running to the pier where you usually waited for new arrivals. Sometimes it was former Fireflies coming, sometimes new recruits joining and other times it was invaders who needed to be pacified and questioned. This time though it was just a small boat hardly showing two people in. You could tell they were exhausted and probably famished, giving the signal to bring them in so you can see them. They clearly weren’t a threat.
You looked the people over, a boy who couldn’t be older than sixteen and a young woman unnaturally skinny and littered with more wounds than you could count, who looked awfully familiar. You ordered the few soldiers to help them out and bring them to the medical wing so you can tend to them. Looking the kid over her was malnourished and sunburned but didn’t have many actual life-threatening injuries that would need to be sewn up or operated immediately.
“Get him warmed up and get some nutrition into him as best as you can.” You instructed Ethan entrusting the boy in his hands.
“I always get the least fun job.” He grumbles as a joke and gets to the case.
“Hey. Once you’re the lead doctor you can divide the work.” You nudge him and turn your attention to the girl in the next bed divided only by a thin hospital veil.
You didn’t necessarily enjoy being the most skilled medical person around here, it meant all the responsibility of keeping people alive fell on you. On the other hand, you were literally saving lives on daily basis, and that was something you wanted to do ever since before the world went to shit. It’s why you studied at St. Mary’s Hospital and it’s also why you’re here, always following the Fireflies. Ever since Mr. Anderson died you sort of lost your guidance but you always tried to follow the right path as close as possible.
As you clean the girl’s wounds, it’s hard to decide where to even start. You begin with the deep cuts scattered around her hands and a few on her stomach including a stab wound in her shoulder, as those are at the highest risk of catching infections. You make your way around them, cleaning them with warm water, disinfecting them and dressing them in a clean white gauze, sewing up the deeper ones. As she almost looks like a Halloween mummy costume you move onto her face, tending to the cuts and bruises. Some were clearly caused by a knife while others you couldn’t even specify.
“What the hell happened to you.” You mumble as you’re gently brushing her hair out of her face, and that’s when it hits you. “Oh my god!”
“What!?” Ethan runs in ready for anything that could have frightened you.
“It’s her!” Sure, she was much thinner and dirtier than when you last saw her, but her bone structure was clear as day.
“Her who?” Ethan asks with a confused look clearly not being able to follow your train of thoughts.
“Abby! Abby Anderson!” You couldn’t believe you were actually saying it. “Go tell the captain they’re here.”
As Ethan runs out to pass on your exciting discovery, already being done with his job here, you look at her in awe. You couldn’t believe you were seeing her after years of being separated. She didn’t look anything like in the grown-up pictures Leah shared with you, her hair was messily cut off short instead of the long blond braid she used to wear and her body wasn’t built like a transformer as it apparently used to be, but it was still her. Her face that lost a little if it’s round cuteness, her hands and fingers calloused from too much excessive work.
“It’s okay. You’re safe here.” You promise her in a low voice as you see her waking up.
“What… what’s going on..?” Abby slowly moves feeling every muscle in her body hurting.
“You made it to the Catalina Island. You’re at the Fireflies. I’m gonna take care of you.” You clear out pushing her gently back down. “Don’t get up, your body needs to heal.”
“But Lev…” She frantically looks around.
“The boy’s okay. He’s just next door. Malnourished but otherwise fine.” You assure her settling down her worries as you put two and two together. “I’ll get you something to eat and drink. You need to get back some strength.”
Maybe she’d protest but the exhaustion and soft bed won over her pulling her back to sleep. Meanwhile you collected water bottles and soft foods that she could eat from the kitchen bringing it in on a tray putting it down on the side table by her bed. As you sat in a chair waiting for her to wake up again but giving her the much-needed time to sleep, you browsed the old photos of your friends again. You wondered what happened to them, it wasn’t like Abby to leave her group. But then again, this wasn’t the exact same girl you used to know in Salt Lake City.
“Where did you get that?” Abby asks when she wakes up again looking at the tray stocked with food.
“The kitchen..?” you answer even when it sounds more like an uncomprehending question.
“How do you get so much food?” She specifies suspicious and sits up as well as she can.
“Well some of it we harvest, some we find and we make a few.” You shrug your shoulders fluffing up her pillow to make her more comfortable and placing the tray on her legs. “It’s usually ingredients that can’t go bad. Nothing fancy but it keeps your stomach full.”
“How’s Lev doing?” she questions with concern biting into a sadly looking sandwich.
“He’s fine. Just needs to sleep and replenish some energy. It wouldn’t hurt you either.” You smile at her.
“I’m sorry, you seem to know me and I haven’t even caught your name.” Abby questions.
“Y/n. I used to work at Saint Mary’s… with your dad.” You explain warily.
“Oh. How come I don’t remember you?” She wonders with a saddened face.
“Well, I wasn’t exactly the most popular kid back then. Plus, I looked a lot different… I’ve grown a lot.” You laugh, unlike Abby you weren’t exactly part of the elite group, just an occasional friend. “But Leah sent me some of your photos.”
“Huh? Really?” Abby asks with her mouth full of bread.
“Yeah, just a few. To know what y’all looked like grown up.” You pass her the photos you set aside earlier. “What happened to them?”
“They’re all dead.” She states with remorse in her voice looking through your photos. “Danny, Manny, Nora… Owen was the one who wanted to come here. He was having a baby with Mel, and they’re all fucking dead now.”
“How?” You ask carefully.
“That girl, the bitten one from Salt Lake City. I found the guy who saved her, the one who killed my dad. And she killed all my friends.” She angrily explains throwing the photos away. “I let her live and she killed them all.”
“I’m sorry.” You tenderly caress her shoulder and she leans her head on you. “I’m really sorry Abs. But you’re gonna be safe here. We won’t let anyone hurt you.”
“I’m just so fuckin’ tired of it. All those Jackson folks.” She complains resting her weight on you. “The Rattlers, Scars, WLF…”
“I know, I get it. We’re gonna make it alright. You just need to get your strength back now.” You gently stroke her hair. “We’ll make it just a bad memory. Everything will be okay.”
And she wanted to believe you. Abby wanted to find the hope that was long lost for her. You knew what it’s like to be left completely alone in this world, and it was a terrifying feeling. Now you could offer her care and safety, even if it doesn’t heal the empty wound gaping after her friends and family. You’re gonna be her anchor in the terrifying nightmares, the pillar under the weight of her severe hurt.

Fool me too
Pairing: Lady Lesso x reader
Genre: fluff
Words: 1000
Note: Happy April Fool's! And Easter Monday! This day just calls for a fic like this.
Tumblr media
You could have expected it. Should have, really. As the freezing cold water slowly seeps into your clothes being watered down from head to toe, you’re more disappointed in yourself rather than your students. They were the offsprings of pure evil after all, rotten to their very core. After the salt and sugar switched in your morning coffee, stinky mushrooms exploding in your office and poisonous vines sneakily hanging from the hallway’s ceilings, you should have known better than to step into your classroom without checking it out first.
April fools was after all a very popular concept amongst the nevers so you would be almost let down if they didn’t try to achieve some misdemeanors this week. And it was only Monday. How are you gonna get through the whole week you had no idea. Maybe it’s time to put on one of those scary armors that roam the corridors or just take a vacation. That however would be a sign of weakness and cowardice and that was foreign to you as a fellow never.
So you teach the lesson proudly in your wet clothes and at the end leave after all your students. You carefully turn every corner, looking out for any clues on their next trap. You spend the rest of your day watching over your shoulder and rather carefully tasting everything you’re about to eat or drink. You’re determined to not let them fool you even one more time, the score already being too prone in their favor. They keep teasing you a little longer and you’ll come up with a payback so severe they could never see it coming.
Clearly you weren’t observant enough tho because as you’re walking over the bridge talking with Dovey after today’s dinner, she steps on a wire that activates a mechanism which pushes you both over the edge into the muddy water. As if you weren’t soaked and humiliated enough for today, as you crawl out from the water to the small beach by the castle, a thrower full of confetti and glitter explodes over you. The laughter of your students fades as they run away, hopefully at least a little scared of your possible revenge.
You make your way into your bedroom, luckily without any other stupid pranks in your way. Your wife is already comfortably sprawled over the sofa in front of the lit fireplace and the flames dance over her face making her ginger hair shine more than usual. You sigh heavily as you close the door and she looks over at you from the book in her lap, clearly finding your state very amusing.
“Shut up.” You warn her before she can even say anything.
“I wasn’t going to laugh at you.” Leonora says but her face betrays her.
“Yeah, very funny. This is all your doing anyway.” You pester her.
“How come?” Lesso questions with her head tilted slightly to the side.
“You raised them like this. Audacious and impudent. You’re responsible for their stupid jokes.” But even you knew you couldn’t blame all the student’s effrontery on their dean.
