and making mallory panic by going “heyy, adora~” (i should clarify in a catra impression.. not like, with her normal voice)

how i would rewrite the HOO relationships
no one asked but here it is.
piper and jason never got back together after the fake dating thing. they maybe kissed once, but jason decided not to date bc he wanted to figure out his real feelings, not what juno wanted him to feel.
sometime between TLH and MOA, jason started realizing he liked boys. so did leo. both kept it to themselves, jason to further study it, and leo bc internalized homophobia. also piper got a huge crush on annabeth. we’ll come back to all this.
sometime around the end of SON, hazel like, throws her arms around frank and confesses her love for him. he’s like, woah, what? you’re 13?? and she didn’t realize this would be a problem bc 13 and 16 wasn’t as big a deal in the 30s, but hey, there’s a lot she has to learn now. she accepts his answer politely, and while there’s some awkwardness between them, at least by the middle of MOA, things get back to normal and they can be good friends again.
percy and annabeth are happy together and literally perfect, etc, etc. except, annabeth starts realizing that she kinda has some confused feelings. she loves percy with all her heart, but she can’t help thinking “what might have been” if she’d ended up not dating him. anyways, frank is still protective over hazel against leo, but it’s more of a “this kid’s still figuring herself out. don’t make romantic moves on her” type thing. also leo and jason start hanging out more but uh, oh, it’s getting awkkwarddd. and also they’re both realizing they’re on the aspec and dealing with that.
nico still gets forcively outed to jason (i’d love to rewrite this but, DUDE, that’s a WHOLE OTHER post and i’m tryna keep it relatively the same) but then jason’s like. “hey.. i know it hurts.. and i know this doesn’t make a difference... but i’m queer too..” and nico’s like. GAY? MORE GAYS? HELLS YEAh. but still scared. and he doesn’t express any of it verbally.
in tartarus, annabeth confesses some of the feelings she’d been having about her relationship with percy and he’s like. “oh. okay?? well, we could try polyamory?” and she’s like.what?? and he’s like “you can date other people too, we just talk about it n stuff? if you want? you can love more than 1 person at once, and im comfortable with it” and she’s like, wow, he loves me. anyways, calypso time
the boat arrives bc she loves leo. not romantically, but she loves him. he promises to come back for her and they have this cute brother/sister type friendship.
anywayss, leo gets back and jason is likee. “IMISSEDYOU” and kisses him in front of everybody and they soon start dating and bonding over being aspec.
the forehead scene happens and piper and annabeth start dating while percabeth is still happening (he’s very supportive but only dating annie at the moment)

okay, look, to those of you with issues with your body; maybe due to dysphoria, dysmorphia, or whatever else it could be
it’s summer rn for half the planet (and especially hot and fucking humid where im at) and look, i know how it is to have body issues and wanna cover it up, but like, srsly, don’t leave that hoodie on the whole day or wear 5 billion layers of clothes or bury yourself under blankets.
one day hopefully there’ll be a chance for us to like, live in our bodies and be at peace, but until then we have to take basic care of them.

hrnng, skin is such a good body part. and i like theyna. sooo, here’s some thingggss for your consideration
thalia is pale, always has been. she can’t tan or burn, assumed it was from being a child of the sky, clouds followed her where she went. she had a few freckles scattered across her nose, but not many any where else, just a couple on her back that she never sees. what thalia did have was acne. she started getting acne shortly before turning into a tree, it turned into small plants on the bark. after coming back, it got worse, Much worse. it didn’t go away when she was a Hunter. it stayed about the same.
reyna didn’t have much acne though. she had freckles, so, so many freckles. reyna was covered in so many freckles, it almost made her skin look a couple shades darker. she had moles too. several moles on her face, her neck, shoulders, and her back.
what they both had was scars. they had so many scars from all their various traumas and battles. they liked to compare them, late at night when no one else was up. they’d come too close to kissing during these sessions, but still they haden’t. betraying artemis/dianna was soething they weren’t yet ready to do. but for now, they had skin, and they had scars, and they had unspoken “i love you”s

Rosalie: she/he/they, genderfluid, pansexual. idk why, i just really want genderfluid rose
Emmett: his BROnouns are he/him. questioning his sexuality as of lately, but pretty sure he’s demisexual and maybe bi?
Alice: she/they. demigirl. omnisexual with a preference for women. i also just Don’t think she and jasper are monogamous
Jasper: he/him. cis. okay, so this sentence about andrew garfield: Garfield identified himself as heterosexual but has said that he has "an openness to any impulses that may arise within me at any time" (whatever thefcuk that means)
Esme: she/her, cis, pan
Carlisle: he/him, trans. Trans Carlisle. Bc. why not?? also pan (hehe, husband and wife with matching sexualities)
Charlie: he/him, cis, just figuring all this stuff out. (is bi but hasn’t figured that out yet)
Renee: she/her, cishet. “The A is for Ally” i hate her so much . but i swear that is how she is
Mike Newton: he/him. cis. closeted bi and maybe on the ace spectrum and dating eric
Eric: he/they, transmasc, gay and dating mike

SO. A concept. (yes i did create a tumblr account just to make this)
there isn’t any “canon evidence” or anything. but like. just imagine if calypso was autistic.
she gets off ogygia and leo starts noticing her flapping her hands when she’s happy or understimulated and he’s like “what’s that?” and she’s like “i’m happy?? is that not?? normal??” and he’s like “idk”
then at the waystation emmie’s like “yo,, kid,,, are you autistic? no offense, i’ve just noticed you have a lot of symptoms” and she’s like “what’s autistic?”
