so. this isnt an announcement i ever wanted to make and not something i wanted ppl to know but its gotten to the point where not saying it is only going to end up worse than saying it so! here we go. note, this has nothing to do with anyone aside from myself. its 100% my problem and my decision and nobody here or anywhere else is at fault.

to make an extremely long story short, i literally cannot physically survive in my current home anymore. period. and right now, there is nothing i can do to even *start* working to improve that. i need time away from the home to heal and like, *actually* work on fixing myself, getting help, etc. but the problem with that is i have no money. as well as no reliable source of income. so. one of two things is happening.

im giving myself a deadline. two weeks from today (nov 22), i either manage to get enough money to at least temporarily live somewhere else via donations, OR, i go put myself into inpatient somewhere. the bottom line is i cant keep living where i am, physically. its not an abuse situation dw, it’s just. the actual physical conditions are unliveable for me. and i dont have anywhere else to go anymore.

if you can, you can donate to me. if you can’t, don’t worry about it, but please do at least consider spreading my social media posts im making about it (i’ll link them under this when theyre up). i dont really know how to put into words how very serious this is but trust me when i say that it is. nobody *has* to do anything for me, ofc, nobody’s obligated. but as my friends, family, n people i care about in general, i think you deserve to know that my limit has officially been reached.

outside of the financial situation im begging everyone to just be kind to me for now, extra kind even. i might be focused mostly on myself/my own creations and maybe a few other people’s rn and its not a personal thing. im just trying to find everything and anything that makes me happy so i dont completely drown in the sinking ship that is my mental state. im not saying you *have* to engage with any of my content, but i do kindly ask that if you have the time/energy and see me posting about stuff that engaging with it makes me feel really good and helps me if only for a moment, yknow?

the like. weirdest thing to me about the argument of like “trans people who threaten terfs are just as bad as terfs!” is like...

nah cause terfs threaten trans ppl’s lives literally just for being trans and no other reason needed (all trans ppl btw, they’re most violent publicly towards trans women and other transfem people but don’t be fooled they hate us trans men/transmascs/non-binary folk too). that is the basis of their movement, the entire movement is about hating trans folk and wanting us to not exists period point blank. 

and we can’t just stop being trans. even if we go into the closet or like, detransition (people who detransition btw are valid until the moment they try throwing blame on the trans community, i’m not bout to say ppl who detransition are evil on principle), that’s... not something we can just do right away immediately, it’s a whole process and it takes more than just saying a couple words and/or cutting off some toxic people in our lives. which can be hard but it’s nothing compared to hiding who you are all the time lmao. either way, assuming you do not independently choose to detransition, even if you say “oh i’m not trans now” you still are you’re just in the closet. that’d be like if i said “welp i’m no longer black!” i still would be black lmao just. denying that part of my identity.

meanwhile

terfs can literally stop being terfs at any time. any moment. they can just Stop Doing That. there’s a billion arguments and resources with cited sources they can go read and look at if they want to. they can literally talk to a varied group of trans people at any time, on tumblr, on twitter, fuckin wherever on the internet if they can’t irl. they can change their ideology and stop spewing hatred at ANY. FUCKING. MOMENT OF THE DAY, ANY DAY, ALL 365 DAYS OF THE YEAR. they simply choose not to. it’s not a part of who they are as people, as much as they want it to be (tbh kinda weird if u consider hating an entire group of millions of people for 0 reason a huge part of ur identity but i digress). it’s not even widely socially unacceptable to hate trans people openly or mock them or threaten them! terfs are just cowards who wanna push this image of “wah scary evil violent trans people!” so other transphobic or transphobe-inclined cis people with no knowledge of trans people will be inclined to believe them.

and if u don’t see the difference here, or why it’s acceptable for trans folk to post “yeah terfs eat shit” in “terf safe” tags or whatever, then i cannot help you any further lmao

So, I’ve really enjoyed doing the Gendertober thing so far. It’s fun to make graphics, and it makes me happy to spread good terms coined by cool people.

So, I’m already planning a similar event for next month! I don’t have a title for it yet, but this event will celebrate gastrogenders/foodic genders instead of hallowgenders! If you’ve coined genders like these and are okay with me using terms coined by you in the event/would be especially interested in that, can you please reblog this?

A deleted interview with Judith Butler (who now uses they/them pronouns) from the Guardian.

TERF writers seem to have infiltrated the newspaper and this is one of the reasons the interview was done away with. Such a shame. Butler is the renowned sociologist and writer who wrote the amazing Gender Trouble book, where they explored how gender is a social construct and how everyone, to a certain extent, performs gender because of society and culture.

Much of Butler's more recent work has suddenly disappeared recently due to TERFs and radfems taking a disliking to their work, which goes against their harmful belief that gender is biologically innate and that there is such a thing as a universal womanhood.

The whole "men are biologically useless! We could live in a world without men because of science!" Is quite concerning when you look at it while being physically disabled because uh... eugenics.

To say that a group of people has nothing to offer while assuming that they're able bodied is long past the point of thinking that we can throw away people who need help or accommodations with everyday tasks.

To insist that only people whose bodies can serve a purpose should survive is ridiculously ableist. Especially when us disabled people are trying our best to tell you that our lives still have value.

ive been thinking about something important.

so i was debating with myself on why it’s okay for a person of color to say they hate all white people, but it’s iffy at best and sometimes a red flag at worst for a non-man to say they hate all men.

then it clicked for me: because all white people benefit equally from all forms of racism/antiblackness/etc whereas not all men benefit equally from all forms of misogyny/transmisogny/misogynoir/etc. in fact, there are times where men don’t benefit much at all from certain forms of oppression against women and it actually hurts a good portion of men too. mainly when those oppressions overlap with race or sexual orientation/gender presentation.