“Why don’t you rather go clean up in the bathroom?” She offers instead.
“If YOU try to fool with me I swear to heavens I’m gonna divorce you.“ You warn your wife as you make your way to the sink.
Lucky for you, or more for her, she didn’t play any childish pranks on you and you took a long shower without her interrupting. It took a lot of effort getting all the mud and confetti off yourself and you’ll be lucky if your dress is still gonna be washable and wearable. There was still some glitter in your hair and skin you couldn’t get rid of, but it’ll have to be enough for now. When you return to the warmed-up bedroom, your wife is still sitting in the same position reading her book.
“If it’s going to make you feel better, I’m gonna threaten them all with a good long stay in the doom room tomorrow.” She proposed as she extended the blanket draped over her legs for you to sit under it next to her.
“It’s fine. I’ll just have to be more alert. It’s a good practice.” You admit, not really mad at your students anymore. “You should see my office, it’s a disaster.”
“It can’t be that bad, can it? I’m sure you won’t let them fool you again.” Leonora comforts you as she kisses your forehead.
“It’s not bad, it’s even worse. This morning they switched the sugar and salt, so my breakfast was ruined. My office stinks like a hundred years old troll and I had to spend a whole hour teaching soaking wet. I could hardly get a word out over the teeth chattering. Which I’m sure they found pretty amusing.” You explain all that happened in your horrendous day. “Mother-fucking stupid April fools.”
“Well it sure will be better tomorrow.” Lesso instinctively tries to warm you up.
“I should probably be proud of them for succeeding, but they better watch out tomorrow cause I’m coming back after them.” You admit, picking on the loose strands of the blanket.
“I’m sure it will settle down, they just got too excited for today.” She admits, if there’s anything that bores the nevers it’s repeating stuff they already succeeded in.
“Yeah yeah, whatever. I’m tasting the sugar before I put it in my coffee this week though.” You remind both yourself and her reaching out for your own book that was waiting for you on the coffee table.
You settle down next to Leonora leaning on her shoulder as you get back to reading your own unfinished book before going to bed. A cozy, calm, silent evening was what you needed right now after a day full of surprises and pranks. Little did you know she wasn’t really paying attention to the words in her book anymore, already planning her revenge on her students for tormenting her beloved wife.

Good enough for a hero
Pairing: Andromache of Scythia x reader
Genre: angst
Words: 900
Note: Another fic for Andy after a while, nothing big but I hope you'll like it anyway. It's inspired by this amazing song.
Death wasn‘t a stranger to you. You met regularly like old friends, under the cloak of night or at the hand of your enemies. You weren’t exactly proud of your job, robbery and fraud being your routine tools. Being immortal however gave you a certain advantage when it came to dangerous situations. It’s not like you always wanted to become the villain, there was a time you tried to do good. A time where you did your best to become part of the group of heroes, yet despite your exceeding efforts they never accepted you as one of them.
As you leave a high security building with the prized possession secured in your hands, you recall the months and years you spent trying to prove yourself to Andy and her group of soldiers. The exhausting training sessions where she took your life in a blink of an eye if you weren’t fast enough. The nights you spent eating dinner alone because you didn’t earn your place at the table. Mornings you were woken up with a bucked of freezing water, the excuse being they were trying to give you actual army training you lacked.
“Get up. We don’t need cowards.” Andromache gritted over her teeth after beating you down for the hundredth time.
“Can’t we finish for today.” You pleaded as your sweat mixed with the blood trickling from your bruised face.
“We won’t finish until you get at least a punch in.” She decided uncompromisingly kicking you in the side.
“That wasn’t necessary.” You grumble as you stand up with difficulty.
“It won’t be necessary after you become more than just a useless burden.” Andy said venomously and run at you once again, choking you until your weakened body passed out this time.
After years of tremendous torture excused by the higher purpose, you couldn’t take it anymore. So you got up at the middle of the night and left without a trace. If you are not good enough to become a hero, you’ll become someone much worse. Maybe you didn’t fit their strict requirements but on the street you quickly became friends with the night life and everything that happens under the brim of darkness. You found a group of shady traders whose business was hardly legal, but you didn’t care anymore. They accepted you in and you proved yourself to be actually quite skilled.
“Another successful hunt.” Tony, the leader of your group praised.
“What is it?” You questioned, usually stealing gold or original paintings to sell on the black market.
“It’s the Vestonic Venus, our buyer offered a lot for this piece.” He explains as he puts the package in his coat. “Alright, let’s go home. Good job guys.”
They drop you off a few streets from your flat and you finish the road on foot. It wasn’t anything fancy even though your job allowed you to squander money from time to time. You still preferred the modest minimalistic life, it’s how you made sure to stay hidden from both the government and the group of immortals who definitely wouldn’t be happy knowing all these jobs were your doing. It was questionable what you’ve become, but as long as it kept you fed and safe, you didn’t really care. You were never one to play for a higher moral ground anyway.
The next morning you visit your favorite coffee shop in the area, having a weakness for a good morning cup of coffee. As you’re waiting for your order of cappuccino and a blueberry muffin, you look around the calm room, unintentionally meeting eyes with a lady at one of the tables. She was sitting in a booth with a young girl you didn’t recognize. She looked tired and somehow older than the many years ago, and her hair was cut short this time, but you’d recognize the face that spit so many hurtful lies at you anywhere. Somehow in the whole wide world Andy found you once again.
“Miss Y/n.” The barista announces and you grab your paper cup and bag and practically run out.
You weren’t fast enough though cause you were hardly three steps out the door when her strong hand catches your arm, forcing you to look at the woman you despised most in this entire world and whole century. Unlike you, dressed in an elegant spring coat, she wore a worn-down jacket she probably owned even back when you first met her and her whole being looked tired and worn out, including her clothes. On the contrary the look in her eyes was full of resolve and determination.
“Y/n…” She starts warily.
“Don’t.” You warn her. “I don’t wanna talk to you.”
“Wait. A lot has happened okay? There’s this girl, Nile...” Andy starts explaining to you with urgency.
“I don’t care! I want to have nothing to do with you people!” You pull your hand out of her grasp. “Leave me alone. I don’t fuckin care about your business, so whatever it is, go bother someone else with it.”
You scold her and turn around quickly pacing away. You couldn’t comprehend the audacity she had to talk to you after all those years and want things from you without as much as an apology or acknowledgement of all the things she did to you. You couldn’t think of what would be so important to overcome her passionate hatred for you.

Finally home
Pairing: Abby Anderson x reader
Genre: fluff
Words: 1400
Note: So this is my 30th fic and it's also the first day of spring so I wanted to put out this little thing that's been living in my head rent free lately. It is far from the fandoms I normally write for but here we are. I'm warning you the events of the game are kinda swithed around to fit the story. I hope you'll like it anyway.
Tumblr media
Life hasn’t been easy on you. From the moment your mother sent you to a Firefly base when you were still just a child, you had to fight and fend for yourself. Earning everything you had, contributing to be fed, helping to have a place to sleep, growing up has been tough. And still you could thank heavens you were placed with the Fireflies who protected you and took care of you in the apocalypse. You imagined the worst thing that could happen to someone was to be left alone. You had friends amongst the other children, adults who brought you up, and Abby.
Abby was never too close nor too far from you, having closer friends but always keeping an eye out for you. You were inseparable back in the Salt Lake City, and even when your group disbanded, you followed her anywhere she wanted to go, your next refuge being the WLFs. You never questioned her, never doubted her decisions. Not until she killed Joel Miller. You understood, Abby’s dad being the closest thing you had to your own, but even after she leveled the score, the hunger for revenge didn’t settle. The more ruthless she became the more you drifted apart.
All the tension or fondness was lost in the days and weeks she spent away hunting down members of Ellie’s group. If you were once friends, now you were hardly two people who used to know each other. Yet you never lost your hope in her, believing she’ll come to her senses and actually live her life focused on herself and not the blood of others. The rumors of Fireflies regrouping gave you hope. You’d finally find a home again together.
“Abby please, fuck this WLF shit and let’s just go back.” You reasoned with her, when you met by luck after another few months not hearing from each other.
“I still have shit to do here.” She argued unwavering in her stance.
“Like what? We both know Isaac’s plan is trash.” You furrowed your brows at her.
“Just because you’re not at the top of the game doesn’t mean everyone else is dumber than you Y/n.” She scoffed at you.
“Excuse me, I don’t give a shit what ranking he gave to anyone!” You folded you hands over your chest.
“Yeah yeah, just because you’re low. Don’t pretend you wouldn’t like being a commander.” She taunts you.
“Now you’re just being mean. You know I don’t give a fuck about that.” You weren’t going to let her off that easily this time.
“You’re just jealous. Go run back to the Fireflies where you’re cared for like the lost puppy you are and leave the real job to the big girls.” She levels you with a look of cruelty and disdain.
