The longest WWE has went without a women's match at the Royal Rumble was 10 years.  Rockin Robin vs Judy Martin for the WWE Women's Championship (in 1989) was that last women's match at Royal Rumble until 1999 when Sable defended her Women's Championship against Luna Vachon.
