My First Ever Character Reference Sheet!

So I recently finished my first ever OC Ref Sheet! My friends helped quite a bit by providing examples and also answering a few questions! So I'd like to think it turned out as good as it did thanks to them!

Anyway this is my OC 'Frost Foam'! I did admittedly yoink Frost Foam's body picture from my other Drawing (See Old Art Vs New Art) but I feel like you're allowed to plagiarize your own work sometimes LMAOOO

Name: Rarity Pony Type: Unicorn Age: 31 Infection Status: Stage 1 (Uninfected) Immunity Status: No Immunity Health: 100% Sanity: 3%

Soon after the outbreak, Rarity's sister, Sweetie Belle, got infected... Most kids don't make it when this happens... And Sweetie Belle was no different. She died around the third stage with Rarity sobbing by her side. Other ponies tried to comfort her but it didn't help... Sweetie Belle was like a daughter to her... She had raised her in her parents stead after all... Afterwards Rarity locked herself in her room. Multiple attempts to comfort her or get her to eat or something hadn't been successful and for weeks all that was heard was constant weeping. She got no sleep and didn't eat. Ponies were getting desperate... Until one day the crying stopped. The door opened and Rarity tried to leave. After being restrained and put back into her room for her own safety it was clear she was so sleep deprived she had been hallucinating her own sister. She was hallucinating Sweetie Belle. And that hallucination has since become a danger to her as Rarity had on multiple occasions left her room and put herself in harms way with infested. Luckily she had been stopped each time but now she has to be constantly surveyed... We still can't get her to sleep but she's at least started eating now...

Pinkie Pie near the beginning of the outbreak was doing fine both mentally and physically. Her bouncy nature and Pinkie Senses keep her out of trouble and harms way quite well and in fact have even saved quite a lot of other survivors as well. Though as time passed her demeanor has seemed a lot more force. It's suspected that the whole situation is starting to wear even on her... Despite this she still stays bouncy and seemingly forces a smile... It's clear she's trying to make sure everyone else keeps their hopes up... This place does need positivity and hope but... Does it have to be at her expense?

Disclaimer For Making Canon Characters Into Coral Corruption AU Versions!

Before I start doing any Canon MLP Characters, I just want to say that any and all canon characters from the show may have changes ranging from ages, looks, etc! These are usually based of Head canons I have for them, things I couldn't properly find (Like their ages), stuff to make them fit better into the AU/Narrative, or even just how I interpreted something! As of right now I will also be making the Canon Characters in Pony Town but I may actually draw them later!

I wanted to mention this since as of right now I am working on Pinkie Pie's info :D

Songs That Fit Corral Corruption Characters

Ok so I'll only be doing the ones I've shown so far (OC or Canon Characters Alike) but will be updating this as I go LMAO

Since it's already so long I will be adding a "Read More" thing just in case people scroll through my page lol

OCS:

Zeta Whistleblower! Her Coral Corruption song is "What Have I Become" by Lydia The Bard (Uninfected) or Hunger by TheFatRat (Later when/if she were to get 'Infected'). Her's is a bit more complicated so I might go fully into her story later :D

Frost Foam's Coral Corruption song is a little more difficult to decide but as of right now I'd say "Curses" by The Crane Wives fits her best! She's trying to fight off this infection as best she can but sometimes it clouds her judgement... Her consciousness... And causes her too attack... Yet each and every time so far her beloved has pulled her out of it and helped her.

For Blackberry Twist I feel "Shadow House's Nai Nai English Cover" by Megami33 would probably fit her Coral Corruption Song the best since she's slowly losing herself to the corruption and it's starting to show. She constantly wants to prove that she's not a lost cause to ponies who are clearly starting to lose hope except for a select few who refuse to give up... But sometimes feels like giving up herself... Maybe... Giving into these things and letting the Coral just run the world... Might be better for everyone to truly be free?

River Shimmer has to be in so much pain due to her own body decaying without the Coral spreading fast enough to numb it... So obviously I had to have her Coral Corruption song be "Hurting For A Very Hurtful Pain"! However on Spotify I could only find a cover made by "FalKKonE and Rena" so that's the one linked! But there is an English translation on a Lyrics Site luckily!

Spice Pop has to be the MOST difficult to decide on a Coral Corruption song as of writing this currently since I have no real clue where I want to take her. As of right now though I'd say "Whatever It Takes" by Imagine Dragons probably fits her best! They're all trying to do their best to survive after all... And sometimes a little false hope and adrenaline is all you need to hold on in a hopeless world of desperation, right?