“Fine. But don’t run back to me when you get lost again.” Shaking your head you leave to pack your backpack so you can have a head start for when the WLF finds out you’re a traitor.
You didn’t give a shit anymore for any one of them, you didn’t want to join any petty fights for territory of supplies. You wanted to live as close to a normal person as anyone could and maybe, just maybe try and help save the world somehow, or make it just a little bit better. You couldn’t do that at the WLF, but with the Fireflies you could at least try. They weren’t saints, but in comparison to the WLF and Seraphites they were your safest option. Maybe it was finally time to let Abby go her way after the countless times you tried to save her from the fate she was choosing for herself.
As you’re packing to leave, you hear Abby in an argument with Mel. You didn’t want to eavesdrop, but you simply couldn’t help yourself. “You’re a piece of shit, Abby.” Is all you can make out before Mel slams the door and you leave in fear of being discovered watching their moment. You didn’t agree, but you couldn’t argue against it either. The more time passed on the more questionable choices Abby was making. The last thing you wanted to do was abandon Abby, yet that’s what she was continuously forcing you to do. Maybe you needed to listen to your own advice and start focusing on your own life instead of others.
While she runs off to do god knows what with god knows who, you travel to the Catalina Island alone. It was a loose thread, but it was still a better shot than nothing. Plus it wasn’t like you could turn back and crawl back to the WLF begging for their forgiveness, if there even was any WLF anymore. And to your luck, the Fireflies excitedly accept you back, happy to regain one of Anderson’s medical students you used to be back in Salt Lake City before your mission to save the population and find a cure went to trash. For months you watched out for any rumors of tracks of Abby but all the leads run cold. The group couldn’t contact her even when she made a contact with them some time after you joined, promising to arrive in a few days. But few days turned into months and Abby Anderson was considered lost and dead, even though no one talked about it or mentioned it.
Until you found her. She and one of the new boys she met, Lev, in a boat arrived at the island in a pitiful state of barely living. Being part of the medical team now, you treated their injuries and took care of nursing them back to health. While you left Lev to be watched over by the team, you couldn’t stand leaving Abby in such cold and unwelcoming place unknown to her. So you took her to rest in your own apartment not too far away, laying her down on your washed out pillows but in warm sheets and clean duvets none the less.
“Y/n.” She states with a horse voice she clearly hasn’t used for some time.
“Shh, it’s okay. I’ve got you now.” You assure her cleaning her bleeding wounds.
As she falls back into her delirious dreams you treat her injuries dressing them up in a clean white gauze, finding many new cuts and bruises, some of which you could hardly imagine what caused them. Even her face was littered with wounds deep enough to leave a nasty scar. She lost a noticeable amount of muscle and her once toned arms seemed weaker now cover in blood. Her dirty blonde hair you often braided for her were messily cut off too short and covered in layers of dirt and soil.
“Hey, you need to drink something.” You carefully wake her up to get her started back on some fluids as soon as possible.
“Hmh...” She clearly wanted to say something but she hardly had the energy to even stay conscious.
“Don’t, it’s gonna be okay. Everything’s going to be okay.” You pacify her after you half force some water into her.
“Don’t leave!” She catches your arm weakly with the most scared and vulnerable look you’ve ever seen on her.
“I won’t.” you assure her as you lay down in bed next to her, careful not to touch any of her wounds to not cause her any more discomfort or pain.
“Just hold me.” Abby pleads with you, but she didn’t have to ask you twice.
“I’ve got you. You’ll be okay.” You comfort her as you stroke her short hair and hold her shivering shoulders. “Everything is going to be fine.”
“I’m sorry.” Abby whines halfway unconscious again.
“Don’t be. You’re home. You are cared for.” You whisper to her as you rock her weakened body back to sleep.
You give her a little kiss into the crown of her hair. She was still the most beautiful and precious thing to you, no matter her crimes and punishments. It will grow back eventually. Her injuries will heal, and all of this will become just a faded memory over time. You’ll help her fight off any scarecrows and demons of her past, in her dreams and in the reality. She was finally back, and you won’t ever let her leave again. You both already lost too much in your hunt for revenge and justice. You finally found your home.

What have I done
Pairing: Queen Ravenna x reader
Genre: angst
Words: 1200
Note: I'm back with some Ravenna angst, hope you'll enjoy it as much as I liked writing it.
Tumblr media
For as long as you could remember you always lived at the castle of the king, your mother being one of his and his wife’s most trusted maids. You were still pretty young when the queen died, leaving the old man and his daughter Snow White in distress. You grew up in the happy kingdom of thrill and joy that started to slowly decay with every year you all mourned your late queen. But then, just as you turned into a lovely grown woman and got your own job at the castle, the king found a new wife, queen Ravenna. They all seemed so happy it felt unreal. Not long after however the old king joined his late wife in the gardens of Eden and all that was left was her majesty and the clueless princess, who ran away within the next year.
You could hardly understand it all and the land was unstable in times of such rapid changes. When you became the queen’s own maid, being young and freshly employed, Snow White was already wanted all over the country. To you, however, it wasn’t much concern. Your job was to make sure the queen’s comfortable in her clothes and shoes, massaging her feet and warming up her bed for the night. In the difficult times of doubt and uncertainty you slowly became her confidant. She could tell you anything, knowing you wouldn’t tell, and even if you did, no one would believe such unimportant being as her maid. From a confidant you became her friend and from a friend you build your way un to being her lover. You would never take any inappropriate step but when she invited you to her, how could you say no the most beautiful graceful being you have ever sat your eyes on?
You were still her servant willing to do anything and everything she ever asked for and giving her all you were, all you had and all you could ever get. You were completely and utterly taken by her glory, confidence and pride. It even made you a little proud yourself that the queen chose you over all the other men and women who fell at her feet every minute of the day. You took her joy and anger, anything she needed to release, all her good days and all the bad ones ended up with you being used in her bed. You could hardly ever stay, having to leave her warm cozy chambers to return to your cold and unwelcoming bed with a hard mattress and rat-gnawed pillow the moment she was satisfied with you.
With how fast and wholeheartedly you fell for the woman there was no stopping, no pleasure and no amount of kisses would be ever enough for you. You yearned for her presence and body as hard as the desert yearns for water. You needed her, longed for her at every second of the day. You could merge in the tightest hug on earth, eat each other in the most desperate of kisses and it still wouldn’t be enough. Yet lately it seemed her hunger exceeded yours, she needed release, assurances and the plain feeling of power. You became her most glorious possession, using you and savoring you at any moment she wanted to. With looking for more power and rule over the kingdom she became insatiable.
As you visited her in her throne room, she frantically walked around unable to sit still, her hair flying behind her with every turn like a veil of gold. To you she was still ethereal, the most beautiful of women on this earth. No matter how many worried wrinkles her forehead sported or the stressed pout on her lips. She was like a fairy with a flame that pulled in every moth around. It was obvious to you she was at her wits end, even if she’d never admit to it, being concerned with things you had no idea about.
“My queen.” You address her carefully. “May I help you?”
“Ugh, no. Leave me alone.” She hardly even spared you a glance.
“Maybe I can help you relieve some stress.” You tried again. “At least with a melissa tea?”
“I said get lost!” Ravenna angrily shouts at you and harshly slaps your face. “Now get out of my sight!”
“I’m sorry…” You whine holding your cheek with tears evident in your eyes.
“Oh don’t play that innocent little girl with me you spawn!” your emotional reaction infuriates her even more. “Your father never loved you and your mother rather died so that she didn’t have to be with you anymore. I don’t want to see you here again, you hear me!?”
You could hardly listen to her words anymore, running out of the room to not give her the satisfaction of seeing you cry. She liked hurting you, she liked having the dominant power over anyone. Yet never has she been so cruel and evil to you. At that moment, you believed her. You believed she wanted to get rid of you, to never see you again. So that’s what you did. You packed the few little things you owned and you left, your heart breaking into million little pieces as you left the only home you ever knew and the woman you loved so hard you could die for her. Yet you’d do anything to make her happy and if she desired you gone you’ll leave.
Ravenna on the other hand got her temper under control once again in a few days, establishing somewhat steady rule over her kingdom. All she wanted now was to enjoy a little piece of quiet, preferably with the tea you always made for her with the littlest bit of mint and honey and with your massage and presence. But after she ringed her bell to call you to her, a different girl came in your place, taking care of her with her gaze fixed on the ground.
“Where’s Y/n?” she barked at the girl, her mood immediately worsening.
“I don’t know madam, she left.” The maid answered fearfully.
“What do you mean she left?” no one had the audacity to leave her service on their own.
“She said you expelled her, so she left.” The girl shrugs looking at her queen this time.
“That is ridiculous! Bring me my guard.” She orders the girl who bows to her and leaves.
