With reports from the people down below showing signs of casualties, she quickly scoped up knowing that the perpetrator would be fleeing the scene soon. Anyone who wasn’t injured would be searching the area for them or anything they could have left behind.
As the rain came in and the lightning struck, a figure would be spotted fleeing  down the hill. It’s the only likely spot that someone could be retreating from and make their getaway. Taking a deep breath and aligning herself properly, she would squeeze the trigger and have the bullet fly. A custom model made to disable the targets movements or at least slow them down.
The 2nd shot blasting through the house caused a substantial hole in the building, more than enough for a few heads to look out at. The bullet delivered to it’s target, and Boom could only assume that they had delivered a killing blow. The rubble of debris combined with now, heavy rainfall made for a difficult time seeing. With a strike of lightning, they went into their pocket and grabbed the photo: digging it and burying it into the ground. They shuffled through the grass, backwards, collapsed their rifle into two parts and quickly began to backtail into the wilderness and away from the village. Small and effortless steps turned into a full on sprint as they ran down the hill, and into what appeared to be a temperate forest in the distance. Whether or not they had escaped without being seen, it was undetermined for them.

The sound of thunder would have her quickly try to spot where the sound was resonating from. The possibility that they are still in their scope might give her enough time to look for them. Staring down the top of the gun as her eye peer into the dark to search while she searched thoroughly while sweat was going down the side of her face.
It seems the panic hasn’t calmed down there since the assault continued but Manako was going to do her best to stop the target. Perhaps she should take a step back and wait for them to reveal themselves one more time. This would bring up the threat of them hitting one of their shots if she doesn’t locate them soon if they haven’t already.
The fact that these people were able to prevent a death even after the shot was fired was impressive, perhaps they were paranoid: or perhaps they had intel that Boom was unaware of? It could have been that someone or something over there, was able to react beyond the speed of sound. Regardless of the fact, Boom didn’t even bother to move and nor did they even bother to let the failure effect their mission. Taking the loss as a sort of learning purpose, they watched in the lens as the VIP was taken to rescue. The only heat signature detectable in the area was the amount of heat coming off the barrel of the gun, it being quickly sizzled out by the slow but steady rainfall. “Talk a’byoot fast reactions, mate.” They whispered under their breath, as the VIP had escaped directly into a building. Luckily, it was made of wood and material that a heavy sniper rifle could penetrate. They watched and observed the house, seeing that the windows had been put up as well as the blinds- only for a split second did they get to see the VIP once more. They fired again, this time directly at the building and piercing into material to get at the VIP’s center of mass. The bullet would’ve hit the building like a cannon, and left a small vapor trail for half a second.

The gunfire drew a reaction from one of the people near the man, causing them to react and quickly pull him to the ground. As panic ensued, people would be moving a bit faster from the scene. Without being told on what to do, Manako adjusted her stance and carefully searched where the other could have been hiding. One could guess that the other was not only using the night to their advantage but possibly some other means of going undetected.
Perhaps it was time to contemplate on where they could be hiding rather then frantically looking. Too much movement could cause the other to find them out and would end badly. Despite not being down there, she can eliminate the possibility of being behind the building. It’s likely that they are still in the same spot in case that someone is looking for them and they wouldn’t be caught running. With that knowledge, she would know that the shooter would not be in any nearby buildings so that they could escape once everything calms down or attack again if possible.
With cold and calculated breaths, the vehicle approached and with enough light to make anybody in the distance aware of the fact. Switching off their entertainment systems, they focused and observed who might have been in the vehicle. Reaching into their pockets, they took out several photos- monsters, or rather, monster people. Most of which held feminine appearances, and Boom had only one to pick off. “Easy pickings …” Putting the photo back into their pockets, they sighed and took up the rifle once more: with slow breaths that never stopped and a finger that grew closer and closer to the target, a shot was fired. A perfect shot, one that was aimed directly a center mass. Whistling through the air and faster than the speed of sound, if nothing was done for the target: they would absolutely have been dead. It was, only coincidental, that rain began to drizzle. Nevertheless, it the devastating power screamed out to the world with gunfire to sound off their location.

