So recently I've had a fair few experiences of people approaching me about hypnosis and almost immediately asking me if I'll drop for them.
Now I have a couple of things to say about it and please note that everything I'm about to say is based on my own experience and are my own thoughts. It may not be applicable to everyone.
But to me, being a subject is about submission. And you can't have true submission without developing a good friendship and a good level of trust. Seeing people immediately jump straight into wanting to drop scares me and I'm not just scared for myself I'm scared for others that may also experience it.
A Dom/ sub relationship is about trust and understanding. Though overall being dominant is an illusion. A dominant cannot truly be dominant without permission and consent from the submissive. Meaning in reality the submissive is the one truly in charge of the situation. And only shitty Dom's will see it otherwise as they will be the ones to not include safeties in trance and to not utilise or pay attention to safe words.
Hypnosis can be fun, it can be intense and it can be truly intimate. But you won't get to that point without developing that relationship and trust before anything else. Without it it can be dangerous and painful.
And lastly, subjects are humans with feelings and often very intense emotions. They are not objects. They need to be taken care of as much as a Dom might also need to be taken care of. Both of you should be treated as equals, not one is more important than the other. A submissive may enjoy being treated like a doll or a toy or a pet in play but it is truly very important to not forget about the real human emotions and feelings underneath that, do not forget your aftercare. Do not forget to tell them how amazing they are and how much you appreciate what they have given to you in their submission.
I just feel like I may not be well versed on it but from my own experience it's important to remind people to not get too wrapped up in it, it can be fun but you need to take care of each other and yourselves