Chocolate Butterscotch I definitely had an easy time choosing her Coral Corruption Song! "Deathly Loneliness Attacks" by SirHammet! She doesn't know that she's fully immune so she is just doing her best to not get infected and to survive. She has a beloved that she is looking for and is wandering this overrun world alone. A meek timid pony who once had to rely on this beloved to help her through life now had to face this life to find the one she once held dear... And as the song says... "No matter just how much she cries... Nobody will be there by her side..." Not until she finds the one she cares for alive and well at least.

CANON CHARACTERS:

Starting off with Pinkie Pie! To me the choice was obvious. In fact it even inspired how I'd do Pinkie Pie cause originally I was just gonna make her her typical bouncy self... But then I realized what if at some point it became forced? Surely not even the happiest most optimistic ponies can keep themselves as such in such a torn apart world. So as I was making normal Pinkie Pie in Pony Town I was of course listening to "Happy Face" by Jagwar Twin!

For Rarity I actually got her whole "Hallucinations" idea where she lost her sister and then keeps hallucinating her from "Circles" by KIRA! Originally it didn't start out as Sleep Deprivation Hallucinations though. It was going to be Hallucinations caused by the Coral. But then Crocs suggested that since she was sleep deprived (Which originally was what caused her to get infected) why not just have her Hallucinate via that. So Rarity isn't infected! Yay :D

So I was in a discord server for Characterhub and in it, Swyndell was offering to do a free doodle! I offered my character Charolette AKA Cherry since she's my baby!

Isn't Che pretty? I love them so much! Well so did Swyndell :D

And Swyndell did the sweetest thing ever! He offered to color cher! Now I admittedly thought it was going to be like a doodle with colored pencil colorings right?

IMAGINE MY ABSOLUTE SURPRISE AND HAPPINESS WHEN I GET THIS MASTERPIECE!!!!

It's even shaded!!! They made her so pretty!!!

Like just lemme gush for a minute about every single thing I love about this!!!!

I love the pretty nails first and foremost! The color, the gloss, the shape EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM! Not to mention the lips??? So pretty! That lip gloss is just *Chefs Kiss*! Not to mention the eyes! Look at those gorgeous eye lashes! The hair has to be my favorite thing though honestly! Nono wait definitely the horns! I love how they made cher horns blend with her skin! And the faint freckles??? GORGEOUS!!!! And don't even get me started on the EARS!!!! I love the attention to detail with the shirt too and going the extra mile with the cherries!!!! And not only that but the posing and facial expression is EXACTLY how I'd imagine Cherry!!!

Shadow House Inspired MLP Infection AU Idea

I was recently Rewatching Shadow House and I'm on season 2

Spoilers For Shadow House

Ok so basically in Shadow House season 1 (Can't remember the episode), scorches (A cluster of Soot that the Shadows reproduce) are introduced, and with them so were Phantoms (A cluster of Scorches to make one giant Scorch) and Soot Sickness!

Let's talk about the Soot Sickness!

Soot Sickness is caused by Scorches and Phantoms and basically is when soot enters your body, causing you to turn into a mindless being who only attacks others! It is caused when Scorches get on your face, or more so, any trace of them get into your mouth and deeper into your system!

So that's what brings me to want to make an AU inspired by that... Buuuuut I already have Coral Corruption and don't want to take on more than one AU (At least as of right now). But if anyone else wants to look into Shadow House (HIGHLY SUGGEST) and maybe take on this project I'd love to see it! And if you do please let me know maybe in the comments so I can check it out for myself and see what you do with it cause I would love to see more Shadow House content and I think it'd be interesting to mix with MLP! And I'd love to see how others would interpret that crossover >w<

Name: Chocolate Butterscotch Pony Type: Unicorn Age: 28 Infection Status: Stage 1 (Uninfected) Immunity Status: Fully Immune Health: 98% Sanity: 92%

Chocolate Butterscotch has been hiding out since the infection started. Despite not really being able to fight, she has somehow made it quite far with nothing more than a deep cut along her leg which has be taken care of to make sure it doesn't get infected with some kind of bacteria and worsen the wound. She has just barely been managing to get by, seemingly only really surviving off of survival instincts, adrenaline, and the determination to find someone close to her that she has been looking for since the beginning of the outbreak.
