Yeah, so FRAGMENTED is canceled.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I've moved on from the project, as have the other team members. This announcement should have been made a long time ago, but wasn't due to lack of motivation.

I do want to eventually release a summary of the comic's plot and where it would have gone, as well as a lot of sprites that were never made public and some other extras. Expect this sometime in the next month or two. I can't give a concrete date, as senior year and college applications are keeping me busy right now, but I'll make sure the comic has an appropriate sendoff. Thanks for sticking with us for this long.

im cutting it pretty close on this one but

Undertale’s 4 years old already, huh.

Before I get into the rest of this post, I want to thank Toby for making this game that changed so many people’s lives 4 years ago. As cliche and obvious as it sounds, if it weren’t for Undertale I wouldn’t be typing this right now. Hell, I might not even have a Tumblr, or have met any of the great friends I’m working on this comic with.

Sad to say, we don’t have anything major to show today, like a comic part; it would’ve been pretty funny to release Part 4 on UT’s 4th anniversary, but what can you do. However, I have good news: even though school’s started and things are a little slow, my motivation is kind of coming back in little bursts sometimes, enough to do some work- the script for Part 4 has been finished and sprites are coming along pretty well. Here’s a couple previews:

Hopefully this makes up for the inactivity, if only a little. Though this is a pretty long-term goal, we’re aiming to get something out by the anniversary in November at the latest; if all goes well part 4 should be out long before that, and part 8 or something will be releasing in November.

finals are over, but

yeah i’m... kind of burned out on undertale right now, so i’ll be continuing this break for a while. make no mistake fragmented is NOT dying and i intend on finishing this story, but i just. dont have the motivation to work on the comic rn

this blog is probs gonna go quiet for a while until i get my motivation back. in the meantime i’ll probably be working on some other projects. anyone who wants consistent updates should join the discord server (link in this blog’s desc) since im a bit more active on there

Why we’ve been silent

Finals are a bitch, and even worse when combined with a sudden loss of motivation. It kind of just be like that sometimes. There might be a few more weeks of silence still- comic production is likely going to pick back up during the summer.
