One of the best people I had the pleasure to get to know thanks to tumblr. I'll always be a fan of our thirsting admiring of Martin. Of finding the best scenes for my gifsets (because your memory is clearly so much better than mine). Of speculating what will happen in S4 of Breeders. How much screen time Martin will have in his projects. Whether he is working on something or not. What he will wear in his next public appearance. And of course our read- through of the Miller's Girl screenplay.

Ahhhhh 💞😍❤️ oh my god this is perfect! Yes, for all of you wondering, I‘m in love with Tim and he’s my secret husband.
Jokes aside, thanks a million! I'm also incredibly thankful that we've connected through this wonderful fan base, and I love all the chit-chat, speculation, and gossip we have going on.
I’m especially hyped for what's to come, so we can have some intensive discussions about actual content instead of relying on BTS pics or those super short trailers during this dry spell in spring. 😮💨
So hopefully, we'll soon have tons more stuff to overanalyze and geek out about. 🤭 I can’t wait! ❤️

Ok, buckle up! This might get a bit long-ish!?!
First of all, Rachel was one of the best sources for new Martin pics in 2021 and 2022, and hopefully also in 2023 (so far, it's looking good). For that alone I like her a lot. 😁
I know that she has a cute dog (lil' Louis), that she is an actor and writer. I like her hair (😉 got it right, this time xD) and she has a great fashion sense (as far as I can tell, I know next to nothing about fashion). That last bit is probably influenced by Martin. But that's pretty much everything I know about her.
It's not a lot, but enough to put her in my "she's alright" category. Is she nice? Is she a bitch? I don't know because I don't know her personally.
And here's where it gets tricky. I get really, REALLY protective of her when people start hating on Rachel for no reason at all. You know, other than being Martin's girlfriend. The "stealing your man" line from your ask comes to mind here. Because, I still have to see something that would convince me that there actually is a reason to hate her. That she has done some truly awful things. (not that I am looking for it or waiting for it to happen so I can run around and tell people 'see, I told you so' xD)
I have read the weirdest stuff and had the most ridiculous discussions with Rachel haters in the past year. The accusations.. my god. 'She makes him sad. She uses his popularity for her own success. She posts stuff about him without his knowledge.' I never knew how delusional assumingly adult and mature people could be. (I also had a lot of fun with those people... because you know you've won when they start insulting you. xD I like a bit of silly drama sometimes.)
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, of course. You don't like Rachel? That's fine. You don't have to. But please don't start hating on her because you assume she makes 'your' man unhappy (because 'you saw it in his eyes....' , on a photo. 🙄). It makes it very clear why fan is a shortened form of the word fanatic.
I have not seen any of her works. Oh wait, that's not entirely true. My son and I were watching some Youtube videos a while ago and we got some ads between vids.

That’s very interesting! I looked it up on Twitter and while not finding this particular tweet, I found a few others. Especially interesting was an interview with the actress who played Molly in Fargo, saying he’s more of a swimmer.
I then searched for this on Twitter and indeed found out that Martin was frequently spotted in gym swimming pools. 🏊♂️ Who would’ve thought?
So he’s not only going to public gyms, he’s also only in swim trunks. Those people are living the dream.
Does Martin have a habit of working out? He’s never been the super muscular type, but he’s got pretty good pec games in recent years. Just wondering if he’s just naturally wired this way or he makes an effort to look this good; either way makes me happy :P

He mentioned in an interview in November that he does some running. But for him it was more important what music he listens to when running and not the running itself. So, not sure how serious he is about that.
Other than that, I don't really know.
@xeniawatson and I had a funny discussion a while ago where we speculated that he installed a gym at home when the whole Covid thing started, but never uses it. 😂😂😂 Like, he walks by the home gym every now and then and just mumbles "I'm not fucking using that thing." But yea, that is purely born from the silliness in our my head.
But he clearly must do something, because just look at him!
Those broad shoulders and back, the pecs. They just don't grow from doing nothing. He looks really fit and slim and FINE in Black Panther 2.
I am hoping we get to see more of that in his upcoming movie Miller's Girl. 😏
And yes, it also makes me VERY happy! 😁

Since I’m already tagged, I want to add a few points. 🙊
While Martin was never overly muscular, he always had good body proportions. Even in his chubby 30s era (which I sometimes miss dearly) he had great pecs that somehow made him look very broad.
Exhibit A:
He said in an interview, that he slimmed down after hitting 40 because he thought „this is only gonna go potentially downhill“.
So having a well-built body underneath, he immediately looked broader and stronger than we've seen him before. Not only in Black Panther, but also in other projects.
Exhibit B: Fargo
Exhibit C: Startup
Conclusion:
I think he is definitely doing something to stay slim these days. Maybe it's the little bit of running he mentioned. Beyond that, I doubt he goes to the gym and lifts weights. He’s just one of god’s favourites, apparently.
