Vmars Headcannon

So everyone knows that Logan slept with Madison Sinclair in Aspen while LoVe was broken up because it caused a major falling out between Logan and Veronica. However when they are together in season 4 I have a headcannon that Veronica uses what happened against Logan every chance she gets. Like:

V: can you grab the laundry

L: no I’m watching tv

V: remember that time you slept with Madison

L: (already with the laundry in a basket) do you want me to fold it too

When Veronica and Logan kissed for the first time I saw it coming but I didn't. I was aware of there growing relationship and I remember thinking it would be sweet if they got together but when they kissed I was surprised. I really thought they were going to just remain a ship that was inside my head or if they did get together it wouldn't be right away. I think they did it perfectly, I was rooting for them almost subconsciously and when they kisssed it was a beautiful shock. Cassidy Casablanca's suicide

*Spoilers up to Not Pictured*

So today I am going to talk about Cassidy's suicide. I recently rewatched the last 20 minutes of Not Pictured and I noitced some things that really made me question Cassidy's suicide. I had always assumed Cassidy planned to commit suicide when he texted Veronica to meet him on the roof because it just made sense. However, while rewatching the episode I noticed that he talked about asking Veronica to commit suicide and framing Aaron Echolls so he could get away with Veronicas death (had he been able to kill her). Cassidy had plans to get away with this. So maybe he wasn't planning to commit suicide when he went to the roof. Then I came up with a new theory. If you've watched the episode you know that there's a moment where Veronica is going to kill Cassidy using the gun he brought up to the roof but Logan convinces her not to. Now, this whole time on the roof Cassidy has been a different person then the Cassidy we knew who is generally pretty shy and sweet . Here he is dangerous, psychotic, and terrifying. Until Veronica is threatening to kill him, here I kind of noticed a change in him, like something broke inside him. I feel like this was the moment he decided he wasn't going to live past that night. The magnitude of what he done had hit him. Sweet, kind, smart Veronica was ready to kill him and he relized what a terrible person he was. Thats my new idea on Cassidys suicide, let me know what you think in the comment!

Lately I’ve been wondering, what was the point of killing Logan.  Why couldn’t Veronica just get one happy ending. They spent all this time trying to help her get over her trust issues and killing off the one character she eventually trusted wasn’t really helping close off the story.

Hi so I have a question for anyone who might have an answer. I’ve seen all of Veronica Mars and I recently started  re-watching the series with one of my good friends. Cassidy Casablancas makes his entrance in episode 19  and I noticed that he wasn’t exactly acting like I know he did later on in season 2.  It was almost like they didn’t exactly know what they were going to do with him yet and they were just putting them there so Dick had a sibling or something.  He wasn’t him yet.  So I began to wonder when they decided to put Cassidy into the show in season one did they know he was going to be one of the biggest villains on the show? If anyone has an answer to this please let me know asap.

I looove Cassidy Casablancas. He is by far one of my favorite characters in Veronica Mars. Yes I’ve seen all of season two and I know what he does but I still love him. I acknowledge that he is terrible person that has done terrible things and a dumpster fire is worth more then he is and because I know and acknowledge that it’s fine that it still like his character. He was definitely one of the deepest and craziest and most disturbing characters on the show and that is part of the reason I find him so fascinating.

If Cassidy wasn’t discovered

Today I was thinking a lot about what would have happened to Cassidy Casablancas had he not been discovered by V and I was kinda weirded out with what I came up with. He probably would have kinda just continued on with life. He and Mac proably would have slept together eventually and then she would have gotten sick( I know that would’ve been a dead giveaway to Veronica but in this scenario we are pretending that he cannot be found) and they would both have been treated on antibiotic. They would keep dating then probably eventually break up. He would probably move out of his house with his real estate business as soon as he could. The real estate business would probably help keep him afloat though I’m guessing he would probably get a job. He would probably eventually get married and have kids. He would just, live on. Cassidy wasn’t a serial killer, he killed for a reason and if he had no more reasons to be a killer he wouldn't hurt anyone. Keep in mind this doesn’t make him good person, it makes him a smart killer but unless someone gave him a reason to kill them, he would likely just live his life. Do you agree with what I came up with or have any other theories if so I’d love to hear them in the comments.

