September Bullet Journal | 2022
Tumblr media
September is finally ended and I have a bullet journal look-through for you (with a half-month delay). I don't create a bullet journal through the summer, because there are not enough things to keep track of, so September is always a new start for me.
This time I decided to make this look-through a little different, specifically from the end. The main things which give the journal personality are the notes, so I took a photo of my journal after the end of the month.
What do I think? I love this spread and how everything falls into their place. Of course, I took inspiration from someone, so...
From who do I get inspired this time?
A lot of my inspiration comes from Ruby Granger because the style of her handwriting looks elegant and natural at the same time. You must ask: why didn't I wrap around the pencil sketch? I wasn't sure if that looked good and to be honest, It doesn't look bad in this way.
Journaling page...
is basically my little diary, where I surely don't write every day, but most of the time when an nice idea, interesting quote comes or when I'm watching an marvelous movie, my thoughts are writen down here.
was an idea which I took from my summer journal. I realized I would like a space where I can write all my thoughts. I write very small letters and have got pretty beautiful reactions, which I greatly appreciate.
In this space, there is also a habit tracker, which looks pretty same like the old one, but the habits are changed to help my feel stable. Writing about sleeping, I'm trying to go to sleep at same time every night, because there is a huge different between when I sleep 7 hours and just 6 hours.
Tumblr media
Calendar...
was since last time made smaller on one page, because I didn't find myself used them enough with so much space. I loved the way how Ruby Granger made them so I decided to imitate it in that style a little. The decorating have been made with Stabilo liners, for example pumpkins instead of number. In the corner there is also an symbol's guide in case I would forgot them.
And to-do list...
is the last page which is one of more esthetic parts of my journal. I'm already using the Notion for to-dos so the tasks on this list are the reminder, creative and personal tasks etc.
To make the days organized, there are a stickers in between, which are very diverse. Creators of these proticular stickers are @misavsalku, @lucieell.art and @mythoughtful.space (a little mushroom).
Tumblr media
I know that this article isn't anything groundbreaking but I think it's nice to create this little look to my creative process, from which I after some time and you can get inspired.
Anyway, thank you for reading, I hope you liked it and see you next time to my new thought.

13 Autumn Trifles
Tumblr media
Czech version
Hello magical souls,
We have an uncountable amount of trifles, which we can enjoy, yet we often overlook them, even when they're right under our noses.
Let's say we discover 5 trifles in a day. That's 5 reasons to up our mood and when is the better chance than in autumn. It's okay if you can't remember any of them because that's why I'm here today. I wrote down some of them, which I enjoy the most, as the start of the academic year is always really hectic, so why don't we make him more fun?
Something warm
I think that's one of the easiest things as it's affordable and until now I don't know who couldn't make a cup or mug of tea, coffee or anything else. It can literally warm the heart and help us enjoy the moment. I personally love black tea with milk, green tea and...
On the walk outside
To add more esthetic we won't forget a scarf, of course. The trees slowly start turning yellow, which is why I can't wait to see the end of October because the leaves always bring me different thoughts.
Rain
Someone may already know I love rain and walking in it as it's the part of autumn. Everyone is more at home, which creates a cosy atmosphere.
Books reading
It's sad that so many people don't read books because the story can draw you into entirely different worlds with a snap of the finger, where the best part is that you can imagine them by yourself. Fall is usually connected with fantasy, wicked titles and thrillers, but it's absolutely your choice what you will choose. I would recommend The Silver Witch by Paula Brackston, The Power by Naomi Alderman and The Secret History by Donna Tartt (currently reading).
Decorating of desk/room
Some decorations don't even have to be bought. There is lots of material outside like pine cones, nut shells, leaves or rosehips. I know not everyone has that option, so try to find alternatives (paper-one f. e.) on Pinterest. I believe you will always have at least 1 way.
Tumblr media
When you look in the stores around decorations, even that can bring you a good autumn feeling.
Autumn to-do list
We all know how hectic the academic year can be, and that's why you should write an autumn to-do list (or bucket list) to don't forget all the fantastic ideas. You just need to choose what you would like to do this cosy season.
Series/Movie night/day
Don't say you don't have time. Everyone needs to relax, and so do you, so plan one night or day you're going to watch a movie. Alone or with friends and choose some great piece. Watching movies through Zoom isn't as good as in one room, but being with others is just much better.
My personal favourites: Fantastic Mr Fox, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and The Gilmore Girls
Leaf pressing
This activity doesn't even need to use your strength. All you need to do is just put a leaf between the pages. It's also so lovely to find these leaves when you forget they are in the book. Also, you can use them as a decoration for a diary, for a room or make an album, which some people do.
Autumn background
I take this Trifle from Ruby, but if you have your own device, costumes it to your needs and changing wallpaper into autumn esthetic is also part of it. On my Pinterest, you can find some inspiration in section season. The fall wallpaper I'm using now on my laptop you can find on this page.
Candles
It's the small warm light. Perfect for studying and mindfulness. In fact, I never start autumn without at least one candle. It brings such a cosy feeling when the flame slowly burns the wick. For those who live in the dark:
"Be light to your own darkness" - P. N.
Playlist with autumn theme
Music can change our perspective and how we can perceive the world around us. Even when we have no energy left, the tone can give us at least a little energy. Taylor Swift, Chillhop music, the choice is yours and if you are wanting to find out what I'm listening you can check these two playlists. One relaxing, one energic :)
Lying in the leafs
This thing is usually happening during the pre-Christmas season when almost all leaves have fallen. I'm just after the first week of uni and I already feel stressed, but lying in the leaves always helps kinda clean my mind, so try to stop and think for a minute.
Colours
These thanks belong to Solomon, who gave me this beautiful advice. The most beautiful and essential part of autumn is simply enjoying the world around us, which partly follows up the outside walk I wrote about earlier. Sometimes all we need is to see a bird or feel the grass. Wherever you are, just stop and recognize the colours around you.
I hope you all will make time in your busy schedule for some of these trifles because a good mood is simply what we need. I hope you enjoyed today's article and see you soon.

