HOUSE STARK CANONS

Upon hearing rumor that House Targaryen was looking to wed their youngest prince to the eldest daughter of House Nightingale, Lord Stark sought an alliance between the newest of his vassals to solidify their place in the North; and to subtly remind them that they are vassals, not kings, and certainly not dragons. The move would mean that the daughter would not inherit Nightingale Hall and instead become Stark, and the young prince would not darken the North with his dragon's wings. Though his ancestors bent the knee, there is fire in the Lord Stark's heart and it will not be dampened by the overextending hand of the Targaryens. It is not with fondness or kindness that Lord Stark welcomes House Nightingale; it is a strategic move, and a reminder that the North still keeps to the old ways.

It is the first move Brandon Stark has made in the Game of Thrones as acting Lord, despite his decades at the head of House Stark; but will it be his last? Brandon Stark, the Wild Wolf 53 years old | Played by Paige Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North, there was never a doubt in Brandon's mind that he would follow in his father's footsteps. He is a hot-tempered man, quick to anger and to act on that anger. The best swordsman of the Starks, he keeps his blade sharp. There are few things in life he loves more than his children, aside from horse riding and women. In spite of having a lady wife, he is not faithful to the woman. There are quite a few bastard Snows in the North that call him their father. And it is well known that Cassia Umber is his longtime mistress. Brandon believes the north should remain separate from the business of the south.

Catelyn Stark, the Mother of Wolves 50 years old | Played by Hana As a young woman, she had been eager to wed Brandon Stark, seeing him as handsome and dashing. She had dreamed of their life together as Lord and Lady Stark, him holding her close as they watched their children play in the snow-covered courtyard. Whilst he proved to be a great father, Brandon was not the husband she had hoped he would be. He was never faithful to her, openly admitting to his affairs as well as keeping Barbrey as his mistress. Disappointed with her marriage, she finds herself keeping sane by poking her nose in the business of her children; as well as in the company of Benjen Stark. She found solace in his presence over a decade ago, a friendship and companionship she longed to have with Brandon. But that longing has turned to a wish that it had been Benjen she'd been married to, especially since she is uncertain if the twins are Brandon's or Benjen's. She sees similarities of both men in her twins, and it's a secret she's not proud to keep despite Brandon's openness of keeping a mistress.

Alaric Stark, the Quiet Wolf 32 years old | Played by Hana A consistent participant in tourneys, he is usually the winner of the jousting event, should he not encounter his own father. The man has taught him swordsmanship and horse riding well. Only recently betrothed at a later age, he finds himself discontent to be finally held down, so to speak. It is not that he has a love for women like his father, but that he now sees his future as Lord Stark even clearer.

Serena Glover (nee Stark), the Red Wolf 30 years old | Open Canon

Serena was her father's first and last attempt at reaching a hand out to Southron lords. She was offered as a union between House Stark and House Lannister, but in the end she was snubbed as Tywin had his eye on a princess. Instead, she was wed to a Northern lord and has embraced motherhood fully. She has three children with her husband, the third being only a moon old. Though she is red of hair, she is more Stark than Tully and is fierce of heart.

Arrana Bolton (nee Stark), the Dread Wolf 26 years old | Played by Hana

Arrana has always lived in the shadow of Serena, wishing nothing more than to be like her in every way. So, when she heard she was to be wed, she leapt at the chance to prove she could transition into her new role with grace. It has been anything but easy for her. Arrana struggled to conceive, and when she did she lost the pregnancy before she could tell her husband. Finally, after five years, Arrana fell pregnant and made it to term. A beautiful baby boy. If only her husband could have seen him. Her husband passed two moon's before she gave birth, leaving her in a place of limbo. If she had a girl, they'd be sent back to Winterfell as per her late husband's will, but if she had a boy, they'd stay and he'd be raised in his father's image. She wept on during the birth, and has found strength through him in the darkness. She's starting to learn that she has a strength within her, one that Serena might not even have, as she holds her husband's walls up and raises their son to be every bit of him and more. She's taken on the role of head of house and is learning that maybe this was what she was meant for instead of the softness of a lady like her sister.

