My bad it was âweâre always gonna be togetherâ which is arguably. Even more. Gah. These two are soooo queer sorry ahem anywayyy. So very romantic. To have the time. To have faith that they do have the time. A faith that they will never be apart. Gah. GAH!
Natsu stayed overnight to make sure Lucy was alright after she got drunk at the party (to make sure she knew it wasnât all a dream. An intuition perhaps.)
Like everyone was so upset that they didnât confess or start dating or etc but like. Everyone else, every other ship (minus gruvia) got a narrated scene/exchange and Nalu got a whole emotional âyou changed me for the betterâ and âweâre going to be together foreverâ ending sequence w music and everything
It wasnât an âalmost confessionâ it WAS a confession (but it deffo was bait I find it hilarious)
Natsu was going to tell Lucy he loves her (duh) and then thought yknow what, we have all the time in the world- weâre gonna be together forever, so thereâs no rush to confess and make things official (can yâall really see Natsu in a relationship rn anyway??)(Natsu and Lucy is so inherently queer cuz there is no way I can visualize their relationship being normal bf gf dynamics in canon but thatâs a whole other story)(what they have works for each other. Theyâre in love and maybe not dating, maybe they are, maybe itâs unspoken, maybe sometimes they wish it wasnât, but at the end of it all itâs forever for the two of them, and they can take their time, and we didnât get a confession we practically got a wedding without the dumb wedding-ness of it, just some nice ole soulmate shit)
Brainrot is SO BAD cuz Iâve been watching while I animate for my thesis and aghhh I love them so much and I think the bait is hilarious bc their relationship is already so solid and practically undeniable
