It’s been three years since you fell in love with your best friend, Kim Woojin. After surviving three whole years of a painful one-sided love and affection, you have grown immune to your emotions towards Woojin. No matter how hard you’ve tried to move on and get over him, you’d always end up back in square one trying to fight with your feelings.

Woojin, on the other hand, has always been totally oblivious to what you felt about him. That was because he stopped believing in love since his first love broke up with him. You were fully aware of how Woojin felt about you and love in general. You knew that Woojin hasn’t fully moved on, yet you still want to confess your love for him. You just can’t take it anymore, you’ve been enduring your feelings for far too long. You feel like bursting if you don’t tell him, so today after school you’re planning on confessing your feelings for Woojin.

You woke up at the sound of your alarm, you sat up and stared at the clock.

“6:30” you mumbled and ruffled your hair. “Ugh why did my alarm go off this early?” You got up and walked to your bathroom to get ready. After getting ready for 30 minutes you headed downstairs and was greeted by a smiling Woojin.

“Good morning!!” Woojin beamed and greeted you with a hug.

“Morning.” you greeted back as you smiled and you two stared at each other for a while. Your mom then came in and greeted the two of you, “Good morning kids.” as she kissed your cheeks. Your mom turned to Woojin, “Have you eaten breakfast yet?” she asked and Woojin shook his head.

“Come on you two! Let’s eat before the food turns cold.” your smiled and pushed both you and Woojin to the kitchen.

“Sorry Woojin, but we’re having a westernize breakfast today, so I hope you like it.” your mom smiled as she passed the plate to the two teenagers.

“Thanks Mrs. Y/L/N! This looks delicious!” Woojin beamed and started digging in. You watched the boy in front of you and smiled. Your mom watched you as she smirked, she then walked towards you and whispered, “Honey if you keep staring at him like that then he’ll melt.” Your eyes widened and turned to your mom, “Mom!” you said with gritted teeth and your mom chuckled. Woojin looked up and drank some water before asking, “What’s so funny?” you turned to him and shook your head, “Nothing, my mom is just being weird.”

“Ahh okay.” Woojin replied and went back to eating. You looked at your mom again and gave her a stop-mom-and-go-away look.

“Okay, okay.” your mom mouthed. “Well I’m gonna go check on the laundry. Just leave the dishes in the sink and I’ll wash them later.” your mom said as she excused herself.

“Are you done eating?” you spoke up.

“Yeah I am.” Woojin replied.

“Alright then let’s go, we’re gonna be late.” you stated as you stand up and grab your backpack. Woojin noticed her untouched food. “Why didn’t you eat anything?” he asked you. You looked at him and then at your food.

“I’m not really hungry.” you replied.

“You have to eat something.” Woojin told you. “We are not leaving until you eat something.” Woojin added and sat back down. You groaned and glared at him, “Are you being serious right now?” Woojin nodded his head and you let out a sigh, you grabbed a piece of toast and added strawberry jam on it.

“Alright I got a toast. Can we go now?” you asked.

“Not until you take a bite.” he replied.

“Yah Kim Woojin! We’re gonna be late come on! I’ll eat this on the way.” you half yelled and threw a ball of napkin at him as you pull him up to stand.

“Mom we’re leaving!” you yelled up the stairs.

“Alright honey! Have a great day at school.” your mom replied. You and Woojin walked out of your house and met up with the rest of Woojin’s friends

As they enter the school’s gate, squealing girls swarmed the boys pushing you and your other best friend, Jina out of the group. You and Jina winced as you two got hit with backpacks and gifts. With the never ending line of girls and squealing, you two finally got out of that hectic swarm of girls, while fixing your now messy hair.

“Oppa, look I made you lunch. I hope you like it.” Jina mocked while batting her eyelashes and gagged while rolling her eyes. You stifled a laugh and hooked her arm with Jina’s.

“I swear those girls are savages and thirsty little sluts.” Jina complained.

“Jina! Not all of them are like that!” you protested! *It’s true though, I mean yes, most of them just like the guys because of their appearances and probably just wants to sleep with them, but I’ve met some of them who actually likes the guys for who they are and some of them actually have the courage to tell their feelings to their crushes. As for me… I have no guts whatsoever.* you thought to yourself.

“Alright, I admit some of them are sincere about their feelings.” Jina agreed and paused for a moment, lips forming a smirk, “Including you, of course!” Jina added with a teasing tone. Your cheeks flushed a tint of red as you looked at Woojin from far away, who was getting a small gift. Jina caught her best friend staring at Woojin and sighed.

“When are you planning on telling him your feelings anyway?” Jina asked while nudging you.

“Today after school.” you replied as Jina smiles widely and shook her friend back and forth. *Maybe* you whispered hoping Jina would not hear.

“Are you for reals?” Jina asked and you just nodded. “OMG FINALLY!! You two make such a great couple!”

You sighed as you stare at the girl in front of you, “Jina, we both know how he feels about me. Plus he hasn’t moved on from his first love, I know he still thinks about her from time to time. There’s this one time last week, I caught him staring at an old picture of them together.”

Jina stares at you and had an urgency to whack you on the head, “Y/N, stop being so pessimistic! You and Woojin are perfect for each other, I just know it. You know I’m having the Jina intuition lol. Why do you even bother confessing if you know that he won’t accept you?”