Why your productive routine does(n't) work?
Tumblr media
Hello all magical souls,
No article for a long time and whenever is a better start than in the pre-academic period. Many videos, articles, and guides on how to work smarter and not harder are released. However, the majority of people forget most of the time one important statement "this is my way of doing things, it doesn't have to work for all of you."
It could be called a lazy routine. You take the routine of someone else and just go with that. It works (with great luck), or it stops working in the most unlike situations. I tried throughout my school years several methods and if you crashed, here are a few inspirative words for you.
Tips for better focus, easier studying, or else can be helpful, but they're mainly for inspiration. No one is exactly the same, and our personality manages stress and tricky situation differently. When we watch a video of someone we look up to, we often put our needs aside.
In my older posts, You could see layouts inspired by Jusuf, which I managed to set according to my needs, but when I started with bullet journaling, the spread was just a copy of hers, and yes, it worked but only for a short time and not really effective.
So what should I do?
1. Try to think. What from your current productive system helping you? Is it the music, a place, or an essential? Don't throw all your routine away just because some part doesn't work.
2. Find the time when you are most productive. Just because someone said "it's the way, how our brains work" doesn't mean you're not allowed to pick a different time.
3. Make your routine more basic or complex according to your needs (but don't overwork yourself).
4. Try different routines. Don't stick just with one way and experiment. Don't be afraid of failure because this is part of the productive process, and if you find a system not working after some time, it's OK. We change through our carrier, which is only great. It's a sign we are evolving.
If you don't have any productive routine try one of these:
Pomodoro - 30-60 minutes work and 5-10 minutes break
All at once - for example, 4 hours straight. It may sound unrealistic but for programmers and math, in general, is the best option (because of short-term understanding)
Inspirational - working when you feel you want to do something but don't have motivation. Try to play Work/Study with Me videos or listen to Lofi Beats, and you will see if you feel more productive (better to use in combination with some other option)
Thank you for reading this more inspirational article, same as that essential statement. It's also a different view on how to make your routine better. There are always several paths from which we can choose, and I hope we will meet on the next one very soon. Stay safe and many successes with the new academic year.