As the vehicles came up, plenty of people would be greeting while others would stand by to watch the area. The possibility of a shooter is unlikely but will not be ignored if someone were here for such a thing. With a quick glance. it looked as if the only thing that was protecting them was the body guards but someone who examines the area once more would see a figure on the roof of the building carefully watching over the escort of the VIP guest.
On the roof would be the Monoeye with her standard sniper rifle in her hands; a CheyTac Intervention M200 with the scope removed. It’s said that her kind are able to see 2kilometers without it but require a steady hand to go about using this kind of weapon. Despite the occasional watery eye due to the wind, they would make sure the guest makes it inside.
@unioptical In the dead of night and hidden away in tall grass, the only thing visibly detectable was the fact that a small, half inch barrel poked out of the tall blue grass of night time. It was a sniper rifle, one that was meant to send a heavy bullet into armor and out the other side to injure and even kill. The moon beamed down enough light to give a perfect image of blue and purple, while this one hid away at the very top of a hill nearly an entire kilometer away. At the top of this hill, it was flat and the tall grass acted as a perfect camouflage. As one went away from the center of this hill, they progressively went down up to the point that they either went into the wilderness, or the village an entire kilometer away. Through a snipers scope, they peered at a door- and they stared at the door, unblinkingly and ready to take a life. It was ‘boom’ or officially known as M517. Wrapped up in a gillie and protective armors, facepaint and with a hologram attached to their helmet. This hologram acted as a means of passing the time, one directional, and for whatever reasoning: the sound was only apparent for them, and only them … the vibrations made it so that this could be possible. They appeared to be a small girl, a human girl, about 5 feet tall and laid down securely nested into the darkness. Waiting for a VIP target to come into view …

“I see…”
*That wasn’t really good for her seeing that probably meant she would need to find things on her own. It did present a problem that would become annoying quickly. But there really wasn’t any way around it was there?*
“Fine! fine. I can do that, probably… maybe… ok not really. I’m going to have trouble finding my way to just about anywhere I need to go without help. You know. Blind.”
*She sighed. She might be able to pull it off sometime but she couldn’t guarantee she would always get it right when she had to do things on her own. But she was going to reassure Manako. Didn’t want what happened earlier to happen again.*
“B-but I’m sure you’ll figure it out. You are smart after all/”
“Well, they might be a bit easier on you if we give them your information. However, I’m sure in no time, you’ll be walking through their house without having to see.” It’s a marvelous thing to see them do since they probably have learned the ins and outs of said house and will rarely run into anything.
Tumblr media
“...you understand what I mean, right?” Hopefully they know or she might feel a bit awkward since it seemed pretty nice to say at the moment.

“Of course! Whats life without a bit of unpredictable stuff right? It will be fun.”
*She gave a soft smile even if she still had her chest puffed out in an exaggerated expression. She sighed and deflated a bit as Manako continued.*
Tumblr media
“Well might as well. I’m sure you can handle that easily enough. I trust you to do a good job.”
As Manako checked through the list, she had to tell someone others to give them a call when they could so that she could finally assign the dragon a place to stay.
Tumblr media
“Most of the people that were assigned to taking care of dragons were mostly strict with how things work. So simple tasks that you ask them to do would have to be done yourself.” It would keep dragons away from the nature that they usually take.

“No no no. I said your doing great and I meant it.”
*She rose to her feet, her two tails flicking slightly as she puffed out her face and put on a expression of pure confidence that only a dragon could pull off with a straight face. She wanted to make sure the other thought there was no doubt in her mind that she was the best person for the job.*
“You wont cause any trouble that cant be dealt with easily. In fact I prefer it this way.”
It shows that her self confidence isn’t high but she is trying her best to calm down and keep her composure. “Are you sure?”
Tumblr media
“Well, in any case, we should see if people who accepted your species as their secondary option.”

