Okay I REALLY wish this was in the movie even more now. Apparently this was meant to take space of Beautiful Day... but I feel like this would've conveyed Candace's anguish even better.
I do see how having both songs would be redundant, and I do see why they got rid of the Candace stream intro cuz it was kinda harder on her than it needed to be... but they wasted a banger and relegated it to the credits, and the animatic legit looks amazing.

I've always wondered why Blay'n and Clewn't recognised her-- and why they claimed that that "wasn't a good thing." It can't be because she was "naughty," because only Buford registered as naughty. I like to think it's because she used to spam them with letters about which kids were naughty when she was younger.

Rewatched CAtU this weekend. SSBD was probably conceptually the most threatening villain to appear in the series and an interesting foil to Candace. I just wish she actually got to be the main threat at the climax of the movie rather than immediately giving up and having her mind-control plant inexplicably become sentient instead.

Been too slammed lately to really draw much. This was a request from a friend from about a year ago. I wasn't much of a fan of how Candace's emo getup looked in the ep, but it's not that hard to make it look good.
Reading between the lines a little, I kinda felt like the plot twist of "Bee Day" is that Candace isn't emo, she's just a bit depressed.

Hey guys, look what I just found! Looks like a storyboard for an obscure deleted scene from Candace Against the Universe! From what I can tell it seems to be legit. Tammy Manis is one of the storyboard artists for P&F and this looks pretty professional.
I'm not going to post the whole thing here because it's 109 panels long, but go check it out here, it's pretty cool:
For those unfamiliar with storyboards, the dialogue is beneath each panel.
I was gonna ask what kind of maniac watches a teenager's livestream just to tell them that they suck, but to be fair, I'm pretty sure I sat next to some people who did that during class back in highschool. Someone give my poor girl a hug.