How to start journaling
Tumblr media
Even though I know there are lots of guides and articles about how to start journaling, I want to contribute with my opinion, which can eventually a lot of people, who seek answers to this question.
It may be not that obvious but when you finally sit behind the table, the question "how to start?" shows. If you get to this point, I hope this article will help you as a little guide through your new place for your thoughts, ideas and discovery.
When you open your journal, try to start writing about a thought currently lying in your mind. It can even be this thought about starting this journal. It will be nonsense, but It can also be a really good note.
I follow the thought that every artist started with ugly art to be able to make significant and beautiful pieces, and the same applies to writing. You trying to write to find, what is best for you.
It also depends on which style you want to use. Self-reflection, diary-style, affirmation, prompt question or all in one. The advantage is the limit is your imagination, just like with a bullet journal.
People who like to have less monotonous pages often use stickers or draw illustrations in their notes, but it's not something you need to do to do journaling. The notes you write are essential things. You write because you want to get inspired, make yourself feel better or you don't want to forget memories which could bring you a pleasant smile.
I started with a diary style which thought me I don't need to write every pity thing and it was the beginning which I needed for better journaling. Recently, I began with self-conversation and... a combination of everything. It sounds strange but self-conversation can sometimes do real wonders.
Discovering journaling sessions was also something which really helped me to create some beautiful pages and when you start to recognise, how to answer your problems, everything becomes much easier and it may become your therapy.
Tumblr media
Thanks to a friend from Study Stream who asked me this question, and I hope this little guide will be helpful to every creative soul. Thank you for reading, and see you next time.

How you make so much aesthetic journals? :)
I just create what I think looks best. Also, I buy lots of stickers, watch other artists and use Pinterest, but it is just about experience. It will be 4 years since I started journaling

Let's Journal
Tumblr media
Greetings magical souls,
If you read the latest article, you already know I finished mid-school about 3 weeks ago and going to continue on high school, but what now?
I have lots of free time which I would like to divide between season job, friends and family and creative content. Yeah, and also free time, because no one does something all the time. This summer I would like to spend more time with my friends and family.
Like a new bullet journal, life is just untouched pages, where we write the story of our life. We don't know what we will write but we can affect them by which way we will choose. The new chapter is starting for me and the same as a new journal starts with blank pages.
I chose the Leuchtturm1917 in the Bauhaus edition, with a little cute quote on the top: "Everything starts from a dot.". I decided on it because I used the slim version, which you could see in older articles and also a lot on Instagram.
Let's look inside
Tumblr media
The index is not something I use pretty often, so I pin here a small note, ideas and it's basically "a page for everything."
Tumblr media
May reflect was something where I wanted to record my most important moments from may and there were so many of them. It's black and white for now, but I plan to add a little colour. I let you know if I gonna update it on Instagram.
Tumblr media
I think June started to show that I'm starting to accept myself, which is why there are so many of StudyStream notes from sessions. More. This page is also partially made up of upcycled washi tape from the sticker packaging.
On the same page, there is also a small calendar which is so cute, but it isn't really practical. It better as a deletion calendar, but still can be useful for smaller event notes.
Tumblr media
At last the name of journal is on the back, which makes the journal little more minimalistic (inspired by Nae ig: @kalepipe).
Inspiration:
- @cheyennebarton
- @frannerd
Shortly, if you skipped completely in the end, new chapter gives me a lot of possibilities, but also scares me, but I will try to find the way through, and I think you should too try it as well.

