Zurafuro Does: Gintama 2017 Marathon!! [Battle on Rakuyo Arc + Battle Highlight Part 3]
After the Three Mad Stars’ defeat, the Joui warriors resume on their way to Takasugi’s aid. I almost forgot-- Uturo’s was watching from above while the everyone was wrecking havoc throughout the planet.
ANYWAYS
We move on to the much awaited FATHER-SON SPAT [Well that’s what this anime recap is all about].
Kagura and Takasugi’s other top henchmen found Takasugi’s unconscious body with other henchmen carrying him, however an explosion separated the two group. The group who carried Takasugi’s body fell down, much to Matako’s shock and dismay after seeing that he also fell down along with them. Kagura’s group rushes down where the other group fell down. They saw Takasugi’s body still in a good shape. Kagura quickly realized that her brother must’ve saved Takasugi from his untimely demise. She quickly went ahead to follow where her brother will go to.
The match between father and son began after Kamui meets his father once again in a secluded mountain range along with Abuto (who accompanied Umibozu on his quest to find his son). Kamui, now made his strong resolve on defeating his father for good, decided to make the initiative to attack his father. The intense match between the two was cut short when Kagura stopped Kamui on attacking back. However, she was almost immobilized after receiving a critical hit from her older brother. Even after their previous match from the SA (Shogun Assassination) Arc, Kamui still belittled his sister’s battle strength, and considered her not a family anymore. Kagura reminded Kamui once more of her capabilities and attacked him back --- starting a match between them short after.
The match doesn’t seem to stop even when their father pleads the siblings to stop their horrendous match. The spat between siblings were immediately cut short after Abuto yelled Utsuro’s impending arrival between the family. Now separated from his children, the fight between the Alien Hunter and the hunted has started.
The fight lasted for a couple of minutes. Moments later, Umibozu’s past suddenly emerged after damaging each other’s arms from the fight.
In the flashback, Umibozu was talking to a young Mutsu about his ‘heroic’ deed on taking back Yato’s original home planet, Kouan. Mutsu told him that some titled Umibozu as the Master of Kouan, but he immediately disagreed and told the kid of what really happened during his first arrival at Kouan.

Zurafuro Does: Gintama 2017 Marathon!! [Battle on Rakuyo Arc + Battle Highlights Part 2]
Continuing on from 2 days ago, the Joui Warriors along with their henchmen went their way on Rakuyo (Kagura’s home planet) in a mission to retrieve Takasugi from the Harusame. However, they were ambushed by the first wave of Harusame’s henchmen moments later upon their arrival― later they realize that Harusame are already on the planet before them. After, defeating the first wave, they went on their way to Takasugi’s refuge. This upset one of the leaders of the first wave, the head of the 4th division of Harusame.
While the allied forces are making their way to Takasugi’s aid, Umibozu and the rest of the Yato and other henchmen of the Kihetai already has him in attempts to evacuate him to another location. A huge boulder suddenly explodes and drops on Umibozu. The mighty Yato didn’t back down, and fires the boulder back at the enemy, receiving critical damage beyond comprehension.
ANYWAYS MOVING FORWARD!!!
The Three Mad Stars were introduced, and those three will battle Gintoki, Katsura, and Tatsuma respectively.
Katsura vs Monkey
( Z: I’m sorry, I verily simply cannot remember his name, because he made his introductions too f**** LONG )
There’s nothing really extravagant during my battle with this monkey, but what made this battle special was the moment I prepared myself to unleash my inner myself. (Including the moment I reveal half of my upper body to my fans―FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!)
The battle concluded with me as the winner, the monkey as the loser. It was really a good match, and I find him a worthy opponent, having to admit his loss to someone like me.
AT THE BACK OF MY MIND:
(Z: SUCK THAT SH*T, YOU FRIGGIN MONKEY!!!)
Tatsuma vs The Robot Scammer
While we battle on ground, Tatsuma battles the enemy on air. However, their victory was cut short after they were invaded by a machine that feeds on its host and controls them against their will. The idiot thought that the enemy that he was about to encounter was a scammer, but then again, Tatsuma still has some wits left, so he’s not that stupid to fall in the enemy’s trap. Or so he was.
He was too late to realize that the enemy had already infested Nobu’s body. The machine later infects Mutsu, leaving Tatsuma all alone. However, a miracle came― Mutsu broke the effects of the machine’s control of her and made a comeback to help Tatsuma, eventually ending the match with Tatsuma’s win.
FINALLY
Gintoki vs The Third Eyed Man
There was a saying, “Save the best for last”, and the episode did. At first, the atmosphere was very horrendous, but it turned in to a comical skit short after (this is before the start of their actual match). The enemy actually mistook Gintoki’s legendary title as PAKUYASA (WTH!!!??? 😂😂😂)
Gintoki constantly enlighten the confused opponent, but he too mistook the enemy for something else. He actually mistook his opponent as the one who either lent him (the enemy) his (Gintoki) money or the one who wants his (the enemy) money back. (omg.....)
After the short comical reunion, their match began. The enemy seemed to have the upper-hand at first, but our savage and badass Gintoki make his comeback by confusing the enemy with his illusionary imagery of himself.
The battle went on for about an hours on Gintama’s timeline, but eventually it ended with Gintoki’s victory over Batou.
Now that we defeated the so called, The Three Mad Stars, we resume on our way to Takasugi’s aid.

