#splatoon#agent 4#marie#m4rie#for my version they developed feelings over the course of octo canyon#but agent 4 felt marie was out of her league and worried it would ruin their friendship to confess#meanwhile from marie's pov she knew agent 4 had low self advocacy and worried Agent 4 would say yes to a confession#no matter how she actually felt and marie didn't want to put agent 4 through that#marie did confess once on impulse but agent 4 thought it was practice for her crush and marie rolled with that#i wrote a fic for that on AO3 called two-ways#after a while of having feelings for each other both oblivious that the other felt the same agent 4 decided to confess during#the chaos v order splatfest#i wrote a whole fic about it but never published it because i wasn't happy with it i swear i will finish it one day#the point is agent 4 wanted to prove how shed grown in terms of confidence and handling stress since moving to inkopolis#and she felt confessing to marie and accepting the consequences would be good proof#imagine her surprise when marie confessed right back#anyone i like this ship and am writing fluff for it during breaks of working on a sequel to a really heavy non-shippy angst fic#long tags#reblog#abyssalreblog#abyssalshriek
