OOPS by “announce with the artists/writers” I meant that they just announce the comics and who’s working on them! I think artists and writers are rarely clued in on when announcements are made because a lot of the time they always go “oh?? guess the news is out!” So your response is very much in line with many creators during release of DC and Marvel solicits lol 😭

DC comic solicitations for July came out last Friday! They announce comics with the artists, writers, variant covers, etc. Your cover for the second issue of MAWS was there! IT LOOKS REALLY COOL BTW!!

What are your clip studio settings or the type of layout you use since i would like to practice knowing the rigth brushes and setting that they use in the industry. Hello Anon! If you're asking about animating brushes I've already answered this in a previous ask. But in general, I use default brushes with default settings (like G-pen). No custom settings. Even for the ones in the previous ask I have set on default settings. This is just a me thing but I don't care much for customization since I just need it to work haha. There really isn't a "right" or "industry professional" brush because each production is different according their art direction/design and every artist has different tastes. And as for layouts, those templates are different from production to production and are provided to me when I work on a show. But in general we are working 1920x1080 and 24 fps for standard TV animation.

kind of an odd question but should i avoid posting fanart and stuff on my art accounts? if future employers were looking back at stuff would that be bad/unprofessional? i do lots of my own stuff but lots of fan work too. ik portfolios are different just social media (: thanks, hope you’re doing well!

Hello Anon! I have been doing well and surviving 2024 so far haha. As for your question, when it comes to your professional portfolio you want to showcase your skills through original work or you can make your own rendition of pre-existing piece of media (ie. animatics of musical numbers, boarding to pre-existing TV scripts, etc.). I don't think you should shy away from fanart (and I will also include fanfiction) completely because the honest truth is that almost everyone in animation are nerds who enjoy creating fan work themselves haha. So when it comes to social media....as long as it's not, you know incredibly questionable work, you won't be penalized for drawing fanart. And in my experience, drawing fanart has led to actual work opportunities (that's how I partially ended up working on My Adventures with Superman). This isn't to say fanart will get you a job but rather you shouldn't have to restrict yourself to drawing only certain things in fear of not being hirable.

Hey. I don't want to bother you or ask you to draw anything, but I am just curious if anyone else in the show tough that Clark and Lois child could look like Lara Lane-Kent (basically Sasha Calle in the flash movie). I imagine not many people think about it since she would only show up at the end of the show or if there's a time travel episode. But I can't take that idea off my head and I want to know if I am the only one 

Hello Kusa! As far as I know, their child isn't on the front burner in terms of if it was thought about (and if it is I wouldn't know that information and if I did know legally I can't give detail). Since the show is very much about the early years of Clark and Lois I think the show just wants to focus on them and what events will roll out during that time. ^^
