The way his hand bends reminds me of AFO.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I know the whole pose is copy paste but we are focusing on the hands similarities now.
Tumblr media
It’s always the left hand…
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Izuku has stigmata like All For One (a hole in his hand).

Afo CANONICALLY has white eyes.
Tumblr media
Well, that explains this.
I don’t know if the anime made a mistake and gave him red eyes instead of white or it was intentional and the afo clone theory stands. Either way it doesn’t effect the dfo theory, it actually makes it more possible! If this afo is not the afo we saw previously then it’s most likely Hisashi.

there are memories of one and the other that if seen it’d change everything.
Tumblr media
This memory could play a big part, because this is THE proof that Tenko wasn't born with decay but was given to him by AFO. I don't think anyone doubts that's him. The fact that this scene was not animated shows that they didn't know how to handle this panel. Probably because horikoshi didn’t want us to know that was 100% AFO and leave it a mystery. If deku sees tenko’s PoV he’d definitely recognise AFO from his own memories. Not only that but he’d also see Afo’s face clearly for the fist time since it was mostly covered in his dreams(which also means we are getting closer to DFO).
Tumblr media
Tomura would also get to find out that his doctor was also dekus doctor that told him he’s quirkless. That wouldn’t be weird since he worked at a hospital but it is since Garaki NEVER told Tomura that DEKU was once his client. What could that cause? Suspicion. Tomura would know that the doctor was hiding more things than he thought, in addition Afo as well.
It’s gonna be very weird if we don’t see deku’s dad in his memories but it’ll also make total sense. The same way if we don’t see that memory from Tomura as well. That’d mean AFO most likely removed their memories to keep the truth hidden. That’s the reason why deku never once thought of his dad, he’s completely erased. BUT what if they could see the memories that not even themselves could remember? That’d be a good climax imo.

PLEASE BE AFO PLEASE BE AFO PLEASE BE AFO PLEASE BE AFO PLEASE BE AFO PLEASE BE AFO

Kudou tells him that he has to let go of ofa, SO the only way to fight back is by using another powerful quirk….

1)Since AFO is gone, he can’t confirm it himself. Well of course if @marunalu is right and that afo was a clone, Hisashi will be making an appearance on the battlefield. 2) If he wasn’t a clone, his vestige who’s probably still inside Tomura, reveals it. 3) Since the hopes of winning against Tomura are decreasing, Yoichi will be left with no choice other that helping Deku to unlock Afo, but because of that he’ll also have to explain his connection to his brother. Personally, number 3 is the most logical in my eyes. Adding to it I also want to see Afos vestige reaction to all of this.
Reblog if you still believe in the Dad For One theory and please feel free to share with me how you would want it to play out.

Tomura planned this all along. He wants to make the volcano erupt which means lava is coming on the battlefield! It will deff give me vibes of the fight between Anakin and Obiwan. This fight was supposed to remind us of Afo vs All might, as it was the fight between the 2 strongest characters in their prime, but looks like deku and tomura will take their place. Deku is obiwan, as the kid who takes after his teacher(all might) and Tomura is Anakin. He was supposed to be AFOs successor but he’s more of a destruction machine. I like the way Deku is fighting like afo here when he’s supposed to symbolise the good side. Maybe the reveal won’t have the “no I am your father” vibes with afo telling him, but the fight on mustafar with all the lava around and the possibility of yoichi telling him since he’s the only person left that could know.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I kinda find his calm behaviour weird. Everyone is panicking as they are loosing the battle while he is strangely looking at his hand. The same hand afo is holding back in 408. He looks at it as it is his last and only option left. He’s going to help Deku unlock Afo isn’t he?
Tumblr media
Deku made it clear to Yoichi that he’s going to try to save Tomura, but Yoichi doesn’t look like he approves that much now. He only sees Tomura as the next afo who’s worse than afo and the only way to finish this is by killing him. Back in 305 he said he has Deku’s back, but he might have changed his mind, since Tomura showed that he’s beyond redemption. “Yoichi and izuku are so much alike” no. Let’s not forget that Afo raised him and no matter how good of a person he is, if the villain crosses the line he will prefer to deal with him the dark way. Izuku though still tries to see the good in Tomura despite all that have happened. Their preferences are going to clash in the end.
Right now they and trying to find a way to break through Tomura’s regeneration and using Afo might be their only way out.
Tumblr media
Time to unlock another power.

