On the occasion of World Asthma Day, VIMS Multispeciality hospital, backed by the Venkateshwara Group, hosted free medical and health camps.
On World Asthma Day, VIMS Multispeciality hospital, with the support of Venkateshwara Group, organized free medical and Health Camps in half a dozen villages of the Meerut & Moradabad divisions.
In order to promulgate health services in the rural hinterland, we organized these camps under the Chalo Gaon Ki Aur mission.
In 6 free Medical and Health Camps held at various locations, 1062 patients were treated and prescribed medicines.
The locations include Khandawali in Meerut, Garhmukteshwar Toll Plaza, Badgaon in Baghpat, Chandpur in Bijnor, Gajraula in Amroha, and Nai Basti.
Apart from this, over a dozen patients suffering from acute asthma, TB, & lung infection were transferred to VIMS Multispeciality hospital for advanced treatment using VIMS ambulances.
The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, CMS Dr. I B Raju and the Hospital Marketing Director Mr. MA Chaudhary inaugurated the health camps by cutting a ribbon.
The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated because of Ayushman Bharat, Arogya Bharat, Jan Aushadi Yojana & the PM’s health insurance schemes’ world class medical services are within the reach of the common man.
The Venkateshwara Group is committed to offer world class health/medical services to the thousands of patients that arrive at VIMS Multispeciality hospital every day.
The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi affirmed the Venkateshwara Group will organize free medical and health camps round the year to provide quality medical services to the people of UP west.

422 educationists attended the function & called for making India a world leader through value-based education.
They asserted the role of teachers will be crucial in creating a new India.
The Venkateshwara Management honored these teachers coming from UP, Delhi, Uttarakhand & other parts of the country with a Shawl, memento, and citation.

The Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) students won over 2 dozen medals at the All India Culture & Sports Festival AURA 2024 in Delhi.
It was a momentous day for the Venkateshwara Group. The MBBS students of Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) won over 2 dozen medals & certificates at the All India Culture & Sports Festival AURA 2024.
Over 70 public & private medical colleges took part in AURA 2024, organized by the Army College of Medical Sciences (ACMS) Delhi Cantt.
Safdurjang, AIIMS, Lady Harding Medical College, MAMC, PGI, UCMS, RML, AFMC, Baba Bhimrao Ambedkar Medical College, along with many public & private medical colleges, took part in the All India Culture & Sports Festival AURA 2024.
The VIMS students outclassed their opponents & won medals in many events, much to the delight of the College management.
The VIMS students won 12 golds, 8 silver & 5 bronze medal in various sports & cultural events at Aura 2024.
Dr Sharmila Dudani Dean AMC, along with the Registrar ACMS Col. Dr AK Singh, felicitated the winners by giving them medals & certificates.
Dr Rajeev Tyagi, the Pro Chancellor and Official Representative of the Founder President of Venkateshwara Group, announced that Aniket Pant secured the first prize in the Solo dance category, and Disha and Aniket achieved second place in the couple's dance competition.
The VIMS team won first prize in Shiv Tandav. Niyati Tomar came second in solo song. Disha & Harison came second in duet singing in the 4-day cultural event.
VIMS, team Astitva, came third in fashion show, followed by team Abhinay, which came third in couple dance, while Aniket Pant came second in Hindi Creative writing.
While Riya Dutta came second in face painting, the VIMS team were runners up in football.

Shri Venkateshwara University has launched the Chalo Gaon Ki Aur scheme that aims to provide quality medical, educational, and healthcare services in the villages of UP west.
The Venkateshwara Group, through Shri Venkateshwara University & VIMS Multispeciality Hospital, has introduced the Chalo Gaon Ki Aur scheme.
It aims to provide high-quality medical, educational, and healthcare services in the villages of West Uttar Pradesh. .
Under the Chalo Gaon Ki Aur scheme, 200 experienced doctors from VIMS will form 20 teams to offer free medical and health services to over 700 villages in the Meerut and Moradabad divisions.
As part of the Chalo Gaon Ki Aur scheme, Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute will honor and provide scholarships to deserving underprivileged students from the UP Board/CBSE who enroll in its courses.
Along with this, the Venkateshwara Group will adopt 2 dozen villages and work to improve education & health services in these villages under the Unnat Bharat & Developed India campaign.
The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, CEO Mr. Ajay Shrivastava & the VC Dr AK Shukla inaugurated the scheme by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.
On this occasion, the Venkateshwara Group also launched a poster of the scheme.
The Founder President, Dr. Sudhir Giri, alongside the Pro Chancellor, Dr. Rajeev Tyagi and other staff members, launched four ambulances.
These ambulances are equipped with advanced life support systems and aim to provide free treatment in the villages of UP west.

