So recently I started a wings of fire Discord server and realized my oc Stargazer is shipabe with everyone. I thought I'd share some art that I did of her with different characters.

So Wings of Fire Religion... Part One???

-Skywings-

Skywings are probably the most spiritual tribe. They believe in the reincarnation of dragons of their tribes as long as their bodies are exposed in the proper environment, preferably, bodies are placed on cliff sides with tributes from the family and friends of the dead dragons, wrapped in light silk so their spirits do not grow too cold from the winds.

Sky dragons worship the sun, they see it as the giving and taking force of the world and tend to have masses worshiping the fire god of the sky with a designated priest dousing dragons in warm water heated by the sun god as a blessing. They call it the burning eye of Helios. Legend has it that a skywing flew so close to the sun that he became one with it, blessing the world with flamescales and ashscales as a sense of balance. While Flamesscales are usually executed, the families that keep the ashscale counterpart are treated as highly as royals for having a blessed child.

Skywings also have a marriage tradition where they take place on the highest mountains and are blessed by the sun and a priest. Usually, these weddings are held with close families and friends and are not made a spectacle.

-Seawings-

Seawings are not as spiritual as most tribes but tend to worship dolphins and the beast Leviathan of the deep trenches. Leviathan is their primary god and they often offer sacrifices of whales and other massive fish to appease the sea god. It is said that Seawing dragonets hatched in the deepest and darkest channels of the ocean are hatched with the protection of the sea god.

Seawings believe that in death their spirits travel the currents of the kingdom so their bodies are often left to drift in said currents so that the dead seawings can learn the currents even in death.

Seawing Marriages are a big deal to this group of goofballs that start with a feast and a shark hunt. This shark hunt is no regular thing because the bride and groom (or whatever pairing is getting married because we don't tolerate homophobia on THIS TUMBLR BLOG) are required to eat the hearts of the sharks. It is a tradition based on the fact that sharks are creatures of strength, if a couple eats the hearts of a pair of sharks swimming together, they are bound for life.

-Rainwings-

Rainwings worship the earth as a whole and not just parts of it. They worship the cycles between life and death and the process of the journey of the body.

Rainwings do not worship a god but rather the earth itself, they do not offer tribute to it but they synchronize their breathing with the plants in the environment during their suntimes. Rainwings also tend to zone out when they are in sync with the environment, their bodies have a natural reaction to this zone of being and their vocal cords will react to the sounds around them.

The Rainwings really respect the process of death. When one of their own dies, they move the body to the center of the rainforest or to the dragon's favorite spot and cover their body in a light layer of solid. The rainwings leave the body and often visit to plant flowers or bright fruits for the soli, believing that their body keeps the Rainforest alive

-Silkwings-

Silkwings worship butterflies. It is a cardinal sin to kill or capture a butterfly in the silk kingdom and those who do are usually punished. Silkwings believe that when they die, they reincarnate as the butterflies, different types of butterflies reflect how a dragon lived their life and the brighter the colors the more full the dragon's life had been. The silk dragons will often leave sweet waters and treats out for butterflies as a tribute to them and as worshiping respect.

Butterflies are also considered very good luck, with the story of the first silkwing living a joyous life and continuing to live her life as a small bug, a butterfly. Her name was Monarch, the first butterfly. When a silkwing dies, she is buried with a butterfly bush to attract luck after death. In hopes that the first Monarch will return to lead them to the afterlife

So Dash and Ivy, Dash is an on-the-run criminal and Ivy is the ACME golden girl. This shouldn't work but it kinda does.

For the longest time after their meeting in the watch store, ivy makes it her GOAL to catch the dapper hatter. And Dash makes it his goal to try and get her to date him

They literally have had 'dates' across the world, Paris, Germany, London, and all those good tasty places

More often than not they kinda call it quits at the climax of every battle and go get coffee or tea or something like that.

This ends in them just chatting and getting to know each other on a personal level. It's nice, and lots of people mistake them for a couple. Ivy hates this more often than not until one day she's just like-

"Yeah- He's quite the prince charming-"

Dash is shook.

I could not begin to describe HOW they came up with their dynamic, but Dash became the stay-at-home (with an inheritance in his back pocket) and Ivy is the Breadwinner.

If you think Ivy isn't wearing the pants in this relationship, you are wrong.

Ivy works and Dash pays for ALL the expenses. They casually date and live in the same place for like five years.

It's freaking ZACH that asks if they're gonna get married.

Both respond no, they love each other but marriage isn't something that either of them is prioritizing, it's not for them.

