Curtains | Richie tozier × reader

He sleeps, dreaming peacefully. 6 am on the clock as they both lay there together, calmly, kind of cute to be honest. He was awoken by her giggle, y/n has always been the love of his life. And will never change. He sits up noticing the sun was slowly rising and y/n was still sound asleep, she was in a dream too. Happily doing whatever pleased her, Richie stood up and walked over to the window of the two young adults apartment and peeped out the curtain. Quiet. That's what could define the town they lived in at the time.

Y/n's pov

I sleep as Richie tozier looks out the window of our apartment, we were young, 19 years old at least. I was in the most wonderful dream, I got everything I wanted but what made it a bad dream was that I didn't have him. He is all I want and love and nothing can change my mind, I lay there in my dream before waking up to the alarm. Every morning we wake up at 6:10 am and so on, going to work and doing whatever is necessary. I rise from my bed silently not causing Richie to notice me until I walk up to him, he holds me and doesn't say anything for a moment, he just looks over me with a sweet smile "you are the reason why I wake up in the morning" he whispered. I smile as he spoke, his voice sounded like music when he whispered. He always tells me that he whispers because he is talking to me and only me, no other boy or girl can compare. Or what he says, he has cheated on me but he was drunk. We stand there before I say "we have to get to work soon, rich" i say quietly. He takes in a breath before looking back down to me "can we stand here, for just 5 more minutes?" He asked "the puppies are expected today" I say, we work at a shelter. I thought it'd be cute but we work in different parts of the job. No we don't have any degrees or anything, we're just volunteers. He then let go of me and started getting ready "alright, let's go" he says. I get changed and ready before we head out the door, "tomorrow we are going to sleep a little longer" he said to me in that joking voice he uses whenever I get my way with things between us.