Not long after comes the commander of her guards, coming up with a plan for your search with her. The army turned every corner of the castle upside down to find you, and they rummage the whole city, but you’re nowhere to be found. Ravenna sends out unit after unit to travel to all the corners of her kingdom to find you, fearing what might happen to you in the wild and dangerous world. She wasn’t sure you were even still in her kingdom or alive, and that worried her infinitely. She didn’t realize how attached she grew to your presence and joyfulness, enjoying your mannerisms and easily pleased outgoing nature.
“What have I done.” She whispers into the darkness of her chambers feeling cold and unwelcoming without you in them.

The biggest star
Pairing: Queen Ravenna x reader
Genre: fluff
Words: 1500
Note: It's another International Women's Day so let's celerate with something a little different this time, I got inspired by the Pearl's quote. There's not many Ravenna fics being written so I hope you'll like this one.
Tumblr media
With the early morning sunrise you got out of bed ready to feed the few animals you took care of at your parents’ farm and prepare the dough for a fresh loaf of bread. Every morning started like this, ever since you could remember. You took care of your responsibilities and duties, cleaning around the house or taking care of some gardening. Your mother prepared all the goods you were going to be selling at the town market that day and your father tended to the fields and cattle.
“Don’t forget to get all the fresh eggs.” Your mom reminded you as you prepared today’s commodities.
“Yes mother.” You nod, no matter how old she had a habit of reminding you of everything, just to be sure.
The road to the town square was bumpy as always but lucky enough you didn’t live far away enough to encounter any robbers or muggers. There was a stall by stall, your neighbors selling baked pastries or meat. Your family’s business was more in eggs, milk and vegetables. You helped reach, pack and hand over packets amongst packets of goods, happy that today is gonna be a good day for your business. With the money you make you’ll buy other things you weren’t able to provide for yourself like flour or leaven.
“Mother, can I go take a look around?” You begged tired of standing in one place all day.
“Fine, but don’t take too long.” She waved you off.
Your eyes sparkled with joy and you took off exploring the town you knew all too well already. Back when you used to go to school you traveled here by foot almost daily, but since you turned thirteen you were tied up at the farm with work. You’ve learnt to read and count, but there wasn’t much more needed in your life. You lived day by day identical to the previous one and it was incredibly tiring to you. You wanted to see more of this world. Live in all the places the merchants who sometimes visited your town told everyone about.
As you neared a group of women with one of the queen’s guards in the middle, the gathering peaked your interest. It was known that queen Ravenna wasn’t one to visit around or get out of her castle too often, and the same was true for her guard. Sure, some of the lower ranked soldiers always overlooked gatherings like this, but this man’s uniform proved he was ranked much higher and was one of the closest to the queen, so his appearance was certainly unusual.
“Slowly, ladies, you all can take your chance tomorrow.” He commanded the crowd giving out some instruction slips. “Here, you, take one too.”
He pushed a pamphlet in your hand as soon as you got close enough to be within his reach. Reading the few lines written on there, you learned that the queen is looking for a handful of new maids and ladies fitting at the court to keep her company. Could this be the chance you’ve been waiting for? All the ladies chatted around you about how interesting and undeniable chance this was. One that comes only once in life. That got you convinced, even if they didn’t choose you in the end, you wouldn’t be able to live with yourself knowing you passed on such a chance.
When you got home that evening, you prepared dinner with a bit more enthusiasm and ate faster than anyone has ever seen you do before, ready for this day to end so the next one can begin. You took care of braiding your hair before going to bed to have some pretty waves in the morning, cleaning your face and brushing your teeth extra good. As you went to bed, you took a moment to pray to the universe.
“Please lord, make me the biggest star the world has ever known. So that I make it far, far away from this place.” You didn’t know what star you wanted to be, but as far as it got you a different life, you didn’t care.
You could hardly sleep from the excitement for the next day, rising even before the sun could and running around your chores the fastest and best you could. You got out your best dress you only used for weddings, funerals and church visits, hoping it would be good enough for the queen. Will you get to meet her? From what you heard her grace and beauty was like no other, and her magnificence preceded her. Ready for breakfast and to get to the part of town stated at the pamphlet in time, you arrive at the table.
“And where are you going off to in your best dress?” your mother wondered.
“There’s a selection for queen’s escort today in town, I thought I’d give it a shot.” You admitted unsure of your parents’ reaction.
“Queen’s escort? You?” she scoffed. “You better not slack on your duties because of this nonsense.”
“Of course not mother.” You didn’t expect your family to be supportive of your goals but it still stinged.
When you finally arrived at the town hall where the choosing was taking place, there were some more guards and other officiants. You’ve learnt they are the ones responsible for the first selection, picking only a few of the dozens of girls who auditioned to come to the castle and start learning all the tasks that come with living along the queen. Some would be then chosen as maids, some would find themselves amongst chefs or seamstresses and only a few would get the chance to become the queen’s escort. Or you could fail completely and they’ll send you back home as fast as you came.
As they picked and chose what girls to take with them and who to turn down, the lucky ones squealed with happiness and the other ones cried. When it came to your turn, two of the men examined you with eagle eye, finally deciding to let you pass. A big rock fell off your heart so hard it must have been heard through the hall. You were in. You were gonna come to the castle and learn to become one of queen’s closest people. You couldn’t believe your luck. As you stepped in their carriage and let it take you towards your new destiny, you hoped to not let anyone down, especially yourself.
As you arrived at the castle and got settled in crowded rooms for servants and valets, another harsh regime started. You spent days and weeks learning and observing all the different tasks performed around the place. Every night you went to sleep exhausted and every morning you had to get up with a smile on your face. But as some of the girls started falling off your hard endeavor started to pay off. After a few weeks you started learning around the queen, your first meeting being unforgettable.
“Good morning.” She greeted you from her throne and you all bowed low. “I see we have some great adepts here. I hope you all will raise to the occasion and become wonderful.”
She was fierce and strong, that much was evident. All the stories of her beauty fell short as she looked like the embodiment of an angel to you. It was a moment you couldn’t get out of your head for a long time and every time your training got hard, you reminded yourself that this is exactly what you’re going through all this for. To serve the queen however she pleases. Her charm and grace hardly left your mind and with every meeting you worshipped her more and more. You were so smitten with her character and glamor you felt like you could hardly breath sometimes.
After two months spent with the queen you all were finally done with your training ready to become permanent residents of the castle. You hoped and prayed wherever they assigned you you’d get to meet her at least sometime. Only being in her company would make you eternally grateful. You didn’t know if you could live it the same place knowing she could be right behind the wall yet never seeing her really. Some of the girls who became your friends over the time were sent to the kitchen, some became maids and charladies. There it was again, the stone on your heart hoping to not be sent home after all your efforts, hard work and dedication.
“And you.” The queen herself stood in front of you in all her beauty. “How would you like becoming my personal escort?”
Your eyes lit up with her offer, hardly believing what your ears were hearing. Little did you know your infatuation with her impressed her and she too enjoyed your particular company. This was going to be the start of a wonderful future for you both.
“Yes, my queen.” You bowed to Ravenna stepping towards your new exciting life.

Take a day off
Pairing: Lady Lesso x reader
Genre: fluff
Words: 1000
Note: This request was very specific but i did my best to follow it as closely as I could so I hope you'll like it. I hope we can get out of the shadowban, or did people just stop reading?
Tumblr media
Warm and snuggly, that’s how you felt with the rays of sun on your face when you woke up. It made you not want to get out of bed, in the best-case scenario for the whole day. Your girlfriend laid right next to you enjoying the depths of sleep with her red hair sprawled over the pillows. Digging lower into the blankets you felt a weird wetness between your legs, hurriedly getting up realizing you forgot about your upcoming period.
“Shit.” You jumped out of bed forgetting all about the sweetness and laziness of the morning.
Running to the bathroom you notice your pajama pants are bled through. In a hurry you try to minimize the damage, washing the bottoms in cold water to get the blood out. You tried to do anything and everything to get everything back in order and stressed to do so before your partner wakes up. Returning in the room hoping to not disturb your girlfriend, you find her stripping the sheets and covers. A cold feeling of embarrassment and shame washes over you as you couldn’t clean up after yourself in time.
“I’m sorry…” you mumble with your gaze shamefully fixed on the ground.
“What are you sorry for?” Lesso looks at you incomprehensibly.
“I didn’t mean to.” You sniffle a little trying to suppress the tears welling up in your eyes fidgeting uncomfortably.
“Oh honey, it’s just a period. Everyone has it, it’s nothing to be sorry about.” Leonora lets go of the sheets to come and hug you to her, shocked by your reaction as you pull away a little.
“Please don’t be mad at me.” Her hug and tenderness made you cry even more, partly with embarrassment and partly with relief that she didn’t immediately scream at you.
“Of course I’m not mad at you. How did you come up with that?” The dean could hardly understand your reactions or reasoning.