They file their taxes (Ivy makes dash file) as domestic partners

Wings of Fire Drug Headcanons

Dragon drugs are wild Seawings- Jellyfish, Sea Urchin, Little Spinefish, Psychedelic Frogfish, Synchiropus Spendidus, and Pufferfish are the most popular forms of drugs in the seawing kingdom. Most law enforcement will arrest dragons with the position of these fish and the average term in prison for these drugs is 4-6 months. Medics and other forms of doctoral care are allowed to host and keep these drugs for pain reduction uses but must have a license and a clean record, along with permission from the queen to hold. Seawing drugs are the second most powerful drugs in the kingdoms and are sold on a black market to the other kingdoms alongside the Rainwings. Most seawings have a higher tolerance to these drugs than other tribes, so when a dragon from a different tribe takes too much of these drugs, they often wind up overdosing and dying if not reached quick enough. Skywings- Hooded pitohui, European Quail, and Little Shrike-thrush are the choice drugs in the Skywing kingdoms. These birds are highly toxic to dragons outside of the sky kingdom, even hybrids struggle to cope with these drugs. Most sky dragons avoid using these forms of drugs, except outside of medical use on other tribes, because if taken too often or in high dosage they can lead to death. The use of these drugs is not outlawed in the Kingdom of the Sky since not many dragons take these drugs. Rainwings- Rainwings have two categories of drugs, Amphibia and Floral. Golden Poison Dart Frog, Blue Poison Dart Frog, Strawberry Poison Dart Frog, and Pickerel Frog are the most commonly found drugs in the rainwing kingdoms. These frogs are often not limited since they do no harm to the rainwings taking them. However, they are highly toxic to dragons outside of the rainwing kingdom and not sold on the black market to the tribes. These frogs are not monitored in the rain kingdom and there are no regulations on drug use, that is why the overdose rate in the rainwing tribe is so high. Salcia Divinorum, Peyote, Opium Poppies, Cannabis Sativa, Nicotiana Tabacum, Dura Stramonium, Psilocybin Mushrooms, and Myristica Fragrant are the flora drugs in the rainwing kingdom and can be sold on the black market to the other tribes. These plants can be used in many forms that do not require eating such as inhalation, injection, and consumption. Just like the amphibian drugs, these are not regulated or monitored in the rainwing kingdom. The rainforest is the drug capital of the dragon kingdoms and the center of the black market, the queens do not shut this down due to the mass increase of income to all the kingdoms. Icewings- Icewings are HARD on the NO DRUG RULES. The only animal in the ice kingdom that anyone can think of is Orcas. Orca whales are hard to hunt in the ice kingdom and only Icewings can take this form of drug, however, it is outlawed in the ice kingdom to take these drugs. Icewings frown heavily on the use of drugs and it is a criminal offense to use with punishment ranging between 6 and 14 months in prison with probation after release.

Sandwings- Africanized Bee, Coral Snake, Gila Monster, and Hyenas are the choice drugs of the Sandwings with a bit of a mixed reaction towards the collective whole of the kingdom. Some dragons want a ban on drug use excluding medical use while others do not see it as a major problem. Sandwings tend to get most of their drugs from the black market and trade their own drugs since it is not as toxic as most other drugs from other kingdoms.

Mudwings- Mambas, Puffer Adders, Carpet Vipers, and Platypus are the drugs of the mud kingdom and are often monitored heavily by law enforcement. The mudwings have a strict medical use policy stating that, outside of medical use, drug use is frowned upon and highly punishable with a 3-6 month prison sentence if abused. Mudwings tend to produce as many of these drugs as they can seeing as they're not as harsh on the other tribes, these drugs are the most common on the market.

Nightwings- Vampire Bats, Hedgehogs, Solenodon, Shrew, and Slow Loris are the nightwing drugs of choice. All are Mammalia that frequent the kingdom and are sold on the black market, similar to the mudwings. The nightwings have similar medical uses as the mudwings but tend to be a little looser with their free-use laws, stating that nightwings should stay home so as to not disrupt the flow of the kingdom. The nightwings also tend to buy and sell drugs at higher prices than originally bought to broaden income.

Let's Talk About Bellroc

Let me just start with the basics.'

I have always loved Netflix's Tales of Arcadia. Trollhunters being my favorite instillation of the three series, but I was severly disappointed with the Rise of The Titans to the point where it ALMOST turned me off on the whole series.

The key word is almost.

