Both wardrobes are now in the new house. Once again put back together. Shoved into where they shall reside for forever.

One has some of the fabric in it

the other is ready for me to shove all of my yarn into it

I have come back home and staggered up the steps to my room

So... so very sleepy

There are four boxes that need to be shoved into the car and taken to the new place, and my massage chair needs to be shoved in there, too.

....I am gonna do those in the morning because the thought of carrying something else makes me wanna sob

So close to being done moving

Just gotta get the wardrobes and my desk dismantled and packed

Then the rest of the stuff is going to goodwill or the dump

both wardrobes have been dismantled, taken downstairs, and stuffed into the car

I am covered in bruises and I am gonna be SORE AF tomorrow. And it is then that i have to UNLOAD these things, cart them upstairs, and put them together again

The soreness will be worth it because I'll have a place for my yarn and my fabric. And I have a small craft room that was a sleeping porch

I know my absence here has been a long one, but oh boy, it is gonna be worth it for me once I'm fully settled

Got her a nice spot in the garden. It sees plenty of sunlight and birds

Stress likes to build up

I know it said once I was moved in after the house was bought off be more active. Clearly, that hasn't been the case

Meet Avalon

She's been one of the most precious kitties in existence to me. She came to me from a coworker that couldn't deal with her biting (coworker had her declawed, so Avalon got very upset and could only defend herself by biting). I have her a safe home. It took months, but she eventually trusted me enough to where she curled up on my lap one day out of the blue.

In February, I took the first vacation ever in 4 years. I came back, and Avalon was withdrawn. Barely eating. Took her to the vet and found she had a mass under her tongue.

We did little pick me ups, but not much helped. She couldn't eat any hard food at all and she *hates* wet food, so for the last month I've bought her salmon and cooked it for her. That helped. She was happy for food. She'd eat what she could and then come cuddle.

She's not doing well, though. And I know the pick me ups are just prolonging everything. And the mass has gotten bigger.

Two days ago, I made the hardest decision in my life and scheduled her trip across the Rainbow Bridge.

The time is coming up, and I've just been cuddled up in bed with her. I don't want to lose my pretty girl. Gods, I'd give anything right now to be able to keep her happy, safe, and healthy forever.

I love you so much, Avalon.

Thank to for all the cuddles and joy you've brought to me. May wherever the next life brings you be happy and full of joy.
