Helia is still out on his spy shenanigans. Good for him (but bad since is just a plot design to get him out of the picture, and he is never seen again in this arc. Shame on you comics 😤)

S2x14
She is beauty she is grace,
She answers the teacher’s boring test.
Actually, Palladium’s talk on the rain rituals was insteresting. I’m glad my girl Flo pays attention.
Her attention is limited to nature related stuff tho. Later in the chapter she goes with Sky Brandom and Bloom to Eraklyon, her reason? Get a special Eraklyon flower for her project.
Before I get into full Flora gushing, let’s appreciate Musa’s rain dance because it was a great application of magic explained early in the episode. And because she looks great doing it, too.
Get it girl!
Gong forward, the kids arrive at Eraklyon, stuff happens and they go save Diaspro.
There’s this little scene with Brandon and Flora where she goes “I’ll ride with you as long as you have a helmet for me,” and Brandom laughs.
So cute. Give me more of that friendship :’) I love MF friendships as much as I love the romances :))
Here they are literally discussing how Sky has had to face deadly threats from Ninjas. Does Flora care? No, but look! She found her teleporting flower 👌 She has her priorities set.
Plant brain goes brrrrr-
And it so happens the flower was the key to rescue Diaspro, who had been kidnaped to bait Sky.
Goodbye school project, hello heroics.
What a queen.
Then while the other guys fight, she stays behind and handles Diaspro’s whining with class!
All that starts well ends well.
I love flora so much.

No context, just Flora
I’m lowkey envious of Helia tbh.

Yep yep! Though I wouldn’t say easy to watch exactly, only because my mind keept trying and failing to draw paralells between the Live Action and the cartoon for the first 2 episodes before it finally clicked that yeah, they are not trying to be Winx Club, but Fate.
But that’s only because I happen to come from the cartoon. I bet people watching it with a empty mind find it much more easier to absorb at the start :)
Finally watched Fate: Winx Saga
My opinion as someone who watched the cartoon: It is not Winx club…
but it doesn’t try to be Winx Club either. Is a series that looks for it’s own identity in a new format and for a diferent target audience than that of the original Winx Club, while basing itself selectively on the original material.
I like to think of it as a T-rated AU fanfiction, but is official and in an audovisual format with a good budget.
That’s what I think.
All things being said: I miss my Flora and Helia SO. MUCH. I was torn between wanting them in and thinking “maybe is for the best they are not here.” lol
I guess is about time I resume watching the old seasons from the cartoon HA.
The Flora x Helia agenda must continue 💅🦋

Ahh~ I see your point!
I guess I found it strange because of the southern american vibe when she is of a more eurocentric influence? Being a princess from a court and all that, but it makes so much more sense under your perspective!
ok so one of you asked if I had seen Miss Magix, but the ask dissapeared somehow (shakes fist at Tumblr)
So, to answer your question: Of course I’ve seen it.
How to forget
…whatever this was.

Quick update: I'm alive and still love the Winx and Flora.
So, Netflix just dropped the adaptation trailer and is obviously going to be different. Whether that's a good or a bad thing, that's something I'll judge for myself once I watch it, because of course I'll watch it 👁️. I'm hungry for Winx content.
Namewise I can see why they changed Flora's name for Terra (specially if they are going for a edgier tone I guess?) but it still hurt my little Flora loving heart. Names have power guys, I can confirm.

how do you think, Helia's new hairstyle is better or just nope? 😏 I like it though
You mean his second hair? because I hear he will have a new one in S8 omg I'm not ready for that one I’m still catching up with my childhood show!!.
His season 4 hair makes him look more juvenile, but I liked the way his S2 hair kind of crossed over one of his eyes. It made him look more mysterious, and by extension more mature. I think I’m ok with either? His hair is still long an silky, and that’s kind of his thing.
The thing I REALLY miss is his chocker thingy! Those strings he used to wear around his neck:
Those gave him that extra sexy. Nnnnnggggg.

Winx Club S2E13
In wich the girls go search for trouble except for Flora and Tecna because of boyfriend reasons
Flora even gets time to go to Magix’s stonehenge!
And who does she find there?
This guy of course
And he finds the letter she wrote before for him, no less!
The Ray dub vs the 4kids dub in this scene is incredibly different.
I’m not gonna lie, I liked the 4kids version better. It added to the lore by having Helia saying that specific flower meant the letter was for a loved one, and after Flora lied saying it was for her parents there is this zoom to his face where he says “wow they are so lucky.” A++ flirting!
Much better than Rai’s fake deep “Nothing. Despite its definition, fewer words have more meaning.” in my opinion.
This Awkward(TM) zoom makes more sense if it is to emphasize he is jelly than it does for showing his mysterious and fake-deep side. Is ok Helia either way I still love you.
Flash forward, the girls get in trouble as always, then get out of trouble as always, but not before Amore turns this one guy gay
Ewww Incest.
And the chapter ends with a cleaning punishment at school.
Look at this:
This is the cute friendship shit I was talking about. Brief, but is there and that's what matters to me. Prove the Flora-Aisha friendship to me Rainbow!

Finally watched S2 E11, also known as the episode where my childhood shipping started
I mean look at them. That silly Flora daydream in class is too cute.
Now, the WInx wikia and the official page state that Flora’s best Friend is Layla, however... Layla only helps Flora ONE TIME saying “The things I do to have friends.” Like she is being forced, and then expends the rest of her feeling time bonding with Musa like??
Don't misunderstand me, Musa brought out the best in Layla, but why state Flora and Layla are besties and then have Musa do the real-talk bonding? Inconsistency? Is going to be explained in a future season? cultural difference? It wasn't meant to be that deep? IDK but it bothers me. Just a little.
I want more of this.
Anyway, look at these nerds. I will gif their dialogue in this scene once I get a chance, it was too funny.
BTW I almost forgot to mention... what is exactly the theme behind Helia’s character? An artistic hippie? I mean look at that room
A mix of African-tribal (shapes and decorations), East Asian (lamp and wall scroll) and Middle Eastern (rugs and cushions).
Very soulful, but very inconsistent if you ask me.
Helia is the real mystery here.