A flashback of the first Afo/all might fight. I had a feeling that was fire in the background of that panel but I wasn’t sure since I couldn’t see clear. In the anime preview there is fire which means afo attacked all might with some kind of fire quirk, hopefully a fire breath quirk.

Your brother is finally getting defeated why aren’t you happy?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We see him every time afo is getting closer on his defeat. He says that he sympathises with him. It’s still his brother afterall.
In general I didn’t really like this chapter, not because we didn’t see afo that much but because i don’t like idea of the main villain being defeated so easily by bkg. I prefer Deku to be the one making his last move on AFO as a main character vs main villain thing. It's always the OFA users’s purpose to put an end to Afo. It just doesn't feel right. I hope Deku plays a part in this too at least.

Similarities between afo and izuku part2
Tumblr media Tumblr media
AFO’s and lzuku’s way of planning. They both think many routes but have only ONE goal on their mind. Izuku wanted to grab bakugo and leave but afo(chapter 408) wants to get away from him and kill him at the same time. The difference 😭.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Izuku is shown in Afo’s colours. I’d say this is a coincidence but why give Tomura All might’s colours and izuku Afo’s all in one drawing. It’s like they are a different side from the same coin *cough cough*
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Even their fingers are the same.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
No comment.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They are both fascinated by quirks and love to analyse them.

Okay, let’s take a look at some of the STARWARS references that convince me that Afo and Izuku are related and most likely father and son.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Afo and Anakin(Darth Vader) before their injury say almost exactly the same thing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The battle which left them injured by the teacher of the protagonist who plays their part later on in the story.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Musutafu is a reference to Mustafar, the place where the fight of Anakin and obi wan took place. Musutafu is also the place where all might fought afo for the third time, where the war is currently taking place since ua is in Musutafu and where Izuku’s apartment is. We still don’t know where all might’s and afo’s first battle took place but it’s a possibility it did there.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Their bodies were stolen, saved, and given their mask so they could breathe.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There's a picture of a padme flower in the apartment. Padme was Anakin's wife.
If we consider the Star Wars storyline the reveal is what follows. Afo better reach Deku.

These are some similar panels of Izuku and All for One that convinced me about the DFO theory.
1: they both point their finger the same way.
2: their face shape and hair.
3: they place their hands EXACTLY at the same position when they think.
4: side profile.
5: they clench their fists when they get happy the same way.
I know Afo still doesn't look like him that much, almost nothing alike, BUT we know that Izuku is a copy-paste of Inko so it's obvious he does not look like his dad.

The only time they were acting like brothers to each other.
Tumblr media
Afo gave him a quirk in order to make him follow him but instead, he ran away. Afo saw Yoichi more as his property than his brother, but that doesn't change the fact that he loved him and wanted him next to him. He was him family.
“If you're not mine, then you don't..." don't what… get to live?
The way Afo says that sounds like he wants him dead. I still believe he probably wasn't aiming for Yoichi, but… what if he was and then regretted it? It wouldn't make sense though. If he killed him why would he go look for him and cry for his death.
This is sad… Yoichi didn't deserve this. That's probably how he died and how Kudou got that scar.
Hope we get more information next chapter. Especially how Yoichi died cause it's not really specific.

I like the way Horikoshi made one of the speech balloons different. It was a good choice to point out these words of Afo. It's like he gave us a clue.
Tumblr media
Looks like he is the type to hold a grudge. Even after over 100 years, he NEVER blamed himself for Yoichi’s death but Kudo, the one who tried to help him, because his ego is bigger than his heart.

So you’re telling me AFO started crying because Kudou(second user) told him that Yoichi is dead? AND NOT JUST THAT. He specifically told him that HE killed him which he DIDNT know. So that means AFO probably killed his brother on accident before or just wanted to injure him and NOT kill him. He came looking for him only to find out that he was already gone…
Tumblr media
This is most likely after he found out. We can guess that AFO choked him out of rage later.
Back to the present, he’s getting crazier as he proceeds shout at bakugo’s face, blaming Kudou for giving his hand to Yoichi leading to this whole mess and the death of his brother.
I like that we slowly get to see his side of the story. Hope we see more of his past, he's an interesting character.