The thing that dragged me by the hair back into this series and the Rise of the Titans was Bellroc, it seems fitting that this character dragged me into the series because they are so interesting and deep to a point.

The thing about this character that I want t challenge most in this analysis is the one line they deliver to Jim when they are about to end the world.

And I quote, "The world is but seconds away from a glorious rebirth. Don't spend that time here. Go. Embrace your loved ones for the final time"

But as per usual, I will be starting with the official Arcadia Oaks-pedia description as well as the given personality. I will be attempting to challenge and divert these assumptions made and give you a better understanding of this character and hopefully open our eyes to the fact that even villains can in fact be benevolent and respectful to others.

Bellroc is an androgynous being, with a shifting voice to represent male and female. They are of average height with grey skin, red hair, red/yellow eyes, and tattoos on their face resembling traditional Inuit tattoos. After Callista blinds Bellroc's main eyes during the Battle of Killahead Bridge, they wear a black blindfold with red linings. After awakening the Fire Titan, Bellroc's main eyes glow bright orange.

Bellroc wears a large cape of black feathers, with red wooden pauldrons on each shoulder. The eyes on the pauldron move and are used as Bellroc's secondary pair of eyes. They wear a wooden chest plate carved to look like a nose and mouth, and the mouth opens depending on the position Bellroc is in.

On their head, Bellroc wears a large skull of a horned, bird-like creature, and wears many other small bones. Their forearms are wrapped in gauze, and they wear a large beaded bracelet on their left wrist. Bellroc wears black pants with a belt with attachments resembling Fulu and walks barefoot.

Bellroc is defined, as a whole to be an "Androgynous being", never having the definition of gender, their entire physique is meant to look female, a sure example of this is the thin design, their hairstyle, even the echoing female voice that tends to ring out when they are speaking. Historically, when referring to female characters people tend to sympathize or have a softer attitude towards them. I fully believe that Netflix team intends for this to happen.

Now, I can easily explain away the coloration with the association to flames and stone, but the tattoos confused me for the time being, and all I can do to assume this is a design choice. Except for the relation to Inuit.

Inuit are indigenous artic living people, so why would a God of Flame and destruction have the marking of people related to northern areas and travel?

The Inuit are Animisms. Also relating that every non-human thing, animals, plants, rivers, etc, in the world possesses a soul. I truly believe that this is something all of the Arcane Order would take to heart, being the creators of the world and that is why they choose to represent themselves with these tattoos.

I am actively choosing to ignore their choice in clothing as it is almost self-explanatory, they have been blinded and use their second eyes to see, but the bones they wear are quite interesting to me.

The skull of the horned bird and the other bones they wear are quite interesting when you take notice that they are the most aggressive of the Arcane Order. One would be correct in thinking that these are a type of trophy. Possibly larger creatures that she has defeated in the past. In a close observation, one can notice the smaller bones of human anatomy. Possibly humans that stood against her in previous encounters.

Bellroc is a hateful and despicable demigod, who is cruel and merciless in their actions. They dislike humanity and believe that humans cannot right their wrongdoings, primarily because they saw humanity's corruption and thus sought to protect the balance between humankind and magic. However, this was only by their own twisted standards as their version of the balance was that magic would overthrow humankind as the dominant force, and plus, only bringing misery and calamity instead of true balance. This shows how hypocritical and self-righteous their ambitions truly are as they accuse humanity of being corrupt, even though they are corrupt themself.

Now taking these things into account, we will take the time to glance at the personality of Bellroc's personality and WHY it differs in Rise of the titans, again, grabbing from Arcadia Oaks-pedia.

And I quote, with a few removals that are not relevant to this post.

I am choosing to take this in bullet points rather than info dump on my audience, you can thank me later.

Bellroc is indeed a hateful and cruel creature to the point of being merciless. I argue that this is how they require themself to be due to the fact of the balance they represent. Nari, represents kindness, Skreal represents neutrality, and Bellroc is the representation of Hate and destruction.

Their hate towards humanity makes sense when you take the position of humanity towards the world that they strove to protect. Their world was destroyed by human, it's almost fitting they want to rid the world of a pest.

They were also manipulative towards Morgana, claiming that she is the Arcane Order's "champion" when she was really used as their pawn so they can get what they want, and even killing King Arthur in front of her, completing her descent into darkness. They now want to use the Genesis Seals to unleash uncontrollable magic to destroy the entire universe, which would include not only humanity, but also the magical and extraterrestrial beings living in it, and then remake the Earth in their own image.