Torrhen Stark, the Rabid Wolf 23 years old | Played by Dixie

Torrhen is the most wild of all the Stark children. His mother often jokes that she cannot tell the difference between him and his large wolf-dog, from their physical appearance to their manners. He often rebukes his chambers and instead sleeps in the barn with his wolf-dog, yearning for a life outside the walls of Winterfell. The wild calls to him, but he's not yet managed to escape the claws and eagle eyes of his mother.

Robard Stark, the Serene Wolf 23 years old | Played by Caerina

Robard is much the opposite of his twin, even down to the dark curls atop his head. He has the heart of a knight and is the ward of House Tully, where he yearns to seek out the mentorship of any knight that will take him as squire. He wishes to be the first Stark to not only be knighted, but to wear the white cape of the Kingsguard.

Alys Greyjoy (nee Stark), the Little Wolf 19 years old | Played by Dixie

Alys is a gentle, quiet girl. Her septa believes her head to be in the clouds, and often demands her to stop dreaming the day away lest her brain slip out her ears, but she wishes for a life outside Winterfell. In her quiet, she's observant, and is quite aware of how unhappy her parents marriage is, making her a little worried for her own inevitable marriage. She wishes for a prince, someone to come in, in shining armor, to whisk her away to a life of love and happiness... Someone not of the North. She's had enough cold for a lifetime, and does not need it in her marriage bed.

Eddard Stark, the Noble Wolf 52 years old | Open Canon

Ned was taken by Ashara the moment he saw her at a summer's tourney celebrating the union of Princess Rhaenys and her husband, Nymor Martell. He participated in hope to crown her Queen of Love and Beauty, though he was taken down by Arthur Dayne. Brandon encouraged him to speak to her. Many cups of strong ale later, he finally did, and their dance sealed his fate. He sought her hand and then he sought her heart, and he won all of her. Their marriage has been one of love, and to this day he adores her. He knows of his brother's infidelity and quietly admonishes him for keeping a mistress, but he is unaware of Cat and Benjen's affair. He is Brandon's most trusted companion and though he used to often be at his side, Eddard is now Lord of his own keep, the Lord of Moat Cailin.

Ashara Stark (nee Dayne), the Northern Star 46 years old | Open Canon

To this day, there are those of the North that still do not trust the Lady Ashara. They see her as an outsider, a snake, a witch, a seductress... But they do not dare speak too loudly, least the Lord Eddard hears them. Ashara has a fondness for the stars, the heralds of her family's sigil, and believes them to be the weavers of fate. They've been telling her of strange things lately, however...Dark, strange things that unsettle her, and leave her chilled to her core.

Cassella Stark, the Winter Star 24 years old | Open Canon

Cassella was a soul born out of place, or so she believes. She's unhappy that her match cements her place as the future Lady of Moat Cailin. Her childhood was filled with exploration of the halls in Starfall whenever her mother would take her there to visit, but mostly learning what it meant to be the heir to her father. Cassella is often considered more Dornish than she is Northerner in her actions and beliefs, and this concerns her parents as they fear the other northerners will not accept her as the future head of their house, as a northern lady. Cassella is newly betrothed to Daeron Tyrell.

Larra Stark, the Wild Star 21 years old | Open Canon

Larra carries a bow and arrow with her just about everywhere she goes, and has long-since shed her skirts. She's always tagging behind Torrhen on his adventures, no more than a second behind him. So close are they, there has been rumor that they're sweet on one another, but she refutes this. He is a kindred spirit and has taught her to become a better hunter than most the men within Winterfell.

Arthur Stark, the Gentle Star 19 years old | Open Canon

The similarities with Arthur Dayne end with his name. Arthur has little to no skill with the sword, or fighting in general. He has a love for knowledge and spends his days chasing the maester's robe tails. He keeps his own book of tales he's written, of things he's witnessed, with dreams of being a great historian one day. Not wanting to be a hero, he wants to tell the hero's tale. Arthur is betrothed to his cousin, Alla Umber.