“Well… Chris broke up with me for my period stains.” You admit even more embarrassed having to explain the end of your last relationship.
“Baby it’s nothing to be shameful about, and if they did, they were just a stupid immature idiot.” She assures you kissing the top of your head. “How about I make you some nice warm bath, hm? You can relax and relieve the pain a little.”
“Yeah I’d like that.” You mumble nodding slightly.
Leonora puts the laundry into the washing machine and filles up the tub with hot water, bubbles and relaxing essential oils. You didn’t have many opportunities to take a day off and just lay down and relax, so she decided this is going to be one of those days, starting with a nice bath. She helps you undress and into the water, washing your back and massaging your shoulders how you used to do for her when she was stressed out or stretched herself too thin with responsibilities.
“Thank you, you are the best.” You whine, your worries washed away along with some of the cramps pain.
“No, you are. You never have to be ashamed of being the wonderful woman you are, love.” She soothes you with another kiss.
After washing you up Leonora wraps you up in a fuzzy bathrobe and puts clean bedding onto the bed, snuggling you in. The sun that you were content with almost an hour ago irritated you now as you tried to get comfortable with the pain and feeling of hunger you suddenly had. Periods were always a little crazy and unpredictable.
“Mph, can you get the blinds?” you ask your girlfriend covering your eyes in annoyance.
“Sure. Is there anything else I can get you? Nice warm cup of tea? Or hot chocolate? Some sandwiches?” Lesso offered closing the window sills and creating a dim atmosphere in the room.
“Yes.” You nod and snuggle under the covers.
“Yes to all of it?” Leonora laughs a little.
“If it’s not a problem, please.” You kindly specify.
“Okay.” She gives you one last kiss before leaving the room to get all the food she could find. “I’ll be right back.”
“You don’t have to hurry…” you assure her half asleep already. “Ow, or maybe you do.” You change your mind with a wave of period pain.
Leonora roamed the kitchens for anything that could be of use to her and you could like, warm cup of tea, a bottle of water, sandwiches with different meat in them and a bowl of soup. She also got a few sweet pastries in case you were craving a sugar bomb for breakfast this morning. With a tray stocked with food she returned into the room setting it down on your bedside table.
“I got a few of everything.” She strokes your hair seeing your face contorted in pain.
“Thank you.” You squeak out over your cramps.
“Here, let me get you a warm blanket.” Leonora got a blanket from the armchair sat by the fireplace that was still nicely warmed up. “That should help with the pain.”
“What would I do without you.” You sighed content with her care.
“Be the incredibly strong and wonderful and beautiful woman you always are.” Lesso answers without missing a beat as she gets into her side of the bed.
“Will you read me something?” You ask her not having the energy to read yourself but wanting to listen to her voice telling you stories.
“Sure.” She agrees hugging you to her and opening the book waiting for her on her nightstand.
As she draws little circles on your back with her nails and reads to you, you slowly drift off to another peaceful sleep. Leonora could hardly imagine a better morning than having you snuggled securely in her arms having no other things to worry about than your wellbeing. If this was the happy ending everyone always warbled about, she was quite happy to find it with you and she was going to do everything in her power to keep it.

Stupid test mark
Pairing: Lady Lesso x reader (platonic)
Genre: fluff
Words: 800
Note: This request probably took me longer than it shoud have but I hope you'll still like it. Thank you so much for trusting me with it.
Tumblr media
The school year was nearing it’s end, which meant the professors put twice as much pressure on you. You could hardly count all the assignments and tests in the last few weeks. You wanted to do good, even better since you studied at the school of evil and it’s students were notoriously known for bad grades and behavior. You wanted to get all the best marks and shove it down the good students’ throats. Your striving was deemed half useless by the grade you got in deadly potions class however. You did your best to study and prepare for the exam, but apparently your best still wasn’t good enough to get at least a C+.
It was all you could think about when you read your books long into the night or absentmindedly rummaged through the food on your plate. Even your skin got paler than usual thanks to the lack of sleep and nutrition. Something the Evers picked on you for. As you went from one class to another, you could hardly pay attention being too concerned with what other grades and classes you could screw up in. You didn’t want your overall mark to drop even more, yet every time you tried to focus on your studies the C- was right in front of your eyes, mocking you and reminding you that you failed and will never be good enough again.
“Y/l/n!” Lady Lesso slammed her cane into your table startling you. “Would you mind paying attention in my class!?”
“I… I’m sorry miss.” You were too intimidated to even look her in the eyes, opting to point your sight into the table instead.
“Eyes on the blackboard.” She warned you, not in the mood to have to reprimand you again.
You did what she said, keeping your eyes on the lecture even through the stinging feeling in them. The last thing you wanted was to disappoint your dean. You already felt like a failure, you didn’t need anyone else to think so about you too. You wanted people to be proud of you, to say “this Never made it in life”. You wanted to be adored and admired, not made fun of and picked on. This all swirled in your mind so loudly you didn’t even notice the ring bell announcing the end of class.
“Y/n?” Lady Lesso called out to you with a noticeably lighter tone. “You seem to be quite unpresent today. Mind enlightening me on why that is?”
“I’m sorry, I just have a lot on my mind. I didn’t want to get distracted in your class.” You tried to avoid any confrontation.
“Nonsense. You are one of my best students and you always pay attention, what got you so unfocused?” Lesso pressed you a bit.
“Well… I got a really bad grade from my potions exam. I studied really hard, but turns out my best isn’t good enough. I’m a failure.” You admitted avoiding her sight.
“Oh my. Do you think I’m bad at my job?” The dean challenged you with a pointed look.
“Uh, what? No, of course not!” How could she think that based on what you said?
“Then where do you get the audacity to say that the best of my Nevers is a failure?” she folded her hands over her chest.
“Um… I… I don’t…” you were at a complete loss of words.
“Don’t you ever think about saying such bullshit again.” Lesso put a comforting hand on your shoulder.
“I’m sorry.” You apologize for like a third time in the last five minutes.
“You are one of the most talented Nevers I’ve seen in a long time. You could be the reason Evil strikes a win once again. I know that’s a lot of pressure for a young mind like yours, but I wouldn’t be saying it if I wasn’t convinced you can handle it.” Lady Lesso declared with a deep look straight into your eyes.
“I… thank you Lady Lesso.” You didn’t really know what to say to all the expectations she had from you, but you hoped to live up to them.
“There’s no need to thank me. You have great things ahead of you, things some stupid test mark can’t take away.” She winked at you, building your confidence up. “Now, I want you to forget about some foolish potions class and focus on the things you have coming up. I have no doubt you’ll be graduating this year on the top of your class with the progress you’ve made.”
“I will. Thank you.” You nod with a sincere smile and leave her class much more enthusiastic.
If Lady Lesso thought you are the one to do great things in life, who were you to say otherwise? She surely must know what she’s talking about.

Beautiful baby bump
Pairing: Queen Ravenna x reader
Genre: fluff
Words: 800
Note: Thank you so much for this request, let's celebrate the New Year, my birthday, Valentine's and 250 followers with this as it's the first fic for a new character I'll write for! It's a little shorter but I hope you'll like it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Another long day of adjudicating and governing, Ravenna was ready to fall to bed exhausted and tense. The whole day of sitting in the slightly uncomfortable throne did nothing for her back and the heavy crown strained her neck. She wouldn’t trade her job for any other, but it still had its disadvantages. As the sun was setting down and she had only a few subjects left to see, she felt like the definition of “heavy the head that wears the crown.”
As she left the crown room heading towards her chambers, she couldn’t wait to see you. Any day was made better by the minutes she spent with you. Opening the heavy doors of your shared room, she noticed you weren’t alone. Your maid was keeping you company, massaging your swollen ankles and praising your baby bump. She couldn’t help but feel a ping of jealousy, having to spend the whole day separated from you while some unimportant servant gets all your attention.
“You can leave us now.” She commands harsher than she had to and the maid gets up and leaves assured by your nod.
“You don’t have to be so rude to her.” You scold you wife with nothing but sweetness.
“I can’t help it, she gets you all for herself.” Ravenna complains while sitting next to you.
“She’s helping me around, you think I could even get out of bed with this huge boulder attached?” you explain discontently.
“It’s beautiful.” Ravenna assures you giving you a little kiss on the stomach to amplify her words.
“It’s obstructive and unattractive. I feel like a huge whale. You can’t find me beautiful like that..?” you had a hard time believing such words lately.
“Love, you’re growing a new life here. It’s nothing short of amazing. And it’s gonna be our baby. I could never love you more. Hardly anything could be more beautiful than that.” The sincerity was practically seeping off your wife as she caressed every inch of your stomach.
“Yea, whatever. Will you help me with a bath?” you tried your best to believe what she said but you couldn’t see yourself the way she saw you. All you saw was a big fat lady who couldn’t even reach her own shoes.