Manipulation is a coping habit, at least not a healthy one. The trauma of seeing one's creation destroyed can cause many things, and I refuse to defend their action of murder, but I will not stand here and say that they deserved to watch their world turn to ash. A person can be a victim and an abuser at the same time.

Bellroc is also known as wanting to destroy the fabric of the universe in order to recreate it. I take this as an act of a victim trying to recreate this abusive situation they failed to survive once before.

Again, I will state that this is not a healthy way of coping in the slightest. Abusing the abusers is not healthy and revenge would have possibly made the situation worse than it already was.

Bellroc was also completely selfish, truly caring about no one but themself and not even the well-being of other magical creatures, which is shown through their treatment of Morgana. Bellroc also shows sociopathic signs, as shown when she gets furious with Skrael torturing Steve.

Selfishness is defined as the following by Webster's dictionary "lacking consideration for others; concerned chiefly with one's own personal profit or pleasure."

Bellroc is driven by the idea of a new world with peace and nature, I find it strange that a creature bend on destruction is so eager to create a new world. Perhaps the creature that craves destruction also craves the peace and hospitality of a new world.

In contrast to Skrael, Bellroc was so impulsive to the point that they decided to intervene in the Battle of Killahead Bridge despite the former's warnings. They also prefer to arson buildings, as they did in GDT Arcane Books because it helps them feel calmer and think up another plan to destroy the universe.

Bellroc is determined to have their way, their world, this form of peace that they can bring to the world into a state of peace and new life. Despite this, they are impulsive and eager to create as well are they are to destroy.

They also have a shade of sadism, though it is not as extreme as Skrael's. While fighting Jim, their sadism was only meant to break his spirit so that he wouldn't even try to stop them, taunting him that he is nothing without the Amulet of Daylight and calls him powerless without it, treating him like a helpless little boy, and took their time torturing him.

I won't deny this is a statement of true hostility and sadism. They know how to break people, destroy their self-esteem and their willpower. It's a normal coping mechanism to put others down and that is what they choose to do.

Despite this, Bellroc seems to have an extremely small amount of compassion, as shown when they advised Jim to spend time with his loved ones before they remade the world as their own. However, it wasn't truly genuine since this was only to goad Jim into giving up as they are mere seconds away from connecting to the Heartstone, suggesting it was all he could do at that point.

Kindness in someones' moment of weakness can be seen as cruel but giving someone the chance to be with the ones they love is a sign of mercy. They present death and yet this small form of comfort is an act of allowing someone to be weak, despite breaking Jim down, Bellroc chooses to give him the choice of being by himself or with the ones he loves.

I will not lie, I did leave things and speculation of the Pedia in order to present my own argument. But that is what people do, leave details out.

Bellroc is a complex character despite the presentation that they are not as one-sided as the series presents. Thank you for tuning in and come back next week for Nari's analysis!!

"What the hell did I walk into?" But it's Axoleel and for a twist, Neal is the one asking.

"What the hell did I walk into?" The hands of the duchess gripped the banister of her four-poster bed with detailed manicured hands. The auburn-haired woman gritted her teeth and sucked in a painful breath.

It could have been easily stated that the situation was painful, with Marciel bent over the top of her bed and being in nothing but leggings and her bra. She waved her hand for a fraction of a second when the feeling stopped.

“No- Keep going- I’m fine-”

She let out another sharp huff as the pressing tight feeling returned. Sure she might be sore for the next week or so, but it would be more than worth it to flop on her bed with her husband afterward. 

There was a slight creaking as the door opened, Marcie looked up with a determined set look on her face.

“What the hell did I walk into?”

The sea-foam green eyes glanced up at the door, to her own shock there was a foot braced against her own spine as Marideth, a house worker, helped her tie her corset. Marciel smiled at her husband, a painful act seeing as the corset was far too tight.

“Neal- Darling, you look quite handsome.”

Neal, having been ready to leave for the gala hours ago, stood in the doorway with his jaw dropped. He was in a dressy black suit, a red rose in his lapel, “Like I said, what the hell...”

Marciel straightened and Marideth began to tie the corset at the back, panting slightly as she did. Marciel grinned tiredly and gave a painful laugh.

“Corsets, my dear, be lucky you never have to deal with them.”

Roundabout Dating Headcanons

-Ha... Ha... Ha... *Places head in hands*

-This man is not going to make the first move. Ever

-Awkward life for him on the Island when he is there. He will pine from a distance, watching and observing you to try and figure out if you have ANY interest in him at all.