Lyanna Stark, the She-Wolf 48 years old | Played by Hana

Betrothed in her youth, Lyanna managed to get out of her own union by sheer luck of her betrothed passing before they were wedded. She never did seem interested in any match, as in her mind there was no need with all her nieces and nephews brought forth by her brothers. They were the only children she needed, and once they arrived, her father gave up hopes for his own daughter. Left to her own devices, Lyanna spent the early years of womanhood chasing wind and adventure, and finding deep friendship in Maege Mormont. Together, they were a force to be reckoned with, and after a time Lords learned not to snicker when they wore swords on their hips in places of womanly belts and ornaments. Their friendship carried well into adulthood until something shattered, and there are rumors that Maege is the reason that, at forty and eight years, Lyanna Stark has never wed, and that it was the bear that not only tamed the wolf, but broke her heart. There's a ghost that follows Lyanna since she's returned to Winterfell, and a melancholy has taken to her where laughter had once been.

HOUSE REYNE OF CASTAMERE

House Reyne has long thought themselves equal to House Lannister. The wealth they hold is nothing to scoff at as they too have gold mines and have made investments in property, as well as by using their family members in marriage to acquire more wealth. Alliances began when Ellyn Reyne married Walderan Tarbeck and these marriage alliances have been continued by Lady Roslyn Reyne, the current head of house. Roslyn has betrothed her children and her nieces tactfully, attempting to use them as chess pieces upon a board in order to shore up support for House Reyne. This has been done in silent, seen only as the Reynes building themselves up in prestige by making marriage alliances with other well known houses.

There will also be a separate ad made of some ideas for members of House Tarbeck, as they are relatives to the Reynes and co-conspirators in plotting the downfall of the Lannisters of Casterly Rock. It should also be noted that the Lannisters of Lannisport, which is where Ronan's dad comes in, are in on the rebellion as well. How each family member, especially those of the younger generation that are being used in marriages, feel in regards to these matches is going to be interesting to see played out.

Although I have a mini-description for each member of House Reyne that could be impactful for the plot involving overthrowing House Lannister of Casterly Rock here, this request will reflect some further feelings on the characters/Ronan's personal relationship with them.

ONLY LOYALTY CAN BIND

Within the ad you will find the children of Cassia Umber and Brandon Stark. The children were born of the affair of the two, but they are not Snows in name. Brandon saw to it that the children were given the name of Umber so that they could hold titles and be treated well. He loves their mother dearly and so the children she bore him are also very dear to him. He is hopeful that they might love him a bit more than the Stark children that resent him - rightfully.

Please give us some Umbers-Starks! They are very much wanted, especially with northern plots happening. Their half-brother, Alaric, was married to Elaera Nightingale most recently, however she has run off to the Wall. What they have learned is that she is carrying the child of Mance Rayder, the King Beyond the Wall, and considers herself to be his wife. Retribution for this crime was sought out by both Alaric and Brandon. House Umber happens to be close to House Nightingale in terms of location. Because of this, Mina was married to the new lord of House Nightingale, Lord Aemon Nightingale, after his father was executed by her father. Talk about a difficult first year of marriage.

There is also the potential of House Umber being involved with helping provide aid to the Wall with the oncoming threat of the Long Night. Another plotline relating to the girls only is that Brandon is convincing their mother it is time to arrange marraiges for them. He would see them wed soon, though Cassia is hesistant on the matter.

*The only Umber sibling not listed is Endrew Umber, because he is only 16.

THE SNOWS OF WINTERFELL

Brandon Stark has a lot of children from numerous mistresses he's had over the years. While some of his children have been legitimized as Umbers, not all of them were granted that chance. These are the children that are still bastards bearing the name of 'Snow'.

Brandon does care for his bastards, though he does not call them that. They are simply his children to him. He may not have loved their mothers, but he loves them and they are always welcome in Winterfell - at least welcome by him. The other Starks tend to shun them all as if they are the plague. Some of the the Snows have developed a thick skin to this, such as Raya, and it does not bother them.

HOUSE BLACKMONT OF BLACKMONT (AND SAATH)

House Blackmont is a noble house from Dorne, though for over three generations they've been tightly linked to Saath and consider themselves more Sarnori than Dornish. There are countless Blackmonts living within Blackmont and Saath and so this ad does not show them all, but rather only a handful I thought be the most interesting for people to pick up! To get a better idea of where they fall on the family tree, please also read them here.

House Blackmont is also tied with House Crane through three blackmont women, so it may also help to read about House Crane and the men that Amara and Melei have married. You can read them here!