“Of course. Let me take care of you.” Ravenna agreed enthusiastically, she’ll show you how much better her care is instead of your maids.
As she prepared a bath of your favorite temperature, a little too hot even for her, she poured a few scented oils in just to make it a tad bit more special. Since you became pregnant you felt cold all the time and the cold stone walls of the castle did little to help you feel cuddled, so you needed your baths and blankets to be extra warm. As the bathtub filled, she helped you get up and strip your clothes, finding your slight embarrassment adorable. Settling you in she rubbed your shoulders and back, relieving some of your constant pain.
“That’s amazing.” You moaned throwing your head back in relief.
“All the best for you, my princess.” She kissed the top of your head and helped you wash your hair.
When you left the tub she snuggled you in a warm fuzzy robe, preparing the bed to get you settled in. As she spread out the blankets, a knock on the door interrupted her. Yet she put you in and made sure you’re comfortable before answering, hoping it’s nothing important. The last thing she wanted was to leave. You whined as she left you to open the door. To her unpleasant surprise it was your maid again.
“I came to prepare the warming embers…” she explained unsure, hardly being able to look into your wife’s stone-cold eyes.
“We can take care of our own bed. Now leave before I make sure you never come back.” Ravenna ushered her away and closed the door as the maid practically run away without as much as a curtsey.
“I told you not to be so harsh with her.” You scolded your wife again, you didn’t know what you’d do without the much needed help.
“And I told you I don’t like her.” She countered as she got in the bed with you. “Now come here for cuddles.”
That was an offer you couldn’t refuse, so you snuggled next to Ravenna letting her pet your hair and caress your back with light scrubs of her nails. Lately you didn’t see each other as much as you’d like to, but you knew her job was important and couldn’t be slacked off and you were quite frankly growing a whole new life inside you and needed your rest. You couldn’t wait to not be pregnant again but moments like this made it all worth it.

I hear the wedding bells
Pairing: Lady Lesso x reader
Genre: fluff
Words: 1500
Note: This is the last part of The evil witch and Bundle of sunshine. It may not be what some of you hoped for but it's how the story ends.
Tumblr media
Snow white dress, curled hair and a long veil, you felt like a princess. Like a real fairytale of your life. You couldn’t wait to marry the love of your life, one you never thought you’ll be able to find again. But she showed you over and over that you can count on her and she’ll stand by your side no matter what. She’d never let any harm go your way and she loved your daughter beyond measure.
“You’ll be the most beautiful bride.” Anemone tutted over you as she and Clarissa watched you trying on your dress.
“You already are beautiful.” Dovey clarified.
“Thank you. I’d never imagine I’d be here one day. I couldn’t do this without you.” You thanked them both, hardly being able to wait to see them standing by your side as your maids of honor.
The wedding was scheduled for the next month, a perfect time in the summer for the gardens to show their best bloom. But you’d get married in the darkest of dungeons if it meant spending the rest of your life with your beloved partner. She and your daughter were having a fund day outside with ice cream and playing by the pond, having chosen their suits and dresses days prior. Lately you felt like floating on cloud nine, everything in your life felt right. That’s what you thought until you saw the look on Lesso’s face as she waited for you propped up on a pillar.
“I don’t like that look…” you started uncertainly.
“I just need to have a talk with you.” Her efforts to calm you down were of no help.
“Well then talk, no need to be so theatrical about it.” You hoped for just a few weeks of peace and ease.
“I know I haven’t been the best in going about this in the past years, but I need to say this before you get married to the wrong person.” That put an immediate frown on your face. “I love you. You might not believe it, or try to deny it, but it’s the rightest truth there is. I am utterly and wholeheartedly in love with you.”
“Lesso stop. You can’t say things like this.” You were getting frustrated with her advances.
“It’s the truth! I don’t want you to get married without knowing it. I know you love me too.” At least she hoped so.
“I did! I did love you. Not anymore. you ruined me. You ruined my life and my happiness. I thought you’re gonna be it. My happy ending, my destiny, my fairytale. Now I see I was wrong. Someone who loved would never be able to do the things you did to me.” You took a deep breath to keep your composure. “I forgave you. For the sake of our child, for her happiness, I forgave you. But it can never be forgotten.”
“I know I hurt you, but if you’d just give me a chance to make things right…” she pleaded.
“You can’t make this right! I don’t want your apologies and courtship. I love Lonnie, alright? She’s the love of my life, my future, my sun, moon and stars, the reason I get up every day. She loves me more than anything in this world and I love her more than you could ever love me.” You almost felt like recitating your prepared wedding wows. “If you’d actually love me you’d let me go and be happy.”
“I want to fight for you, even if it’s the last thing I do.” Leonora didn’t want to give up on the family she could have had that easily.
“There was no fight to begin with! If you can’t be happy for me and wish me the best with the woman of my heart, maybe you should leave. That used to be you, but not anymore. And nothing would ever convince me to love you again. So please, for the sake of our family, let me go.” you didn’t want to lose her entirely from your life, more specifically from your daughter’s life, but if it has to be, you’ll manage.
“Could you really be happy with her? More than you were with me?” Maybe she really has to let you go and be happy with someone else, but the thought was crashing her small black heart.
“I already do. Oh my god, I love her so much it hurts sometimes. Harvesting all the stars in the bright night sky for her would never be enough.” You tried to show Leonora that she had no chance winning you over no matter how hard she tried. “We are over Leonora. You need to get over it. Love our daughter, live your own life like you always wanted to, find a hobby if you have to. Focus on yourself and let me do the same.”
You left her standing there not caring if she turns into a salt column anymore. You had your family, your life, and after a long time you were finally happy without feeling any guilt of what had to happen for you to get there. And if Leonora couldn’t do the same for herself, that’s her own problem to deal with. She doesn’t have to come to your wedding or wish you luck. But you sure hoped that for the benefit of your daughter she will.
The wedding day came before you knew it, Clarissa and Anemone helping you into your dress, standing by your side as you walked down the aisle towards your future wife sporting a beautiful white suit. Your daughter toddled in front of you. You read the most heartfelt wedding wows and cried over them even though you promised yourself not to. You left the flower arch as wife and wife. Saying your “I do” fluttered the most amazing butterflies in your stomach. You danced, sang, ate and laughed and you knew this is going to be a day you’ll remember forever.
“Congratulations.” Lesso came up to the pair of you. “I hope you’ll take a good care of her.”
“I will.” Lonnie assured, puffing her chest in pride. “The best care in the world.” She promised you with heart eyes.
The next weeks, months and years felt like a dream. Your daughter grew up to be the most beautiful princess, your wife showered you every day with love and Leonora found her own ways to occupy herself. As the time neared for your daughter to go study in the School for good and evil herself however, she became a little restless and worried. You could see she didn’t pay as much attention to other things as she used to.
“Mom, what if there’s a mistake and they send me in the Evil school?” She asked you worriedly.
“Honey, you don’t have to worry.” You sat down with her. “The school is just to give you the best chances to improve your talents. It doesn’t make you good of bad. You know, auntie Leonora is from the school of evil and she’d never let any harm go your way. She’s part of the reason you were born.”
“What?” Y/d/n asked confused.
“A long long time ago, me and auntie Lesso were in love. And from that love, we got you.” You tried to explain as gently as possible, she didn’t need to be burdened with your traumas.
“But don’t you love mommy..?” Your daughter couldn’t imagine you with anybody else.
“Of course I do! I love you and mommy more than anything. It was a very long time ago, and me and auntie Lesso don’t love each other anymore. She loves you of course, more than anything. Ans so do I and mommy.” You assured her.
“So I have like three moms? That’s so cool!” She jumped up excitedly, not worrying about the school she’ll get dropped at anymore.
You were absolutely certain Lesso won’t let a hair on her head get crooked. And it proved to be right, as your daughter became her student. You weren’t exactly pleased, but it was the fate and who were you to question it. Y/d/n and Leonora became much closer in the next few years and your daughter grew up to be one the most powerful witches in her school. Graduating at the top of her class and going off on her own adventure, she used ever princessy, knightly and witchery skill her mothers taught her, returning with a big victory for the school of evil.
Your once innocent little toddler grew up to be the most amazing young woman you could have ever imagined. Even tho she didn’t need your protection anymore, you were always there. Her three moms who she could come to with anything and everything on her mind and in her life. You couldn’t be prouder of your journey and all the healing you were able to do to get to this happy ending. Now you were certain this was your happily ever after.

Bundle of sunshine
Pairing: Lady Lesso x reader
Genre: angst and fluff I guess?