-Don’t think he’s going to make life easy for you. Oh no, he makes life a living hell for you while outwardly complimenting your abilities and teaching skills.

-”Oh look at them go! Just dapper don’t you think?”

-He ABSOLUTLY makes examples out of you when you mess up but does it so that it seems like a complement..

-”If you all insist on failing, do in such a graceful way as (y/n)”

-He is full of quirky comments about you, usually good ones.

-You are slightly taller than him and teas him about it all the time, he takes it with very good nature.

-When he manages to stalk you- I mean get a moment alone with you, he is awkward and fidgety. His fingers tap his knuckles when he talks to you and he constantly shakes his hands

-”You okay?”

-”Of course I am, why wouldn’t I be?”

-When he goes back to Britain he is constantly sending you letters, usually talking about a caper you went on and telling you how you could have done better.

-He is a fantastic writer. Such amazing vocabulary and rather... mixed messages that you have a really hard time making sense of, but hey, you try/

-You get tired of this really fast and tell him.

-Does he stop? Shockingly yes.

-He starts sending you mementos of London, casually. Little snow globes and post cards with Big Ben and London Bridge and other obscure land marks that you ended up having to google.

-He will absolutely try and discreetly get you sent on missions close to where he is placed. Mostly European areas for you, you don’t mind, Europe is beautiful.

-Roundabout starts to meet you in different areas, starting with a small trip to Aberdeen Scotland where you would be stealing... well you don’t remember because afterward you both got shit-faced drunk and passed out in the hotel room.

-You woke up with his suit jacket over your shoulders and an apology note saying that Roundabout had to return to London for urgent business. You didn’t want to admit how disappointing that was to you.

-You generally like hanging out with Roundabout.

-Next time you see him is almost a month later, in Paris France with, to your shock, not mission. You were told that there was a mission. But it was just Roundabout.

-You were confused and excited at the same time, grabbing his arm and hopping slightly, asking him what kind of mission you would be on. He only chuckled.

-”Don’t you see, dearest? You are MY mission!”

-And he takes you hand in his, kissing your knuckles. You obviously blush stupidly.

-’M-me?”

-’Of course, how could it not be you?” And all of the knuckle kisses lean to the hand kisses and all the more of you blushing.

-You place a hand on his cheek and his blush is almost as red as yours, perhaps harder to see due to the Asian heritage in his blood, but you aren’t sure if it’s just you or not.

-And his hand touches your face, you are almost shocked by how soft his hands are. You lean into his with a smile.

DashIvy Headcanons

- Ivy, as per show standards, began to work for A.C.M.E and for the Chief. This did not stop her from hunting down as many V.I.L.E operatives as she and Zack could. 

- Dash Haber was spotted in Berlin, Germany. Oh dear god how fitting.

-Ivy fest personally entitled to catch Dash Haber, she could NOT explain why, but she had to get him herself. 

-Zack teased her, seeing as Carmen and Ivy had filled in the rest of the team about the ‘Gold Gnome’ incident.

-Ivy, all swaddled in coats and furs and hats, was sitting in a warm café, staring at a rather popular and expensive suit store when she saw an ever so familiar nose and hat strolling into the store.

-Of course, Dash had seen the red headed mistress that he’d been so inexplicably interested in when V.I.L.E had been active and running it’s rampage. He did not expect, then or now, that she was working against him.

-Okay maybe part of him suspected something, but he wasn’t hiding anymore. In all honestly, he’d been glad to see her, even if they were not here for the same reasons.

-Ivy strolled into the store a few minuets after Dash had and was looking at a rather sharp pair of cufflinks that no doubt would have gotten the attention of the ex-V.I.L.E operative.

-But Dash wasn’t looking at the cufflinks, no, he was looking at Ivy, smiling.

-Ivy had to cover her face, she was blushing so hard.

-”And what’s a pretty lady like you doing in a place like this?”

-”What’s a top class criminal doing buying ratty rags like these?”

- Dash was only slightly offended by this, pointing out the stitching and that she had no evidence that he was a criminal or (that if he was top class and smug about it) she couldn’t prove if he was.

-Until she held up an image from security footage of him battling Carmen.

-”Okay so maybe you do-”

-Ivy never liked sending places into chaos the way her brother did, she wanted to take him in quickly and quietly. But Dash would not go easily, she knew that.

-”Perhaps I can convince you to maybe... Get rid of that footage?”

-”Yeah? And how you plan on doing that?”

-”Well by wooing you and taking you for dinner tonight, we are civil people, I’m sure we can come up with something