Did Cassidy love Mac update

So earlier this week I posted something on Weather Cassidy Casablancas ever loved Cindy Mackenzie. I concluded that I couldn’t really figure it out mostly because I didn’t understand why he would rob her if he loved her (if you wanna read it here it is: https://veronicawiggin.tumblr.com/post/636802521875283968/vmars-rant-did-cassidy-casablancas-really-love ). Recently I saw a theory in the comments (I would totally credit you if I could find you but for some reason the comment just disappeared. Let me know if that was you or if you would like me to take this down.) that I’d like to talk about. This person said that they think Cassidy Casablancas robbed Mac and took her clothes to make sure she stayed in the hotel room so she didn’t get hurt. Overall I really like this theory because I think he knew if it came down to it he would kill her if he had to and he really didn’t want to do that. Let me know what y’all think!

Veronica's trust issues

* this will completely spoil anything before Season 3 and talk a little bit about season 4 and season 3*

So if you've seen Veronica Mars all the way through you know that Veronica has major trust issues starting in around season 3 and just getting worse through season 4. Recently I began to wonder what made her trust issues so prominent in the last two seasons. She had a couple of things that would definitely help build the trust issues such as untrustworthy boyfriend and watching relationships fall apart left and right as her line of work. However it is my current belief that everything that happened with Cassidy Casablancas that finally broke down the barrier with her issues. At the end of season one she thoroughly believed Cassidy when he told her he had nothing to do with her rape and trusted Cassidy to be with her best friend Mac. I think, even though Veronica didn't know it, she trusted Cassidy more than she thought so when he turned out to be the one who raped her and killed all those people on the bus something and her just kind of snapped and her problems with trust blossomed from there. I'm not saying Cassidy is the only one who gave her trust issues but I think he could have been the breaking point for a lot of little thing. What do you think, do you agree with my theory? Did Cassidy Casablancas really love Cindy Mackenzie (Mac)

So recently, after having finished all the episodes of Vmars I was thinking back on all my favorite ships besides Logan and Veronica and I remembered that there was a time was Mac and Cassidy were together. At first I was like awhowcute and then I was like oh yeahhhh. After that recollection I began to wonder if Cassidy ever loved Mac. Thinking back through I can't really think of a reason he would date her in the first place if there weren't some sort of feelings there. Was he trying to get close to Veronica for fear of her finding out? Possibly, but it kinda seemed like he was already on Veronica's radar. Was he doing it because he is just a sick person and wanted to use someone. Again, possibly but Cassidy wasn't born a psychopath, he became one through abuse so what if he just wanted someone to care about him and vise versa? When Cassidy refused to sleep with Mac was he trying to protect her from his sexually transmitted disease, his last bit of decency at work, or was he trying to avoid getting caught and knew that Mac getting sick would him away? Perhaps a little bit of both. After all of these questions I decided he probably did love her. The clues saying he felt something for her seemed to out-way the clues that said he never had feeling for Mac until I remembered he robbed her and took her clothes as one of his last living acts. Now how does that work. “I love this girl but I know I am about to get caught for murder so before I commit suicide(I always assumed that when he knew Veronica figured him out he planned to kill himself as he asked her to meet him on the roof), you know what, I should rob her.” That doesn’t exactly add up. But if he didn’t love her why would he start the relationship in the first place. Was there whole relationship just a tv trick to get you to trust sweet Cassidy? Likely. But that still begs the question, did Cassidy love Mac. Honestly guys, I still don’t know. If anyone thinks they know or has more evidence please let me know in the comments. On Cassidy Casablancas

The first time I watched Veronica Mars, Cassidy Casablancas was my favorite character. I thought he was sweet and kind and attractive and honestly I just loved everything about his character. I adored him and Mac together as one of my top ships for the entire show. When I found out it was him who had raped V and caused the bus crash, naturally, I was devestated and shocked. When the pain wore off I began to dissect his character in an atempt to understand him. Cassidy was clearly a full blown phsycopath and there is no reason to question that and it was a long painful ride for him to reach that state . It was cear Cassidy grew up in a troubled household were he was abused physically and psychologically to the extreme. Not only that but he was sexually abused by non other than the happy go lucky mayor of Neptune. Cassidy had been through hell and back. However, even after all this, Cassidy is still fully to blame for what he did. He was weak and wouldn't tell people about his sexual abuse and he was weak and gave into the torment of his family causing him to let that crazed part of him take over and allow him to murder those kids. He was weak and he killed himself. In conclusion, Cassidy Casablanca was a weak man.
