He stayed transfixed onto Nick. Daniel is one of those people that didn't like being lied to. Regardless of how the situation may seem or how silly it looked. "Nick... It's serious enough for me to be worried." He let go of his chin to rest both hands on the young boys shoulder.

"Is this because of my business trip?" He couldn't help but smile and retortment to his questions. "Or is it something else?" Daniel couldn't really think of anything else that would make a little Nick's mind run wild like it did.

"I'm r-really sorry if this is a bad time... but I just needed a quick hug, th-that's all."