All face claims are only suggestions and may be changed, but it should be noted that they should be Turkish and for the women specifically of House Blackmont, they strongly follow Sarnori tradition of using head coverings.

HOUSE SYNDOR OF MOSSOVY

House Syndor is a rather old house to still be around for the land of Mossovy. There have been many a King of Mossovy from the house over the years and the most recent were within the last fifty. To be the king, one must only be elected by others that have claimed land and gained masterly titles.

Known for settling near a creek that runs into a great river so dark that there are claims the water is black, the Syndors have always been viewed as people with little fear for the dark. They are hunters at heart, with many trophies to show for it. For long centures, they have kept the lands of Mossovy safe.

But even they struggle now as the maegi's hold grows ever stronger in the land.

Black Creek, of which they're Masters, is a village within the forests of Mossovy. The village itself is roughly the size of King's Landing (for comparison's sake) and despite its location within the forest, thrives with trade from Majak and stray peoples from outlier villages and cities outside the edges of Mossovy's forest.

Aella and Shaera Velaryon wanted for Qyle Oakheart Ever since he was a squire, Qyle has been in love with the beautiful, captivating Aella Velaryon. He met her when he was 11 years old, and her 9, and he swore that he was in love with her by the time he was 14. She was the niece of his master, who at that time had been Lord of Driftmark, and already betrothed to her cousin, the heir to Driftmark. Despite this, Qyle and Aella had their first daughter when they were still teenagers, and almost a year after her marrying her cousin. They hid their relationship and children within the folds of Aella's marriage, which was not so much as loveless as it was not wanted by either party - think of it as a Rhaenyra and Laenor situation. Her cousin knew the children not to be his, but he accepted and loved them all the same, while accepting of Aella's relationship with Qyle. He was the only one that knew the true nature of their relationship.

Qyle has maintained a relationship with his children, though they do not know that he is their father. To them, he is but a fatherly figure in their life - an uncle, a friend of their mother's. Qyle and Aella work hard to keep their relationship quiet and out of light, and to the public eye they are nothing more than a chivalrous knight and a respectable lady, with none knowing of their trysts in the night or the way their gazes linger just a little too long to be considered friendly or the way that both ache while away from one another.

Qyle may not be able to openly show or express it, but he loves his family. He loves Aella and Shaera, and I'd love to have them around for him! As time moves forward, I'd love to be able to add his sons in, but for the moment they are too young to be in-play outside as NPCs.

These are all the dragonriders that live within Essos, though most are found within Pyre's Helm. Laena, Aegon, Maekar, and Naerys must all have Chinese faceclaims. This is due to the ethnicity of the the family line through Jaenara Targaryen and Shan Chai. I've merely given a glimpse into these dragonriders to help people in making their decisions on whether they want to play them or not. The ages of dragons and dates they were claimed cannot be changed. All ethnicities are also required to stay the same. KING DAEMON II TARGARYEN Rider of Morghul, nearing 200 years old

Having gone the majority of his life without a rider, he was more or less feral until Daemon took him as his bondmate. When not around Daemon, Morghul remains temperamental, bordering on violent, if challenged, though his temper has lessened somewhat with age. In Daemon's presence he is far more docile, though never completely. Despite the force of Daemon's will, Morghul will still often push boundaries, looking for signs of weakness.

QUEEN CONSORT CALLA TARGARYEN Rider of Wavedancer, 41 years old

Playful and freespirited, though she is capable of reigning in her propensity to wander. Wavedancer grew alongside her rider, spending time mostly within Pentos aside from when Calla went on trips with others within her family. She is extremely protective of her rider and prefers to stay as close as possible. Wavedancer favors horses, but enjoys flying low to the ocean to catch fish. Wavedancer has laid two clutches of eggs, one in 292 AC and the other in 312 AC.

CROWNED PRINCESS HELAENA TARGARYEN Rider of Moonlake, 50s years old

Moonlake is said to have a venomous personality, which is quite the opposite from her rider. She is loyal to her rider and has a strong bond with the person that mounts her.

PRINCE VISERYS TARGARYEN Rider of Greyghost, nearing 200 years old

Stoic and sage but fearsome, Greyghost was a wild dragon of the Dragonmont who was notoriously shy and avoided man for nigh two centuries until he inexplicably sought out Prince Viserys Targaryen during a visit to Dragonstone and claimed the young prince as his rider. Grey Ghost prefers to feed on fish, and is often glimpsed flying low over the narrow sea, snatching prey from the waters.