“I just… want to get this out of my chest. I feel like bursting if I don’t tell him soon.” you confessed while sadly walking towards your locker with Jina following behind you. “Besides I’m not expecting anything. It’s better not to anyways.” you added.

“There you go again being pessimistic. You know what people say it’s hard to forget your first love, but your first love will not always be your truest love. You have a chance with him Y/N, I’m sure he’ll eventually realize his feelings for you, just think positively.” Jina beamed at you.

—Time Skip—

The first bell rang as students rush to their classes. You ran across the hallway trying to get to your class when you heard someone calling your name.

“Yah Y/N! Wait for me!” Woojin yelled, you turn your head towards the boy as you stood there waiting. He halts as he puts his hands on his knees, trying to catch his breath.

“Yah why *breathes* did you *breathes* leave me this morning?” Woojin asked out of breath. You look at him and laugh, “Ummm well, you were surrounded by your fangirls and I didn’t want to interfere and get pushed.” Woojin looked up at you and chuckled, “Oh please you could’ve pushed them away, you’re my best friend! You’re supposed to be by my side everyday.”

“Haha no! Yes I’m your best friend, but I need my alone time and girl time too you know!” you rolled your eyes and flipped your hair. “I’m not gonna be by your side forever, you know?” you added with a hint of sadness.

“What do you mean?” he asked. “We’ll be best friends forever!” Woojin added and wrapped his arms around your shoulder. You smiled bitterly and thought, *Ouch… Well that’s gotta hurt…* Woojin turns his head towards your direction and gave you a wide smile, “Well we’re late for class, wanna ditch?”

“Even if I say no, you’ll still drag me. So there’s no point in refusing you.” you replied while chuckling and shaking your head. Woojin also chuckled and grabbed your wrist, “You know me so well! Let’s go!” The two teenagers ran hand in hand out of the school’s gate. They ran towards the bus stop and waited for it to arrive. Once it came, they boarded and sat down in the back. They were still holding hands when they sat down and Nara’s cheeks were red as a tomato.

“Umm Woojin…” you say while stuttering as Woojin looks at you and hummed, “Hmm?” you pointed at your linked hands and his eyes widened, “Oh! S-sorry!” Woojin said with a flustered tone, he pulled his hand away and looked away. He felt his cheeks getting warm and cleared his throat. You on the other hand looked at him and noticed his flushed cheeks. You smiled while stifling a laugh and thought, *Cute.*

On the other hand Woojin was thinking the exact same thing, while fixing his jacket to hide his flustered face.

You and Woojin arrived at the arcade in Hongdae. Woojin ran towards the arcade as you follow suit, smiling at what you’re witnessing.

“Y/N! Y/N!! LOOOKKK OMG! They have my favorite game!” Woojin yelled as he jumped up and down.

“I swear this boy is secretly a 12 year old.” you chuckled.

“Y/N! Come here! Hurry up!” Woojin hollered and gestured for you to come quicker.

“Alright Gomie(bear) chill! I’m coming!” you replied as you jog to where he is. “Alright what do you want me to look at?” you asked. Woojin looked at you with beaming eyes, “They have *insert fave arcade game*!! Remember when we always play this game??” you chuckled as you look at the game and back at Woojin.

“Of course I remember! I always beat you in this game!” you replied with a smirk. He looked at you and retorted, “Nuh Uh! I let you win!”

“Okay Gomie whatever help you sleep at night!” you sarcastically replied as you flip your hair and started to look for a different game. Woojin quickly grabbed your wrist making you turn his way, which shocked you.

“Hey where are you going?” he asked with a playful smirk planted on his face. You just looked at him before clearing your throat.

“Um I was just gonna go look for a game to play.” you quickly replied as you release your wrist from his grasps.

“No you’re not! You’re going to play this game with me!” Woojin shakes his head in disapproval.

“What? Why?” you asked.

“I’m gonna prove to you that I can beat you in this game! And that I let you win all these years!” he replied. You chuckled and just agreed. You and Woojin are both competitive so if one’s pride gets hurt they’ll have to prove that they’re the best of the best.

“Shit! ARGH!” Woojin groaned.

“YASSSSSS Y/N 3, Woojin 2.” you smiled victoriously at Woojin.

“Wanna play again?” you asked while smirking.

“Yes, but let’s play a different game.” Woojin suggested.

You chuckled, “What happened to the confident Woojin?”

“Shut up.” Woojin replied as a smirk crept his face while eyeing a game he excels at.

“Hey Y/N want to make this game more interesting?” he asked and your dumbass nodded.

“Okay here’s the deal, whoever wins gets 3 wishes and can’t refuse.” Woojin explained and added “Do we have a deal?”

“Deal!” you replied. “Get ready to lose Gomie. I’m not gonna take it easy on you.” you added feeling confident as hell.

Woojin laughed and replied, “Same goes for me. I already got my three wishes.” He dragged you towards the basketball stand. You eyed the game and glared at Woojin.

“That’s not fair! You know how basketball is not my forte” you whined.

“That’s not my problem now is it?” he replied with a smirk.

A/N: This is not done, I actually tried to finish the whole scenario but it got too long and confusing lol so I decided to just post parts of it and then continue to fix some things and do I guess a series?