“Nononono! I’m not mad I swear.”
Tumblr media
*She hadn’t expected such a reaction out of what she assumed to be an adult and it in fact made her panic. She needed to reassure the other. She wasn’t sure how to go about that but kind words were a good start.*
“I-its ok! Your doing great!”
“Perhaps I should have someone else more capable of this to take care of you.”
Tumblr media
After all, lacking depth perception could lead to quite a lot of trouble in very short notice, especially when taking care of someone that can’t see much as well. “Would you prefer to do that so I don’t cause trouble?”

*She seemed to sigh. Did Manako miss the “dont give dragons special privileges” part? It didn’t matter she supposed. It’s not like she would lose her head over having people at her beck and call. She probably needed their help more than anyone else anyway. If only to lead her to her room because she would almost never find it on her own.*
Tumblr media
“Alright, alright. I’ll keep that in mind. Not like i’ll ever use it outside of people helping be find things but that isn’t important.”
*She grumbled slightly as she coiled her twin tails around her. This was getting complicated a lot faster than she had hoped.*
“I’m sorry, I was thinking out loud for the possibilities and then the downsides of those.” Manako was trying her best to come up with the best outcome so they didn’t have much downsides.
Tumblr media
“Please don’t be mad at me, I am just trying my best!” The monoeye was having self doubt issues at the moment.

“I-I dont think thats a very wise idea… I’ll probably lose it… Ya know.”
*she pointed to her own eyes as if to remind Manako that she was in fact blind. She actually pondered the remote she had mentioned before rubbing her head. It was probably not the best idea to give her such an item.*
Tumblr media
“I know you mean the best but… Are you sure giving an item the summons servants to a dragon is a good idea? I mean. We just talked about that right?”
“…I honestly doubt you would be able to fill my request. Its kinda intense and I dont really think you guys have the ability to keep it up.”
“Ah right sorry.” She was still trying to get used to telling each and every visitor about what they could do in these hotel rooms. “We have all kinds of workers that will help you ranging from the smallest of fairies to the largest of ogres.”
Tumblr media
“However, they might get busy with other requests that are being made by others so it might be a while till someone answers your call.”

“A room would be nice… B-but there is no need to rush. I’m not that much of a fan of being left completely alone.”
*She started humming a soft relaxing tune again. She had no interest in leaving just yet. She found this place a bit more relaxing than she would ever find an environment built specifically for her, if they could even pull of the mixture of magma and snow that is. The reason for that was quite simple. She had someone to listen too.*
*She became bored very easily, especially because she neither had any toys nor would she have any toys she was given for long. if she simply put the toy somewhere she would almost never be able to find it again because she couldn’t see it. Truly being blind was a curse*
“B-but yes. If I could, can I please have a room and just not go there yet?”
“Of course, I’ll tell them to hand you the card so that you can get in when you need to.” However, they mentioned them not wanting to be alone and probably should mention there is a remote for calling someone for other requests. “Don’t worry, if you ever need someone, you can always buzz someone to get you something!”
Tumblr media
“If you have any special requests for your room, we can do that too like add a few things to it or remove some.”

those-who-know-darkness:
“Yeah. Its best not to feed our ego’s. W-well not too much at least. The opposite can be considered true as well. If you dont give a dragon anything they like at all they’ll start thinking your treating them unfairly…
*She seemed to scratch her chin while looking away slightly, despite the fact she couldn’t actually see. It was kinda embarrassing how many of her kind could be manipulated by their ego’s to hurt people.*
“You dont want a dragon on your hands that feels like they were treated unfairly. That isn’t good for anyone.”
*She munched on the snack a bit more before she sadly ran out. She wouldn’t ask for more and didn’t exactly know where to put the wrapper so she slipped the wrapper into a pocket that was hidden inside her poncho before she continued.*
“But you dont have to worry about anything like that from me… I dont crave the normal type of treasure like other dragons… I kinda crave something else. But you dont have to worry about that.”
That had her pondering on what the other was interested in that she treasured, but she wasn’t going to pester them until they told her since it seemed a bit rude to do. However if she does mention it, she’d have to keep it in mind just in case she has the chance to ask about it.
Tumblr media
“I’m guessing you’re gonna be here a while. Do you want to be given a room so you can stay?” There was a hotel near that allowed extra species and perhaps she would prefer to rest there so they can get ready to present themselves to their host family.