PRINCE VAELOR TARGARYEN Rider of Open Name, 18 years old

PRINCESS DAENORA TARGARYEN Rider of Whytefire, 27 years old

Only ridden twice, both of these attempted riders were thrown off by the she-dragon, though not killed. She has never been known to kill a human, instead being seen flying over shipwrecks in an attempt to aid potential survivors. Seemingly fascinated with small creatures such as humans, she likes to observe them up close.

PRINCESS LAENA TARGARYEN Rider of Vaerax, 35 years old

Most unlike Laena, Vaerax is calm in nature and has a way about her that brings Laena down from the height of her emotions. She is quiet, rarely ever making a sound outside that of her wings and movements, and does not seem to get agitated when there are others around. Though she is protective of Laena, Vaerax has a gentle nature to her that would not see her threatening harm upon others without absolute provocation for it. She was determined to be a she-dragon in 305 AC when she laid a clutch. One of her eggs was laid in the cradle of Laena's own son, Aegon.

PRINCE AEGON TARGARYEN Rider of Tyraxes, 34 years old

Tyraxes does not like being bothered by others dragon, people, or even keepers. He does not like restraints of the use of saddles. This has made it so that Aegon has had to adapt to using a very light leather cloth covered in fur as he rides the dragon. There seems to be an intelligence to the dragon in the way he knows when a storm is near and refuses to take flight, instead seeking shelter. It does not seem that Tyraxes likes loud noises such as thunder and lightning strikes, much like his rider. He is a swift dragon and not overly hefty, but more lean. The only other dragon Tyraxes has shown interest in is Vaerax and it is believed he is perhaps the father of her first clutch of eggs.

PRINCE MAEKAR TARGARYEN Rider of Open Name, 107 years old

She hatched in 208 AC to Valena Targaryen just moments after the egg was placed next to the infant. Not much is known about her; she is quiet and standoff-ish with most, but is over protective of her rider. She is a large yet oddly thin framed silver White female dragon. She is a skilled speed flyer. Her tail is longer then most making it easier for her to move through the skies cutting corners faster and sharper then any others. She and her rider and known for their speed and agility in the skies. It is believed she has had a clutch before but no eggs had ever been found.

SERENA GLOVER, the Red Wolf Request thread: The Red Wolf Requested by: Osric Glover

The eldest daughter of Brandon and Catelyn Stark. Serena was her father's first and last attempt at reaching a hand out to Southern lords. She was offered as a union between House Stark and House Lannister, but in the end she was snubbed as Tywin had his eye on a princess. Instead, she was wed to a Northern lord and has embraced motherhood fully. She has three children with her husband, the third being only a moon old. Though she is red of hair, she is more Stark than Tully and is fierce of heart.

In relation to Osric, she is his second wife. He had a child from his first marriage to Leona Manderly, but she passed in the birthing bed, leaving his newborn daughter without a mother. It wasn't long after that Serena caught Osric's eye. Desperate for a mother figure for his daughter, he'd quickly decided that he wanted to marry for the sake of his daughter. So a bargain was struck, and Serena was to be his.

Once they were wed, Osric certainly struggled with seeing the red of Serena's hair, as he late wife was also red of hair. Often he felt as though it was a ghost of Leona he saw walking through the halls of Deepwood Motte. Their marriage truly began to bloom when Serena so easily accepted his daughter Mara. Taking to her as any mother would their own babe. Rather than her residing in her nursery, it was Serena who'd insisted the child always be at her hip, and with that acceptance Osric cracked wide open given her capacity to love.

They've since had three children of their own, their most recent being less than a year of age. Osric is a stoic man, and tends to communicate in grunts more than words. Yet with his lady wife, he softens.

The fc suggestion is francesca del fa; but as long as it's a redhead it's flexible! she inherited her mama's red hair, and that part is set in stone. but hit me with faces if you have ideas!

She is a canon character so just be aware that if you take her that activity is expected. I'm very open to developing her further once she's in play if you have a fun trope you'd like to do with them! She also has her mother, father, and 3 siblings in play, as well as half siblings.