Zurafuro Does: Gintama 2017 Marathon!! [Battle on Rakuyo Arc + Battle Highlights Part 1]
Now that I’ve spent a day of marathoning the newest season of Gintama, here’s the awaited summary of the Rakuyo Arc!
Now that Shinsengumi’s temporarily out of the picture, in space, Utsuro immediately destroy the Elders that govern the Harusame. Utsuro now becomes Harusame’s new master.
Back in Earth, Gintoki and the gang encounters yet another job request at their plate. To their surprise, they nevertheless accepts Nobume’s request to help the Kihetai retrieve Takasugi from the hands of the Harusame.
Outside Earth, Kamui and the others are already fighting their way out of the ship― however, they found several men knocked unconscious. Kamui knew that only one man can do this, and there they found Kamui’s father, Umibozu.
A fight begins between father and son, but is cut short after a part of the ship explodes.
Back in Earth, Kagura goes ahead to accompany Takasugi’s men to Rakuyo. When Gintoki and Shinpachi realize that Kagura went ahead of them, they follow her on their way to the Kihetai’s ship with Katsura, Tatsuma, and Takasugi’s henchmen waiting for them. Nobume thank them for this and spares them time to escape from the Bafuku’s clutches. However, they were still caught by the Bafuku and Nobu-Nobu himself (much to their surprise) when they’re about to head to Rakuyo. This doesn’t stop the four legendary Joui warriors to defeat the obnoxious emperor to his feet. Tatsuma then holds Nobu-Nobu as their hostage for the meantime.
Meanwhile at Rakuyo, Abuto meets Umibozu once again. As Abuto’s men sneaks behind Umibozu, he stops and warns them short after about him. After Yoro-Kihe, and Katsu-Tatsu arrives at Rakuyo, Bansai guides them to the Kihetai’s emergency hideout. However, every ‘hideout’ was blown one after another, quickly concluding that Bansai had some laser beams shooting out from his fingers. The gullible Bansai quickly unsheathes his sword with an intent to cut his forefinger (lmao).
The allied forces then realizes that they were lead to a trap, using Takasugi’s other henchmen to lure the unsuspecting group to the enemy. Realizing that majority of the Harusame already arrived, Gintoki nevertheless encourages the others to fight head-on.

LONG HIATUS UPDATE | GINTAMA ANIME UPDATES: A NEW UPCOMING SEASON!!??
Been gone for so long, that I haven’t made this page active for years. Well at some point in our life, we gotta do our priorities first than doing other stuff on the other side. Don’t be like Gin, he doesn’t take life seriously because his world only revolves in reading JUMP magazines hidden in his shack-like house.
(G: That’s an insult right?! You just insulted my mansion right!?)
ANYWAYS, I know that to some of you that this news that had spread around the internet since 3 months ago is old news but it is new for me and for the other Gintama viewers. An article from Otaku Mode (www.otakumode.com) has wrote an anime news article online prior to the impending upcoming new season of the anime. Aside from this news, there were news that had hugely spread about the upcoming live-action movie of the same anime itself! Isn’t that overwhelming!? A new upcoming season and a live action movie!? Isn’t that like the comeback will result to an all-kill for Gin’s fans!!???
I don’t know how our beloved Sorachi-sensei will feel about the news, but I feel that he’s ecstatic about it.
I know that there were times when Shun Oguri was mentioned by the Yorozuya in most of the episodes for just gag purposes, but who knew that he’d actually portray Gintoki himself!? Suprising isn’t?
Well, let’s just see how the movie will play out and maybe I’ll write a special review about it. Well folks! If the countdown for the upcoming new season is true, mark your calendars for another epic and funny adventure of our beloved Yorozuya!!

Gintama: Final Anime Recap Review | Gintama Syndrome | Zurafuro Finally Comes Back!
Everyone!
I apologize for not posting the final anime recap review, as I cannot bring myself to watch the last episode of Gintama. I don’t know why, but I feel that if I watch it and wake up the next morning, I won’t have the ability to move on to that memorable show. It’s just sad that it had to end 2 months ago and not to show the best part that we have been eagerly waiting to see. Besides, I’ve already read what goes down in the anime version.
However, I’d like to inform you guys that it has already been a month since my 4 month vacation started. It’s been long that I haven’t used Tumblr for days and actually one of our posts actually made it to Tumblr’s Radar! (I’d like to keep it to third person as we all worked together to make this post featured in this website)
I’d like to thank you guys so much for supporting this blog, despite of my shortcomings that comes along. I hereby announce my comeback!! (particularly because Tumblr missed me for so long... and also you guys who’s reading this post)
The most awaited arc that has been sitting in my draft section since forever will be up for the next couple of weeks.
