Don't forget the whole reason Guillermo is immune is because they kept over-hypnotizing him when he got there.
So chances are Sean will also become immune
Sean not only survived those hundreds of hypnoses when the principal didn’t, he was aware the whole time, and has shown marked improvement from the brain scramblies in S2 even before that. So it’s possible that brain scramblies has always been a condition from which it’s possible to recover, it’s just that vampires usually rip the heads off most victims so they never get the chance, and our Staten Island pod letting Sean live will either bite them in the ass later or their mercy (such as it is) will reward.
Because what if Memories is not about Nandor and Guillermo like everyone has theorized, what if Sean remembers everything and realizes his neighbors are vampires? Will he turn on them or will he be an unexpected ally at a crucial juncture? On the one hand, he’d be justified to be pissed that they scrambled his brain in the first place (not that he was ever exactly a genius) and then traumatized him by flying him around and calling a horde of animals on him, but on the other hand they did let him live, improved his marriage, and helped him out of financial trouble.