Shri Venkateshwara University coordinated a large-scale tree planting initiative in celebration of World Earth Day.
Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute hosted a tree plantation drive cum nature conservation awareness rally to mark the World Earth day.
Dr. Sudhir Giri, the Founder President of the Venkateshwara Group, has urged the staff and students to protect our Mother Earth by conserving nature and putting an end to the uncontrolled exploitation of natural resources.
The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, & the Chief Advisor Dr VPS Arora inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.
The VC, Dr AK Shukla, joined them to unveil the plantation drive cum nature conservation awareness rally.
In line with our dedication to nature conservation, we have planted 501 shady and fruit-bearing plants both on the University campus and alongside the national highway.
The Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated because of climate change & uncontrolled exploitation of natural resources, the world is experiencing global warming.
Because of this, we are experiencing temperatures of 42-45 degrees in April itself. If this continues unabated, the world is going to get doomed.
We need to plant more trees to conserve nature before it gets too late.
Dr. Rajeev Tyagi, the Pro Chancellor, emphasized that neglecting tree plantation and nature conservation will lead to serious consequences for humanity if not addressed promptly. Hence, we should vow not only for tree plantation but for their lifelong conservation & promotion.

Total 4 teams took part in the faculty cricket tournament. Faculty members from the education department, Pharmacy, SVU Faculty & the Admission Marketing team took part in the event.
The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi & the Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh inaugurated the event by cutting a ribbon & by getting introduced to the players.
The Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated, sports make a person strong, confident & competent. They not only foster mental & physical development but also play a major role in developing a strong moral character.
The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi asserted Indian sports persons are realizing their passion by dedicating themselves to games.
Through their focus, hard work, dedication and determination, they have earned a respectable place in society. I advise all to spare some time for sports every day.
The Campus Director, Dr Pratap Singh, affirmed players who have a passion for sports, team spirit and who support other players are in fact good sports persons.
In the opening match between B.Ed & Pharmacy teams, Pharmacy won the match by 9 wickets. Dheeraj Kataria was adjudged the man of the match for excellent performance.
Admission Marketing Team & SVU Faculty came face to face for the 2nd match of the tournament. Admission Marketing Team defeated the SVU Faculty convincingly by 50 runs.
Mr Jitendra Pal became the Man of the Match for his extraordinary performance.
The final was played between Admission Marketing Team & Pharmacy which was a close finish with Admissions team finally defeating Pharmacy by 3 wickets.
Mr. Ankit Kumar Chokker was adjudged the Man of the Match.
Mr. Jitendra Pal won the best Batsman of the series award while Mr Dheeraj Kataria was adjudged the best bowler of the series.
The college management felicitated the winning team players by gifting them medals & trophy.

Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute agreed to a shared educational contract with many countries to propagate Indian education & culture all over the world.
Shri Venkateshwara University, along with Zeenat Handicraft Ltd. & IT Ministry Government of Assam, organized a shared educational contract cum Holi Celebration function at Ashoka Hotel in Delhi.
Ambassadors and High Commissioners from over 40 countries, including the UK, USA, Palestine, Brazil, Russia, Canada, Austria, Zimbabwe, Kenya, and Dubai, took part in a shared educational contract and Holi Celebration function.
The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, who is the official representative of the Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri along with the Director of ZH Mr Kashif, felicitated the diplomats by gifting them turban, Patka & a memento.
Mr. Bhubaneswar Kalitha, Rajya Sabha MP, & Chairman of the Health Ministry Standing Committee was the Chief Guest at the event.
From June onwards, Shri Venkateshwara University will start a shared educational programme with the UK, USA, Palestine, Brazil, Russia, Canada, Austria, Zimbabwe, Kenya and a dozen countries.
Student exchange & Faculty exchange programmes will be the main outcome of this shared educational programme.
On this occasion, we honored Palestinian Ambassador Besam F Harris, Russian High commissioner Oksana Agefonova, Slobodan Ozonov of North Macedonia, Jalata Antuseva of Kazakhstan, Angelo Matikyoko of Brazil, along with over 50 high commissioners from different countries.

The Venkateshwara Group promoted VIMS Multispeciality hospital launched the Venkateshwara Lado Bitiya Samman Yojana 2024 for fostering women's empowerment.
Under the Venkateshwara, Lado Bitiya Samman Yojana 2024 pregnant women delivering a girl child at VIMS will not only receive free medical care but also receive a onetime cash reward of Rs 3100.
To make the delivery process hassle free, pregnant mothers do not need to show any documents (domicile etc.) while getting admitted at Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS).
Pregnant mothers just need to show their Aadhar card & they will be admitted to VIMS hospital.
Taking inspiration from the honorable PM’s Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme, the Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri has introduced this women empowerment scheme. This beneficial scheme will start on April 1, 2024.
VIMS Hospital CEO Dr. HP Singh, along with the Gynae HOD, Dr Rehana Najam announced this scheme in a joint press briefing.
The Venkateshwara Group Founder President, Dr Sudhir Giri, announced that pregnant mothers can take advantage of this scheme from April 1, 2024 onwards.
This scheme will provide free delivery care if a girl child is born, along with a onetime cash reward of Rs 3100.
The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi affirmed for seeking admission at VIMS pregnant mothers do not need to show any documents like (Income/Domicile certificate etc.). They just need to show their Aadhar card for getting admitted to VIMS.
Dr Rajeev Tyagi, who is also the official representative of the Founder President, Dr Sudhir Giri informed that motivating from the PM’s women empowerment scheme, Dr Sudhir Giri has started this scheme.
This scheme will not only lead to women's empowerment but will also change the mentality of the rural populace towards girls.
Dr. Rehana Najam, Head of Gynecology at VIMS, assured patients they will receive top-notch medical care for various conditions like infertility, uterine issues, cancer, neoplasia, and hysterectomy.