Words: 1300
Note: I'm back! Honestly I didn't think this story would give me such a block for almost a year, as I had no idea what to do with it, but here we are! Here's a continuation of The evil witch. Thank you so much to everyone for sending your requests in in the meantime and I'll write them all I swear! I'm so sorry it took me so long.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sleepless nights and dark days became Leonora’s new norm. Anywhere she went she could hear your happy laughter and the excited mumbling of your child. Her child. Was it even her child? Biologically sure, there was no denying that now. But would you ever let her near you and your little bundle of sunshine again? Close enough to be your family? However powerful she wanted to feel months ago, she’d trade it for your presence in a heartbeat. That’s why she tried to catch one of the infrequent moments you wondered around the castle without the insufferable princess by your side.
“So are you gonna pretend I don’t exist for the rest of your life?” she didn’t want to have attitude with you from the start but couldn’t stop the snarky tone in her voice.
However startled you were, you kept your composure intact. “Excuse you? Who do you think you’re talking to!?”
“The mother of my child? That is my baby, you can’t deny that.” She was mad and a little hurt you’d keep her from her own baby.
“I’m sorry was it not you who called me a sleep-around whore a year ago and told me to never disturb you again!?” Long gone were the days you let her manipulate and use you.
“Well maybe I got a little carried away…” Leonora admits, turning her voice down. “But you can’t keep me from my own child.”
“Nu-uh, it’s too late for that. I don’t care what wicked plan you have in your head, but my child is never gonna know you as her mother.” you emphasize, leaving her stunned in place as you forcefully pace away from her.
You couldn’t believe the audacity of that woman. Wo did she think she is? Hurting you in your most vulnerable moment, shaming your pregnancy, and then trying to crawl back in the picture almost a year after your child was born? There was no way you were gonna let her waltz back into your life when you had Lonnie by your side, a lady who supported you from day one without even knowing you properly. Yet it didn’t leave your mind that maybe, she deserves to have some, little and unimportant role, in your daughter’s life. She is also her child after all. And your partner was observant to all your worries.
“Is something tormenting your mind, love?” Lonnie asked getting in her side of the bed at night.
You didn’t want to relay your problems on other people, but she proved time and time again she can share your mantle. “It’s Lesso. She demanded access to my daughter…”
“Well, we expected that, didn’t we? She is her biological mother after all.” Lonnie warmly smiles at you.
“Yeah, I guess, but… I don’t know. I don’t want her to hurt Y/d/n like she did to me, or corrupt her for evil, or anything… and I don’t want her filling her head with nonsense, I just don’t know. Can I ever trust her?” you weighted.
“I guess we’ll have to try and see. It could be good for Y/d/n to have her in her life. If you can negotiate some general rules with Lesso.” your girlfriend suggested, giving you the effortless advice as always.
You’ve spent that night dreamless and restless, and many after that. Could you ever forgive the woman you once loved so hard and who betrayed you so viciously? When it was for the benefit of your daughter? You wanted Y/d/n to have everything in the world, but was this too much to ask of you? You decided you’ll try your best to find a way to include Lesso in Y/d/n’s life, even if it meant you’ll have to overcome the fear and wariness. That’s why after a week of careful thinking and options considering, you and Lonnie visited Lesso’s office together.
“To what do I owe the pleasure..?” Leonora had no idea why the two goodies decided to randomly visit her tower but did everything she could to appear like she didn’t really care.
“I have decided you can be in Y/d/n’s life.” you announced matter of factly.
“You don’t say.” she almost mocked you but a spark in her eye seemed genuine.
“Leonora, I don’t know if you have any real grasp of the full extend of the hurt and betrayal you did to me. That is unforgiveable. In fact, I probably shouldn’t even be considering letting my child or myself anywhere need you.” you lecture her.
“I’m sorry, I was just…” Lesso tried to reason with you but you didn’t let her finish.
“You weren’t there for all my morning sickness, growing stretch marks and swollen ankles. You weren’t holding my hand when I was giving all my life into giving birth to my beautiful daughter. So no, she’s not your daughter, and she never will be. But you are related, so if you can keep on good behavior, maybe you can be her fun aunt or something.” maybe it didn’t sound fair but that was all you were willing to give her. She needed to realize she was lucky to be allowed to even see your daughter. “And when she’s older, I’ll of course tell her how she was born, but that’s a talk between me and her.”
“But you’re gonna let this princess parent my child? That’s obscure!” Leonora protested.
“Hey!” Lonnie scolded her but she knew you didn’t need saving from her anymore.
“Lonnie was here for me in the darkest moments, she held my hand through doubts and supported me in moments of weakness. She’s the only reason me and my daughter are still alive.” you give Lesso a fast reality check. “So yes, as long as she’s my partner and friend, she’ll be more important to Y/d/n than you could ever hope to be. If you’re unhappy with that, I’m okay with moving away and never showing up here again.”
“Ugh, fine, I’ll figure. I just wanna see my daughter.” you were surprised how obedient Leonora suddenly was when it came to contact with her child.
“Great, we’ll set up a play date.” you concluded and left her office as fast as you came, releasing a deep breath outside. You partly expected a disaster to strike.
Your worries turned out to be unnecessary as you prepared for a coloring activity with your daughter, Lonnie and Lesso. Leonora seemingly accepted her role as a friend rather than a parent and Y/d/n absolutely adored her. She found every gruesome detail of her stories interesting and each one of her torture techniques fun. She was there for every new milestone or sick fever, telling bedtime stories until the late hours of night. One birthday celebration came after another as your toddler grew into a beautiful confident child with a curiosity as no other.
She’d never believe it was possible for a spawn of evil like herself to create something so good and pure. She had no doubt your daughter would grow up into a beautiful princess like her other mother. Leonora enjoyed every little moment she spent with her daughter as if it was the last minute she had with her, aware that she’ll be grown before she knows it and possibly will not want to have anything to do with her anymore. After all good and evil didn’t blend together well. The last thing she needed was to get back her burning love, the woman she’d burn in eternal hell for. But, after months and years, your love for the princess knight didn’t dissipate and as stealthy as she tried to be about winning you back, she had no luck so far. Five years turned out to be enough for you to say yes to marrying the new woman in your life.

The evil witch
Pairing: Lady Lesso x reader
Genre: angst
Words: 1600
Note: I really enjoyed writing this if you can not tell by the length. You asked for extra angst, hopefully I delivered. Thank you so much for the request, I hope I won't disappoint you.
Tumblr media
Your relationship was perfect. It was perfect when you got together and it was still perfect now. At least that’s what you tried to assure yourself to not fall into depressing spiral of self-doubt. You and Lady Lesso have been walking on rocks lately but you hoped it’s just a few pebbles on the path to the clear ocean and sandy beach. Your more than normal emotional state wasn’t helping the situation much.
I felt like Leonora was falling out of love with you. She came home later and later, preferring to spend her evenings in the gloominess of her office. She didn’t kiss your forehead every morning as she used to. She stopped making sure you’re not cold when walking the gardens of the castle in the evening breeze together. All the thing that made you fall for her, all the little declarations of love and adoration, were disappearing.
Where once was affection and desire, you found lack of interest. None of what you told her she wanted to hear. No conversations with you interested her. The lady who returned to your chambers after dark wasn’t the same woman you fell in love with. Your beloved Leonora turned into someone you barely recognized anymore.
“How was your day?” you asked your girlfriend once she stepped into the room.
“Average,” was all she said, obviously disappointed you’re still awake.
“Did your students give you any troubles?” you didn’t wanna give up, trying to hold somewhat of a conversation.
“Y/n can you shut up?” Leonora was having none of it though.
“I just…” you trailed off unsure how to react.
“You just what! You just want to drive me crazy with your constant needs and silly stories. You’re just a dependent shallow puppy who can’t help but annoy everyone. You’re suffocating me and this needs to stop. You need to stop! Let me the fuck alone!” Lesso finally snapped, frustrated from all her pent-up emotions.
“W-what..?” you didn’t wanna believe what you’ve heard, she’d never talk with you like that. “You don’t… mean that…”
“Yes, I do! Can’t you see! You’re needy and clingy and I don’t want to deal with this anymore. I won’t.” she folded her hands over her chest.
“Are you… breaking up with me..?” you managed to hick up through the tears.
“What does it sound like to you? Are you that dumb? Yes, now leave me the fuck alone! And stop crying before I give you a reason to!” Leonora shouted before stomping her way to her wardrobe.
You run out of the room just in your night gown, not really caring about anything but being as far away as you could. How could the woman who held you to sleep every night say such things? The one who whispered I love yous into every little kiss you had? The woman who shared her treasured coat with you on cold nights? When did your lover lose the love for you?
You moved back into your old room in the tower of good after that night, Dovey and Anemone helping you get the things as you didn’t feel like going back there alone. You were more than grateful for their help and emotional support once you told them about the falling out. There weren’t your best friends for nothing. You tried to get back into your schedule as fast as possible, trying to not think about things too much.
