crash course into 50s fashion for peachyville artists :3
Women’s fashion, while not entirely limited to dresses, prioritized an exaggerated figure with cinched waists and flared skirts and pants. There was a heavy emphasis on coordinated patterns, accessories, and colors.
Hair was typically kept short and curled. Makeup prioritized full, arched brows and simple winged eyeliner.
Young girls’ fashion was very similar.
Mens’ fashion was becoming much more casual than women's. High waisted pants and tucked-in shirts were on trend.
Like with young girl’s fashion, boys’ fashion essentially mirrored that of the men. In the 50s, it was becoming increasingly acceptable to let boys wear pants from a young age, instead of shorts.

I've decided that Grant and Marco definitely met on a minecraft server when they were 10. Like, playing skywars or hunger games or some shit. And they kinda stopped talking when the Forgotten Realms stuff happened, but they reconnected a year or two after and they had an intensely gay mutual pining stint througout highschool/college until Grant finally visited one summer and they were engaged within the month. I just think it'd be funny

lincoln is such an interesting and loveable character to me, just because it feels like he has the ground work of a typical innocent/shy positive type character but he really isnt- hes got jealousy problems and is judgy and can be a complete hater at times, as well as being loyal and loving to his friends, he really changes by the end of season 2 compared to the beginning as well, because the last like hints of that "ground work" are being very overshadowed by his other character traits, tho not completely gone-
because like even though hes got the 'i really wanna make friends' type energy and he gives off the vibes of someone who would bend over backwards for the needs of other people, especially at the beginning of the season, he's actually very blunt and sticks to what he thinks, like for example theres that one scene in the papa johns arc when he's talking to dorito devito (the delivery driver guy) and once he decides that the guy is rude he just basically tells the guy to fuck off instead of sticking with the plan of trying to convince him that they're supposed to be helping the guy,
i feel like theres a lot of other examples for that but i just find it such an interesting and unique character trait for his like- archetype ifykwim, and honestly it makes a lot of sense for him, especially when we start to get the notion that he's basically on his way to rebelling more and becoming independent compared to how he was raised, with him protesting with his dads to get them to let him go to highschool, and to him attempting to establish boundaries with grant during and after everything with erin and her trees, hes a teenager that is slowly realizing that he should and wants to have more agency over his life
basically i love this kid sm, im glad hes happy in the future

There are so many songs on my playlist that make me wanna make a dndads animatic so badly. Lost Kitten by Metric?? Yeah, I can see something about the generational trauma of the families in that. Out of Touch by Daryl Hall & John Oates (specifically the "you're out of touch, I'm out of time")? Terry and Terry OR Oakworthy. (I Just) Died in Your Arms by Cutting Crew? EASILY an Oakworthy thing. Slumber by Sløtface? Kiddads that slowly transitions to the S2 kids (very very specifically inspired by that one Amphibia animatic if anyone knows the one I'm talking about). The Chauffer by Duran Duran, based on vibes alone, is definitely just a general S2 song in my brain. Gnaw by Alex G? Kiddads. Shaking the bars of my enclosure I need to sit myself down and actually try to put one of these together