Coffee confession - month maturita update
Tumblr media
Hey y'all magical souls,
No article in a long time. You who have been watching me on Instagram, probably know why, because I had been doing my middle school-leaving exam. Honestly, I'm glad that I have finally time to write something else than just book analyses and subject questions. Just so liberating and even though I am a study person doesn't mean I can't enjoy the freedom.
It was truly a ruff month, during which I gain a few highlights to share with you. This will be like a little confession, about what I noticed in the month of "the adulthood exam". Just a few words which I wrote over a cup of coffee in my hands.
Safe to say, this is a translation and the original article is in Czech here
Thinking confession
Everyone who already experienced this, felt how high stress level can this mad exam create. There were few of us, where the level reach highs, which you wouldn't even think of. It's unknown state for majority of people and only few chosen one can understand.
Over the madness lake held me only few things. Ruby Granger's motivational videos, family and friends from StudyStream.
I wrote about this platform in the latest post and really recommend to try (no collab). There are amazing people, which made my Fridays much happier.
Study confession
It's a little harder to say because something there were subjects that I studied in advance and some that I had finished at the last minute. I just procrastinated them and it was maybe the best. I realised that not everything stays in my head forever and just repeat that few days before the exam.
I also divided the work into several parts to study more productively. So hour literature, hour economy etc. Frequent changes of places hadn't been always a good decision. What was a good decision was to handwrite some topics, which took a little more time (no lie) but for a more productive reason.
There were not many people in the class, who didn't print the topics (except for economy), but I understand it. Not everyone has this option but if I have it, I should give it a chance. It's just too many papers for a pointless thing.
For this topic, I used Notion, which wasn't the best option for offline learning but It did its job very well and showed me, that there is no need for paper and a pencil every time.
After all, I did pretty got in the oral exam and had a lucky (aslo thanks for all congratulations). If you don't have it, just try to say something, because teachers will take this into account. You will do it, If you tried during your school year.
Journal update
And the last thing, I finished my current journal, so in the next article, I will show you the beauty I chose. Aldo, I will miss the old one, because there are just so many gorgeous and beautiful layouts, that I love so much.
Tumblr media
Anyway, this will be everything for this life update. Congratulations to all graduates who did it. To those who made some mistakes send lots of luck to not become the timber till September.

How to idealize studying
Tumblr media
Hello magical souls,
Since the beginning of my blog, I have been writing only in Czech. However, I love British English so, I have decided to start writing in this gorgeous language.
In this article I'm focusing on ways, how you can romanticize your studying. These are tips that I personally use while I study and tried to write them down as closely as possible to original.
It's my first multi-language article, so please inform me if I wrote anything wrong. And without any further to do, let's move to the tips.
Recommended to prepare a cup of tea, before starting to read.
1. With friends
If you know someone who wouldn't distract you so much, ask them and organize a study meeting at a cafe, library, at your home or in any other productive place. It's untraditional but it can be really fun. Just remember to set some limits. You want to be productive and it sometimes can get so exciting that you don't do anything at all.
It's possible you have no one to study with, so I definitely recommend to try StudyStream, which is a website where you can enter an online study rooms through Zoom. I started using it during the spring holidays, and I found myself liking studying with people worldwide.
I think it's also a good first step for introverts to step a little from their comfort zone.
2. Music
It's so incredibly unbelievable how can music shapes us. Yes, sometimes is just better to study in quiet but I think it can make us work even harder.
Recently, I add a new method of choosing the music, according to what you read. All thanks to @studywithinspo (yt)
Basically, if you work with numbers, you can play any (no dance) music.
However, when you doing reading for a language class or working with letters, it's better to choose more calm music, like Lofi, Chill or Jazz music.
Also, think about how do you currently feeling because even wrongly chosen music can have exactly the opposite effect.
3. Rewarding system / Pomodoro method
Basically, you set a certain time for studying and then you take a break. Maybe it looks a little bit less productive but it truly makes a difference.
In my case, I am using the 1 hour x 1 hour method (sometimes 30 minutes)
4. Morning / afternoon / evening
Everyone is most productive in different amounts of time, so finding the best part of the day really helps you to do as much work as it's possible.
Don't go to the extremes, when you will not sleep for several days. It only damages you.
5. Planning and organisation
"I'm calm, knowing what my purpose is. I'm prepared and know I can do it". If you plan ahead, you have the advantage you know what you need to do. Yes, you may have don't to think about it, but it is a low price for preparation.
Planner, digital calendar, bullet journal, all of that can help you, but there is no need to use everything to get things done in peace.
6. Aesthetic
This is the easiest way, how to romanticize study. Decorate your room with candles, pictures, books, aesthetic objects or everything else (what will not distract you).
7. Reading
I love reading, but so many of my classmates don't and I think one of the major problems is, that they are forced into a genre that they don't like. So, finding your favourite style on the book field is very important.
Mine are f.e. fantasy, educational literature and modern mid-war novels.
8. „Shut up, I said to me, when my mind said it's so difficult“
More like a tip, this is a motivation for the kind of work you really hate to do. Yes, school is hard. I know that from my own experience, but just start and don't make excuses, about why you can't start. As more work you do, the calmer you will be.
Also to over workers: don't give yourself exaggerated goals and too many tasks. Make time for yourself. The essence of idealization is to enjoy studying