But the morning sickness you attributed to the stress of the break up wasn’t stoping and so weren’t your heightened emotional reactions and weird food cravings. Soon it raised questions with your friends, ones you were too afraid to ask yourself or say out loud. You were just getting better and thinking back to your time with Leonora would definitely scratch all your progress.
“Honey I know it’s a hard question, but are you sure you aren’t pregnant?” Clarissa asked when you finally made it into the professors’ office after washing your mouth out since you were incredibly sick after something you ate for breakfast.
“No, how could I be? I can’t…” you weren’t really fooling yourself and you definitely weren’t fooling the ladies.
“Why don’t you take a test, just to be sure? I mean, if you aren’t, then you’re definitely sick or something…” Emma pointed out.
“Ah, fine, if you think so…” to be honest you didn’t really know which scenario would be worse, a child or a strange sickness.
They of course both went with you, assuring you everything will be fine during the process. The wait was infuriating. You thought you might pass out from the stress of not knowing what the result is gonna be. Finally the timer went off, your friends looking to you expectantly.
“Can one of you look? I’m scared…” you admitted and Emma picked the test up as Clarissa hugged you.
“It’s… positive.” she declared.
“Oh my god!” If Clarissa wasn’t holding you upright you definitely would have passed out. “No, no no no.” You hid your face in your hands starting to cry again. “That can’t be right. It can’t be.”
“It’s gonna be alright sweetheart, I promise. Everything will be alright.” they calmed you down as they hugged you tightly.
Now you had answers at least and they weren’t concerned about your health anymore. If you were being honest they took better care of you than any mother would have. Anything you wanted, anything you needed was done before you could even finish asking for it. For the first time in months you felt like a princess. You got your wit and confidence back, slowly building up everything Leonora has crushed. It helped not really seeing the dean of evil, if it wasn’t for herself your colleagues made sure you didn’t have to meet her for longer than absolutely necessary.
You knew you needed to tell her tho. And it was better to be done sooner than later. Soon your belly would start to grow and the sooner you get this responsibility off your back the sooner you’ll breathe a bit more freely. The simple idea of confronting her about this terrified you, but you had more than yourself to care about. You needed to be strong for your baby and you will be. No matter her reaction, you’ll leave with your head held high and confident, that’s what you told yourself.
“Come in,” answered the uninterested tone of Lady Lesso when you knocked on her door. With a deep breath you did. “What are you doing here,” she frowned.
“I didn’t come to disturb you, I just needed to tell you something…” how do you tell someone so cold you’re bearing their child?
“Yet disturb me is exactly what you do… so get it over with before I tell the wolfs to keep you from butting in here,” she challenged.
“I’m pregnant,” you announced fast tearing the band-aid off.
“And that should concern me why exactly?” her mean demeanor didn’t falter one bit. “What is it my business what slut you are and who you spread your chubby legs for.”
“With you, of course. I didn’t expect anything better from you, I just thought it fair to let you know,” you tried your best to not let her words get to you. “Your words don’t harm me anymore Leonora as I have no respect left for you. I don’t love you anymore.”
You didn’t let her get anything else out as you’ve left her office as fast as you’ve entered. You didn’t want to make this longer than necessary and truth be told, you did actually feel a bit better. Now you knew she really wanted nothing to do with you and your child, and even though it stung a lot, knowing was always better than living in what ifs.
You welcomed your daughter into the world a few months after that. A lot has changed, the castle has evolved, the school went a long way, but most importantly you were in a good place both mentally and emotionally. Your baby girl rested in your arms as Lonnie – your new friend and the descendant of Mulan – held your hand. From the moment she joined the school for good you were almost inseparable. She stood by you on your hardest days, holding you through your sleepless nights when everything hurt and nothing was comfortable. You were understandably wary to let anyone too close but she patiently supported you no matter if you’d ever let her closer.
Leonora lived in the deepest denial for as long as she could. But the moment she saw you in the gardens, picnicking with the silly princessy knight, she felt the pang of jealousy. How dare you be happy without her? All smiley and laughing? The regret washed over her when she caught the glimpse of a little child running around, red hair and big green eyes shining in the afternoon sun. There was no denying that was her child as your daughter looked exactly like Lesso. And at the same time, she looked like you.
She’d wish for nothing more than to be the one holding you both in her arms, whispering sweet nothings to you once more. But you wouldn’t listen. You wouldn’t believe anything she’d say anymore. She crashed her hopes for being the amazing mama and all what was left were the tales of an evil witch you’ll sure use as a bedtime stories for your little angel. She saw how hard she fucked up now. Sacrificing her happy ending for her selfish needs of independence and self-rule.

You can call me Andy
Pairing: Andromache of Scythia x reader
Genre: fluff (I guess)
Words: 900
Note: Happy International Women's Day! Let's celebrate with empowering women. Please be aware possible trigger of the loss of a child is mentioned here.
Tumblr media
Hot red. That’s all you could see amongst the walls of thick smoke. The fire was burning hot, making your skin sweat under the heavy suit. It might have protected you from the flames but it did nothing for the suffocating feeling inside. You should have stayed outside with your squad, that’s what the orders said.  Instead you threw yourself into the burning house on the mention of a missing child. If there was even an insignificant chance of saving said child, you’d take it.
You became a firefighter few years ago. It was never in your dreams nor imagined future, but after your life turned upside down it felt right. You needed to do something with yourself. Your husband divorced you few months after the funeral of your little baby girl. A few minutes of his mother’s inattention and your toddler couldn’t be saved. Imagine coming home to be told your baby has drown.
No amount of therapy or church visits could take the pain away. You tried to keep your marriage intact but it fell into pieces, with both of you overwhelmed with rage and guilt. You moved apartments, found a new job, got a hobby. But no matter what you did, you couldn’t escape the blame and nightmares.
Now you were running through the house as fast as you could, trying to find the child before your lungs won’t be able to handle it anymore. Your radio cracked with statics, the stern voice of your commander pushing its way through the thick air.
“Y/l/n, we have the child, get out of the house,” you could barely understand him over the cackling. “I repeat, get out of there!” you didn’t need much more convincing to flee the scene, trying to maneuver your path out of the burning hell. Your eyes were burning and you could hardly see your own steps, lungs nearly collapsing filled with smoke and ash. You could almost see the light from outside, when your vision turned black and your racing thoughts silenced your mind.
The first thing you’ve heard was machine beeping. Some regular, some unsteady. You leveled your breathing to the signals. Then you felt with your fingers and toes, the scratchy fabric of bedding. Slowly you opened your eyes, adjusting to the sharp light of the room. You were in what seemed to be a hospital room, surrounded by monitors and enginery. You lied in bed and your chief was just coming through the door.
“You’re up, good. You gave us a pretty crazy scare back there Y/l/n. Really we thought you’d be into pieces.” he shook his head assessing all the improbably scenarios how you survived. “But look at you, all up and in one piece. It’s like a miracle. You better not try that again.” with that he went back out to the hall, talking to a nurse.
You’ve spent the rest of the day being checked and questioned things from which you didn’t have answers to many. How did you survive a whole house collapsing onto you without as much as a scratch? How did your lungs and body just not give up? You couldn’t answer those questions even if you tried. Maybe it was God’s doing, deciding it’s not the time for you to go yet. Maybe you were gifted a second chance to save more lives and make things right.
You woke up to a consistent pinching to your leg. The room was darker and you could see the night sky out the window, clear indication you shouldn’t be awake at this hour. But the lady standing next to you had obviously thought differently.
“Get up,” was all she said throwing a pile of clothes on your bed.
“Excuse me..?” your sleep clouded mind had trouble processing all of this. “What..?”
“You think you survived by some miracle? You didn’t. You died, now you’re immortal and they know. We need to get out,” she clearly had a very low patience as she started aggressively shoving you to move when you didn’t get up immediately.
“What are you talking about!?” you mimicked her hushed tone, not really sure why you’re whispering in otherwise empty hospital room.
“You want to see for yourself?” she invited you to the door window, shoving you a pair of army officers in the hall, apparently investigating or guarding something. “Now, if you’d please get dressed so we can get out of here it’d be much appreciated.”
You did as she said, not really having many other choices. If it was any other situation, you’d argue with this stranger, but you’ve experienced so much weird stuff today you didn’t even question it anymore. Or maybe you were just too sleep deprived and groggy. Once you got dresses she took you by the hand, guiding you out to sneak around the guards through different hallways and corridors.
But it wouldn’t be your cursed luck someone didn’t notice you as you were exiting the building and didn’t call after you, successfully making everyone on the floor aware. Soon you were being chased by five security guards across the parking lot, hopping into a car parked nearby.
“Get in!” the woman commanded and you happily obeyed. She sped onto the street, maneuvering through the traffic.
“What’s going on? Who are you?” you questioned trying to catch your breath.
“Andromache the Scythian. But you can call me Andy.”
