Where did you get inspiration to write Trace's part of the Rotten to the core song?

I'm trying to make a song for My Badun Detective Agency descendants rewrite introducing the characters but it's harder than usual, lol.

First, I counted how many syllables were in each line of the song. Then I chose some words I wanted to use - words that sounded like they would've actually fit right in the song itself - and found words that rhymed with them. That's how I ended up using the words unkind, cruel, mind, cool, here, reason, near, and demon.

I was reading Mal's first few lines and found that the first and third had five syllables while the second and fourth had four. So with that in mind, I started adding more words to each line until they sounded good and I got the right amount of syllables in each one. I actually tried recording myself singing the lyrics out loud and adding them to the song with an audio editor, but my voice sounded funny in the recording, so I just thought, you know what, to hell with it. It would probably sound better coming from an actual singer anyway, lol.

So anyway, yeah, that's how I did that. Thanks for asking. I don't get a lot of asks.

Funny scenario in my version of Descendants involving my OC Trace: After Ben gets him a new motorcycle, Chad, being the idiot that he is, makes the mistake of sitting on it right in front of Trace. Carlos is right there with him. They go up to Chad, Carlos takes a picture of Chad with his phone and says, "This is the before." Then Trace says, "And this is the after." and punches Chad, making him fall off of Trace's motorcycle. Once that happens, Trace says to him, "You don't sit on another rider's bike and expect to get away with it." Carlos thinks this whole thing is funny, as he's too busy trying - and failing - not to laugh while taking a picture of the aftermath. The lesson here: respect other people's property.