Shri Venkateshwara University hosted a campus placement drive, resulting in the successful placement of 88 students.
Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute organized a campus placement drive 2024, wherein JF Rane Automotive India Private Limited, a reputed automobile company, took part.
Over 400 students from Gajraula & Meerut campuses took part in the campus placement drive 2024.
After 3 rounds of stringent selection process, the company shortlisted 88 students & gave them offer letters. The Rudrapur based JF Rane Ltd. has hired them for Junior Engineer & Associate Production Engineer roles.
The students were jubilated on getting placed. They will join the service from coming April 4th, 2024.
The Venkateshwara Group has successfully placed over 1600 students in one academic session.

Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute has signed a contract with Grayquest, the leading educational loan company in India, to provide the most affordable educational loan in the country.
Grayquest will offer an educational loan at much cheaper rates compared to banks.
This contract will not only benefit new students for the 2024-25 session but also those who are currently studying in their second, third, and final years across various courses at the university/institute.
The CFO, Mr. Vikas Bhatia, shared this information along with the Chief Associate Director of Grayquest, Mr. Shishir Purohit Singh, at a press briefing.

Shri Venkateshwara University hosted the Farmer felicitation ceremony & Farmer Health Seminar 2024.
Shri Venkateshwara University, VIMS Multispecialty Hospital & VGI Meerut jointly hosted the Farmer felicitation ceremony & Farmer Health Seminar 2024.
Under this program, we honored over 322 village heads & progressive farmers with a shawl & memento.
These farmers represented Amroha, Meerut, Hapur, Sambhal, Bijnor, Moradabad & other areas of UP west.
Mr. Bharat Bhushan Tyagi, the Principal Advisor to the Agriculture Ministry, GOI, was the chief guest at the event.
He educated farmers on different methods to safeguard their seasonal wheat, sugarcane, and mustard crops from pests. He further elaborated the methods to double farmer’s income.

The Honorable Founder President of Venkateshwara Group Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi & the Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh inaugurated the event by cutting ribbon & offering flowers to the portrait of Goddess Saraswati.
In his address, the Venkateshwara Group, Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, reiterated Yoga not only makes the student strong, confident & competent but also fosters their mental & physical development.
Yoga also plays a vital role in their character development.
The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi asserted Yoga plays a major role in beautifying the mind, body & soul.
The Campus Director, Dr Pratap Singh, affirmed Yoga provides us enough energy to face all difficulties of life. We should spare some time each day for doing Yoga.
Rajni Kumari grabbed the first spot in the women’s category, while Riya Kanojiya stood second, followed by Laxmi Yadav, who came third.
In the men’s category, Rajesh came first, followed by Ashok Singh, who came second while Abhishek bagged the third place.
The College Management felicitated the winners by giving them medals & a trophy.
Finally, the Campus Director thanked the Principals Dr Sanjay Tiwari, Dr Nitin Raj Verma, Dean Academics Dr Abhishek Swami, Brajpal Singh, Deepak Kumar, & the Pharmacy Principal Dr Nidhi.

Shri Venkateshwara University felicitated the winners of the Senior Women’s Yogasan Championship.
The 4th National Senior Women’s Yogasan Championship 2024 came to a ceremonial conclusion.
Over 582 national and international players from 29 states took part in the national championship, which was conducted under the supervision of the Sports Ministry, SAI, and the National Yoga Foundation.
The UP Yogasan Federation organized the event from March 11-13.
The Pro Chancellor, Dr Rajeev Tyagi, felicitated the players & technical officers by gifting them medals from Shri Venkateshwara University.
Dr Rajeev Tyagi is the official representative of the honorable Founder President of Venkateshwara Group, Dr Sudhir Giri.
The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, who is the VP of the Kick Boxing Federation of India, was the Chief Guest at the event.
He, along with the officials, honored the winners by gifting them a medal & memento.
The Pro Chancellor, Dr Rajeev Tyagi, stated in his address that women's empowerment is at its peak because of honorable PM schemes like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Beti Khilao.
